Alonzo was the man who checked us in and he was fabulous! So helpful. We were there with our two daughters and their families and he made sure we were all in rooms near each other , we really appreciated his helpfulness.

It was good. Elevator was scary covered in blankets and tape … toilet had ring around it inside. Bed was comfortable & ok. Breakfast was good. Hotel was nice overall and service was efficient and pleasant.

This property is very clean love the room I recommend this hotel, it is the first one I have been to in Mass that is clean, the breakfast was very good, the room I had was very nice and I loved that it is quiet and has no bad smell at all. I was surprised by how clean and well maintained. Very friendly staff

Alonzo was a credit to Hampton Inn, he was kind and went out of his way. I was so grateful to actually sleep at a hotel. And having a supermarket just a couple mins walk was really handy to grab supplies. They also have some affordable food options/ snacks at the hotel. Great place

Bad Form
The hotel was nice enough for a one night stay. There is lots around the hotel to meet the needs of any traveler. What angers me is that their "FREE WIFI" comes with strings attached. In order to get it yo have to sign up for Hampton's rewards program and give them all kinds of personal data. As Captain Hook would say, "Bad form, Hampton." Dree WIFI is meant to be free.

Easy access from a major road with a grocery store next door and Walmart across the road and lots of restaurants nearby. The guest laundry machines looked brand new and were relatively fast and cleaned the clothes well. Beds were comfortable. Our first floor room was quiet. Maid service was flexible. My husband said the TV was too small and the football game was supposed to be on TV on Thursday night but was not. Plenty of breakfast choices, but the oatmeal was very watery and no brown sugar for the oatmeal. But Raisin Bran was provided, so it all worked out. Loved the water pressure and the hot shower! Close proximity to our relatives and close enough to the Brimfield flea market.

Wouldn't rush to buy this hotel bed
Been there a good number of times. Not sure why I never felt this before, but the bed was horrible, way too loosie goosie and my back was very sore as a result

Atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming, and their days of sightseeing and hiking were rendered relaxing when they returned to the Inn. Excellent breakfasts, both the food choices and the staff were the best!

The property was in wonderful condition.
One of the front desk staff (young woman) was reluctant to provide me with an extra pillow I needed due to a medical condition but an older man with a very trim beard intervened and delivered the extra pillow to my room which I very much appreciated.

Room was decent, comfortable, clean.
I requested towels from room service twice and both times they failed to deliver. Had to go down and ask someone at the desk.
Homeless people out front asking for change.
Overall, the hotel was OK. They just seemed understaffed and the area that they’re operating in..it is what it is.

Front desk very short, felt dismissive almost. Elevator and halls dirty. Did not see a cleaning crew my entire stay. Room smelled as if someone smoked in it. Bathroom, not cleaned thoroughly. Found a good amount of hair on the floor and shower. Property can be of use of some updating.

This is the fourth Hampton Inn I have stayed at, the others were in Kansas City, Colorado Springs, Nanuet, NY and all of them including this one were fantastic. The Chicopee/Springfield Hampton Inn was clean, the breakfasts were awesome, the staff were super friendly, the rooms impeccably clean, including the bathrooms. The beds were comfy and the hotel overall was quiet, clean, and smoke free! Wanna thank the staff at Chicopee Hampton Inn for an amazing three night stay. Thanks so much!

The only issue we had was a very cold draft coming into the room from the window or heater. We had to keep the room temp up to 76 to keep warm.

Fine stay, comfortable enough for this part of the state. Only complaint was that I checked in late at night, and the front desk said breakfast was open until 10am in the morning. Got there at 9:07, and it was all gone and put away. So, what a disappointment that was. Otherwise, just an average uneventful stay.

Staff was responsive and friendly. The person on duty at 9 p.m. handled a reservation glitch (Expedia's fault) and moved us to a second room when the bathroom sink faucet did not work.

Conveniently located just off the I-90,and near large grocery stores, a Starbucks and other useful businesses.
Surround area is quiet and safe.
Main issue was the whole hotel was over-heated, and the central temperature control in our room was disconnected. We had to turn on the window a/c unit full blast all night to get things cool enough to sleep.

The ladies in the front were very nice and sweet. There was one lady who stands out. The Latin lady was not ver understanding and not so sweet as the rest of the staff. There was an incident involving a wheel chair and her lack of apathy was just very sour.
The hotel elevator had a Floor Wet sign hanging on the rail From Friday to Sunday. Rooms were decent... but our toilet in room 319 was HOT i mean steamy hot. Was a fun surprise when you had to handle your biz. Other then that there was one lady who was pleasant and understanding. Genesis was a gem.

Everything was great with my say other than the fact that I am missing a bag of brand, new toiletries, and stuff that I had purchased the evening before, and it has mysteriously disappeared. I know it was left in my room I called multiple times, and they said housekeeping did not see it. So I guess it just walked away!

The people were fine, there were no gluten-free oatmeal, the paint was damaged, a piece of molding was missing in the bathroom, the refrigerator wasn’t cold, all in all, it was disappointing, and I wouldn’t stay there again.

The bed was comfortable and it was a quiet night sleep. The breakfast buffet was top notch. Our room was very dated and the bathroom faucet was installed in such a way that the water spout was too close to the edge of the sink.

The accommodation was comfy with 2 queen beds that is standard. The breakfast area was big enough for everyone to get a table. The facility does not have an on-site restaurant that was easily addressed by many choices for eating across the main road. It was convenient to have the hotel located off 1/4 mile off a highway. As long as you are willing to drive there are many options for eating and shopping.

When I called Hampton before booking to make there was an operating pool, They said yes . I also asked if there was a Hot Tub. I was told yes to both. Well no HoT TUB!!! That was the reason I booked here to use a Hot Tub!! Check in was at 3;00. Tried to check in at 3:30pm HAD NO ROOMS READY !!! Told to check back in an hour and half!!!! I was also told I would get $50.00 off my room because the rooms were not ready. But because I booked thru you I could not get the discount. Expedia would have to give to me!!! So I am asking for you to honor that request and credit my card the $50.00 . Let me know.

I tried paying cash upon arrival. They stated to pay at checkout. Upon check out, the front desk started complaining that they dont take cash only credit cards, which is new on me. Then it took them 20 minutes to get change. They acted like it was beyond them to accept cash. Not very happy

The receptionist was very helpful in obtaining a room when we arrived. Rooms were not ready because cleaning was taking place. She also helped me to connect to WIFI and also took time to get new batteries for our remote. We couldn’t turn the tv on. I think her name was Genisus (something close to that)

Great option for Mount Holyoke parents
I’ve stayed at this hotel at least 6 times because it is relatively convenient to Mount Holyoke College, where my daughter is a student. I’ve always been very happy with it. Twice I wasn’t able to get a room here and stayed at other hotels in the are. I vastly prefer this one for location, comfort, and service.

The only minor complaint is the TV remote was painfully slow, and there is no Channel guide so it takes 10 mins just to see what might be on- one channel at a time

I absolutely love staying here, it is centrally located to the places i visit & the breakfast set up was amazing, wonderful selection. I also got to try the keyless entry which was great! I will definitely be staying here more often in the future.
