My Experience at Extended Stay Valley View- Las Ve
The stay was fine but unfortunately I became sick. Instead of checking out on the second, I notified the front desk because of my illness I would be checking out a day early. The lady told me that I would not receive a refund so she would officially check me out the following day. I thought that was unfair because I didn’t ask to get sick. I will never book at an extended stay any more. As soon as I arrived home I did go to urgent care. I do have a prescription for my illness.

The worst stay ever! The room was dirty, it wasn't what I booked. Bed was worse then sleeping on the floor, the air unit was horrible. We found dirty socks in the room and the floor was dirty.

I would not take my dog to stay!
Towels were so badly stained we postponed showering at friends house. The lovely font office asked to bring the towel to them
For exchange! No house keeping during the stay. No chance to change the room. I blame Expedia for this screw up!

Horrible experience
Check in was great. Entry to room, door was difficult (door handle lock is messed up). There was no trash can in the room which was really annoying. Sink and tub was dirty. Tub wouldn't drain properly. And there was huge miscommunication with that crew. Cleaning lady barged in on my wife and i. It was so embarrassing. She said that her paper work showed that the room was vacant already.

You get what you pay for. Breakfast is a muffin with some oatmeal and coffee or teas. Room was ok, bathroom was dirty. There was only a bedsheet and thin blanket for the bed. There was a constant popping noise in the ceiling, staff was aware and said it was due to colder temps affecting the hotel pipes. There was a dying cockroach on the floor too. If you’re trying to avoid paying for an overpriced hotel on the strip that’s within walking distance of the strip, this is your no nonsense hotel.

Good customer service but the room was run down. There was a literal hole in the top of the dresser and a drawer that wouldn’t open. The outlet in the vanity did not work at all, which made styling my hair much harder. The bed was comfortable, and we didn’t have any problems with loud guests, so that was a plus.

Perfect stay

Very noisy, missed out on a couple of hours of sleep every night due noise in the hotel. Made it hard to enjoy my time, and kept me from properly recovering from activities. Will not consider Extended Stay for future trips.

My reservation was for two queen beds with a sofa sleeper. I was given a king bed. I showed my reservation confirmation to the person who checked me in. He contacted his supervisor over the radio to tell her. Her comment was that all we have or she could cancel her stay. Mind you, I’ve 5 hours away from home, so I took it but didn’t even get a partial refund since I paid more for the suite. What a jojje this place is.

Night manager did not know where was my room.we spent at least 30 min to look for room after asking manager three times,he did not locate room.once ine the room no light in bathroom and powder rooms.there was fan between two rooms keep on running all night.I left a shirts in closet and left hotel without checking.I returned next day but manager said not there.I deserve partial refund. There was four bulidings and three were connected but other one was separarte which was our room.unbelievable employee who did not know where was room. you may call me what was the issue.

The room was great. We did notice that the control for the water in the shower was coming away from the wall and that there was something on the door to the bedroom. Overall we enjoyed the room and would stay here again.

First of all , we are disability people and don’t enjoy their service because the manager give us stink attitude after we just asked few question. Also, found out that they didn’t clean it up mornings time after we leave and return in later time. Breakfast was terrible service because they didn’t replace or missing a lot. We don’t appreciate it for our vacation time. We will be not return this place.

Worst extended stay I’ve stayed at
I arrived at 4 PM in the afternoon, and my room was not ready. I waited in the lobby for a while and then I was told I could go to my room. The house cleaning lady was still cleaning the room and basically she just threw some Pine-Sol on the floor and mopped it up. The room smelled horrible. The smell of cigarette was unbearable. I asked if I could be changed to a different room and they said no, that all the rooms were occupied. Don’t ever stay at this hotel if you can help it.

Do not stay here unless it’s your last resort
This has to be your last resort spot if you can’t find a last minute hotel . It smells. Bed is horrible . One of the lights in the bathroom didn’t work . Breakfast sucks! All they give is coffee muffins and oats bar . Never again. Horrible experience

Finishes are ancient and run down. Area is sketchy with lots of crack heads hanging around. Air conditioner is in the living room with a fan in the wall that is supposed to draw in the cold air to the bedroom which did not do the job adequately. Kitchen had no plates or utensils. Dog feces in multiple planters around the property.

Short stay only
Good for 1-2 nights bring your own food or walk down the road to food. Ask for kitchen items so you can eat in the small dining room.
A/C worked, but was very loud and the fan was so loud had to turn it off.
Area the place is located has vagrants wandering around
Breakfast- was coffee, tea and trail mix bars
Check in person was good and quick

A little good, a little not so good
In route to the hotel/motel I was surprised to learn it was further away from Reid airport than what was described in the description. The taxi fare was $29.00. As well I also learned the breakfast is not really a breakfast, but a grab and go, so just a roll or muffin. This was not detailed on the website. The free wifi worked well.
The room had a kitchen, but not utensils in it unless you ask for them. No coffee or tea making materials.
Woman at check-in very friendly and efficient. If you will stay more than one night, go buy a few things, like tea, milk, cup or ask for it.
The area surrounding the place is rich with vagrants and rather shady looking characters, so walk fast when walking to get something to eat and be mindful of walking after dark.

In fairness I can't comment on room quality, etc. We never got that far. Showed up a few minutes after midnight and they were unable to provide us with a room until their audit was completed. That process was going to take 2 HOURS. Since my family, including special needs child, were waiting in the car, exhausted from a cross-country flight with delays I had to move on to another property. Both the desk attendant and her supervisor assured me I would not be charged for the room. Except I was. Been trying for a couple of weeks to get that refunded but the property has been non-responsive to my efforts. STRONGLY discourage you from this property. It may cost less than other national brands but you get what you pay for, or less.

Very much ok for a one night stay. The room itself was a good size and was clean but very noisy faucets and shower. Very short curtain to the shower so the floor needed to be toweled down. I also had a problem with the door to the room and was told that a lot of doors had issues. Overall good though.

The area is not safe. Other guests at this hotel were not guests but living there. The room was not very clean and the linens were not even blankets it was a sheet as a blanket. The staff were nice but very stressed.

The hotel checked us into a already occupied room. When walking up to the hotel room I slid the key and opened the door and the latch lock was on the door luckily. Or I would of walked in on them having dinner. So disappointed

Showed up at 9:45pm To be told that my credit card was declined. After providing receipts and being on Expedia customer services 2 hours i was finally given room. When i had got to room. The room was dirty, there was stuff all over the walls from the kitchen to the bedroom. There was hair on the bed a used bath products in the bathroom. I requested a house cleaner and maintenance to look at the broken fan that went from living room to bedroom. I was told there was no house keeper for people who stayed short stays. The property was absolutely discussing trash and dirty diapers about. Property sits at end of highway where there's homeless people. The property only served a grab and go breakfast. No cereal or milk. A granola bar with nuts and Banana nut muffins. No hot tea available. I end up checking out. Not worth the stay.

Extremely Dirty
I do alot of traveling therefore I stay in a lot of different hotels. This was by far the dirtiest and most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed in. There was tobacco chew spit in the toilet and hair in the shower. The floor looked disgusting and the beds had stains all over the mattresses. This was so bad that I booked a different last minute hotel and left 30 minutes late to stay somewhere else.

The staff was very courteous and helpful but the rooms are not kept or cleaned very well. My dad's room was horrible. Floor's we're filthy bath tub was left with used water in it. The beds need to be replaced. The area is horrible, everyone is smoking weed in the rooms and it's too noisy!

There was no heat or working AC, the room was very cold and there was no comforter on the bed, just a thin blanket with sheets. The floors were dirty and the shower head sprayed everywhere...need Teflon wrap. The walls very thin and other guest were slamming doors and yelling outside all night. On the bright side bed was comfortable and I was very tired from a days drive and managed to sleep about half a night. I wouldn't stay here again.

Room not clean!
Only issue we had , that wasn't clean ! When we unfolded the couch bed for my kids, we found the cover sheets from last people before us , a lot of hair and dirty. I called the front desk and they said, that a housekeeper will get the dirty sheets in the morning, they never did ! We stayed from Saturday until Monday ! Shower tub with hair and dirty, with soap spots! We went to the store and get something to clean the room!

Hotel.com gave different rate from the hotel rate that the first booked was cancelled.

Showed up to be given a room with one bed and a sofa bed for 6 people. Manager told us that we booked throufh expedia and because it was a 3rd party booking that we werent guaranteed a room for this reason. We were forced to find a new place and am appauled that you book a room for 6 people and are told the reservation you booked 3 months prior wasnt available. Manager said we should have called them direct to tell them we needed to sccomidate 6 people? Makes no sense. We woukd have settled for 1 bed and 3 couch beds . Poor service. No compassion and made it clear they werent even paid by expedia for.this room. Leaving us to feel like white trash and beggers. Other people came in to find the same senerio as us. Unbelievable. Alot of the places depend on 3rd parties( expedia. Hotel.com etc ) for their booking and they turn it around on the 3rd party they get alot of.business from. Unfortunate.

The entire sidewalk area on the property is FILTHY with pee stains. There’s a homeless guy beside a window using his crack pipe. The floor IN OUR ROOM hasn’t been mopped!!! The mattress in the bed has springs that obviously has seen its last days. NOT EVEN A COMPLIMENTARY BOTTLE OF WATER was in our room!

Besides the property being pet friendly and at a great location, the room needed attention. The bed mattress/box spring was not firm and comfortable. There were things underneath the bed from previous guest. Bathroom sink clogged. Refrigerator handles on wrong side.

Booked and paid for King bed with Kitchenette, only to be told none available so given 2 double beds on 3rd floor with no lifts. Kitchenette empty, no plates, cups ,cutlery, not even a bin. Beds very old and uncomfortable, rooms very old and dated even though promoted that property full renovated in 2017. Breakfast very simple and couldn't even provide tea bags. Very disappointing not at all as described.

Overbooked…. I was left without a room at 11pm. Area around it was unsafe and the unprofessional desk left me on my own. To her credit (which is minimal) she tried calling the hotel management, but they weren’t answering the phone all evening.

Good decent customer service. Decent sizeable rooms with kitchen. Housekeeping needs to work more on getting rid of odors as smells of rust and metal were suspected in the room. Otherwise, thanks a lot and I am appreciative of staff and service. Everything was fairly decent during this stay as reggae rise up and a visit was happening this weekend.

Great experience but a little hot
I will start with the positives. The Staff was great. I was glad they offered suites with a separate bedroom since I work from "home" and had to work during our stay. The free WiFi never gave me any issues.
The only negative is there is no air conditioner unit in the bedroom (only in other room). Granted we stayed the end of August beginning of September and it was 107 degrees and on the 3rd floor. But having air in the bedrooms are a must. It was super super hot at night without air conditioning or even a ceiling fan. They are renovating some of the rooms and I hope they are addressing this issue.

I didn't like that there was drug addicts rolling around the parking lot at all hours of the day and night homeless people in and out of the area day and night I normally stay there at Extended Stay when I go to Vegas but I'm debating if I ever will stay there again after this experience

Overall stay was scary, just stayed one night. It seems the hotel rents out rooms to the homeless and alot of shady people wandering around. When we were parking our car, there was a guy working on his car that was all torn apart. Also a man was out with his big pitbull dog who was not on a leash. I did not feel safe staying there. The room had a funny odor and bathroom sink water barely ran out of the faucet. I will definitely not stay there again.

The building was in a nice area but there was a lot of unwanted people asking for cigarettes the room had a smell the sink was stoped up the internet did not work we where there with 4 teenagers and 3kids for 5days and 4nights and the front of the down stairs units need to be washed flies where every where in the rooms outside the rooms we rented to room for a wedding. Besides that the stay was fine.

When I went to check in someone was arguing with the front desk about her rent. This is NOT a hotel for family vacations, people just live here. Also, it's a motel, not a hotel as described. The doors are outside. I tried to cancel but the front desk would not allow me to cancel and took my money even though I didn't stay there (with four children).

There was no stay because when I arrived they said they had no room for us. Hotels.com gave me a refund and $25 for a horrible night where I had to spend twice as much just to have somewhere to sleep for the night. Be careful when booking with hotels.com, because the room may not be there when you arrive.

The entire property was dirty, smelly and not taken care of. There seems to be many long term residents. The room looked ransacked. Lights were on. The cabinets all opened and empty. Couch cushions flipped. People were smoking weed in the parking lot. Kids were hanging out in the breeze way at 1am. There were no bath towels and staff would not bring them to the room. A dog was tired up at a room outside abs was barking at us. I'm pretty sure one of the rooms had a prostitute doing business. The clerk seemed high, couldn't operate the checkin software properly. While checking in, somebody called 911 from one of the rooms. This should be a last resort place to stay. Can't feel safe or comfortable at thisplace. I left after about 3 hours.

My family and I stayed at this location for a conference down the street, but will not be staying at this location again. When we first arrived we received a bit of attitude from the woman at the front desk about an early check in, she then asked us to come back at 3pm. We got back at 3:05pm and had to wait another 30 minutes to be able to check into the room. Coming from a long drive from California with the heat we were exhausted and hot. Once we got to the room at first it seemed decently cleaned until I went to move the bed closest to the window and found what looks to be an animals poop? There was a lot of it so we immediately checked the beds and underneath all surfaces to make sure there wasn't anything lurking around that could cause an issue to our trip. Later that night we had issues getting a hold of anyone at the front desk, the phone was no where near connected to any line and there was no way to connect it either. So two of my family members went down to ask for more towels to find one woman with a packed out lobby. They waited until she was available to ask for what we needed; when we went to place food into the microwave it was disgustingly dirty so my mom cleaned it. The parking lot, stairs, and hallways smell like urine in certain areas as well which was off putting. I should have read the reviews before booking, unless it's the last resort I wouldn't recommend this location.

Usually don’t write reviews but If u are looking to stay with family, or even u are normal not a good spot, very dirty, bad smell ( like living with cats and junkies, pot smoking and etc….. rooms were not ready for check in, has bad odor in the rooms as well, very rude staff, no blankets and sheets on the spare beds till after 1:00am and staff was verifying like we were asking the fortune and no blankets still that time. Excuse of been in the washer, friendly and honest Advise stay away.

If you have family, do not stay here. Honestly, do not stay here unless you plan on living here because you can’t afford anyone else. It is filthy, smells like urine, and not safe. I need a quick one night stay for a rest spot for a road trip. This was not a good choice.

We showed up right at check in to be told they were all full and Expedia should have notified us. We called Expedia and the only help they offered was a continual offer that they would cancel our reservation—how is that helpful? Extended stay already effectively cancelled it? We asked if they would help us rebook, talk to the hotel front desk or ask why we weren’t notified, but all they would do is continually offer to cancel the reservation.
We hung up and realized we were in a bad situation with no hotel reservation in vegas for the night and no help from the hotel or Expedia.
Finally after a long conversation, the hotel agreed to call other of their properties for us. They ended up finding an opening at an alternate location on Flamingo. We drove 15 minutes there. They charged us double what we originally booked for on Expedia—i called back the original hotel and they agreed to honor the original price. I think they knew that was the policy, but were trying to see if they could get a little more money, which seems to be a reoccurring theme.
The room itself was adequate. We’re a family of 6, which is why we chose the extended stay. We noticed there were only three pillows total, so went to ask the front desk if we could have a couple more. Absolutely not! So half of us tried to make do with using suitcases and bags as pillows. I had a pain in my neck for days. Honestly wish we’d never chosen extended stay or Expedia with all the drama. Awful!!!!

Orbitz allowed me to book at 12:37 am & hotel cancelled my room when I tried to check in an hour later. Hotel manager was off no help & unapologetic. Hotel authorized refund and Orbitz try to deny my refund because I didn’t check in by midnight (37 minutes before I booked!!!!) now refund of $180 will take 7-10 days. Horrible service.
