Think twice
we checked in and first thing we noticed was the floor by the air conditioner was soaking wet, the room had a musty smell. We were going to a concert, so had to leave and when we came back at 11pm the air wasnt working, told the desk and they had no where to move us. The next morning went to take a shower and there was a roach in the tub and mold on the edge of the tub.
This is not what i expect from Best western plus....very disappointed. The manager did offer compensation, but doesnt take the place of the disappointment.

Side door was propped open late at night. Dog hair on carpets. No water pressure. Could not use hot and cold together, only one at a time in our particular room.

Initial check in was awful. should have been 3 and never was able to check in until 5:30 as employee at desk was extremely rude and nasty to myself and another customer. We were told she was fired the next morning, but who knows. TV didn't work, Tub didn't have a plug. Washer broken and overall cleanliness wasn't great. I will say the assistant manager did what she could.

Nice room
The pictures online lead you to believe the beach was walking distance, not true. It is several miles away. The breakfast was very good. You had to hold the handle down for the toilet to work properly. The bed squeaky. No freezer in the fridge.

Room #321 has constant water leaking from the tub faucet, so much water that humidity level is so high in the actual room that we had to keep the bathroom door shut at all times. The humidity in the bathroom got so high that counters were wet and baseboard fell off the wall. The bathroom sink had little water pressure when fully on. In the room, all the outlets are so loose they are practically falling out of the wall. This room needs serious attention and shouldn’t be rented out again until these issues are fixed.

The bedsheets were not changed, and there was some poop on it.
The shower had mold in it.
The checking clerk blue air into the card holder so she could open it and put the room keys him.
She kept calling me, honey and sweetie, which she should’ve address me as Mr.

Rooms and hall smelled very musty. Pillows were lumpy. Mattress appeared to be well-used. Front desk staff also cleaned rooms. Landscaping couple be improved…needs to be weeded.

Killed a cockroach on the bathroom counter. The bottom seal on the toilet is broken the toilet rocks back and forth and the bathroom smells. The main light in the bathroom was flickering and the second bulb had been removed. The bathroom sink had almost no water flow. Luckly the shower was fine. The luggage cart, one tire was flat. This is not a Best western plus this is a best Western - .also some one had spilled ice cubes in the elevator. I told the single person help about it and that the floor was wet and slippery an hour later when I went down nothing had been done yet. She appeared to be only one on duty and was over whelmed with calls. Poorly managed facility. Room 331 Oct. 21;2023

I absolutely positively was treated with kindness and respect. T was the BEST, she made sure I was comfortable!!!!!!!!!!!!! The stay was good, i had a microwave and fridge in the room!!! I was missing a phone but when i made it known, it was taken care of.
But the phone service and internet sucked, my calls dropped and the internet was unreliable. My curtains had a mildew looking stuff on them and there was a hole in my door. I covered the hole with a sticky note because you could see right through it to the outside.

The first room they placed us, the a/c wasn’t working, but they moved us pretty fast to a working a/c room. Their lobby doesn’t have proper a/c either, but seem like they are working on it. Their breakfast was pretty good, with options and everything was clean and accessible. The Hotel is near the Hwy 95 and will take you everywhere in less than 5-30min, depending where you want to go.

Great location near where we needed to be and close to I95.
Good value comparing it to other hotels in the area. One of the side entry doors could not be shut properly creating a security breach. We have to ask for toilet paper to be replenished.

The bed was lumpy and very hard. There was a pair of dirty socks left in our room, and the tub backed up as soon as I turned the shower on. Not a good stay, and we had booked for 2 days, unfortunately.

The hotel was ok, nothing special. We stayed to go to the Daytona 500 and the rates were ridiculous for the property. I dont understand how they can mark up the property as much as they do and hotel is just average. We had to change rooms the 2nd night due to the ac not working. The breakfast was very minimal and they were out of things. And i heard the people next to us complaining that the night before they along with 2 other rooms asked for towels and they were told they were out. When it is a big event like the 500 i think they need to be better prepared especially for the price we had to pay. This will be a last resort option when we go back.

Carpet was full of white dog hair, never vacuumed, sink, toilet and tub not cleaned. Exterior doors to hotel do not close all the way. Breakfast was awful. Pillow looked like someone had laid on it after bed was made.

Overall stay was pretty great. Only suggestion, would be if it’s a room for sleep of 6, have a bit more towels or the very least big towels for showering. But everything was great, breakfast was good, staff was amazing. Also love that it was pet friendly.

Our room had thick dust on half of the window valance. Room was partially vacuumed, we found a beer bottle cap under a table and pieces of torn plastic. The shower curtain liner was put on wrong so the floor would have been soaked had I not changed it and there was some mold on the bathroom ceiling above the shower.

Comfort and shelter from the storm
Hurricane Nicole! Mandatory evacuation. Luckily, I was able to get a room here. I had everything I needed. The anxiety of the weather impacting my home made me a bit frazzled. The bed was so comfy. I needed that rest. Breakfast was tasty and offered a nice variety. Staff worked overtime with a full house. I will return.

Room was at the end of the hall. Very loud noises all night with people going in and out the doors all night.
The housekeeping was not done. We needed a change of sheets and the maid changed towels. There was nothing said at check in about no daily housekeeping. However, a maid left an envelope for a tip. Why would I tip if no beds were made

Great stay.
Took an hour to check in because the front desk agent used my reservation for someone else. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good. Sausage eggs and all the other standard fare. The general manager seems to care about the guests experience.

This rates below the saying “you get what you pay for “. Stayed here 2 nights August 26-28 for Daytona 400 race. The only good thing about this hotel was Bruce the front desk clerk. He was very pleasant and willing to help. Hotel is in need of a serious upgrade. When I first walked in I saw a handwritten tip envelope from a housekeeper which I thought was very tacky. Mind you not, this housekeeper did not visit our room at all during our two night stay. Our family consists of two adults and one teenager and we were given two bath towels in the room (that did not match each other). My husband went to ask the housekeeper in hall if he could have a few towels and she said she could only spare two. Water smelled like mildew and the shower knob did not work properly. Bed was hard as a rock and the sheets were DAMP!!! Our lamp shade also had spots of mold on it. Carpet needs to go as well. There are sitting chairs throughout the hotel that have had just the seat cushion only replaced (that don’t match). Sitting area by elevators had some of these chairs along with cracked dirty walls and a water fountain with caution tape in it. Just an overall unpleasant experience and would not recommend this place to anyone.

Our stay was wonderful. The front desk woman, Tyisha Davis, was wonderful. I’ve stayed in MANY MANY hotels and she was probably one of the most helpful people I’ve ever dealt with at a front desk. To say she went over and beyond to help me is an understatement. Every hotel should have a Tyisha Davis at the front desk. 👍

My husband and I had to attend a wedding weekend for our nephew. Tyiesha at the front desk was sweet and accommodating. The property was close to all the wedding activities, stores, and the beach. There was a free hot breakfast every morning and a clean room with towels waiting for us in the evening. We bragged that we paid a fraction of what other family members paid in other hotels for a better experience. We’ll definitely visit again.

Our stay was pleasant at the Best Western. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows a dream. Everything was clean and fresh. Breakfast was a nice addition, too. Cell service was a real challenge for my Verizon phone, but that’s not the hotel’s fault of course. But it was the only “issue” I dealt with, having to go outside to use my phone. My family and I would stay at this property again, however, definitely!

Needs a new sign for rooms to be cleaned
The first impression of the hotel was poor. We checked in and went to our room, looked like someone was in there room was not ready went back to front desk and told them they apologized went up a 2nd time to another room the card key didn't work, very frustrating.
The next day we were out all day when we came back to our room was not cleaned. You will like this one when I went to front desk and told the lady, she couldn't wait to tell me did you put the right sign up this happens a lot with our guests. I said your joking thought well than none of the rooms are getting cleaned.
The staff at the front desk are friendly and the manager was very nice.
They need to get the sign issue resolved so customers will not be complaining that their room wasn't cleaned.
I would definitely stay here again once the issue is resolved. They offer a free breakfast which is very good.
and this is a great location.
