Clean and comfortable
Room was very clean and comfortable. We arrived on a Friday afternoon and they gave us wristbands for a couple free cocktails early (before 7 pm). We got settled in our room and went for our relaxing free cocktail. There were girls also walking around with some small snacks which again was a treat. Everyone we encountered was pleasant and seemed to enjoy their job. Would definitely stay there again.

I love this resort! The marina, the restaurant and the beach bar with nightly entertainment is awesome. Our issue was with our hotel room. It had a sour smell after a couple of tries to correct, we got a new room, which was perfect.

The front desk was very pleasant upon arrival. The room wreaked of pet urine. Actually, the whole third floor smelled like urine getting off the elevator. The shower had to be run for 15 minutes before hot water. Such a disappointment since we have stayed there in years past and we’re very pleased.

We had a great time! Everyone was very nice… the food was excellent as it was the service. Music and a special happy hour on Friday was the best. Had the fortune to meet Will and Jose. Definitely we are coming back!

Overpriced for Accommodations.
Accommodations were overpriced for value. Hotel offerred veteran discount, but because I utilized Hotes.com for reservations, no discount could be applied.
Accommodations were definitely outdated with minimal amenities offered.

Wonderful hotel
Room was very spacious and clean,the staff was friendly and checkin was fast. We booked a queen suite on the 3rd floor and loved the balcony. We would definitely stay here again!

Paradise!!!
We only stay one night, but it was totally work it. The Hotel is really cute, it has been updated, it's fresh and modern. Location was amazing, it consist of the 3 hotel locations and the restaurants, which were great, food was great, live music.
The only downsize it can be loud, but we were so tired, we didn't mind. Definetly at great geataway, we will be back for a little longer stay

Love the restaurant love the bars love the staff. Hotel front desk was empty a lot. However, and their defense it was for or 5:00 a.m. they could have been preparing for breakfast but I went down twice and couldn't find anybody. Otherwise the location is great the property looks great the hotel was very clean I'll be back.

Secluded & Quaint Local Resort
A great, somewhat quaint resort next to the water. Seems like it was recently upgraded as many things looked new (I even thought I smelled fresh paint). Plenty of dining options available on property and nearby as well. We enjoyed our stay and will come back again!

Loved everything being close by,we could walk to breakfast or to the tiki bar. The happy hour we didn't like, understaffed, the wait staff only wanted to help you if you were eating, and with only one bartender it was a long wait to get a drink, we left after the first round because of the wait.

We had my daughters wedding there, it was perfect & the staff was so helpful & curtious. We couldn't had asked forva better day. Except the rain. Lol but the accommodations was very helpful! Thank you & the food was excellent!

Hidden Gem
We decided to take an over-nighter, being as Capt Hiram's is only 90 miles South of us. We enjoyed it so much, we decided to stay an extra day. The Front Desk Staff, especially Katie and Jackson, were friendly and accommodating, with Katie arranging matters so that we would not even have to change rooms. We had a gorgeous room with a balcony overlooking the pool. The room was very clean and suited our needs perfectly. Minor complaint: The water pressure in the shower was low, but manageable. The property is immense, and while parts are undergoing renovations, you would not be aware unless told. The property extends to the ICW (Indian River) with opportunities for boating, fishing, kayaking, and paddle boarding available on site (we kayaked to the Spoil Islands both days). There is also a restaurant and several bars on the premises, so you would not really need to leave the property. We wilol certainly be returning.

I loved the view from the 2nd floor by the pool. We would drive in a circle to park by food and entertainment. Everything was right there. Prices on food a little high but was all good

Great kids pool, fun arcade games that my kids 7-10 loved, nightly life music on the ocean with great food, great service, great and fun local brews as well as blended kiddie cocktails at Hirams on the beach. Clean rooms, great friendly staff, and great location to explore the region. We encountered at least 7 staff members that went above and beyond. We have stayed at resorts with 4 fold the price tag with lesser quality and service. I hope to return with family and friends!

Overall stay was ok. Room was clean, no maid service between 1sr and 2nd day. Biggest complaints is a weird smell in the room that did not go away and barely any water pressure in the shower. The smell was the biggest issue. We would stay there again but would ask to move if it smelled like that again.

Average hotel forvthe price.
VERY LOUD. CAN HEAR EVERYTHING FROM THE NEARBY ROOMS. Including people making a racket at 2:00AM. Couldn't get back to sleep.
NO breakfast. Only small item's that they overcharge for.
All in all, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, as there are a lot more around thatvare better, for less money.

I loved everything about my stay at Captain Hiram's. The only thing that didnt make sense was in the Grab N Go section. There was cereal, but no milk. I figured there would be free breakfast like most hotels, but there wasn't.

Overall Great Night
The resort itself was very nice. We stayed in the main building. Rooms were huge. Employees were helpful and friendly. I wasn’t prepared for the beach, bars and restaurants to be across the street. Not terrible just surprised.

The room was small for the price of this resort. The bathroom was very small, with no room to put our toiletries.
The only thing we liked about this resort was the convenience of the sandbars.
No GYM on site which was VERY disappointing as my husband, and I worked out diligently.

Overall it was a great weekend. It was convenient that there was boat slips available and a boat ramp just down the road. I feel like the boat slip on top of the cost of the room it was a bit pricey. The room was dirty despite waiting over an hour for it to be "cleaned" we found urine on the base of the toilet and a cup filled with water and cigarette butts on the balcony. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The dining is limited they boast about having 2 restaurants on property which is true but they have the same menu with the exception of 4-5 dinner entree options. Again overall it was a good stay but I don't think I'd stay there again.

Funniest Place around
FUN - this is the place for fun. They let you park your boat/jetski on site if needed. The Ramp is 1/4 mile away. The bar at Capitan Hyrams is AWESOME, and there are like 8 other bars in walking distance.

I must say that Capt Hirams had a rebirth! After a disappointing few years of staying there ( for convenience sake), we promised not to stay again. This year ( an annual family getaway) we heard that the property had gone through renovations and decided to give it one more chance. What a surprise! Freshly decorated rooms with tasteful design, a beautiful lobby and everything was clean! They really did a great job!

Liked everything about the property. Room was clean and modern and really liked having a patio.
Bed was extreamly comfortable.
Had lunch at the Restaurant on property and the fish sandwich was so good.
Took the Dolphin/ Manatee boat tour and we had a great adventure and saw many Manatee and dolphins.
The outside beach bar was so mu h fun with the live music and we really enjoyed the karaoke night.
I especially liked the coffee machine that made me the best lattes every morning.
Everyone here on property from the front desk to bartenders andcyes especially the locals are so friendly and happy. This is extremely refreshing and a must mention.
Looking forward to staying here again

Went thru Expedia for the first night, but wanted to stay a second night. We got a much better rate just by talking with deck agent directly…

We didn’t get any sleep due to the partying, parents and their screaming children. Next door in the staff was nice enough, but unable to control several rooms that were partying/screaming in the hallways and broke the elevator. Children unattended, due to intoxicated parents

Asked about drink vouchers that were stated online. Desk person said multiple times we don’t give/have those. It was it on Expedia and I’ve got them here in past. That was disappointing. Charged more than rate per Expedia. Said if damage, we will see if ends up being quoted price. Good hotel that I can bring boat to.

The room was nice. Everything looked very nice. The beds were very high. We had to use a upside-down trash can so my older mom could get in the bed. And we came out of room to see alot of trades working on the place. Kinda flet out if the way. There was some construction trash left in our room in the dresser. It was a nice place but maybe not ready for the public . The restaurant was very nice. Good food and service.

Restaurants are perfectly located on the property. Great amenities like bicycles, paddle boards and kayaks. A short Walk to Earls bar and beautiful pool. Such a gem of a place!

Don't go in Blackfin and you will enjoy!
The only things I didn't care for was the bartender's attitude in the Blackfin Bar & Grill and the empty vending machines. The rest of the staff was delightful and accommodating.

Fun time
We were visiting relatives that live in Sebastian. Our stay was quite pleasant. The location was excellent. Near our family, the beach, shopping and restaurants. We could have spent days at the resort but they were close to our family, the beach, shopping and restaurants. We will be back.

I have enjoyed having dinner in the past at this location so when we decided to go stay for a few days we thought of them first. I was very disappointed in the front desk staff and lack of knowledge and information about the resort. They just handed a pile of papers and let me go. Could not tell me a place to watch a sports game in the area

Over rated Hotel at best , Resort use loosely!
I tried to stay at this property twice now. Once was in covid. and we couldn't get into to any of the three clubs they owned. Hotel is expensive and much to do about nothing. The staff is rude and no helpful. This time we had a event Togo to. We arrived early and ask if possibly to get a room early. The man said sure give me your info. and we will txt you. He never texted and we had to change in the car. When we did go to check in they wanted $30. more for the room. I had my receipt with me saying no this is with taxes and fees. we canceled the room and drove back to Ft. Lauderdale 2 1/2 hrs. Never again!!

A little underwhelmed with this "resort". Rooms were very basic, beds and pillows were awful. At check in they tell you as a guest you receive 15% off both of their on-site restaraunts- you do not. Also both restraunts were not good- Sandbar was a very basic bar food place, very nice outdoor atmosphere, they also had live music - good place to drink only. We went to the BlackFin for breakfast which was also very basic and all the waitresses looked miserable, no smiling- very to the point. Bike rentals are available on site- but only for adults. Wasn't a family friendly resort.

Such a great (brief) visit we had here! Exceeded all expectations for this property. Very very comfortable, low key, "mini-resort" style. My wife and I had a blast. So many nice facilities and eating / bar options right on property. Families or couples will love their time here. Hope to return visit soon.

Happy times in Hirams.
Stayed here loads of times and it never disappoints. Weekends can be a bit noisy due to events at the beachfront bar etc. But that’s just the luck of the draw.

$265 for reg room w/2 queen beds. No soap, shampoo, conditioner or lotion. I mean no soap to wash your hands… REALLY… Most will bring their own shampoo, but soap?

Great place!
Great place. It’s not a 5 star hotel, but not priced like one. However, I have never been greeted and treated as well as they did. Very clean. Very convenient. Good food and drinks. Everyone from the front desk to the armed security were super friendly. It really feels like a locally owned and operated business. The staff treats you as if they own the place. I will definitely look no where else when in this area.
