It was clean and clearly new, but there were some makor issues that made me need to put the rating down. For starters, after we checked in, we realized our TV was broken and of course my kids unpacked everything, and we had to move rooms. They must not have notified staff because not only did they keep knocking on our door starting at 7am, but they actuwlly opened the door and triee to come in! Thank goodnees we had our stopper up because i was changing! I told the front desk and there response was, "Oh oops, sorry about that". Being woken up earlier than needed during a vacation sucks.

Great Stay at Avid
Our stay was great at this hotel the two times we were there. the check-in process went smoothly and they even remembered us from the first time we stayed there. Rooms very nice. The airport shuttle was also very convenient and easy. Worked out perfectly for both pick-up and drop off. bedding was very comfy and clean, and I liked that the remote was sanitized and placed in plastic for cleanliness. We would stay there again in a heartbeat if in Boston or flying out of Logan.

What I love is that every employed are very respectful and very niece. I stay here every time I come and would say I love especially when you come back from going out and you see your room clean and smells like clean. Will be coming back for sure

This is a very nice hotel. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. I liked the large TV and especially the adjustable heater and A/C unit, which made it easy to keep the room at a comfortable temperature. My only complaint is the location. It was difficult to navigate here by car and I did not feel safe walking outside. I did feel safe inside the hotel, though, and I liked that it was pet friendly. Next time I'll try to use the airport shuttle to get here, rather than drive.

Revere Mass, best little kept secret.
Wonderful property, centralized to almost every location possible. Clean and in our opinion more eco compatible and higher class then other higher class properties in the same area. Overall we were placently pleased.

Great to have airport shuttle and drivers were excellent! Room was decent for a one night stay but the soundproofing wasn't great. Could hear neighbor sneeze! Walking overhead. And the smoke detector was flashing a white light all night! Very annoying! On a positive note, the coffee in lobby was excellent. Front desk was helpful and made great recommendation for delivery food after a long day of travel.Nice that a breakfast to go bag was available for those of us leaving for the airport at 5am.The prepackaged muffins were terrible but cereal, milk, bars and fruit were nice to have and it is a thoughtful touch. Overall, this hotel is adequate for one night. If the soundproofing was better I would stay longer.

My friends and I came for a girls relaxing getaway only to get no sleep and a dirty room and unpleasant no helpful staff… Night one stomping yelling multiple times we got no sleep staff did nothing did not care. Night two stomping yelling banging above us reported it three times nothing was done. We cleaned the bathroom when we got there because there was hair everywhere. I have stayed at avids before but never again. What a disappointing stay

This hotel was the best ive stayed in. The breakfast was great, the rooms and halls were clean and the staff was very helpful. We had Matthew at the front desk all 3 days we were there and he was amazing. When we go back to the area we will for sure book here again. 10/10

We were astounded when we opened the door of our assigned room to find it apparently dirty, unmade, and not ready for new guests.
We selected the avid for its proximity to Logan; however the shuttle options given to us after we had checked in and paid made it impossible to use the service without waking an hour earlier than should have been needed. We were not notified about this before our cancellation deadline. If we had been informed we would have selects another location!
Please let us know what you can do to rectify this so that we may consider staying at an ihg hotel in the future.

The gentleman who checked us in was very professional and accommodating for my Senior parents. Very helpful with parking and food options in the area. The hotel was clean and convenient to Boston Logan. Thanks to all the staff…great visit!

Hotel room was a mess. Workers didn’t want to help with anything. They couldn’t get get us more pillows or anything. They were very angry when we asked. Room was never cleaned in 2 nights we stayed there. Room was very unclean

Perfect.
Our stay was brilliant, staff were really helpful and the location of the hotel was perfect for us, train station into Boston is a 15 minute walk away and the bus stop is located right outside the hotel which we used for a trip into Salem!! Hotel was clean and the room was a good size. Highly recommend.

Drove in and out. The Revere area nightmare to drive with very dangerous round-a-bouts. Hotel odd because no coffee, ice buckets, other normal items in room. Possibly this due to apparent handling of refugees. Otherwise clean rooms.

A pleasant surprise
This was a pleasant surprise. Matthew at the front desk was super friendly and helpful. They had a unique breakfast setup which included flavored syrups for coffee and water. The rooms were clean and comfy.
The nearest T was about a 15 min. Walk but that was our only knock. Would definitely stay here again.

Stay spoiled by bad personnel
THe hotel was fine, newly remodeled, clean and the bed was comfortable. The room was quite small but fine for an overnight.
The problem was with the desk clerk. We did not arrive until 1:30am and she could have not been less interested in helping us check in. The door has an after hours lock and she had to be asked repeatedly to let my husband in after he went to place the parking sticker on the car. She ignored my request to make a purchase from the market after pointedly telling me alcohol could not be sold that late, but there were other items in the market I was interested in purchasing.

Air conditioner rattled like crazy and since windows don’t open that was only choice for air circulation. Early morning finally turned it off but traffic was just as loud. However the place felt clean and bed was comfortable and staff was pleasant.

We arrived in Boston in the evening and needed a place to stay for one night before traveling north. This fit the bill. The rooms are smallish and minimalistic but clean and big enough. Staff were great, there was a dining option we could walk to and the included breakfast had, among other items, premade individual omelets which were tasty.

The free airport shuttle is awesome! The hotel is quite nice and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Very glad to have found this hotel! Going to get some of the included breakfast—will report back on how that is.

Matthew referred us to a great restaurant called Dryft. Excellent food. He was also fun as our person who checked us in.
If we’d thought ahead we would have talked with hotel ahead of time to get the shuttle. We got in around 4:30-5. It took time for shuttle in traffic.

Perfect location. Close to airport. No need for car in Boston there is bus connection to Wonderland and Haystack close to the Hotel. Everyone's very friendly. Direct Airport shuttle a plus. Breakfast is filling. Will stay again if I'm in that area.

It was such a wonderful hotel experience with the cleanliness and comfort however we were disappointed to find out that we couldn’t get the hotel shuttle at 11:40pm to head to the hotel when the website said 4am to midnight. The hotel shuttle was the reason why we booked the room as we needed to return to the airport the next morning.

Not good choice for late travellers coming from West Coast. Expedia description fails to note that free airport shuttle stops running midnight to 4 AM. Our flight landed 12:15 AM so we ended up taking a $30 taxi to get to hotel. Front doors lock at 11pm and no one answered intercom to let us check in but we got someones attention after some minutes by banging on door. AC in room had been cranked down to 64 so room was unpleasently cold when we got in. Room had a mesh privacy shade but no curtains so sunrise lit up the room by 6AM. This meant only a few hour to sleep before it became too bright to continue. Bed mediocre. Overall not the restful break in our travels we had hoped for. Would not stay again.

Fairly clean hotel, but thin walls and we had a neighbor with their TV on quite loud until 1:30am. Stayed for the airport shuttle, which does not start its runs in the morning until 4am, which was not earlier enough for our flight.

Boston airport trip
We took the shuttle to the motel and back to the airport the next day. It was so easy. The motel was great with a large variety for breakfast as well as an easy walk to the beach. Clean and comfortable.

I chose thisnhotel due to the proximity to thr airport and access to the T for downtown. Front desk staff was amazingly helpful with local restaurant recommendations for delivery. (Nicks was amazing!!) Everything was clean and the breakfast was just what we needed.

Super close to the airport…. Clean rooms, free breakfast buffet with many options, 24hr coffee/tea and the one of the best value hotel coffee stations for sure. Would recommend if staying for a few days or traveling to the airport. Free shuttle services to and from the airport as well

Due to the ongoing construction it took over an hour to get the shuttle from the airport to the hotel which was only about 4 miles away. Not the fault of the hotel. The area was very safe to walk in but not well lit.

We enjoyed our stay at the Avid. We were traveling with young kids and the hotel met the needs of our family while in Boston. The rooms and breakfast were basic. If you're looking for a place with friends staff, easy parking, and free parking/wifi/breakfast, this is a good option.

This place was fine for our one night in Boston before flying back home. Very close to the airport, free parking, very comfortable bed, and free breakfast. The walls are pretty thin but most people quieted down by 11:30pm. Staff were also friendly and responsive.

It is a great hotel if you want to be close to the T to get to Boston but the area itself has little to offer. You can see that it is going through some gentrification which will make the area very different in the 5 to 10 years.

The property was very nice. Staff was helpful. Breakfast was a grab and go. Shuttle bus took us to airport to utilize public transit. The train station is .9 miles away, about a 20 min walk which wasn't too far if we didn't use the shuttle.

I loved how clean this place was! They seemed to go the extra mile to make sure things are cleaned how they should be. The room was small, but just what we needed. The breakfast was perfect and packaged to go. Matthew (staff) was super sweet checking us in and answering any questions we had. We also asked about a late checkout and he hooked us up. It was about a mile from the subway which was pretty convenient but having the airport shuttle was perfect.
