The motel was very clean, staff friendly & helpful.
First time I stayed on the street side and I slept a total of 2hours due to the noise. Better insulation on street side would help.

There was a shooting outside my room the night I stayed. Woke up to cops trying to get inside a room just down the hall. In the morning heard what I can assume was a usual complaining about bedbugs. Will never be back.

The manager threatened to call the police on me for asking for some common courtesy with the pressure washer outside my door early in the am. Was staying for work the manager needs to have more respect for his guest…I had no hot water for two days in my room

What if it was your family that needed an hour?
Everything was perfect until today. I'm not sure why the front desk had to be so rude, short, and uncompromising with my boyfriend this last morning. We wanted to stay but i was running late with our payment. Now we hadn't paid late and i actually pay online well before checkout every day we were there so it's not like we are problematic guests. Quite the opposite actually, as we clean up trash and things when i walk my service dog. But this morning the lady at the front desk talked to my boyfriend like he was beneath her. As if she couldn't stand him and wouldn't even let him finish a sentence. I do understand why policies are in place, but I've worked in the customer service industry more than 10 years, and policy is a written guideline and when you have good people in your establishment and a little bit of life gets in their way, i as a rep for whoever i worked for, i would show a little bit of understanding and compassion for the situation. That guideline can be adjusted and i would have paid online for today by 12p. One hour after check out. That's it. But no, this person had my bf and my service dog put out and they are still out waiting for me over paying late by an hour. Unbelievable. That's the thanks we get for helping keep their place clean and paying before time all the days prior. But honestly, i didn't expect anything less. That's how all these hotels out here treat people that don't show up with a car and carry a backpack not a purse.

The location is perfect and they don't charge a deposit, the front staff is great. The property is not in the best condition and lots of homeless around so just be careful but value wise, solid.

Check-in time was 3pm. We got there after 4pm yet our room wasn’t ready. There were no toiletries in the bathroom. When mentioned at check-out, they said we had to ask for it. They didn’t tell us that at check-in. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

I had requested a room on the first floor. I entered those notes in my reservation when I booked online and I had called a week before and spoke to the manager who said he can add it to the notes. Well we were on the second level meaning I had to carry a crib upstairs which I was trying to avoid. My complaint is that I did everything I was suppose to do on my end but the hotel manager didn’t do his. The room itself was OK. Needs to be updated. There were permanent stains on walls, tub and sheets. Staff was friendly. The young man that checked me in was kind and friendly. He apologized and even showed me the screen where the “notes” should have been. The parking lot is spacious and the pool is small but none the less refreshing. Didn’t really see homeless people hanging around during the day. Maybe one or two our entire stay which is to be expected in a big city. Overall I would stay again. The price is decent and you get what you pay for.

Loud, unsafe, derelict, unfriendly
Total trash. Stay elsewhere, anywhere.
Rooms are just a few feet from the actual busy roadway with no barrier other than a narrow strip of grass.
Room itself was falling apart from neglect and was filthy. A layer of grime could be felt over everything. Shower was low pressure and squealed loudly during use.
The door to the outside (that basically opens straight out onto the street) was rickety, missing basic mouldings, and had open gaps to the outside around the entire door.
The amount of noise was unbelievable. The walls and door let in every bit of street sound. Zero soundproofing. Truly awful. I’m a heavy sleeper and got no sleep whatsoever.
Front desk staff promised to move me to the parking lot-side of the building where they said it was quieter, but that I should stay in my current (road-side) room and wait for them to call after checking other guests in. No call, no knock, no nothing. When I went back to the front desk an hour later they said the last room had just been given away, and became hostile when asked why they hadn’t called me as promised.
I would have felt safer, gotten a better sleep, and dealt with friendlier people if I had just slept in my car or under a bridge.

Not my first choice
Chose this motel because we were traveling with our dogs. That is the only reason I would have chosen it. The floor felt dirty and gritty. It needed a lot of work too. Very soft mattresses. However the AC worked well. The staff was friendly, as were they police who showed up at least twice a day for the 2 days that were were there. :/

We originallycjose to stay here because of the Spring Training rates..yours was the most affordable..the place we were at wanted about $400 for just the one day..I t was less than half that here..We have stayed at other Motel 6's in past but we were surprised - to say the least with this one! Upon pulling into property I noticed how clean everything was..I mean everything!walkways..parking lot..our room was SPOTLESS! Also I forgot to add in the front desk is AMAZING! We met Jonathan that evening and then the next morning I met Lydia..I can't begin to explain how extremely genuine she is ..a true professional..we've stayed at alot of hotel/ motels over the past couple of years and let me say have seen it all..you guys have a definite keeper! It is because of the staff here and overall caring of ones business that we are still here as this was going to originally be a one night stay.. thankyou!

Worst service ever.
I checked in, I handed the gentleman behind the counter my card,he just grabbed it.rudely.
I went to the room, noticed in the middle of the night, the toilet didn't flush, I had to go to work early.,
I went to take a shower, I saw roaches coming up through the shower drain.
When I checked out I mentioned this but all he did was say oh.,and take my room key.
This is the rudest that I have ever been treated, when I ask if they ever comped rooms he looked at me like I was joking.
I stay there a lot, I don't joke about that.

Very disappointed with my stay
Room was not very clean I had to go get a broom an dust pan from maid. Door did not close completely The shower water came out Luke worm an very slow. I really thought being in Scottsdale an what I paid it would be better taken off

Location was good. Room smelled like smoke even though it is a non-smoking room. The road in front of the motel has very loud cars and motorcycles throughout the night. Shady people hanging around the parking lot. As a solo traveler, stay somewhere else. If you have a car, it's a little bit safer but would not stay here again.

Motel 6 was close to the road and it was too noisy throughout the night. Dirty laundry out in the opening and trash. In the rooms, bed was rough and the sink faucet was awful water spraying when you turn it on.

When we arrived, there were four police vehicles dealing with an issue outside the parking area of the hotel. Lot of interesting activities that occur behind the hotel. I noticed police monitored the parking lot throughout the night. The smell of smoke and pot could be smelled; everywhere. The hot/cold water for the shower/tub were mixed up.

A lot of cleaning going on here for a Motel 6. Yesterday they actually were washing the building and all the air conditioners & walkways. My test is always to take a wet paper cloth and wipe the floor to see how much dirt is there. There was no trace of dirt on my floor. Most other hotels fail this test miserably. The window sills and curtains were also clean.
It does have a loud street in front of it. Rooms in the back are far more quieter. All in all- not a bad stay if you have to take the dog!

The counter guy was nice but the rooms were dirty. They gave me a smoking room when I asked for non it was disgusting. The towels were filthy and there were people hangout all over. Not a good vibe kinda scary.

$170! I’ve been doing solo cross country trip many times but this was terrible experience. If it cheap place, maybe… but almost $200! They don’t have anything to offer! No coffee maker, microwave or frigi. Loud cars noises all night long terrible! I feel like scammed!

Never Again!!
I have stayed at many " Motel 6s" in my years of traveling. They are convenient when traveling with pets. They have always been clean and safe.
This one was no more then a "flop house". It was dirty. There were no top sheets on the beds. The towels were yellow and smelly. We needed to be in that area for night and did not have time to look for another place. I took the dogs to a dog park because it was not an area that I wanted to be walking my dogs in the night time or early morning.
We found we were going to have to stay another night. We found another hotel at once.
I have used "Hotel.com" for years to book my travel plans. I am now have second thoughts about using them.

Urine smelling bed
2 night stay. We arrived a couple hours after check-in and ended up having to wait 40 mins for our room to be cleaned. Unloaded our things and left for a late dinner. Later we returned and got ready for bed and noticed a strong urine smell coming from the bed closest to the window. Since it was late we waited until the morning to notify the front desk about the bed. We slept on the other bed. In the morning, we notified the front desk and the young lady told us to call around 1pm for a room change. We called at 1pm and a young man told us to come back to the room so the mattress could be changed out. We requested a room change but they were booked. We came back to the room and the lady at the front desk told us that maintenance requests ended at 11am and I informed her of what the young lady told us that morning. Her response was, "Well she told you wrong." Fortunately, she was able to get one of the maintenance men to change out the mattress. He was rude but still did it. Did not like all the miscommunication at first but we were glad we were able to get a new mattress.

Room: Clean and comfortable. Nothing special.
Property: As we arrived there were many peiole standing outside in various areas of the property and it was already past midnight. We then realized some of them were literally smoking meth while others were working female prostitutes. I have never ever stayed at a hotel which appeared as crack motels do on tv.
*Still, I must stress that the room was clean and comfortable and quiet. We had a good night's sleep and the check-in was easy*

The bed was super comfortable and relaxing, there was a QT right across the street which was extremely convenient and the 202 was right down the road providing lots of traffic but considering the fact it was a Saturday night, it wasn’t all that bad just a little loud.

OK for one night
For a quick over night trip it was fine, but more than one night might be a stretch. Rooms were clean but very small. We were expecting a queen bed and got a double...made for quite a cozy night.

It was very expensive, very loud, (used earplugs and slept okay) the room had a very strong, synthetic perfume cleaning chemical smell. It could have been cleaner.
The staff were very friendly though and we liked the diner next door. The beds were comfortable.

No-frills but got the job done
The motel 6 was definitely a budget motel. However, the beds were good and the shower had good water pressure. They were accommodating for our request to be on the 1st floor as we traveled with my 82 year old grandma and had us next to the ice and vending machines. Overall sufficient and decent for the price.

AWFUL.
We checked in and parked in back. On our way up to our room, there were scads of people just standing around the stairways and walkways smoking, vaping, loitering. We couldn't make it to our room easily because there were policemen on the balcony handling a domestic violence issue. Our room ended up being so tiny with vinyl flooring. The traffic noise was crazy loud inside our room because it was right on the main street. I felt unsafe. We pulled down the covers to find there was no top sheet. There was a fitted sheet with a thin wool-ish blanket directly on top with no sheet. There was a sheet on top of the blanket to make it look nice and tidy, but no sheet under the scratchy blanket. We couldn't stay there. It was so sketchy. The hotel lady was kind and let us out of our two-night stay, but we still have not received the refund SIX DAYS LATER. Ugh, I don't want to deal with this.

Don’t do it
This place was rough- at both check in and check out the lobby smelled like someone poured out patchouli oil on everything.
Sketchy people hanging out in the adjacent parking lots and riding their bikes around in the hotel parking lot.
When first entering the lobby you’re greeted with a sign about human trafficking- a noble thing to try and stop, but unnerving when your girlfriend is there.
The room was gross. Old soap that was partially open and falling out of the bag as a powder. Sticky stuff on the soap and shampoo. Hair and stains in the shower. Random holes poked into the walls.
The noise was awful- our room was over Scottsdale rd and you have planes flying overhead all night.
This was what I expect when I have to go to a $40 motel, not a $170 one.
Will not be back. Would not recommend- just sleep in your car if you have to.

Bed bugs and roaches
Will woken up in the middle of the night because bed bugs were biting us there was roaches all over the place some wearing a sacks we ended up going to work the whole day and didn't come back till the night decided not to stay another night yet we paid over $200 to stay there for two days and because I didn't bring it to the attention the people there didn't want to give me at least 30% of what I paid back because we checked out because of the way it was condition so we were not very happy I'm sure it's not always like that but the people there just didn't seem to care like it was a normal thing to them

The rooms are clean and nice, but we felt unsafe in that place. It is the worst location of scottsdale.
