This property doesn’t look like the online pictures nor the reviews . When I pulled up to this resort first thing came to mind was a motel. Too expensive for the motel feel and smell. The water park really not smaller kid friendly. My son is 4 and was able to get on any of the slides in the kid part . It was the worse experience.

The room was small, especially the bathroom. It was very dark too. The workers started at 7am with an excavator of some sort. Very noisy. Only one vending machine and it only had soda for $2.50 a can!

All the fun you can have in one location! Clean rooms, comfortable beds, quiet, safe with reasonable rates. The downside is no signage for elevator location and upon check-in one of the desk employees was on the phone talking very loud, making it difficult to understand the nice lady that was helping me.

I think that the rooms on ground level should have privacy tint on the room window so you can keep the blinds open for natural light without people seeing your business.

I felt this resort was pretty outdated and honestly a lot of the areas were dirty and could use a good deep clean. Overall though, the amenities were great and we were never bored on the property.

well where i start. she put room behind elevator stairs. we hear clomping all night ! the water cold in wayer park. kids area closed. life guards got onto my grandson all the time veey few people in pool.

Good hotel, great little water park!
We took our first family trip with our 3.5 year old twins and our 1.5 year old. The hotel was simple and clean with a standard flatscreen TV, mini fridge, and microwave. Beds were comfy and the staff was very friendly. The real star was the water park though. The kids were too small to do a lot but we rode the lazy River and wave pool together. Husband and I took turns sneaking off and riding the water slides. Lots of fun and we will definitely be back again!

Great place to stay with plenty for the kids to do. The Fun Spot is fantastic for the kids as well as the water park. The Grand Country breakfast buffet is fantastic and the staff very friendly and helpful.

Snowed in and ruined short vacay. No accommodations from front desk for winter weather. Not one dollar discount to add another night.
That’s fine, Holiday Inn Express across the street was extremely helpful and accommodating with early check in, continental breakfast and an $76 room!

The live animal show was horrible I felt that the animals were terrified of the trainer and you should look into it more closely maybe get a new act where the animals are loved and well cared for that do tricks out of respect and not fear

I did not like the fact that the doors to the room faced the outside, especially if you're staying there in the winter. To get to ANYTHING (rooms, other buildings, restaurants, waterpark, etc.) VERY poorly marked to find anything. Very frustrating. Otherwise, a very fun place especially for kids. The new addition to the waterpark was amazing. Only downfall is it's a separate building (but is connecting) from the other part of the waterpark. Fairly reasonably priced for the facility.

Motel is awful, but the property offers a lot
I assume I’m reviewing the motel and not the property itself. The motel is disgusting. Hands down the nastiest place I’ve ever stayed in my life! Roaches crawling around, feces from the prior guests on the toilet seat, trash from the last guests all over the room. If you walk around barefoot for 2 seconds your feet will be jet black. Dust an inch thick on headboards and frames, bathroom floor gets barely wet and it’s like an ice rink (still recovering from a pulled possibly torn muscle from falling), tables were sticky from previous guests. So, motel is 0/10. But, the water park, although small is pretty good! My kids loved it! The property indoor pool and hot tub weren’t bad either. The shows at the music hall were great! We loved Apple Jack! He was great with our kids and all of the other kids! Nice guy! He should run for mayor! The go carts, arcade and papa grands pizza were also a very fun building! We loved it! So, things to do around the property were a 10/10. We booked 2 additional nights (before arriving) through the resort itself so we were stuck for 3 days but honestly I’d just stay at an off property hotel and come enjoy all of the other stuff they have to offer. DON’T STAY at the resort! I’m just glad we didn’t bring any of the roaches home with us! They have a bad roach problem here, every night when we opened our room door, they would all scatter! AVOID the motel! Come for the water park and shows!

Great experience!
This was my third visit, I was here twice last year, and brought my granddaughters back this year. And they love the waterpark! We perfer going during the week when its not so busy. Granddaughters are talking about our trip back next summer.

Great place to stay but really firm beds.
Great place to stay. Only thing was the beds were really really firm. we all included the kids said that our backs hurt. We had a blast on site. from the water park, to riding go-carts, laser tag, golf, and the pizza was amazing. along with we all got free coffee and tea after several places at the park while staying. We were in building 3 which is really close to the fun park. it is a little way from the water park but wasn't a bad walk. We spent a whole day at the hotel with the water park and fun spot. we never had to leave.

Great place!
Took our granddaughters on a short trip to Branson. They are both 8 and LOVED the water park. We played mini golf and played in the arcade. The resort was close to everything, but we didn’t leave much. People were friendly and the staff was very accommodating. Our room was just what we needed. We all want to go back!

I liked the amount of things to do at the location but the staff was hit or miss. Restaurant area staff was super kind, shops (both gift and fudge) had older women who were just crabby. The rooms were clean just dated and walls super thin. Heard people all evening and then early morning with young families talk non stop. Daughter is 11 and the Waterpark was "for little kids" as she put it. She still had fun but it wasn't what i expected when booking it.

This was our very first-time visiting Branson and our first time at Country Waterpark Resort. The resort is very nice, clean and lots to do for kids. If you have kids, this would be the place to be. The water park is very nice and lots for kids to do and keep busy for hours. The staff at the water park were all very nice, friendly and helpful if you needed anything. However, the Fun play where the arcades are the staff does need a little training on how to talk with customers. I walked in and approached the counter and said "Hello, (to the employee) and told him this was my first time here and How do I go about playing the games?" He looked right at me then turned around and walk away. He didn't say anything to me. Someone else came over and helped me. I still have no idea why he did that. Anyway, beside that this was a nice place to stay at while visiting Branson.

Too busy. Spent an hour waiting in line to check in, then it was too late to do anything! Never again. Oh and was also misinformed by the lady checking us in. Lot of walking to get from room to pool or any other facility on property

So many better options
The hotel manager was absolutely awful. I purchased two nights and needed an early check in so decided I would call and purchase a third day so that we could check in early. The manager and front desk worker were horribly rude and completely not willing to accommodate us. Week day and even put us in the very far building, even thought I requested to be close to the pool. I have stayed here in the past, but I promise this was the last time for me. The Marriott at Willow’s Ridge was so accommodating!! Very modern abs had activities throughout the day for the kiddos! I would highly recommend them!

My grandson loved the indoor water park, I think it's great that they are making it even bigger.
We are at Papa Grand's pizza which he thought was great and he could have spent all day in the arcade. My only complaints would be that the inn's buildings aren't connected to the water park. And the fee for miniature golf was pretty pricey.

Our family went for a weekend Valentines Day trip. Checking in went ok. Our room was more than we expected, the decor was great for just a basic double bed. Our girls really loved the little touches like the lights and curtain in the bathroom.
Our tv had a deep scratch in it, we tried calling the lobby several times over a 3 hour period and we could not get anyone to answer. One of the blankets we had on the bed had some kind of sauce on it, so the linens were definitely not changed by the cleaning service in between guests. We had hair all over our beds and even in the shower. We bring our own towels, blankets, and pillows on our travels, so we didn't mess with trying to get new. Overall we did enjoy the room. I would say though, there was a huge gap on the door we had to put the dirty blanket down to keep the cold air out.
The water park was great for the kids. There is 0 supervision from parents, kids were using the lazy river as a raceway, the lifeguards let them do it, if you are expecting people to go around once and pass on their raft to someone in line, forget it, we waited 15 mins as the first in line, just to get my feet scraped on the concrete wall by one of the kids pushing me into it bc they were racing. The hot tubs are filled with children trying to swim, and they were not hot. They both were like a warm bath. Seating was not hard to find, and our kids loved the slides! Use the pool and hot tub in the other building!

The grandkids are 7.5 .2 they all had fun im areas together like the tree house an lazy river yet had areas they could play in the oldest rode the biggist slides they had for the first time an loved them. The middle one lost her braclwt to go on the regular slide an they wouldnt let her go an the second person said ahe was too short to ride them yet she had rode them for over an hour by then so she was upset but overall had the best time

Rooms were so out of date that I didn't stay the night. The outside entry to the rooms left loitering smokers to pass by with my 4 year old daughter. It stunk really bad. I didn't try the main buffet, but the pizza place should pay you to eat there. Waterpark was pretty fun.

More than met my expectations
Overall I was quite impressed with Grand Country Inn. It exceeded my expectations. The only drawback was that the pizza parlour and fun zone closed at 8 on Sunday. We were unaware and had planned on spending our time there Sunday night. So we left without ever getting to do the go carts or bumper cars. The new wave pool should be a big hit and reason to come back in the summer months.

Great hotel
We had a lot of fun and i loved that it was very close to all the attractions. I liked that it had things to kerp the kids occupied when we needed a break from going places. The breakfast buffet was good. Will definitely stay again

Our grandchildren loved the water park and the availability of game area!
The only thing we noticed is the room was a little musky, i am sure part of it was people being in the water park and some of the carpet seemed wet when we first came in.

I checked in and the lady was pleasant. She explained the layout easily enough and we left to find our room. Let’s just say unimpressed was the first impression after getting out of a car that we had been in for 9 hours. Our room was on the back on the 2nd floor. We walked in and instantly smelled chlorine and and a mildew smell. The beds were clean enough but I felt like the carpet looked like it was from the 80s and we didn’t know what We was stepping on.

It took a little longer to check in than normal. Had an issue of finding a room that was clean and it was 430 pm when we were checking in. Then 2nd room key didnt work. loved the water park which is why we stayed here.

Liked all of it. No complaints here.Grands had the best time. Your life guards are all extra nice,helpful and really watch the kids.Plenty for all ages to do. Water slides are even great for 61 year old G-ma. Lazy river my favorite.

Good but mostly for younger kids
We have stayed here many times. It is a great place for kids between 4-8. And we enjoyed it a lot when they were that age. Our kids are both on the upper end and unfortunately it’s just not the place for us anymore. The rides are too little for them, the outside pool spot is definitely too little for them. We still enjoyed the buffets and the papa grands pizza and the “grand country” feeling but unless they add something new and different and for older kids we won’t be back. Another major downside of this hotel is that there is no fitness facility. This is a major issue for us.
The location to tanger outlets though is a very nice. We have loved it while it lasted but after the fourth time and no new additions it’s a thing of the past for us. I would also HIGHLY suggest management put in suite rooms - more space for larger families or families that want to spread out a bit more during their stay.

Family vacation
Family vacation…check in did take quite a while, but the lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful when we finally got to her. The resort itself wasn’t the cleanest place we’ve stayed, but there’s so many people staying there it’s probably hard to keep up. There was a lot to do at the resort and the food at both buffets were very good. The water park was smaller than we expected but honestly there was so much to do in town that it didn’t even matter to our kids. They were disappointed that the bumper cars and VR game weren’t working while we were there. Overall it’s a good place to stay with children but i think next time we’re in town we will try somewhere different.

We loved the waterpark. The outdoor pools not so much. They say it can sleep 2 adults and 4 kids. There is no way possible to sleep 6 in 2 queen beds. I would highly recconend that this get bumped down to sleep 4 or people or 5 if the 5th is a small child. To lizt it as sble to sleep 6 is an absolute joke! I won't be staying there again unless they add some pull out couches to some of tge rooms so you can sleep 6 to a room.

The Waterpark was good. All the other attractions require buying tickets. The arcade is big but lots didn’t work, just a trap for kids and parents. I regret participating in the arcade. We couldn't try the bumper cars because it was always closed. The mini golf games were fun.

I know that keeping a large property up is hard however the elevator was so filthy I didn’t want to use it. The waterpark bathrooms needed a deep cleaning. Our room was satisfactory on cleanliness so that was good. Feel like for the price was too high for condition. Meals at Country Buffett was good. Liked that everything was in walking distance.

Absolutely wouldn’t do it again.
So the pictures online look amazing. You think it’s this amazing water Park somewhere beautiful. It is a water park and the indoor part is decent but the whole hotel is like a giant strip mall/complex. Sure it had stuff to do. Mini golf and an arcade that you have to spend $850+ to win something decent. The outdoor pools either offer a view of the parking lot or my personal favorite was the outdoor pool next to the indoor water park that gave you a nice view of the main road where I couldn’t help but think at any point a car was going to come down the hill and kill my whole family. Front desk people were decent. But I had to call 5 times to get some towels and pillows and you can’t just go get them so I had to wait for some guy to bring them. Which wouldn’t have been so bad except he didn’t show up until after we went to bed. I’m sure there’s a better way to do Branson than this. But if this was my only option, I wouldn’t go back.

It was most enjoyable that we had a pizza buffet and the grand country buffet nearby. Going to these places that were a short walk away allowed our schedule with shows, kids naps, and other activities to flow easily. I want to do this again when they are teenagers, so they can roam around safely and do lots of fun activities since Grand Country has a variety of indoor/outdoor put-put courses, indoor go carts, an arcade, plus many other activities. Of coarse there is the indoor water park too! It was impressive. We had a great time. Don't expect the rooms to be glamorous. We did the bunk room, but everything was small and the ceilings seem low. It was all about convenience for me. Even the shows were anywhere from 5 to 10 minutes away.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful when we checked in. Our room was at the opposite corner of the property from the water park so that was the only downfall. It was pouring so we drove and then ran through the rain to get there. The pizza buffet is pretty decent for the price, the games were a blast and the breakfast buffet was amazing! Love that the kids and her three get to eat for free. We would stay there again.
