Amount so many positive things for us what make this trip extra special was the fact the front desk staff members were very nice. Beyond their duty they ran around to find me a playpen for my baby, extra towels and sheets for my extra guess wasn't an issue to provide neither. The pool was super nice and warm, breakfast options was ok i wish they offer a waffle machine or pancakes machine. The rooms was clean and comfortable

The room was very dated. The electric stove burners were old and did not seem to be usable as they sat precariously on top of the stove. The sink had no screened insert to stop anything from going down to the compactor. The coffee ‘station’ consisted of an old, little hot water machine for lack of a better description. Towards the end of our stay, the toilet would not always fill for a flush. The breakfast was hit or miss with English muffins and French toast sticks too hard to eat one day and repeat foods most days.
We spent as little time at the hotel as possible.

We stayed here Christmas week. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. Veronica at the front desk was a pleasure. The room was nice and spacious. The location is convenient to lots of shopping and dining options.

We had 4 of us staying in a 1 bedroom suite. The facility was very clean and the staff was super nice. The bathroom sink faucet needed a repair to regulate the temperature, and for some reason the shower was super loud from the water pressure. Breakfast was pre-made and on time. Although we didn't care for the waffles the selection of other items was good.

First of all the staff was so nice and pleasant it felt like family. They spoke every time and they gave us recommendations where to eat. The room was spacious and clean. My wife and I were very comfortable. We added Marriot on our list of hotels.

Tara Parker is a gem!
We were greated by Tara Parker, an amazing soul. She worked quickly and with a ton of enthusiasm to get us into our room that was not quite ready. Although there was no rush and we were happy to wait, she insisted and chatted candidly while we stoodby. It was a very interactive experience that quite usually, isn't so. Unbeknownst to Tara, my family was tired, hungry and overly ready to settle in for the day after working to pack our house up and prepare for the long drive to our new location. Her help was instrumental in getting us that respit and allowing us to recharge. Im so happy she was the face that greeted us, and so very satisfied with our stay!

Was always a good stay with Resisence Inn. Second time in Residence Inn and its sofa bed is queen size and comfortable. The food in this one needs some improvement though. Will stay again.

The only issue we had was we were told there was a weight limit of 25 pounds for pets. We had to find boarding at the last minute for our dog because she is over 25 pounds. EVERY SINGLE DOG staying at your hotel this weekend was well over 25 pounds. Just a little more than frustrating to find out we could've brought our girl after i spent$500 to board her instead. We will not be using your hotel again for this reason and this reason alone. .

The front desk staff was GREAT! On the other hand, housekeeping SUCKS! Our bathroom was NOT clean at all. Thankfully, I always bring cleaning supplies, but it was so nasty I had to leave to buy more. I reported it on day 1, day 2, day 3, and they eventually made it on day 4. The front desk associate named Erick did his best to accommodate us and our stay a little more comfortable

They didn't even have us in their system. I had reserved and paid for the room through Hotels.com. We finally get to our room. Turn on the TV and nothing. It took 3 calls and 2.5 hours for the maintenance man to show up. The room had a kitchen which was a super nice feature, along with dishes, etc., a microwave, and a sink and stove. Oh my gosh, the bed was HORRIBLE. How old was that thing!? I have never slept on such a crappy, lumpy, LOUD bed. We hurt all over when we woke up. Then we check out, get home and I check my bank account like normal and I see the hotel has put two charges on my debit card! I paid for it through hotels.com! They said it was a "hold" charge. All I know is that hold better come off soon. This was supposed to be a romantic night for my husband and me. Yeah, right. We will never stay there again. We can handle the tv not working for a few hours but the bed and 'hold' items and the issues checking in, we will not be back.

We read a pretty bad review just prior to arriving and panicked a little but were very relieved to see that the review was wildly off-base. The hotel at large was clean and nice, the staff was awesome - very friendly and helpful - and the room was clean and comfortable, other than being a bit clammy (needs a dehumidifier maybe?). I’m really picky and weird about hotels, and I felt entirely comfortable staying here and would stay again.

It was wonderful from the minute we walked in the door. The water coming out of the shower was so hard, it hurt! There was no way to tone it down a bit. Other than that, the room was spacious, clean, and quiet.

I had family in town and we decided to stay at this property. I absolutely had a great time. However I will say that the people that clean the rooms ARE NOT doing a good job. There was a bag of pretzels found on the floor between my bed and night stand, and the shower curtain reeked of urine. I took a few photos of it. My daughter also go stuck on the elevator which for any mother is petrifying! I would definitely love to stay again but there needs to be some work done.

Super comfy night's stay
The front desk staff was so pleasant. I was very appreciative that I was allowed to check in to our room early. The construction was not an issue for us at all. The beds were some of the most comfortable of any hotel that I have stayed at in the past couple years.

The staff were friendly; the hotel is utterly old and dirty. very disappointing for Marriott brand. Understand they were in the process of remodeling; I didn't see any remodeling; the room we had was dank and in need of updating. There was a barking dog all night; the shower had great pressure; the tub was so old it felt like it was going to fall through the floor.

This place had so many things I've never experienced at an extended stay. Although the pictures attached to this property are inaccurate. One picture shows a full size range in the rooms. There is not one in the room, so picture should be removed. The breakfast was subpar, I've had better at lower quality hotels. There was not a non pork option for the meats. It's been a trend for a while now. A lot of people no longer eat pork. There should be an alternate meat offered. Otherwise, I would recommend a stay here.

Great place for all and great customer support
This is a very comfortable hotel for solo travelers, two travelers, or any size family. The breakfast is the morning is great. The location is awesome. The service at the hotel is top notch. Tara was very professional and informed me of the renovations going on. She has a great personality, attitude, and infectious smile. She pays attention to the customer's needs at the hotel and strives to delivery top notch services to all customers.

The common areas were very nice as well as the outside areas and parking. The staff was outstanding. However, even though they were under a renovation we were first put into a room on the floor they said was complete and there was a lot of issues with the kitchen area as well as doors not being about to close. We then got moved to a first floor room and that had numerous issues from the bathroom door not being able to close to little amenities in the kitchen. We stayed over Christmas and the outside temp was abnormally low but our room was freezing five out of the six nights and days. We had to sleep with clothes on and have terrible colds from the experience. Talked to the manager about it but nothing could be done which is not acceptable. Once again staff was all outstanding.

There was confusion about the number of rooms reserved and i found out recently I was charged for 3 rooms when we only reserved 2. We had to change rooms after checking in due to no A/C. There were obvious drug deals going down in the parking lot out FRONT of the hotel. We had small children with us. NOT GOOD!!

Everything was excellent. Our flight was delayed and we got in at 2am. The lady at the desk was very kind to add a late check in and we didn't have to ask. The only issue was the lack of ice machines. I asked a staff member where they were and she went back to the kitchen to retrieve a small 4oz glass of ice. I still would recommend!!

The shower curtain rod was broken, we thought we were getting a queen bed but received a double bed. Our room was located next to a very noisy air conditioner that kept us up all night. The bathroom sink and toilet seat were not functioning properly. While things appeared clean, upon closer inspection they weren’t. The breakfast area tables were not being cleaned regularly and with Covid still being an issue I would have expected someone to be regularly disinfecting the area. The desk attendants were great the first night… the next few nights there didn’t appear to be anyone there. The one time they were there the desk attendant claimed to have just finished her shift and since no one else had showed up she was allowing guest to take items from the hospitality section ( drinks, food etc.) which normally are required to be purchased for free!

Overall my stay was good, I stay for 2 weeks. The first few days, the room had a strange smell. But when I mentioned it they went out of their way to change my room right away. A really big positive was that the maintenance guy saw that I like to use the pool but it was cold and he turned the heat up for the length of my stay. That was very much appreciated. Second room I stayed in was very pleasant and updated. I enjoyed the pool table room and the fire pits outside

Don't trust the pictures.
I guess I'll start at the beginning. The hallways are 80+ degrees which is almost unbearable for someone like me who has asthma. We walked into our room and immediately smelled like chlorine. The cabinet knobs were either loose or on the verge of falling off. There was dirt on bathroom door and on the walls, and on door to the hotel room. The cabinets were damaged in the kitchenette area. There were cob webs in our bathroom, mold and mildew in the bathtub. Mold growing on the wallpaper where it was separating from the wall. There was a stain on the comforter. We lifted up the couch cushion to push it back since it was sliding, and it looked like there was blood on the sleeper sofa, but what a relief...it was only some strangers melted red food...like thats any better. The only positive thing I could say about this hotel is the beds are comfy, and their breakfast sandwiches are good. We left a day early and took the loss of no refund for the day. It was worth the loss. Will never stay at this hotel again.

We are living in the Residence Inn while we close on our new home in the area. The 2 bedroom room we are in did not have working A/C for the 1st 4 days of our stay. The maintenance man kept coming to "work on it" but all he did was tinker with the vents and the thermostat repeatedly. We told him the unit is broken and needs to be fixed or replaced. We asked to move to another room but no other 2 bedrooms were available. Finally someone else brought us a fan on day 3 and then on day 4 the unit was replaced with another used unit which still did not work well. On day 5, they put in a new unit but did not replace the thermostat that goes with the new unit so the A/C still did not cool properly. When they finally came back and put in the new thermostat our A/C FINALLY began cooling properly. We went almost a week in a hot room with the bedroom reaching over 80 degrees at night. The manager Brent did not offer to compensate our stay. The first week was terrible in this hotel due to the incompetence of the head maintenance person who for 2 days came and said "It's just so hot outside the A/C can not keep up" when it was clearly broken. It was completely busted when they took it out days later. Additionally, the carpets feels dirty. The kitchen floor is badly stained. The dishwasher is damaged and the kitchen was poorly stocked with only 2 forks and 2 plates. The room is fairly quiet on the 5th floor and the breakfast is better than other hotels during covid.

The staff was extremely friendly which made up for some of the hotel's shortcomings. The exterior door we used to enter didn't want to open at times. Our room's door handle only worked by lifting the handle up versus down & pushing it down would bind the lock for a moment. The room had an odd odor - my girls thought it was nail polish remover and that summed it up well for me. The A/C wouldn't go below 70 & the room was stuffy as a result.
Breakfast was so/so but the girl stocking the items was very friendly.

Definitely a great stay
Super easy check in!! Brett at the front desk qas the best!!! Made sure everything went smoothly and even upgraded us!! I thought i booked the biggest room but apparently i didnt and brett made sure we got the room we needed. The hotel had everything, indoor pool, basketball court, work out room, sitting area with grills, and a meeting area.. couldnt of had a better experience!!

What I did not like about the property was, the rooms where old and not kept up properly. I had a one bedroom suit room 400 it looked like a cheap motel room, with old furniture the kitchen was a not finished and the bathroom door was missing a handle. For the price of a room a night here this is unacceptable and disappointing. I will never spend my money here again and I would advise others to do the same.

Went with my husband for an overnight stay we had our service dog with us. The woman behind the counter was extremely rude said we couldn’t have my service dog there even though they except dogs. She charged my CC $200 additional for the Service Dog. Then the room was dirty holes in the carpet the bathtubs had a black greasy ring around it. There was no food like stated at all.
For the cost of the one night here I could’ve stayed a week in AC. Will never stay here again

Great location pay attention to your bill
The hotel location is easily accessible and close to ALOT of stores and restaurants (just about anything needed). The rooms were good and the staff was nice. I had am issue with my reservation and billing from the hotel. I chose the option to pay at the hotel. After driving 10 hours to get to VA and the hotel, I was told that for the arrival day they did not have the 1bedroom 2 bed suite that I reserved due to a 'government extension' and I would have to stay at another hotel or a smaller room (not accommodating my family) for 1night and then could come back go the next day. This was very inconvient as we had to pack our things, check out the hotel by 11, find things to do (with all of our luggage in the car while we waited for staff from the Residence Inn to let us know that they had a room available which was not until about 3 p.m) Also the hotel billed my credit card $610 on the night i hadnt even stayed there! (found this out from my credit card company when i went the next day to check in) I spoke with management and this was to have beenn resolved. After returning home I realized this was not the case. Not only was the $610 still pending on my card the hotel charged me an additional $600 more! I have contacted my credit card company, the hotel & mgt and am still waiting on this to be resolved.

The bathroom shower gets all flooded when someone takes shower. the handheld shower has no where to hang. the breakfast was bad. the wall papers are coming off. the outside grass in vey dirty with couple of shopping carts and some other trash items on it. the pool and fitness center is closed due to the covid-19 but they let us use the next door hotel swimming pool and other amenities but thats a pain because you have to walk out in the cold with your little kids to go use them which I refuse second time to my kids when they ask to go again.

Stayed here for a week with my family of 6, and our dog while we were visiting family nearby. Very disappointed with this hotel. Could have been partly due to COVID, but the service was terrible, and the price for all of the amenities (NONE of which were available), was not justified. No pool, no basketball court, no fitness center, no outdoor seating area! The "breakfast" was just a cold sandwich. They were "out" of yogurt, muffins, or anything else they said would be available when I called. I had to find staff members to ask for clean towels when I needed them (multiple days). Had to call numerous times to get someone to come vacuum the entryway (no cleaning service due to COVID). All of this, but the price was still the same. I feel like I paid for a nice hotel with lots of amenities, and received the bare minimum. Will not be back.

Bad representation of Marriotts Name
Two hour before my check in from out of town I received an email instead of a phone call with a threatening statement that my reservation would be canceled because my card was being charged at 9am that morning about it didn’t go through. Well my had to be canceled because of personal reasons and why are you charging my card and I’m not there because you have a full house when my reservation says my card will not be charged until I get to the hotel. When I talked to the front desk they lied stated that it was in fine print when it wasn’t I will include that in this statement. So that did not sit well with me,When I entered the hotel room it did not smell fresh the walls the fridge the furniture was beat up I went to the bathroom and it still had the previous guest fesses still on the toilet even though the corona virus is out the shower had pink mold bad caulk jobs, the water did not get hot I call front desk the manager said some one would come one one never came to the room . The room was handicapped when I did not ask for a handicapped room they put me in what they wanted to for $280 a night. I understood everything being closed in the hotel but the appearance of the building need a lot of work in the hallways of the hotel in entryway ways the wallpaper was pealing because of dampness behind it mold running down the walls and in the ceiling. I don’t understand how Marriott passed this property with an inspection because of the upkeep of it there are to many issues.

Staff was not polite and there was no transparency on the outdoor grill usage. Another thing was our room had all types of stains on the furniture and carpeted area for $159 a night and we stayed 3 days, things should be in tip top shape when you get a suite room. I mean during COVID peoples rooms and the appearance of the room should be the last things on my mind

I believe the hotel was nice , the room was a lot better then I expected . It was slightly dirty when checking in, found gloves and bottle caps under our bed . The air conditioning wasnt working but they had someone on it fast . Over all it was okay for a nice quick family stay
