Bed was comfortable and the price was right for an easy place to rest but pipes taped with duck tape to hide holes in bathroom. Definitely not a quiet area. Stuff was very nice though. They was were very helpful and friendly and time I came to the desk. I would stay

Definitely a pass
The place smelled of weed and there were hairs on the bed and towels. The only reason it didn’t get a 1 is because there were no critters. Front staff was nice but will be avoiding in the future.

Dirty and smelly room,used condom in trash can,pubic hair and stains on bed sheets.did not care to spend the night there.i went to the reception and gave the keys back to the clerk.i hope i get reimbursed for that.never again.

Room key had to be reprogrammed every day during our stay.
Toilet plugged. Phone did not work. We were given a room that adjoined another room. There was a refrigerator in front of the adjoined room door. We could hear conversations (normal speaking voice), alarm clocks, phones

Cold and sticky
The first room had no heat and a bad smell....the room was warmer but the floor has not been washed in a great while, it was actually sticky...but we were tired and the beds were comfortable but for 150 a night unexceptable

The first room I had smelled badly of old cigarette smoke,the staff was gracious enough to try to give me another room unfortunately the key wouldn’t open the door (2tries) so the third room was clean to the eye but when I went to shower and picked up the towel on the edge of the tub a roach ran out from under it.The was a lot of noisy foot traffic outside my room till late in the evening,when I went outside in the morning there was a gentleman sitting on a walker outside my door smoking.For some reason there seemed to be quite a few people in wheel chairs and walkers in that section of the property,and when I went to the office in the morning (third room key wouldn’t work)the police were in front of the hotel.
The one positive I will say is that the staff were polite and helpful,hopefully they can find a better place of employment

The motel was a dump all rooms smelled like cigarette smoke. Changed rooms 2 times. Limited bedding outdated. The staff was very nice and willing to help though. The bathroom door fell off the hinges when I tried to close it. It definitely wasn’t worth what we paid for the night.

It was supposed to be a beginning to a great weekend and it ended up being a horrible overnight stay. We entered our room to find a cockroach running across the floor. A room that was supposed to be non-smoking smelled of cigarettes. A queen size bed had two small pillows and when we stopped at the service desk to ask for two additional pillows we were handed a pile of linens to put in pillow cases to uses pillows because the attendant could not get to that closet for lack of a key. Between midnight and 3:00 there was screaming, obscenities, and blaring car noises which the attendant was aware of yeah continued for those 2 hours. If you're looking for a short stay away from home stay away from here because this is neither a clean, comfortable, or relaxing atmosphere. And for $200 a night when you're supposed to have all the above amenities and also lack the microwave refrigerator and just basic coffee maker and soap then you know there are major problems.

AC had dirt on it. Freezer was frozen. Could not keep anything in freezer. No coffee pot in room. No breakfast offered. But IHOP was nearby.

Although the front desk person was very kind and friendly, the rest of my stay, just wasn’t anything that made me want to come back in the future. Noise from outside, noise from other tenants, a cockroach, and on the morning of checkout housekeeping, came in before 11 AM and almost caught me in bed. This place is a dive and cheap, if you expect more than you should go somewhere else.

I had 5 rooms for my group. Two were decent 3 were disgustingly dirty bathtubs were terrible.. only 1 washcloth per room and service desk didn't have anymore to give to me. Friendly check in lady ! Ac unit heat did not work in 1 room .Grossly overpriced!!

I didnt expect much and I was still let down ; the walls were dirty and stained, the floor had crumbs everywhere and burn stains, the comforter had burned holes on it, and there was spiders everywhere. It looked like nobody had cleaned the room in a long time. There was train tracks at the back and it kepr waking us up and the rooms were not soundproof at all.

The front desk staff were so lovely but that was about the only redeeming quality. The whole room smelled like cigarettes and I came home and had to wash everything in my suitcase because it all smelled when I got home. There was hairs in the shower when we first got there. The area didn’t seem very safe.

I checked in to a smell of cigar smoke and mildew. Over five days saw maid once at the other end of the hotel and got toilet paper. No cleaning. In the end i had cleared the smell. When i found a bag of about fifty unused condoms in a bag under the chair cushion, i realized what that funky mildew smell was. Great location, hotel is a bad dream. Front desk folks are nice but the rest continues to be a nightmare. This is the last resort, think about sleeping in your car..

Dislikes: Our room had about 10 flies when we got there, burn marks on shower tub ledge, smelled of ammonia, toilet was not cleaned well, sink faucet sprayed obnoxiously when turned on, appliances not cleaned well, didnt trust to use their towels,
Likes: hot water and good shower pressure, mattresses without bed bugs, sheets clean, was safe but sketchy, lots of security cameras,
Its a motel 6 so we didn't expect much. Our expectations were low, it was somewhere to rest our heads and feet after visiting Salem MA.

Room was smelly from pets and cig smoke. when we checked in. there was no other vacancies anywhere due to a college Home Coming. we needed to Febreze the whole room to make it tolerable. We mentioned it while we were checking out and front desk worker like sorry for your stay issues but i cannot do anything for you. Also where we parked our car was a big sign saying they were not responsible for any cars getting broke into. Like they have had an issue before Needles to say we will never stay at Motel 6 again..... Especially in Tewksbury Mass.

The bed wasn't comfortable, and the tub was dirty. The bedding had holes in it. A bad musty smell in the room. On our day of checkout we found a bug (roach I think) crawling on the wall. The neighbors were noisy, though that is not a fault of the motel itself - however they were blaring music until 7 in the morning.
The woman at the front desk was wonderful however, very sweet and welcoming. Our card stopped working after one night and she was quick to fix it for us. Super helpful.

We asked for a non smoking room, it reeked of cigarettes. There was ashes in the bathroom, the door was open when I got there and there was blood spatter on the floor, sink and top of the bathroom mirror. There was also male fluids on the nightstand. -19172 out of 10 DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

We requested a non-smoking room and our room smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke. We asked for another room but was told nothing else was available and they cannot keep guests from smoking in non-smoking rooms. Were able to change to another room the second night but this one had an incredibly strong lemony chemical smell. Staff was not concerned with our problems, am trying to obtain a refund through the corporate headquarters. Other guests who booked a room because we were there and going to a family function had mold, cockroaches and cigarette smells in their room. I believe they were going to contact the local board of health. Would never think of staying in another Motel 6 due to this experience.

This motel is just NASTY!!
It is old and run down.. The room floor was dirty, the bathroom shower looked like somebody punched a whole through it and repaired it with flex tape.. There is no coffee maker provided in the rooms, no travel size shampoo & conditioner, only one facecloth provided for 2 people.. The other questionable guests/residents hanging outside everywhere.. The absolute worst is there are DOG FECES EVERYWHERE!!
You could not walk ANYWHERE without watching where you walked, to avoid stepping in it... It was disgusting!!
We would NEVER stay here again, and certainly not refer anyone to stay at this motel.. It's just AWFUL!!!

Not comfortable, but better than a mini tornado
I ended up having to stay there because of a mini tornado/ disaster that hit our my town. I was displaced from my homd and motel 6 wax the only close motel I could find. Though I am grateful they had a room available- all the rooms are supposed to be non smoking. There was such a heavy smell of smoke when entering both the bed room and bathroom. It lingered for all 5 nights I was there, and stayed in my blanket and clothes. The bathroom was not as clean as it could be.The phone was broken. Even though there is an Ihop next door the motel did not provide any kind of contiental breakfast, decaf coffee, milk beverages, or snacks gor convenience. The towels are extremely small, rough and cheap looking. There was only enough towels snd soap in the room for 1 small person, I had to ask several times to get more. One front desk person named Jackie was polite and helped me with my room stay and changing my key cards. Though when I called back to ask for a late check out on my last evening a gentleman (His name was either Ed or Oscar) was very rude abd started arguing about the time, even though I was told 12pm was a nirmal checlout time. The temperature of the shower water was warm at best- not hot. So basically I for a room stay that cost me over 700$ plus taxes for 5 nights and 4 days. I got a box that smell like cigarettes and perfume, with electricity, a warm shower, a microwave and a mini fridge. Compared to tornado conditions- it was tolerable, but I'm not going back soon.

We got to the hotel and had to wait 20 minutes in the lobby before the desk clerk showed up to check us in. The bed in the room was old and unbearably uncomfortable. The tub did not drain well and I had we had to stand in dirty water while showering. On top of that there were people partying in the parking lot making all kinds of noise. It was difficult getting to sleep. At 4:15 am the fire alarm went off. When we got outside, there were several groups of people outside in the parking lot drinking from coolers and whooping it up. On top of that, the hotel told another guest, who had not preregistered, that any rooms available are $200 per night. Quite the money grab it seems to me.

The sink was cracked. The tub was stained, there were many fruit flies which i had to swat. We were initally given a room at the back of the building on the second floor where ther was much debris on the ground, stairs and balcony. I went back and asked to be moved to the ground level where the parking lot was better lit and not so much debris. The staff were accommodating.

The room had a lot of fruit flies.
The bathtub had so many stains from people putting the cigarettes on it. Which is not the motels fault, it's the people that stay in the rooms. They just don't care about other peoples property.
The room I had gotten before was really nice. I will be definitely going back.

Run down and tired building, sketchy guests
Run down dump. Place had trash all over the parking lot. The bottom row of the rooms that were adjacent to us were all addicts, blaring music, strung out, openly smoking weed. Stared us down as we entered our unit, made us feel very uncomfortable.
This place is old and run down. The shower was disgusting.
We ended up packing up and leaving. Our loss. Hopefully your gain if you read this.

the rooms smelled of tobacco despite being a no smoking motel. The door safety latch was broken. The tub had no plug. We had our dog, but the dog bag dispenser was empty and broken. However, the staff was very friendly and apologetic about the situation.

It's a clean, convenient property. Plenty of nearby dining. Staff is outstanding. Room is basic, no amenities. Second floor is smoker friendly. There is mild smoke smell on first floor.

The place looked nice by daylight but at night it seemed to be crawling with druggies who partied all night. I woke up several times to the sound of shouting and vomiting. The toilet was unstable and rocked, the sheets were not clean, and there was old food in the fridge. We were creeped out all night and barely slept

The worst motel at Lowell MA
This motel is the worst place to stay. The bed sheet was never changed and I find baby hairs all over the bad. I call to complaint about it, they change the room for me and the room have AC is not working at all. The room was so hot, humid and wet all the time. Highly not recommended.

Not sure I'd stay here again
Ok stay here. Had to deal other guests talking extremely loud from 2am until 630am on one night. Another morning the lawn care service the hotel uses started cutting grass at 6am, waking myself and my kids up. Smell of marijuana on several occasions while staying.
The morning of our check out saw atleast one of not two mice run out from under I e bed to underneath the other bed.
Told front desk of all of these issues the day of them happening or the next morning.
Concerning the noise was told next time we should call the front desk as it is manned 24/7. Front desk personal were great and very friendly and helpful.

This is the worst place I have ever stayed at!! I'm appalled that this is even listed as an option on Expedia. This place needs to be shut down! Unfortunately I couldn't go anywhere else since all of the neighboring hotels were booked due to a 7000 people conference i was attending. Our room hadn't been cleaned from the previous guest. There was hair in the bedding and it looked as if someone shaved their pubic hair over the toliet before we came. There was old rotting food in the fridge. Plus the light above the toilet was out. Only one vent on the ac worked and the floors were dirty and sticky. We asked the cleaning person to clean our room, never came. We went to the office numerous times to complain and no one would assist us. We even asked for a broom to clean our own room and were told if im not back in 10 minutes then we dont have one....guess who never showed up. The towels and washrags were covered in hair. I mean COVERED, hair salons dont even have hair like that on towels after a haircut. We brought them to the office and they took them and told us they didnt have anymore towels. After 2 nights we still didn't have towels. The manager wouldn't talk to us. I called corporate twice and was told it would take 5 days to talk to escalation team, I only had two remaining days. Then called Expedia, Expedia then told me that they would call so then the office gave us a towel and washrag to share. Other people from the conference were there too and many of them had problems

They have a bed bugs heavily and I had to call the headquarters and the board of health to get my money back the place is closing because they have so many bed bugs they're kicking the people out in a week or two but they are not telling them why they are being kicked out so the hotel is going to let them take this stuff with all of bed bugs so they could carry the bed bugs or whatever they go the customers

A stay you'll never forget.. but wish you did.
When the restaurants around there tell you to stay locked in your room after dark??My daughter and I where traveling from Missouri to here for the Future Doctors of America Medical Congress @ the Tsonga Center and booked a hotel late...this was the closest option available. When we got there the room they gave us was full.( I mean walls, tub, and beds)covered in knats and the a/c didn't work. We went right back to the office and requested a new room...which they where reluctant to give but I insisted. The next room was better, but the conjoined room and the room on the other side had a very powerful " distinct " smell.and our a/c didn'twork excepton fan mode..we told the front desk and they said they'd send maintenance..no one showed.now mind you these are no smoking rooms ..of any kind. The management gave us one bottle of water one toothbrush, one tiny set of shampoo and conditioner and 3 towels for me, my sister, and my daughter for tues- sat night...they wouldn't send fresh towels / finally had to go to them and they only let us have 4 more until we left...would clean the room or take the old towels. I didn't expect the Hilton..or even Drury Inn.. but when I had to hall our trash to thier dumsters out back, after it sitting there all day attracting bugs.. can I give negative stars?

We were initially offered a smoking room (did not know those actually still exist) with some apology of sort, we were switched next day to a non-smoking room, which still reeked of smoke, there was actually cigarette smoke trickling into the room from the vents. extremely dirty (human hair, mouse feces, leftovers from previous guests, cobwebs, plain dirt in the corners). Avoid at all costs

I'm sorry. I was very disappointed. We arrived late (I called in advance to notify) and there were no cups in the room. Need to take meds at bedtime. Went to office for cups and a man with a pit bull are in there. Asked for towels several times to only receive a limited amount. The place resembled a homeless shelter.

My room was non-smoking room but it reeked of cigarettes. When I requested a new room, the other room smelled worse. I had no where else to stay, so I remained in the original room.
The motel seems to not have proper ventilation as all my of belongings smelled like cigarettes.
The lady at the front desk was extremely helpful with me throughout my stay.
I would not recommend a stay if not absolutely necessary.

The night we arrived the room smelled like an outhouse, my husband went to front desk and he was handed a can of air freshener; didn’t work so we slept with our noses in our shirts. The next morning we was moved to a room with no working A/C. I will never stay at a Motel 6 again, it was horrible.
