So many animals the smell was really bad the carpet in the room was stained and torn, the bathroom fixtures have seen better days , when I went to take a shower there was a cockroach in the tub. Was not even a bed skirt to make the room cozy. The kitchen was empty so if I would have wanted to use it I would have to ask. I didn’t feel safe even walking down the hall lots of guests outside and in hall ways won’t be back.

Hotel staff are wonderful.The location is ideal-near Trader Joe's, Arrowhead Mall, Target, Nordstrom Rack, thrift stores, etc. The room was cozy & quiet. Even though it was the busy holday season I slept well. Kitchenette was great, and I was able to control the room temperature with the AC/heat unit. Nice hiking trail just to the south, the Skunk Creek trail.The only thing I would change was the hot water was not quite hot enough for me.

Great hotel reasonably priced
Really nice hotel, very clean, nice kitchen area. You can get a 'dish set' at front desk, and everything in a bin, and cleaned. Pet-friendly, very convenient location.

Save your back and stay somewhere else
It was ok… nothing fancy. It was really old and the smells from everyone cooking reminded me of the projects. The worst part was the bed and pillows. None of us slept well - it was so uncomfortable.
Other then that, it was clean.

Disgusting Hotel
This place is disgusting. Roaches everywhere to include the bed and towels. I cannot believe this place or Hotels.com charge $109 foe this place. This is a disgusting establishment. I demand a full refund..

Everything was fine. This is an older hotel and it’s showing it’s age. TV very small. Bed was comfortable! Room was quiet.

Liked - Reasonable in price. Pleasant employees.
Disliked - Had to go to front desk for coffee pot (which did not use because dirty), hair dryer, coffee cups and enough bathroom cups for people staying. Also, decided against showering due to time constraints, but had we, the complimentary shampoo left in the bathroom was a used one and had only one little drop in it! Also, for a pet friendly hotel, there were no pet pickup stations, thus piles of dog poop everywhere on your property. We bring our own and pick up our own.

Convenient to where i needed to be and was the lowest price. However, i was disappointed in the room. There was a lack of maintenance on it and this was as bare minimum as you get. I think they get stuff stolen all the time because there was NOTHING you found it a regular hotel/motel except towels and soap. I dont remember even seeing shampoo. No hair dryer, coffee maker, iron, etc. Lastly, bed was as hard as a rock.

Fell short
We had to wait an hour to check in because they were doing some kind of audit we were told. It was 11pm and we just drive 6hours. Wanted ti get my son to bed for his early game the next morning but couldn’t. Also they advertise a breakfast is included and I wouldn’t consider a muffin and granola bar breakfast, and the coffee was bad. I booked for the breakfast so we did t have to leave elsewhere in the morning so that was very disappointing.

What customer service?!
My wife and I needed a place to stay after the concert. Location was close enough. When we arrived we were treated horribly by front desk staff. After I greeted her, she was very argumentative. She definitely made me like I was an inconvenience to her when checking in. Avoid this hotel, take the time to find ANYTHING ELSE

Jenna and Heather (front desk) were awesome! Different kinds of people staying there, some out of town for work, and some who don't have other options. Our room had a smell and the Air hardly worked and made a noise every so often. The hotel was booked so couldn't move to another room.I mentioned it to a front desk worker Joe and he just kinda shrugged his shoulders 😔. Other than that had no issues. They have muffins, oatmeal, breakfast bars, coffee and hot chocolate in the morning.

It's just an Ice Machine!
I had a great visit, the room was clean, the staff was nice and really had a great price. My problem is this: There is no ice maker in the hotel. I had to leave and drive to a convenience store and purchase ice. By the reaction from the front staff - this is not the first time they've heard this complaint. It's three ice makers, some buckets and liners! That is a realistic expectation from a guest at a hotel.

Everything was dated. The breakfast was a real disappointment. Coffee and oatmeal. We are use to a nice spread for breakfast, waffles muffins eggs cereal toast bagels, not coffee and oatmeal. We would not stay here again.

Smelly. Dirty. No coffee/machine unless you asked for it. Hair in the bed. Poorly installed cabinet doors. Beds were one step up from roll-away beds. Popcorn ceiling. Wetness in spots on the carpet. Unprofessional maintenance person. And so stinky!

Expected of a cheap hotel
Selected because it was convenient for a one night stay. Welcoming staff were friendly and the best part of the stay. The room was small but clean. Cheap linens, scratchy toilet paper, tissues, poor mattress, bathtub shower, noisy AC took this down to a 2 star hotel rating.

Kathy at the front seat was amazing! Place was filthy. No kitchen utensils/cups/pans/etc. Shower leaked and dripped all night long. Coffee and snacks in the morning were good. Great location for Padres Spring Training. Creepy that people live there. No housekeeping service to make your bed. Floors were filthy.

Loved the small kitchen
Great place to stay for a short or long stay. The room was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The grab and go breakfast was good. There was coffee, tea, and hot chocolate and muffins. I will stay there again.

Location was ok and only available with those dates in that area. Was a bad decision. Rooms were dark and damaged. Need to request any thing for using the kitchenette from the front desk. Complete location smelled of drug use. Non Smoking room booked however as soon as you entered the room you could tell previous visitors smoked in the room. Overall rating of hotel should be alot lower then was it is now.

Not worth the price
Old and minimal. Chapstick size shampoo and 2 tiny bars of soap. Hard mattress that had a stale smell of cigarette smoke. Kitchen was empty. Not even a glass. Staff was friendly.

Worse hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The room had roaches , the beds were terrible and they could not control the other guest that were staying there as running in the halls and arguing late at night. Absolutely look elsewhere!

Location is nice. Rooms are dated. Hotel smelled off. Room had an odor as well. My son had to shower with a large roach watching him :(. We booked 2 nights, but left after the first. I didn’t complain to the nice staff, I’m sure they would have done their best to make things right.

The condition of our room upon arrival was unacceptable. The room smelled, the carpets were dirty There was food, hair, and dirt on the ground. Under the bed there was trash and empty food containers. The refrigerator was turned off and water had pooled in the drawers. We did not complete our stay and found another hotel. Unfortunately we would not recommend or come back to this hotel.

Was visiting for Son's Graduation, check in time is 3pm but needed to be at graduation around that's time. Explained that to front desk person upon arrival which was 1:30p an person showed lack of empathy for my situation to try and get a room ready fast. Had to wait 45 minutes to get a room which I believe could've been done faster to help me in my time crunch.. also saw a big cockroach squished just outside entrance to hotel which kinda grossed me out...the area is nice though.

My room was so dirty and there was left over hair in the shower, toys in the room from the previous people. I was so uncomfortable but felt like I had no choice but to stay in these conditions. The smell was so horrible throughout this hotel. The microwave, refrigerator were also very dirty.

Never again.
Broken elevator, no ice maker, no maid service, nothing in the kitchen cupboards, not even a cup or a plate. Will place this hotel at the bottom of our list. Felt like we were in a foreign country, but Phoenix is like that in general!

Front desk staff was very nice, but the room smelled like food/ spices. So bad I had to buy glade plug ins. Fridge was off and it smelled bad. Had to wipe counters, fridge and restroom myself with Clorox wipes, they all turned up brown. Stayed on first floor because the elevator wash broken. Entire downstairs. Hallway smelled so bad; like dirty and burned food.

As I went to check in I was told the room I requested was unavailable. They had to give me 2 separate rooms on different floors forcing ny husband to stay in one room with our son while I stayed in another room with my daughter l. The room I stayed in smelled like cigarette when I clearly asked for a nonsmoking room. The elevator did not working making us having to carry our luggage all the way to the 3rd floor. The check in guy was not very friendly. He wasn’t rude but definitely needs training on customer service. The beds were hard and uncomfortable. I won’t be staying here again

At check-in I was told that the king bed I had reserved was not available. All they had was a queen room. When I asked why, the clerk rudely told me that’s just how it was and that I would have to contact Expedia for a rate adjustment since I had booked my room through them.

You rent, what you pay for.
Upon arrival the elevator was out of order and going to be ready within six weeks. This is absolutely outrageous since there’s plenty of money coming for the room rentals. The stairs were gross and unkept. A bucket of hot water, clorox and dawn would but manual labor will certainly do the job. The carpet seemed vacuumed but the interior siding of the carpet had dust bunnies- nasty! When keeping a room for the next guest an absolute cleanliness is required. Management during inspection should never approve room as acceptable or being ready. It isn’t and wasn’t suitable for us.
The next thing was having to pay an additional fees for daily cleaning of our room which we decided not to have done. Other major hotels don’t charge such fees since this service is included with upfront fees.
The next thing we’re the towel service, one was to take dirty towels to front desk for replacements! No bueno! The iron hook came off the wall. The carpet needs steam cleaning. The walls had fingerprints and spot of unknown matter. Disgusting! Most the doors and handles needs some serious wiping down with disinfectant and/or cleaners.

Our AC unit died and we found ourselves in need of a hotel room for the night. We booked online and showed up after 9 PM. They were nice enough, but not overly accommodating. The elevator was broken and we were placed on the third floor. The place smelled damp and like old cigarette smoke. They didn’t seem to care about presentation, since the employees were out front hanging out and the laundry room door was open at the front desk. The bathtub had hair in it, the bathroom ceiling had hair strands stuck on it, there was hair in the bed. The place seem to be freshly painted and the floors were nice. It was okay for a motel/inn, but not what I expected for the price. The breakfast was oatmeal and coffee, no cereal for the kids. They were blowing leaves before 7am. But at least there was air conditioning. I will not be back.

Racist Caucasian manager from Australia
The hotel reeks of homeless people and drug addicts and the hotel rooms are not clean. My first room had a water leak from the toilet for 2 days until they finally moved me. The manager was supposed to contact me but never did. I went to the front desk several times asking for her and when I was checking out I finally met her and she said she called my cell phone but I never got anything because a really concerned manager would leave a voicemail. But my kids said she was the woman at the desk that made a racist remark about their hair bonnet on their heads. And later that day we had to check back in with reservations we made because our house wasn’t ready yet and she had her employee to refused our reservation and lied and said they don’t accept locals renting rooms. That was a lie because I sent someone in there the next day and they gave them a room. The 2 Caucasian women were racist and nasty and I never were mean nor disrespectful the entire time I was there. I’m filing a suit against this place. Also the manager never compensated me but tried to get my 16 year old son to sign my name for something that I had no knowledge of.

Ck in was slow no one at front had to call on house phone took about 20 minutes, room was clean, no breakfast choices , no coffee in lobby, change of towels on request or exchange, i should say, location was convenient, plenty of shopping close by, eateries. Staff was nice whenever you saw in hallways. Smoker guest was asked to leave, very much appreciated.

This is a good spot. The rooms are quiet and you cant hear your neighbors which is nice. Right next to every store and restaurant imaginable. Not a lot of services on site but you can walk to everything pretty easy.

The AC kept blowing our curtains open and since we stayed on the first floor, it was jarring to see the cars and people just walking by. It was also very bright in the morning soon as the sun came out because of this.
I was surprised that there was no USB outlets. Even the Quality Inn down the street has USB outlets. Free wifi was cool but very slow.
Overall, clean and you get what you pay for.
