Beautiful view. Great for quiet, and a very friendly atmosphere. Its a bit out of the way for shopping, etc., but their restaurant is excellent with a good variety of foods and drinks.

..could use a wall mounted magnifying mirror in the bathroom..
..the rooftop bar was nice but receiving a meal tends to be cool upon arrival as it is transported by staff from the 1st floor kitchen to the 7th floor dining area via elevator.. why was a 'dumb waiter' not installed when the hotel was built ??..
.. a hot tub/spa would have been a pleasant addition to the heated pool.
..and this morning the breakfast area was almost out of all the baked goods..and other than oranges the only fresh fruit was cut up melons which was fine for me but many folks do not feel safe with hands on fruit prep like that.. good coffee..
..just a few observations for your hotel's future improvements.

The only reasons I didn’t give it a 5 star is there was some mold in the shower which is easy to take care of between visitors with a little bleach. And the pillows were flat. All 4 barely added up to one. When I called down to ask for a feather pillow or better solution the answer I got was not helpful or apologetic in anyway. In fact, I wasn’t really even clear what she meant. She said I can’t go get you one. (It was about 9:30pm). After a few questions to clarify, what she meant was she’s the only one there and she can’t leave the front desk.
A better answer right upfront would have been to acknowledge my concern, apologize, explain she was the only staff on sight but that she would make sure it got handled first thing in the morning.
But, other than that, the room was very spacious, beds were comfy, and great views from every vantage point.
I’ll definitely stay here again.

One of the most excellent hotel experiences ever. The gentleman who checked me in late at night after exhausting day was a total professional and made everything so much easier despite the complicated issues created by checking in so late with Expedia skipping a step. The room was perfection in its convenient design with comfortable bed. Quiet sleep. Only issue was next afternoon. Told the young lady clerk how enjoyable the first stay was and would be sure to recommend to visiting friends, but housekeeping needs to remove a slippery substance from the shower floor where I almost fell. Oddly, she never looked up or spoke and just handed over the card keys reactivated for the 2nd night. Returned to hotel 2nd night and shower floor substance remained slippery next morning after forgot until too late. Otherwise, a perfect hotel. Thank you & wish all the other hotels in this price range and higher were as good.

Excellent in every way except for walk- in shower. It’s an accident waiting to happen. Floor is slippery and there are no grab bars to hold on to! Also, there are three containers on the wall in the shower. They all look the same but contain different liquids. No way of tell what’s in each container.

Wonderful property with a great staff and a great location. Hotel has its own small pool but as a guest, you can also use a larger pool on by the marina property right next door. The marina also features a nice restaurant/bar serving drinks and food at the pool and great food, including a raw bar inside or on the deck. Additionally, the hotel has a rooftop bar restaurant, which was great for late night drinks. Hotel also offers free breakfast.
The only drawback was having to pay for parking in their parking lot. I just don’t understand this obsession with hotels, now charging for parking whether it’s in the middle of a busy city or out in a open area where there’s plenty of land for parking around the hotel. It’s obviously just a way to get more money from each guest because there is no valet parking on site so it’s just a fee that puts money in their pockets.

Great stay, awesome location!
Super clean and excellent amenities for the price and the area! Super clean and free breakfast! Off the main drag so it was nice and calm and not super touristy, and I really enjoyed that because my trip was just for relaxing. The restaurant next door had live music one night which was sooo awesome ! Rooftop bar at this place… 10/10! Will be staying here again for sure.

Hotel was immaculate. We had a room with a kitchenette which we didn't expect. Balcony had a great view. King bed was comfortable. The pullout sofa was not at all. This was our only complaint. Staff very friendly. Enjoyable stay.

Everything good except their Rooftop Lounge
It was noted that this hotel did not have valet service for check in However at 300.00 night they should have it. booked online a suite with view of marina. my room did not have a marina view. Not worth effort and aggravation to change or complain so kept the room. Room and Hotel was very clean. Suite was very comfortable. A restaurant not affiliated with the hotel was located right next door so that was very convenient. The Hotel Rooftop Vista Lounge with food and bar was not the best. Happy hour price for beer 3 selections 5.00. Food was terrible and not many choices. Small portion and over priced. Not worth it. Cant prove it but high suspicion they put cheaper alcohol in high end bottles. two drinks we ordered were terrible, basically undrinkable and sent back. Stick to the beer so you dont get taken.

Love it!
We really enjoy this Marriott! Our trips to Tampa Bay now lead us here for our overnight stays. The people working here are very nice, the facility is clean, the room is spacious and there are several places to eat, within the hotel and nearby. We’ll be back!

I felt like the check-in process could have been better. The person "greeting" us barely made eye contact and just handed us a piece of paper with the hotel information on it vs. speaking to us and letting us know about the property; how to get on the wifi, where breakfast would be and what time, specials in the restaurant/bar, etc. I also didn't care for the fact that the A/C was locked, and we couldn't get the temperature in our room below 69 degrees, which made it very difficult for sleeping in the hot Florida weather.

This was a great choice. Two pools, clean spacious rooms, great restaurants, great music & a beautiful sunset from the rooftop. Great for staying with children. Breakfast buffet was great. A relaxing stay for parents. We loved it and can’t wait to go back. Staff was friendly too.

The property is new and at a very convenient location. It is close to shopping and beaches. We had no issue with cleanliness or anything with the room except the air condoning did not work properly and kept stopping in the middle of the night which made the room hot and woke us up. The management replaced the whole unit and that quickly fixed the issue. The bed mattress and pillows are too soft so if you are a firm mattress sleeper then this hotel is not for you. There needs to be a coffee machine in the lobby so people can have it any time of the day.

This property was absolutely wonderful
it was very clean the staff was very friendly and the location was absolutely spectacular.
The rooftop bar is wonderful for drinks a great view and appetizers and there is a great restaurant in walking distance next-door.
You have the use of the hotel pool or a larger pool that is connected to the marina next-door which is wonderful as well.
I would definitely stay here again

The Residence Inn was very clean and everyone was very helpful. Parking lot was well lit up at night. Plenty of parking. Great balcony for viewing outside. Had a nice restaurant on property. Refrigerator made a loud knocking noise in and out through the night but mainly the nights were very quiet. I would recommend this place to stay and will stay again on my next visit.

This hotel was amazing we stayed two nights, the room was clean, comfortable, safe and the basic room even comes with a water view. This place has a roof top bar , and a restaurant next door! The pool is a little small that's my only negative but the breakfast bar was amazing, great selection and the ladies at the front desk was very helpful.

Super clean, modern, dog friendly hotel
I stayed for one night with my senior dog to take her to the nearby dog beaches (Fort De Soto and Pass-A-Grille). The location is great, and my room was very spacious with a nice view of the marina. Very clean, too. Loved the dog bar in the lobby! The rooftop bar was great and dog friendly too. Free parking was a bonus!

This was one of the best hotel in term of price, location and amenities for our vacation recently in Florida. The location was good, very quiet though there is a bar/grill restaurant right next to it. The music entertainment is available if you open your balcony's door, which our room had the pool view, marina view and the bar/grill view's as well. The breakfast options were great. It had quite more than few other hotels that we have stayed at. The package waffles for to-go was delicious. It was in the area of Fort De Soto Park which we found a great location for the beaches. It was worth the cost to stay here for 2 nights.

I liked the privacy and cleanliness of the hotel, the breakfast, and the view, the room was also very nice the bed was extremely comfortable. I did not like that I had to order a cab to go everywhere and that it is too far from the beach and shopping

Rooms are beautiful, clean, but unfortunately we had to clean our own room. We had to call down for clean towels and for trash removal we had to leave trash outside the room and call front desk. Love the place just didn’t feel like cleaning while on vacation. Yes I would stay again and would like for them to at least come in without calling to remove trash and replace towels. Front desk not as friendly as all the other places I have visited. Their greeting should be intentional with a look to match. They should also know if clean towels were left at door when we return for the day.
But we did love the room and location just not many activities. Great for us not for the grandkids.

Clean, spacious, no sounds from other rooms or hall, (or outside!) full kitchen with kitchenware, large table for dining seating, beds with clean linens, super comfy bed and pillows, nice balcony, great variety on comp breakfast, ample parking, five minutes to Ft Desoto (reason for choosing this hotel)

A great stay. Staff was wonderful, breakfast was great and location was perfect for us. We visited the beautiful beaches of Fort Desoto park, just down the road. The beaches were less busy than the others that were packed with spring breakers. The marina next door has a great restaurant and live music. The roof top bar and restaurant at the hotel was great too. You also have access to the marina pool. Would definitely stay here again! Pet friendly too. We didn’t bring our dogs but loved seeing them around the property.

Overall the hotel is absolutely recommendable. However their housekeeping policy needs to be revised. Cleaning the room only every third day, unless you request it expresis verbis 24 hrs in advance is a clear no go.

The front desk person named “TUCKER” is horrible!!
I went to the hotel around 3:45pm and check in time is 4pm. There is no one at the front desk so I looked around and find a cleaning lady around the corner. She tried to get the guy in the office behind but he does not want to come out. When he came out from the back office he looked annoyed and said the check in time is 4pm so I have to wait. So I went to get luggages from my car but I saw him giving the room to my son when I came back not knowing the guy he is talking to is my son. It is only 3:50pm. How ignorant is that!! He also told me I have to pay $20 for insurance for the room and it is not refundable. I said what?? and I told him I would like to talk to a manager and sorted it out. It happened $20 is for deposit. His name is TUCKER and he should be fired from the job!!!

Hotel and team are always pleasant. We’ve stayed several times over the last two years. This last trip, there was road construction between 9pm and 5am several nights It was terribly loud and we couldn’t sleep at all. We understand the hotel doesn’t control that BUT they should have made their guests know it was happening. It would have been a nice touch to provide ear plugs, too.

The property was very clean and the staff was super friendly. There are two pools and a restaurant next door as well as a pretty cool rooftop bar. There is construction going on around the entrance, but it will be done in time. I really enjoyed my stay.
