Due to early arrival, I called first thing in the morning and asked for an early check-in. I spoke with a gentleman named Joe, who confirmed that I would be able to check in as of noon. When I arrived at noon, the lady working the reception desk seemed uninterested in helping me and told me to come back at 3 PM. She was not customer service focused.

Christmas vacation
Really liked the location. - close to Old Town but cheaper than other hotels in the area. Breakfast was great. Rooms are large with separate sitting area from bedroom. The noise barrier however is poor - could hear the people walking every step above us - very squeaky floors.
Disappointed that the pool was out for service for the duration of our stay (4 days).
Overall an enjoyable stay.

Noisy room 145
Room 145 is in a very noisy location. Maids room next door and this morning can hear all kinds of noise outside like rolling carts. Room very nice, but too noisy

The wait at check was a bit lengthily due to school group not being able to check in. The rooms are always well kept but tonight’s room the bathtub was filthy stained not substandard cleaning and the lights kept blinking and going on and off while showering in bathroom - too late to complain was tired and needed rest

Location was easy to find and about 20 minutes from the airport. The room and facilities were very clean but room was bit dated. The breakfast buffet was awesome with lots of really good options and refreshingly great coffee. There is a restaurant that shares a parking lot with the hotel so very convenient dining.

Good option for Old Town
About a 10 minute walk to Old Town for a lot less hotel cost. Pool was nice but whirlpool was not working. Staff was very accommodating. We had to leave for a tour before 6:00, so kitchen made us a perfect to go bag breakfast. Didn’t care for walking into the bathroom when you entered but it provided more space in the room. Balcony & patio were very nice to relax on in privacy.

We stayed here with our 3 grandchildren while traveling. Was very pleased with the cleanliness of the rooms, pool, hot tub and breakfast area. The breakfast had good food and many options. Our grandchildren loved it.

I had a problem with the two TVs not working and a staff member tried to help for the first three nights. On the fourth day of same trouble I asked for a new TV in my room. It was my last night there and the Manger Mr. Lee wanted me to change rooms without even coming to see if he could help. It does not sound like much but the bottom line is he was willing to make me do the work but not himself even trying to resolve the issue

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. It’s close to everything even the hospital. Staff is very friendly and attentive. I’m glad that they serve fresh brewed coffee very late at night. Hotel lobby area is very clean. Our room is very clean. I love how our rooms are updated with new furnitures.

Summer family visit
This stay was a great one! A home away from home experience with a few perks!
The room was very clean, cozy and comfortable. Housekeeping was very kind. Front desk staff were excellent throughout my stay.
I will be a returning customer. I visit my son once or twice a year for a week.

I loved breakfast. The service. The check in progress was easy and fast. The bed were comfortable. My only problem im so sorry was that the rugs in our room need a good shampoo. The housekeepers were attentive and really help full. Thank you for all your assistance with our stay.

Rude Front Desk
Great location but your front desk team and manager working on Sunday morning May 7 needs some serious customer service training.
Our AC stopped working in the middle of the night around midnight we all woke up sweating. The room would not go under 84 degrees. We were already settled and it was the middle of the night so we had to make do and try to get as much sleep as possible.
In the morning upon check out we let the team know about the situation. They just said well why didn’t you call the front desk to change rooms?
When I replied that we didn’t because it was 12-1 am they looked at each other and said well I would have. They showed no empathy and had serious attitude.
Then they continued to say they could not help us because we had booked through a 3rd party. Thankfully Hotels.com was able to speak to the hotel and handle our situation.

Terrible service. 40 minutes waiting in the lobby looking for my reservation and they didn't even apologize, they REQUESTED NOT NO BOOK THOUGH EXPEDIA. The rooms in 1st floor are SUPER noisy. You can hear every step from the second floor, I don't usually care about this, but here it was loud.

It was a convenient location for our activities. The breakfast was good. The pool was dirty. The hot tub was broken. Overall, the property needs to be upgraded; get rid of carpets as the establishment allows dogs. The furniture is broken and dirty. The elevators are in bad shape, dirty and broken panels.

Was told we were getting an upgrade because our room wasn’t ready. They put us on the second floor even though I requested bottom floor due to medical condition. Room was not an upgrade. It was same room I paid for just upstairs. There was a glob of hair on shower wall. One towel had black stuff all over it. They did give us a clean towel and my husband disinfected the shower. Also we were eaten alive from mosquitos. Mostly by the pool so we couldn’t swim. The two in the room we were able to get rid of. Other than that it was ok.

Great Stay! The room was comfortable and roomy. Plenty of toiletries and towels. The room attendant resupplied and made the beds each day. Microwave, refrigerator, two closets and plenty of cupboards and drawer space. The breakfast was superb, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, pancakes, omelettes, yogurt, several bread choices and many more options. Nice pool and quiet during sleep hours. Great value and I will be back ☺

Great Location
If I return to Scottsdale area, I would definitely stay here again. Those working the front desk were all so nice and helpful whenever I needed something (snacks, directions, laundry bags, etc.). This hotel is walking distance to Old Town Scottsdale with many restaurants, bars, and shopping. It’s not your typical mall shopping either but specialty stores, antiques, souvenirs. I stayed here with my family. It caters to both families and adults because of everything around that’s close by. Breakfast options are pretty good (hot breakfast) and items switched up daily. There’s always one type of egg, a couple options for protein (bacon or sausage). Daily pancakes, muffins, bagels and cinnamon rolls. There’s oatmeal and cereal so there’s options which my family liked. Coffee was just okay but hey, beds we’re comfortable and rooms were clean. I had the balcony room on the second floor and it was hard to access because the bed blocks it but I was still able to sit on the balcony. Parking was tight at times because it’s in the same lot as a restaurant that gets real busy but with free parking that’s ok. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here. No complaints.

Overall the room and property was kept up. My bathroom toilet seemed 2 not b cleaned. Faucet bathtub leaked. Sheet had burnt spots. But overall I loved this hotel. Didn’t bother me, but others might b bothered by little things,

Nice pool and hot tube outside. Super large rooms with balconies overlooking pool. Bed comfortable. Pillows are down or downlike. Clean rooms and property. Only negative is elevator seems old.
