Do not book here or on this site at all
Would not stay here again. We could not get sheets and blankets for the pullout couch for my son after calling t ice. We picked this for the pool but we could not swim
As the chlorine was so strong it burnt everyone’s eyes. After reaching out to the manager apparently you nothing they could do since we booked on this site which we will not do again either.

Surpassed expectations
My expectations were surpassed by this hotel. My daughter has a January birthday which for years has been thwarted by snow or COVID outbreaks. We decided to stay at the Homewood Suites where we could use the pool and bring our dog, both very important to her for a birthday.
I was impressed as a solo mom by an in-room peloton and a gym that overlooks the pool (perfect for supervising older, strong swimmer kiddos) But what surpassed my expectations were the moments of humanity, which so many businesses and hotels lack. First of all, 3:00 check in and 12:00 check out. Wow. Hotels seem to be squeezing times to 4:00 check in and 10:00 check out, so the realistic check in and check out were very much appreciated. Our King suite with tons of room (and the in room peloton- yes I really appreciated this) was reasonably priced. My absolute favorite part of our staff was the breakfast staff. the included breakfast included hot items, which was a pleasant surprise, but there were attentive and pleasant staff present. They were extremely kind to my girls, and I couldn't help but notice that they made personal connections with everyone dining in the breakfast area. Throughout our stay, the staff we encountered were helpful and available, but also non-intrusive. The Boston area isn't particularly known for hospitality (I can say that as a lifelong Bostonian) but I felt a welcoming vibe and a familiarity after only one day. We will definitelystay-cation here again.

No hot water, dogs barking all night
The room was comfortable and spacious, however there was little hot water in the room. We were told that we should let the water run for 15 - 20 minutes before expecting hot water. Also, it seemed that every room surrounding us had dogs in it. All night long, one dog would start barking, and then they would all join in. Never got a good night's sleep. We did not have dogs and did not request to be in the dog section.

I am so unhappy with the whole stay because i booked any hotels and when i had to check in i never had to have a extra $190 plus the room fee $242 =$492.00 on my card that was a super surprise to me and i cried for 2 hours about it was my 7yr old bring pool party i felt like i let him down when i was NEVER TOLD it was gonna be $492.00 to check in....i had to make alot for help cause i only had to toom fee my feelings was hurt "NEVER AGAIN," i was embarrassed but the kid had fun after i had to find someone to help me out if not i wasnt gonna be able to check in i was never to told $492.00 @ check in i though it wss only suppose to be $292.00 i was SAD!

Don’t bother with the breakfast
Food (breakfast) was gross. Basically it’s prison food. Allergens for the various dishes are not labeled. So if you’re allergic to common foods (like me), be prepared to be sick for the rest of the day. Thanks for that.

a comfortable place to stay
The only real problem we had with this hotel is that, at check in, we were told by the paper stapled to the key card envelope that housekeeping would not happen unless we asked for it each day. We were then surprised when each day housekeeping service came in while we were gone. They took away dishcloth, washcloths, hand towels and bathmat on different days and did not replace them.
The breakfast was good to have, but something we specifically looked for when booking the reservation. A little more variety in the food choices would have been good, but not having to pay for breakfast at a restaurant is a positive.
All in all this hotel was a little underwhelming for the price.

I would rate this hotel a 5 star however the hot water in the shower never worked. When my husband called the front desk we were told to let the water run for a while and it will get warm. We let it run for a half hr and still no hot water that’s was upsetting. The closet door was also falling off of the rail that was scary. I thought it was going to fall on me and lastly their utensils in the room were a bit rusty but aside from that it was a nice hotel overall.

Our room was ready as we arrived early andxwere abke to go right to our room. Anytime we needed additional towels or bedding they were brought promptly to the room. Staff was friendly. The complimentary breakfast was good and the Wednesday social was nice as well.

The hotel was perfect for my big family the kitchen was a bonus!
The only one thing I will say is that I stayed here with my small children and the swimming pool was the a big deal they wanted to be in it every night. However the floor to the pool was so rough it felt unsafe also the chlorine was so strong I had a headache from watching my kids swim.
The jacuzzi seemed a little old and not maintained also the tiles and flooring were super rough like you were walking on cement.

Our family of 6 stayed in a suite and would definitely recommend. The rooms are completely sound proof from corridor. Only downside was we had to go to 2nd floor to get ice, if that’s even a complaint. Staff were friendly and always helpful. Breakfast portions were great and each day had a new menu. All day coffee and free afternoon snacks helped with keeping costs of being away from home down!

One of the best hotel stays we have had
We made our reservations online for two nights but then had to call to inquire about changing our stay to one night. The woman that we spoke to recommended that we wait until we check in before deciding to change our reservation since they were booked and would not likely be able to get a reservation for a 2nd night if we needed to. In spite of the fact that the hotel's policy is to charge for last minute cancellations, she assured us that we would not be charged and that she would be there when we checked in. Thankfully, we were able to stay two nights (and she was there when we checked in). The room was clean and we were very pleased with the accommodations. The kitchen and living room areas were nice and provided plenty of space. It was nice to be to sit and relax and watch TV on the couch rather than sit on a bed. The separate bedroom was very nice. The bed was very comfortable. The separate bathroom sink with lighted mirror and counter were wonderful for getting ready while the other person showered in the separate bath/toilet area. We took advantage of the gym. It was a little humid from the nearby pool area but we still had a good workout. We much appreciated the complimentary hot breakfast. There was a variety of food, including fruit, yogurt, cereal, an egg main dish, meat, a side (home fries), and breads. We were impressed by how quiet the rooms were, a nice change from most hotels we have stayed in. We will definitely stay in a Homewood Suites hotel again.

The shower hadn’t been cleaned. Hair that didn’t belong to me was everywhere…shower gel was nearly empty and the tissue box should’ve been replaced. Ended up just using bath tissue instead after using about 5-6 tissues. I was staying two nights so a refresh would’ve been much appreciated. Staff was not very friendly. Bland and mediocre. No one seemed happy, friendly or even pleasant. It was a little depressing.

Review Homewood Suites
Cleanest hotel I have stayed in since Covid 19 began. This hotel has not let down their guard for Covid 19. Wipes in hallways, dishes put in dishwasher locked, loaded, cleaned and dried with sticker stating dishes are clean. Rooms are immaculate. Kudos to the housekeeping team!
Front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful as I had arrived tired and needed takeout that would deliver to my room. She presented menus from surrounding restaurants in a minute.
Breakfast was amazing. Omelets, sausage, roasted potatoes, muffins, cereals, fruit, juice and of course coffee and teas.
Highly recommend this hotel!

Overall Nice Place
This is a beautiful, clean hotel. The staff were very friendly. However, we are traveling with a person in a wheelchair. He doesn't need much accommodation, but every bathroom should have grab bars.

I’ll start of by saying our room was clean and spacious. We had the 2 queen suite where with a door between the bedroom/living area. This worked well for our family with toddlers and a baby so if some of us were awake the others could sleep. Beds were a bit uncomfortable/too firm for my liking (just me being picky). While the room itself was nice I wasn’t happy that the pool was a bit dirty (didn’t seem like it had been vacuumed in a while), and the hot tub was broken. The pool also was very cold. Our kids still enjoyed it but it made it tough for us adults to stay in it. One of the main draws for us to this hotel was seeing it had a pool and a hot tub. Come to find out one of the maintenance guys said the hot tub hasn’t been working for almost a year. I hope they update the pictures or add a note somewhere that this is not available.

We stay at this hotel any opportunity We get, love how easy access it is to get to and then it’s clean, rooms are always in great shape and the pool is available to us. I usually travel with my small children and it’s pet friendly.

The room was a good size and clean.i was surprised that the hallway floor was stained, kind of surprising considering the price of the hotel and the hot tub wasn't working. The breakfast didnt have a waffle maker. The workers were super helpful and kind. Would stay there again for sure.

It was a short stay but it was great, took advantage of the the pool. Wish the jacuzzi was working as well. And i missed breakfast because it ends so early at 9, i got there by 8:40 and nothing was left only bread. other than that i loved my stay.

Room big and clean the ac work perfectly . Bed was really uncomfortable ,pillow need be changed asap. Breakfast was ok best of the breakfast was a woman(I didn’t get her name) her service was amazing she deal with everything with a big smile and great attitude . they didn’t have enough plates for a holiday weekend people need to wait for plates. The pool was dirty and cold. Good hotel just need a little more effort

We had an amazing time! We stayed 3 nights and the rooms were so great for our family of 5! Plenty of space for us all! Only down side was the pool was cold and the hot tub was shut down! But overall staff was amazing and we had a great stay!! Will definitely be back!

I liked the upgraded facilities and room, it was very comfortable. I booked the room with the Peloton bike and was great to use if for my first time and stay fit while traveling. I recommend this hotel!

My family went to Boston for college tour with two other families, when we arrived around 3:30pm we were told that our room was not ready yet, the estimate waiting time is about 15 minutes, so we were invited to my friend’s room to wait. Because there are construction at the time at the lobby and there is no place to sit, it was dirty and fluffy air. Half hour past by I took my daughter to lobby again and the man told me that it might take another 15 minutes. But one hour past when I went to lobby again, I saw the room that supposed assigned to me was crossed out and assigned to other customers, I was very upset and asked them for explanation. Nobody cared about it and finally the manager came to me and apologized.
I will never stay at this hotel because I don’t think we were treated equally with respect and dignity. They should have managed better with construction and informed that online when we booked hotel.

Fantastic evacuation experience! We lost power for 3 days so had to find a hotel last minute and this hotel was lovely. There was high demand to find reservations a d the front office manager went above and beyond to find us a room we could stay in for two nights instead of having to move again. Great breakfast buffet with hot breakfast and options. The amenities were modern and huge pool. Strongly recommend this location. The rooms were also perfectly spaced. We had the double Queen one.

Love this property. This is like the 10th times i stay here and everything about its just great. Nice quiet area, nice people and now the dinning area is open. They recently had renovations going on but now i believe they are done. The only issue i had was water in the pool which was to cold for my taste but they have a nice hot tub to make up for it. I will definitely recommend this property. Its near everything.

The A/C in our room did not work properly. We were given a fan to compensate for it. The seat in the shower would not stay up and out of the way. The USB ports on the sides of the bed did not work. Lastly, we filled out a card for our breakfast, but upon pickup, there were no breakfast sandwiches. We got a granola bar and a cup of mixed fruit instead of fresh fruit instead. Really disappointing stay overall. There are obviously some things that need to be fixed.

The overall hotel was fine. The room description said there was a full kitchen and showed pictures of a stove and my trim had none which proved to be challenging with two kids. The cabinets were all banged up and in need of repair and the pool area (hot tub was closed) was less than desirable.

This Hotel is in the middle of a remodel so parking was very difficult later in the evening, most people just made their own parking spots. We did laundry twice there are 2 washers/2 dryers 1 of them being out of order ! Brown bag brekfast and our door to our room was broken we completely got locked out a few times we were told it was probably a bad battery but it wasnt fixed during our stay so lots of trips to the front.

They should let people know that they are renovating the hotel front desk. It was a sore sight to see construction partition walls all over the place, no real reception area. A heads up would be courteous.

Nice place for convenience
The hotel lobby is under construction, so breakfast was ordered to go and some parking spots are taken up by the construction vehicles. But there were plenty of spaces available. The room was clean, nice and comfortable. Conveniently located right of the highway, close to Blue Hills reservation. Limited use of the pool, but we were able to have it to ourselves.
