I've stayed here many times in the past, and it is rapidly declining in service. My family and I stayed over the Holidays and the service was awful, the management ineffective, and just overall not a great experience.
I had two rooms. I went to my 2nd room on the 2nd day to grab it to get ready for a later dinner, I walked into the room and there was a cleaning lady using my bathroom and asked, frantically, why I was in my room. I told her I need the bag in the bathroom and she asked for a few min to "finish cleaning the bathroom," the ENTIRE room was cleaned hours before. I walked to the other room and grabbed my kids, we walked back into the room and the cleaning lady was frantically spraying leaner and wiping the bathroom down.
Lomg story short-ish, someone removed my bag from the bathroom, thought no one was occupying the room (I checked in the day before), used my bathroom as her own personal one, complained to Management about it, took 2 days of my following up WITH THEM about it to get my bag back. When they returned it, everything was out of the bag like they rifled through it. Didn't apologize, no one called to follow up. Just absolutely ridiculous customer service.
THIS IS A 2 STAR HOTEL AT 5 STAR PRICES. Stay somewhere else.

Windy location but great access to downtown with nice views of NYC so if that matters make sure the room type being selected has access to river views as not all do. Check-in went smoothly but check-out took forever. Lots of staff hanging around but only 1 manning the computers. As for cleanliness the glass cups were dirty and there were questionable stains on the robe, couch and floor. Otherwise nice and new looking hotel.

Great location, friendly staff, great service.
But we found a few signs that the room hasn't been cleaned well by the housekeeping personnel (e.g. used q-tip on the bathroom floor, few seeds around the master bed).
Would definitely stay here again, but this time would consider checking the room first.

Excellent location near the 911 Memorial and One World Trade Center. Lots to do in the area. Great shopping a short walk from the hotel. Staff were attentive and nice from the moment we arrived. They could have easy valet the car and charged me a $120/ night for parking, instead they tell me where the parking they use is around the corner and save me a ton. The next day, when I went to use the gym, I was pleasantly surprised to see 3 pelotons in addition to multiple treadmills, ellipticals and rowers. I returned to my clean room and found that they had brought a doggie bed and toy for the little guy. Everyone was super helpful and our stay couldn’t have been better.

Loved the property. Only negative was dining around area closes around 9/9:30 pm.
Spent a lot of time going to Times Square, Broadway… easy in on subway, but best to get back by 10pm if taking subway.

It appeared that several rather sharp pins were used to secure the carpet. I couldn't see it, but it stung even when I stepped on it wearing socks. Adults are fine, but in my baby, the soles of his feet bled because of these.
Everything except this was a perfect hotel.

Property itself was great. Had very poor checkin. We arrived separately and front desk wouldn’t allow spouse to checkin without authorization from Expedia. Expedia. It available to help! Expedia needs to fix this for future guests as it is extremely irritating!

The Conrad needs updating. The suites are tired, the beds saggy and uncomfortable and the staff are less than inclined to help if something’s amiss. We were put in a “suite” with an unusable sitting area (one weird designer office chair in the middle of a floor space) and a shower designed for the disabled which flooded the bathroom floor each time - the hotel refused to move us to a regular room when we pointed this out. No complimentary water in the room (seriously?) oh and it takes 45 minutes to get your car..? That’s a little bonkers and very disappointing at $500 per night.

Very late check in. We were given late checkout of 1:30 which compensated. No TV or phone for a day. Restaurant extremely understaffed with all managers trying to help. I suspect they were having a walkout or it is just very poor planning. One hour wait for breakfast. If it wasn't a rainy day I would have gone elsewhere.

I really loved my stay at the Conrad Hotel.

We stayed for 4 nights with a 4 year old in tow and the hotel had all the comforts and great for our family stay. The attention to detail with the staff was incredible and truly was worthy of the five star rating.

Did not get water view, as requested. Luggage was misplaced. Neither key nor replacement key would open door and lock system had to be serviced. Toilet ran and had to be serviced. Check-in guy was snooty.

The check-in staff is “next level” Excellent. Amena, Gina, and Richie are stars. The Director of Guest Services is an excellent leader. This team knows how to welcome guests and provide a memorable guest experience. Taylor, the restaurant manager, is as hospitable as they come.

Perfect for family weekend
Lovely, lovely family weekend. Super clean and spacious, great staff, perfect location, awesome views. Loved the water bottles with filtered water and a slice of cake in the room for my husband's birthday. Could not be happier with this hotel, and we travel a lot.

Overall the hotel was good, relatively new but of course everything was cheaply made so the hotel quickly loosing its appeal. The elevators were making strange noises and just overall you could tell wear and tear. Reception was very unaccommodating, and quite rude at times. First, if you call it takes a few tries to actually reach someone, then the connection is so bad that you can’t hear them, leaving a message to anyone on the property is a waste of time, no one will get back to you (including managers). So, we will give this hotel “good” but there are other better choices in the area.

Stayed here in June with my wife and 5 year old son. We loved the hotel. The location is great, if the hustle and bustle of midtown is too much, than this place is ideal. There’s a ferry terminal across the street to NJ, you have a shopping mall across the street. One world trade and 9/11 memorial 5 mins walk.
The atrium is really impressive. Rooms are modern and clean. Great staff too.
My only gripes is the the rooftop bar could do with serving small nibbles and snacks.
Breakfast is ridiculously pricey, if it wasn’t for my Hilton honours room credit, i probably wouldn’t have eaten. Could easily cost a family $100. Didn’t try dinner, so can’t comment.
Chambers street/Fulton street subway stations 10 mins walk, you can get to midtown/Central Park in 15-20 mins

Do you need to spend this much for a nyc hotel? No. Will you be happy you did? Yes. The Conrad provides true 5 star service and ammenities like turn down service with extra towels and lavender sleep balm, in room water filter, and slippers. But the true gem here is the size and set-up of rooms. If you need space and a separate quiet work area, this is your spot. The neighborhood is quiet and lovely. Movie theater in hotel was an added bonus for kids!

Conrad Downtown is a modern and clean hotel with a great lobby. Our main complaint is around the set up for someone using a sofa bed in the suite. The furniture in the living area - a very heavy table and arm chair - is ill suited to opening up the bed. While hotel staff moved the furniture when setting up the bed, it was still in the way and the table even had to be set on its side.

High end hotel, nice service( they provided a mini refrigerator and electrical hot water pot to our room). The shower is strong and the best we have ever had. Room is spacious.very close to the World Trade Center memorial and the new oculus．price is little bit high but understand it is New York/lower Manhattan!

I love The Conrad Hotel! Had a wonderful stay in a beautiful river view corner suite. All of the staff were very friendly and courteous. Will definitely be staying again. Location is great as well with access to great restaurants and shopping. The hotel also has a beautiful comfy lobby and great restaurant.

Rooms are comfortable, spacious and beautiful! Steps away from the One World Trade Center, near the Hudson River. Staff was incredibly courteous. All our needs were met with excellence. Thank you.
