They have fridge and stove top but no pots or pan. No silverware, cups or plates either. But what bothered the most is that I jad to sleep with wet hair. They don't provide hair dryer.

Overall was a very enjoyable stay but breakfast was as minimal as I have ever seen, could provide a little more. And room TV's small size is REALLY behind the times, definitely need to upgrade.

Good Stay in Mt. Pleasant
Pros:
-Friendly Front Desk Staff
-Location Near Several Restaurants, easy access to highway into Charleston, walking distance to Waterfront Park
-Affordability
-Pet-Friendly for our floofy boy
Cons:
-Outside door handle on room door was loose
-Room showed some age (worn counter tops)
-Few pillows on the bed, and small (requested two extras at front desk but was told they did not have any extras)

Booked 3 separate rooms for approx 2 weeks. There were roaches in 2 of the rooms including waking up to one in the bed! Also, this reservation and another Extended stay reservation had booking issues 3 separate times in a 2 week period in which I had to be on the phone for several hours to resolve because the hotel was missing the confirmation numbers even though the rooms were paid for.

I can’t give a review of the property because my reservation was given away. My family and I were scrambling at 11 o’clock at night in an unfamiliar area to find other accommodations. The staff offered no explanation and there was no offer to help find other accommodations.

Fair priced!
I enjoyed my stay it was peaceful, the place and rooms has some updating to do but for the price it was ok! They let you know at the desk that cleaning is every 14days so if you need anything you have to bring what you used downstairs to replace it at the front desk. Breakfast is free but it’s to go! I got 1 issue this guy name mark at the front desk was kinda rude but I ignored it I ask him a question and he gave me responses as if I’m suppose to not ask or know the answer already such a jerk he being so rude he didn’t activate my key correctly because My 2nd night stay my key was deactivated I had to come back downstairs and get it solved by someone else on duty.

I won't stay here again
My stay was overnight. The room had a couple of large stains on the floor. The carpeted baseboards were falling off the wall. It smelled like cigarette smoke in the room. The hallway reeked of marijuana. There was an advertised breakfast, which turned out to be coffee with some snack bars. No one was at the counter at check out.

"Smoke Free Hotel"???
For a "smoke free hotel", the place wreaked of cigarette and marijuana smoke, especially in our room. It just smelled horrible. My wife wanted to check out immediately and find another hotel, but we were pressed for time to get ready for my nieces' wedding ceremony. I did not sleep well because of the smell, and we left earlier than planned, just to get away from the smell. Staff was nice, but did not make up for the condition of the room.

The room smells like smoke and I became ill with allergy problems. I requesting another room today. Smoking should not be allowed at the entry way of the building for all guests to have to suffer from inconsiderate people smoking right at the front entrance. I want a refund immediately.

When I checked in to my room I turned the light on and roaches scattered. I was so tired I didn't go downstairs and complain. Throughout the night I kept seeing them when I went to use the restroom. The next morning I told the maintenance guy and he said he could spray the room but that particular room he had to do a heavy spray 2 days earlier. The room also smelt musty and moldy. In a good area and convenient but the rooms were not acceptable. Shanequah at the front desk was really the only bright spot of the trip

Staff was great, however…
We had two rooms, and other family had 3 additional rooms for a local wedding. Everyone in the group complained of the beds being too hard. There was an odd odor in a couple of the rooms. Bring your own shampoo and soap, as theirs is total garbage. Snacks and coffee were OK. Saving grace was that the AC was robust, the fridge cold, and shower head had great flow. I’ve stayed at other ES properties, but this one needs help.
And the best part… my 88 year old mother woke up to cockroaches. Won’t be staying here again.

The room was in need of updates and repair....the bathroom tub and sink was very worn and chipped. The carpet was dirty.....needed shampooing or replaced. Beds were very hard. Towels were very old worn....Site said breakfast but all they had was a coffee bar

Cockroaches and a rude manager
There were 10+ cockroaches in the bathroom when I came back in the evening from being out. The next morning, the manager at the front desk, instead of being apologetic, asked why I didn't move to a different room and argued with me when I suggested it was late and if the cockroaches were in one room they were everywhere in the hotel. They took $25 off my bill, but it didn't make up for the unclean conditions and beligerent staff.

Upon check in, was told there are no dishes,glasses, coffee maker in the room. But are 'available' on request. The hotel clerk was very kind but when I was checking in and she was asking for my information, she asked me to write it down as there was 2 men sitting in the lobby (actually a small.foyer) and she wanted me to feel safe...which had absolutely the opposite effect. The continental breakfast was packaged oatmeal or grits, coffee and very old,dry muffins...oh there were also some stale granola bars! Not worth the money spent...and the refrigerator in the room knocked all night.

I didn't like the fact that I had a fully paid reservation but I could not be checked in due to a system outage so I had to leave and pay for another place to stay however it turned out to be a blessing because that hotel was not acceptable anyways, it looked unsafe as far as what I saw when I pulled up

Could have been a bit cleaner. Had to get dishes from front desk. Super nice front desk staff. Squeeky bed. Trash chute was emptied super early in the morning and sounded like a'truck was coming through the building. Other than that. Nice stay.

We just want to commend the employees that work here! Very clean and well kept room. After a long tiring trip, there's nothing more pleasing than to be greeted with a warm smile and excellent service by the staff. These people probably don't get paid enough for their hard work...give them an increase in pay and let them know they are appreciated!!! Thank you!

Room smelled like fried food. Overwhelming smell. Very uncomfortable beds, felt like waterbed. Someone played laud music in the car till 1am right in fron of our wi dow on main floor. Floors and tub sticky. No conditioner available.

Disappointed Couple
This is our first visit to an Extended Stay Suites. We came to visit SEWE event in Charleston.
The electrical outlets in the Kitchen and bath failed to work. The Shower was pathetic.
Overall, the facility was disappointing to my wife and I.
We don not plan to visit this hotel again.

Just OK
For one night stay couldn't beat price. Would not stay here for longer than two nights. Could use some updating in the room. Some kitchen cabinets need better cleaning. You have to ask for kitchen supplies. They ran out of small shampoo. Convenient area. Bathroom a little tight. Most times there was no one at front desk, so you had to yell out a little to find someone. It served the purpose of my visit.

Room was spacious and clean but in the morning when went to take a shower the handicap shower was broken and water sprayed everywhere. Had to shower with the hose part. It was awful. Front desk said they could not fix. I asked for another room and was told I would have wait til later to see if he had a room. My last morning I found a huge cockroach on the floor. When I checked out he said they were due for spraying soon. When I asked if he would give me a discount because of the shower and cockroach, he said no they don’t do that…

Fine for a night, but would stay more than that.
I always like to start with a positive, so I will say the location is good. Staff is very friendly, and pet friendly. I felt safe in the area especially taking my dog out at night.
Now the not so positive. The electricity in my room was not good! Every time I went to turn on the bathroom light it would blow a fuse. At first I thought the kitchen light in the bathroom light cannot be on at the same time. Definitely not the case! It was the bathroom light in general. I used the flashlight on my phone to shower, get ready for bed, etc since I couldn’t turn on the bathroom light. It was fine for a night, but I wouldn’t stay longer than that.

Truly Pet-friendly hotel
The location is convenient to downtown Charleston and to Mt. Pleasant. The room was clean and the staff was always friendly and helpful. My two small dogs don't often get to travel with me but had to on this spontaneous trip because all kennels were booked for the holiday week. They were completely at ease in the halls, elevator, and lobby. I would stay here again.

Great for our one night stay
Front desk staff, Matthew, was great. Room was great for our need. Was only a one night stay. Kitchen was great though. Full Fridge. Bed is not the most comfortable. Great location as well!

Major termite issue right now
Breakfast - Very limited options - basically just oatmeal, breakfast bars, coffee, and tea
Staff - Friendly and available, though it seems management may need a better system in place for how staff handles bugs (read further)
Wifi - only internet browsing is free. If you want to watch movies/tv on the Internet, you will need to pay extra for more bandwidth.
Cleanliness - Overall the stay started out ok for the first night out of four. On the second night, we were horrified when we noticed bugs falling out of the bathroom fan and crawling into our room at around midnight so we called the front desk. They responded that there was nothing they could do except give me a can of bug spray as they had no other rooms available that night. The first spray they gave me was flea pesticide which you need to vacate when spraying, I went back and got regular bug spray. Spent about 2 hours with this whole ordeal (spraying the bugs and then cleaning up all the bodies so we wouldnt step on them) - it was super inconvenient and interfered with our vacation and sleep.
The next day, we still saw live bugs and asked to be moved to a different room. However, the new room had the same issue! At this point the lady at the front desk said they were termites and are harmless (and normal this time of year). However, since some had been on the bed we didn't feel comfortable. I called hotels.com and told them I was switching hotels and they gave us a refund for 3 out of 4 days.

Someone left a urine sample bottle with a name on it , latex gloves and a bio hazard bag in the drawer, which we found upon arrival. I found this rather disturbing! No one was working at the desk check in , I stood there waiting for over 10 minutes. The only reason I stayed is because all of the other hotels were booked and this was close to downtown Charleston.

The property was infested with bed bugs. I had 21 bites that are becoming infected. Management has not addressed my complaints or even replied to them. Avoid this property at all costs unless you want to experience a nightmare.

Great location. It was nice to be able to go out for a nice walk along the river in the morning. The room itself was good enough - large and clean with a comfortable bed - nothing special. The one disappointing thing was the breakfast. I expected more than oatmeal packets and granola bars.

The bed was supposed to be queen sized but it was smaller. The bed was hard and so were the pillows. They had no computer or printer for guest to print out a boarding pass. Had to go to the library in Charleston for this. Also we’re supposed to have a breakfast. Only had a coffee bar.Anytime I ask the desk for something, the response was we don’t have that here.

We loved the location of this hotel. We were easily able to walk to Cooper River and Patriots Point. Sullivans Island was ~15 minutes away and downtown was ~15 minutes. The room itself was okay. It was quiet and clean. Dishes were not provided until requested and, even then, the set was very basic. Room service only occurred if your booking was longer than a week—our’s was 5 nights so we didn’t get any cleanings at all. The hallway had a distinct fishy odor that never went away when we were there and the “breakfast” was cheap coffee and pre-packaged muffins. However, having the kitchen in the room was nice (although the burners were a bit lopsided) and we appreciated having the laundry facility available. Overall, this is a good choice if you want the kitchen feature and location and don’t mind a few peculiarities of the hotel.

Very dated, no supplies in room , if you need plates or silverware you have to go front desk and ask for them.
Breakfast is a joke, its only coffee and mini muffins.
Showers and toilets are loud, we could hear the room next to us flush the toilet and shower.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
