Evan checked us in. Our reserved room wasn’t ready as former guest was late in leaving. He suggested another room but was a queen instead of a king. The manager asked us to wait while he personally inspected the room. Then Evan checked us in. Room was perfect and very clean. Bed was extremely comfortable.

We had a late flight and arrived to hotel late. Couldn't get in and nobody ar the front desk even though 24 hour check in. Called from phone in there doorway and was told charged extra night for no show even paid in advance. Finally a patron let us in and waited in lobby. We finally didn't get into our room until 6am. It was about 2 to 2 1/2 hours of waiting .I asked for compensation because the manager said she was upstairs trying to keep kids quiet. She supposedly credited my account. Upon checkout, per a different manager,I found out it went back on Expedia not my account. I did get a free night to use within a year, but not sure I want it. It was dirty, we had a broken chair, noisy with screaming man and crying baby, and a smell I am not used to.

They claim breakfast was included. My idea of breakfast is eggs or waffles and assortment of cereals and maybe some yogurt and fresh fruits. They had prepackaged muffins and oatmeal with lukewarm water. On top of that their dining room was overrun by what looked like refuges from foreign countries. In fact it was the first time I ever recalled getting a call from the front desk to make sure we made it to our room safely.

Comfortable. Clean. Nice staff. Let my husband use the employee restroom after an impromptu stop from Boston after a concert and bad weather. Quiet. Comfortable bed. Slept great. Easy in and out. Helpful staff.

Good for tournament.
Hotel is busy but met our needs for a hockey tournament weekend stay. Front desk manager super friendly and helpful. Beds were comfy and AC was great on a very humid and hot weekend. Parking great and easy to get around. Full kitchen which was awesome.

I arrived and gave my confirmation number for my reservation. I was told there was no reservation under my name and the number i gave was showing another individual that was already checked in. They had no available rooms and I had to find somewhere else to stay. They then proceeded to CHARGE MY CARD for the stay. I called, they said the charge was through Expedia so I had to call them. I did and Expedia confirmed the HOTEL ran my card. The Expedia rep called the hotel directly and was just told they couldn't find the reservation. He asked how they could charge me if they couldn't find a reservation and the manager HUNG UP on him. WORST experience ever and I will be as vocal as I can about how terrible and incompetent this hotel is!

The hotel is being used as a short term place for the homeless. It stinks of cigarettes, the lobby is filthy, the folks sitting in wheelchairs outside and in the lobby look like they haven’t showered in days or weeks. The women behind the desk agreed with me and said all of their hotels in this area are the same. I will be asking for a full refund and think this chain should be removed from Expedia for false advertising and NOT adhering to your standards.
There is no way I could step foot in that hotel. I am now staying at a very nice Hampton Hotel around the corner.

Smells like smoke everywhere. There was a huge hole in the back of the bathroom door like someone had kicked it in. I called down to the desk because we had 4 people and 3 pillows and they said they didn’t have any. I’ll be shocked if we come home without bed bugs.

The flooring was loose and coming up in the bathroom and in one area in the bed area. Could be a trip and fall hazzard. The second floor corridor had a strong cigarette smell. The room did not, but the hallway was quite offensive.

OK place to stay
Room is clean. Breakfast is disappointing. No hot food, only muffins and instant oatmeal. TV is hard to navigate. AC is kind of old so it makes noises. Just a place to stay.

All in all it was a nice place to stay. The good was the parking, the staff, cleanliness, convenience for us. The not so good was the wifi (horrible) and no instructions as to how to access wifi.
As I stated, overall it was pleasant.

Staff get an A . The property was very clean. The room was clean. This is where it goes downhill. The “breakfast” is insulting. Please don’t call a mini muffin and a cup of coffee a “breakfast”. Just lower the price $2 a night and cancel the mini muffin order. No ice machines but they give you ice trays that take 24 hours to freeze! Both vending machines in the lobby had broken credit card readers. But the biggest issue of all, those beds!!! If you enjoy the feeling you get laying on your driveway while changing your oil in your car, these beds are for you! We both need a chiropractor stat! Two nights of no sleep from lower back, neck and hip pain from this torcher device of a bed. The money saved here will easily be spent ten fold to get my spine back into alignment. Not again…not this place!

Had to be moved from first room due to overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke. First floor is very noisy. If you happen to travel for work, and work nights, this might not be the best spot.

While the employees were nice… the room left a lot to be desired given the cost. No dishes or kitchenware. As in zero. Had to go to lobby and was given a bin with, a few plates, 1 fork, 2 knives, spoon and glasses. The burners on stove were all rusted. No coffee pot. Refrigerator door battered. The pull out bed = awful. Queen bed had stained bedding. Filth between mattress and box spring. Needed bedding for pull out… had to retrieve from desk and they only had one sheet and a junky blanket. Spent almost $200 for one night and I would never again.

When we arrived in our room, there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke in our room, though all rooms are non smoking. We told the service desk we could not stay due to this. They cancelled our room and helped us find another place to stay. Though they were extremely helpful, they were already aware of the room issue. They shouldn’t have even allowed this room to be booked.

The place is nice cosmetically and service needs work. They need a bell to let them know when someone is waiting to speak to someone or check in/check out. The bed was so uncomfortable. Other than that not bad for a night a two.

Pleasantly surprised! East Main Westboro location!
I have been pleasantly surprised. After reading the reviews I was a little hesitant but I am glad I have given it a shot. Room is is good condition. Full kitchen is awesome as I love to cook and bake. Service has been very good, nice, friendly staff and management. Overall I am very happy with my stay!

It was very clean the rooms are cozy. Just didn’t like the dog poop outside on the side walk. The guy that was working the desk had me waiting after saying hello three times about 5 minutes before checking me in because he was having a conversation with someone in the hallway.

First time staying at a Extended Stay America, not the experience i was hoping for. When your 12 year old come to you and points out multiple things threw out the room that are dirty, that's a problem. The heater electrical outlet was burnt and melted, yellow stains on sheets, door handles had a build up of dirt on them and didn't look like they have been washed in months. This room was so bad that i had to go and purchase cleaning supplies at 11pm because my 2 children couldn't sleep in such unsanitary conditions. To see such uncleanliness at a hotel, especially during a crisis like we are facing with COVID-19 is just unbelievable to me. I was issued a credit from the hotel and a coupon code from hotels.com for my inconvenience but no refund or coupon code could ever be enough to expose my 2 children to that unsanitary condition.

Bare bones business travel. It is nice having a kitchenette other than that nothing special. I wish more hotels(not just this one) would put out their breakfast and coffee earlier. Most people have to be heading out before 6am

The location was great for us, but we were disappointed with the amenities. Although we were assured they'd have great wifi, we couldn't get it to work (on our iphone, our android phone or our laptop). Also, at check-in, we were told there would be a "grab & go" breakfast of muffins, cereal bars, etc., but there were no such items available in the morning - only coffee. When I asked, the lady at the front desk just shrugged and said that they didn't receive any breakfast items that morning. There were no cups in the room; we had to get a cup from the front desk. And not a single hand towel in the bathroom. Overall, a pretty disappointing stay.

Checkin was good once they found my reservation. We have stayed many times and will stay again but there were a few minor things that we noticed. The luggage cart had a flat tire. This made for great laughs but not all have our personalities. The refrigerator in our room was dirty. The bed was comfortable and all else good. A workout room and place to get ice would be a fabulous addition.

I liked that they had a kitchen in the room. Just have to ask the desk for pots pans and dishes. Our room was clean and spacious. Big enough for a small family. Even fits a play pen without it being in the way of walking! I did not like that they only have a grab and go breakfast. Only had muffins and granola bars. No juice for kids. Good area. Gas station within minutes.

We stayed here after a long drive into Boston. We were just there to sleep, shower and eat breakfast.
There were no linens for the pull out nor were there toiletries.
I wanted to pay with cash but was refused per the sign at the desk. No notice about that anywhere while booking.
No breakfast was put out. Not even fruit. Just coffee.
Didn't help that three cop cars were there to deal with an unruly guest when we arrived at 11 pm to get some sleep.

Everything was clean and in great condition. Comfortable bed. Quiet. Check in person was very nice. I had used soap left in the bathroom.

First, my room was a non-smoking room and reaked from smoke smell especially in the curtains. I went to the desk and asked for a fresh set of curtains. They said someone would be by to wash them. In the meantime I was given a bottle of odor water. It masked the issue but did not take care of it. No one ever came to wash the curtain.
Second, dust. There was so much dust in the room that it looked like it was snowing when looking at the light coming through the window. I took the filters out of the a/c and they were clogged worse than a dryer filter. I went to the desk with the filters. I was told someone would be by to clean them. When I returned later the filters had not been touched. I brought them back to the desk where the new desk person took them and washed them.
Third: The TV. On the website it said TV with premium channels. No channels were HD, the TV only received 13 channels and 4 of them were mostly snow or wavy.
Fourth: The first 3 days of my stay the continental breakfast did not exist. (Except for coffee which I don't drink) 0When the supplies did show up it wasn't worth the time to walk down the hall for a big selection of oatmeal, prepackaged tiny muffins that tasted horrible or a power bar.
Besides the lack of service, the bed was quit comfortable and the set up with kitchenette was good. If you want kitchenette supplies to cook and eat with you have to get them from the desk. Nothing but a pot holder was in the room.

Family trip for graduation season- the location was great as it was close to where we needed to be.
That’s where the pleasantness stops.
I would not stay there again even though it was fairly economical. The kitchens have absolutely no supplies and you have to ask for and then retrieve whatever you need. When I called down to ask for simple knives, forks and plates I was given significant attitude.
Not the cleanest place I’ve ever been but not the worst. The smell of rotten fish though was somehow in our bathroom. I have no idea how it got there. I had to leave the windows open in the fan going. A second family members room had such a strong smell of cannabis it was overwhelming.
I usually try never to leave a negative review, benefit of the doubt and all that. But this one deserved it. Pay a little more and get a lot more.

Bed was not comfortable. Pillows too stiff.
The top blanket looked like a shower curtain to me. No hair conditioner. Just shampoo in shower. No garbage in bathroom or vanity area. Room smelled musty to me. The rate was inexpensive so I really have no reason to complain. Breakfast options are oatmeal, muffins and hot chocolate/coffee. Just know you get what you pay for. 😊
