I do not recommend this property. Reviews online are deceiving. Room was dirty, bed was lumpy and worn out. Requested a different room and got push back from staff. Did not stay the night but instead found different accommodations. Disappointing.

Another Great Stay at Whispering Hills!
Another stay at the Whispering Hills Inn and won't be the last. Every time we stay here, we feel at home. Everyone is always so friendly and kind, and the hotel is always clean. The breakfast and late-night snacks are delicious and we appreciate the extras.

Room smelled musty, shower room ceiling water damaged and paint peeling, cracks in tiles and walls. Stayed 2 nights. First night the sheets on the bed were musty. Second night they were fresh.

The room had no heat, which they swapped rooms but the mattress was completely worn out. The toilet base was loose and rocked badly. The breakfast was the best part of my stay.

Filthy and Nasty
Our stay at Whispering Hills was not great. Our room was filthy and had several issues, including mold and mildew. I was overcharged for my room, and when I called to ask about it, they were going to look into it and call me back, I never received a call back. Due to the condition of our room, after we left my husband was sick for almost 2 weeks. I sneezed every day we were there, but my sneezing stopped once we checked out. The only positive thing I can say about our stay was that the front desk staff was friendly.
We will never stay there again and I wouldn’t recommend that hotel to anyone. We reported the issues to the staff, so hopefully they will get it taken care of. We would have checked out and went somewhere else, but it everywhere was booked due to it being a super busy season.

The room was filthy including bath room. Mattress was horrendous. Had I known this I wouldn't have prepaid. Consequently I lost the first days deposit. Staff person yelled some obscenity as we left. You get what you pay for, lesson learned.

Not enough electrical outlets and no USB outlets. Water got extremely hot and lavatory faucet handle was very stiff to pull up to turn on and adjust flow.

The location is convenient. The room is filthy. Hair in the sink, towels left hanging behind the bathroom door from previous guest, entry is marred and marked with dirty smudges, there are cob webs on the door frame, the sink does not drain well, the tub floor is dark and dingy, appearing to be dirty, the carpet had a six inch-circle sized stain right inside the door. The bed scarf had stains in multiple places.
The garbage can receptacle in the breakfast/dessert area was covered with ice cream running down the front of it. The tables had a film on them, like they had been wiped with a dirty cloth.
There were no Kleenex in the room. I asked at the office and was given a box of Kleenex. I asked for 2 extra pillows for our king bed. I was told they did not have any extra pillows because they were full the night before.
The staff was friendly and respectful, just not helpful.
I chose this hotel because it had a Very Good rating on Expedia. This is very confusing to me. What is the criteria for poor? I would highly recommend that you NOT STAY HERE if you care about cleanliness unless you are truly desperate.

I always love staying here. It's quiet, clean and they offer a breakfast that includes sausage, eggs, biscuits, gravy, waffles, cereal, potatoes, muffin and more, plus they offer an evening dessert of cobblers, cookies and ice cream. The staff has always been friendly and helps accommodate any needs

Great location
First the good things: Great location, very friendly and helpful staff, parking good, water pressure and hot water wonderful. Breakfast was as good as any other hotel I've stayed at in Branson. Waffles, biscuits and gravy, sausage, home fries, yogurt, cereal, coffee, cappuccino machine. Dessert offered at night is not much, but the cookies were good. Bad things: The room wasn't that clean. It needed a good scrubbing. Towels were a bit worn as well. I'd stay here again though.

Pictures of This Hotel are Deceiving
It took 3 rooms til we had one that didn’t have an electrical problem or a faucet that would not turn off. The advertised breakfast is not nearly as good as pictured. The beds are horrible. Feels like they have a pad on them that bunches making the very lumpy. The outside needs paint. In the dining area is a freezer for complimentary ice cream. It is so defective it is covered with an insulated blanket. We would never consider staying here again!!!!

Expedia offered a discounted rate of $82.00 a night. I guess you get what you pay for. The entire facility needs majorly scrubbed from top to bottom. They advertise FREE hot breakfast and dessert. The breakfast looked like it had been there for a couple days. It was NOT edible. The dessert consisted of store bought cookies and a watery canned cobbler concoction. We will not be returning.

Friendly staff. Convenient parking. Breakfast and evening dessert was nice. Wasn't as clean. Carpet and tile flooring needed swept/vacuumed and things were dusty. Bedding was clean! Overall our stay was good.

This hotel hasn't been kept up very well. It had a very musty smell and was not clean. The bathtub was stopped up so by the time you finished your shower you were standing in water. The towels were very thin and the vent fan in the bathroom was broken with pieces missing. We will not stay here again.

Room was clean- clean bed, bath and floor. However, the walls are thin and we listened to our neighbors Tv. The lack of weather stripping under the main door probably didn’t help. Staff was friendly and breakfast was fine but the room where breakfast was located was rough looking. Ok for the price.

Staff were very nice. Good breakfast and even evening dessert included. Room was clean and quiet. Easy access to parking. Only negative was air only worked if you had it turned really cold. Some might like that but too cold for us. Frig in the room was nice too.

The staff is attentive friendly. We have issues with our key card several times. They were available to help us immediately and extremely apologetic. We have stayed here several times and have always had an awesome experience. We will stay here again. Great breakfast, nice variety and everything was warm and fresh. Great staff and property!

Everything was fine...except...the floor boards all around the room, as well as behind furniture, were laden with "old" dust. It looked dirty, and I wiped one area with a tissue....it came out black! That really needs attention. Otherwise, our stay was great!!

NOT WHAT IT USE TO BE
The room was dirty with the floors not being cleaned and dust on the counters .The Bed looked like someone had already slept in it with very wrinkled sheets and the floor has definitely not been cleaned in awhile with debris around the edges and at least 6-8 pieces of white objects on carpet . THE BREAKFAST AREA WAS DISGUSTING AND VERY DIRTY ON THE COUNTERS WITH THE HOLDING CONTAINERS FOR THE FOOD BEING EXTREMELY DIRTY AND LOOKED LIKE IT HAD NOT BEEN CLEANED IN WEEKS , The ice storage was so hard two lady’s trying to get ice could not even get it to break up . Very disappointing to say the least and I have stayed here quite a bit over the last 10 years but it’s definitely not the same motel it use to be and I would not recommend to anyone no matter the price !!! We even went elsewhere for breakfast which was very disappointing as it use to be decent

Not as nice as we would have liked
when we checked in, we immediately noticed a musty, damp smell to the room. There were no shower curtains in either room, but this was remedied after complaining to the front desk. The place looked a bit run down. Although there was no smoking in the rooms, we did witness another guest smoking on the balcony two doors down from us. The soaps, shampoos, toilet paper was not refilled and there was no facial tissues at all. Also, the continental breakfast was OK, but not up to the standards we have had at other places in Branson.

Dirty never cleaned around the edges of the carpet or tile tried to use the blow dryer. It started smoking and catching on fire went up front. I had to get another one and it never did get properly screwed to the wall. The breakfast area never ate there.

I stayed here 3 times .. but this time the motel was a bit run down.. where our room was their was no internet service at all .. and the carpet was very stained.. The bed was good and the shower was nice.. the staff was nice.. The Breakfast was not good at all just eggs and gravy.. saying all this we will not be back..

Whispering Pines was good for the money
Good hot breakfast. desert event I did not attend in evening. Hotel is extremely dated and I thought it might be for the price. All I wanted was a comfortable bed. It was. Super hot water so that was a plus. Normal amenities BUT they all worked fine which was great compared to choice hotels. It was very quiet and had good parking. Air unit was fine so I was pleased the unit was consistent to the temperature I dialed in. If they could update the rooms, they would command double the price.

Would will not be staying here again. The room had a smell. The room looked clean but had a gross feeling. The shower & sink would not drain properly. Everything offer was on the cheap side. Breakfast was awful. Was the cheapest food and cheapest things the could get away with. Felt like a old motel 6.

Upon check in, I went to our room and the first thing I did was pull back the blanket on the bed and their was a long black hair. I went back to office and I had to go back to that room to show him. He gave me keys to another room that had a musty smell and stained sheets. I went back to office and asked for refund and was told they could not issue a refund. He promised to reclean the original room. We went out for the evening. We got back to our room late and could not get in the room. No one in office. Called number on door and left a message. Called back and talked to someone and had to work on lock Got into room and there is a hair in the bathtub. Extremely unhappy. Travelocity has them listed with an excellent rating which is very misleading.

We made our reservations online based on pictures shown of the property. Everything this price and up was booked or i would of left and went somewhere else. The eating area for breakfast and dessert was terrible looking definitely didn't use. Gross!!! Then upon leaving a women who works there was recording the parking lot I'm sure to show they had a full house. Well like us when u go on vacation you are kind of at there mercy since Everything in the area is booked. So the only thing to do is make the best of it. I'm assuming its family owned since it seemed they were living on the property.

This property is very dated and dirty. The room we were in had water stains all on the floor, mold on the shower curtain, and the tub did not drain. I tried talking to the manager upon checkout and he was not there. They left him a message to call me and all I described to them. No call. Called about a week and half later and again they left him a message to call me, still no call. I was charged full price for this filthy room! I have the pictures to go along with the description.

Disgusting stay
This place is disgusting dirty, the bathroom had crap smeared on wall above toilet paper holder, the comforter was disgusting flithy, looked like a guy had jerked off on it, i took it to them, 1 of the pillows on bed was soaking wet with a huge stain on it and smelled of pee.I have asked to speak to manager which was told he would call me and of course NO CALL.. I will NEVER stay here again and DO NOT want anybody else wasting their money on this nasty place.

Stained carpets, outdated facility
As soon as i stepped foot into the room i noticed an odd odor and noticed a dirty stained carpet. As i made my way into the bathroom, i noticed the bathtub was either stained or dirty as well. I decided it was just an old facility that needed a facelift and a thorough cleaning. The sheets and towels were clean. The bed was a little hard for my taste. The breakfast was decent, and the desert, in the evening was nice.

The hotel had a motel vibe and the bathroom was small. HOWEVER, these didn’t matter to me because of how great everything else was. It was very clean, all of the amenities and small appliances were present and working. The pool was clean and inviting. The front desk staff person, Sam, was extremely helpful, patient, and pleasant. My family and I stayed for 5 days and Sam helped us throughout the stay when we needed anything or had questions. Sam and the other staff were very polite and hardworking. We loved and looked forward to the complimentary breakfast and evening dessert each day. I would 10/10 go back to Whispering Hills.

The property was average. Our only complaints were the dirty carpet and being told the pool would be open when it was not. I understand they could not do anything about the storm, but don't tell me it will be open by this time and it is not. The nightly cookies and ice cream were very nice.

They have both breakfast in the AM and then dessert in the PM. Friendly staff, easy parking. We were in the back, and it was very quite.

I was pleasantly surprised. The price was so reasonable for the area. Honestly I was expecting it to be less inviting. But the rooms were large and clean. Everything worked except the blow drier but I brought one. The free continental breakfast was great. Biscuit n gravy, sausage n eggs, waffles and more. It was a good visit. I would recommend staying there, book through expedia.
