The room smelled really bad. The couch in the room was all stained and ripped up. There was stains all over the wall. The kitchenette had drawers that was moldy. Honestly wouldn’t stay here again.

A place to sleep and clean up
The gentleman at the front desk was very nice. Five stars for him. The room was clean. There was a bare light socket above the microwave. It was high up enough that I wasn't in danger of touching it, but it wasn't safe. The shower curtain rod was coming out of the wall which made it difficult to keep the curtain closed while showering. There was a hairdryer, but it made concerning noises so I was hesitant to use it. There wasn't a phone, which isn't a problem unless you need to call 911 (cell phones may not connect locally). There is no dropbox for the key cards if you are checking out before their office hours. I couldn't slide it under the door or through the crack, so another guest and I placed the card on the top of the door so they would see it when they came in.

The lights didn’t work. The bed sheets smelled bad and were ripped. No channels on TV. There was smoke smell from the Non-smoking rooms. Stay away from this Inn.

Do not recommend this place at all. Smells really bad inside, broken walls,doors and dirty carpet, plumbing not working properly on bathrooms. Unsafe door hard to open. Electrical switch are not working lights bulbs missing.

Feel like this place was a bait and switch. Pictures on Expedia website are very nice this includes rooms, bath rooms, kitchenette, and lobby. Nothing was like the pictures online. No one was working on the pool but it was closed for maintenance. Closed for maintenance sign looks like it had been up for weeks. We got a non smoking room that smelt like a ash tray. Would definitely not stay here again, especially not with my 3 kids and wife.

Unsanitary Hotel— do not stay here
The picture is nothing like the room. One 2 bulbs worked in the room and we quickly learned why. It was to hide the mold, carpet ripped and coming up, the sticky substance in the carpet by the bed. The bathroom had mold to where I was afraid to use it. It obviously was not cleaned because the hair dryer even had mold on it. There was a light not plugged in and we realized it was because it was broken. We left shortly after check in and told day 2 would be refunded and that didn’t happen. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to my worse enemy!!!

The housekeepers are VERY lazy. It's obvious my sheets hadn't been changed for weeks. Filthy and disgusting stains when you pulled the top sheet back. When a wet towel will clean the stains away you know they hadnt been changed in quite some time. Sleeping in my clothes on top of the bed was the safest thing. My feet were a rotten black instantly from the filthy floor and the bathroom floor had pubes. There's a desert not far from from here. Save youself some money, buy a sleeping bag, and sleep under the stars rather than in this infested rathole.

One queen bed sinks in the middle and terribly uncomfortable! Bathroom has mold around tub/toilet and around molding of the bathroom! Needs a lot more lighting there is only two lamps and is dark! Terrible pillows! Smoke alarm found in a drawer next to the bed, which is illegal it should be up? I will really think about staying here again!

The nasty disgusting hotel.
The room was disgusting!!! White socks turned black on the Bottom from the dirty carpet. The light over the bathroom did not work. The bathroom sink drain was 95% plugged. The shower/bathtub drain was 90% plugged. The sofa in the room was so dirty and disgusting, we would not sit on it. Numerous cockroaches running around in the room. We actually went to Walmart and bought some cleaning supplies to clean the bathroom because it was so disgusting. The swimming pool was closed as he said it was down for renovations but nothing was being done chairs were still around the pool like they just walked away from it.
The hotel in general made me question why your organization would recommend it. I have reservations on using hotel.com again because of it. The hotel in general look nothing like the pictures on the website.

This property needs new management. No tissues in the rooms, ice machine not working nor scheduled to be fixed, pool closed even though it was 101 degrees, no small coffee pots in the rooms nor coffee in the lobby, staff regularly gone from the front office for 30 minutes (what if you left the key in your room? at night no emergency number posted when they were closed or gone). Only good point was they offered smoking rooms so you have a choice in rooms.

The clerk at the front office was friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. But that was the only good thing about our stay. For a non smoking room, it smelled terribly of stale cigarette smoke and there were burn holes in the bedding. The sofa bed had so many stains that we wouldn't even touch it. When we pulled into the parking space, there was a gentleman outside watching us as we unloaded our vehicle. We booked with this establishment due to price and location to the speedway, but will definitely not make that mistake again.

Staff was uniformed and could not answer questions. I called from the airport and asked about transportation.
The hotel booked at around $80
The cab fair was $78 because they are so far out. The rooms looked semi clean. The pictures are so out of date. The shower would not operate. The shower curtain was barely held up. I stood in 6 inches of water just to shower.
The faucet dripped.
Could not operate the diverter valve.
One other tenant was saying the outlets i
there room did not work. would not work.
The door seprating rooms would not lock so i put a chair in front.
The pictures look so nice. The reviews are so good. It was horrific.
The 7-11 across the street has a 24 hr gaurd. When i asked him what the area was like he said its dangerous.
Could not sleep due to thinking about the conditions.
Worst stay ever.
I would pay $10 max
Please do not list this property on your site. It was terrible.

An old motel. We call them “Mom and Pop’s “. Usually need help but a place to sleep for one night at a reasonable price. We didn’t pay for anything extra that we didn’t use. Perfect for us.

The rooms had front doirs that looked like someone had taken a framing hammer to them. Looking mechanisms were not secured to door jam and had to really push to open door. Eletrical outlets broken in wall lamp switches broken couldnt shut one off until i unplugged it. Short and sweet i will not stay here agin if they paid me, as a armed forces retiree i will advise Nellis AFB not to contract with this hotel. One good thing the TV worked.

Friendly staff and easy check in. Older hotel in need of renovation. Very basic. But Comfortable enough. No frills. No ice. No coffee. Only 2 small pillows on king size bed. Fridge and microwave in room. Quick overnight stay was doable.

The Aviation Inn needs new ownership. It is obviously just being used as an income generating property without concern for the condition of the property. Substandard facilities equates to substandard services provided. I do not hold the employees liable for the conditions of their working environment. I believe they are doing the best they can do under the circumstances.

The clerk was very friendly. She was polite, courteous, and seemed to go above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Check-in was quick, too.
The room was adequate. We've certainly stayed at FAR worse places. We knew when booking the room a month prior that this wasn't some up-to-date hotel with all the amenities of major hotel chains. We're simple people, though. The non-smoking room smelled of cigarette smoke. I would suggest the owners shampoo the carpet and replace all the furniture. There's a gap under the door letting daylight (and probably bugs) in. The smoke detector is missing. The knobs on the end tables were either missing or falling off. The bed was lumpy and sunken in. By the way, just two flimsy pillows for a king size bed? Really? The bathroom needed serious renovation, too. Just check out the photos. Whenever I stay anywhere, the first thing I do is take photos of the room. These things weren't enough to make us look elsewhere or go to the front desk to complain but I do hope the owner reads this review and makes some much needed repairs and changes.
After leaving for the airport for our return flight, we realized that we totally forgot to check out. Completely slipped our minds (so sorry!). I called the front desk and let them know. The woman said not to worry and that she hoped we enjoyed our stay.
Overall, we would not mind staying here again but might look elsewhere in the future.

I found a camera they was attached to the tv pointed directly at the bed! Luckily I stayed alone however the thought was just disturbing.

The Aviation Inn has seen better days. Directly across the street from Nellis AFB, I hoped for better. The most glaring example of the condition of the property was the electronic door locks needed to be replaced as we need the manager to "train" us or how to operate the door locks. Slamming and timing were key. However the shocking requirement was a $100.00 deposit for any damages per room (we needed two), oh the irony. However, if you are just passing thru and want to avoid Vegas action, the price was right.

There was a stain on one of the beds that we weren’t sure what is was. It literally looked like poop. The Wi-Fi was god awful and said the network wasn’t protected from hackers and selling your information. I asked for new wash clothes and had to wait because the front didn’t have a key and the housekeepers didn’t show up. The neighborhood was crappy, the 7/11 across the street had a security officer in it and would only let a few people in at a time. They don’t even do that in Detroit. Felt very uncomfortable being a woman walking especially at night. You get what you pay for. I got this as a package and only paid about $370 for the week, so I didn’t have high expectations.

I didnt have high expectations but i did expect my room to be clean when i checked in. It wasnt. I was given an option to wait ir take a smoking room. I opt to wait since i had to meet up with friendsm i come back to a clean room but the tv had no signal. I went to the front desk and the clerk said to change to hdm2. I went back to my room to change the settings, i had to do it manually because the remote didnt work. I was too annoyed and tired to ask fir help. So i just sidnt use the tv.

hotel in very bad condition
First of all, there is a very strong unpleasant smell in the room which is very annoying for sleeping because even the sheets are impregnated with this nauseating smell.
Then the condition of the room is very bad, the AC filter hasn't been changed in decades and the bathtub is broken and sharp, so we skipped the shower time to avoid any risk of injury and infection.
Bathtub and toilet are leaking (thus noisy as has to refill all the time), walls have stains everywhere, TV is facing the ceiling (weird!), phone no longer has its keys, bulbs are missing, holes in the bed sheets, AC is disgusting so it's healthier to turn it off, the pool (currently closed) is across the parking lot and appears to belong to the other hotel.
I booked 2 rooms and both were in the same condition.
Even if the owners were nice, I can't recommend this place at all.

This hotel served it's purpose for just 1 night's stay. The pics on the web must have been taken 30 years ago because it surely doesn't look like that now. Needs a total update! Lights didn't work, holes in shower area, no tissues in room, pillows were small squares and mattresses must have had 3 owners. This place needs care. Owners were nice though.

Close to the raceway
Hotel is close to the race track. Dont expect much when booking a room here. Took forever for the hot water in the shower to work and then the pressure was non existent. No hair dryer in the room. We didnt even check if a breakfast was offered. Takes about 20 minutes to get to the strip from the hotel. Should be cheaper cost per night with the lack of amenities. You would think being right outside the main gate to the airforce base it would be a good area but you would be wrong. Take extra pillows with you if you like thick ones. Overall the room served thw purpose ww were there for which was to attend thw nascar race.

I enjoyed my stay there. It was a 15 mile stay from where I was going, convenient to book and feasible price. The area is not as savory as I wouldn’t liked but that truly didn’t even bother me. There were many 7/11’s which was a convenience and has Right there when you’re heading out. Staff was courteous and efficient.

This property is in need of a major renovation. In the room I rented the door did not shut properly and it had to be "jimmied" to get it closed - both in and out of the room. Fixtures like limp shades torn and ripped, outdated furniture, and a bed that was lumpy and nearly non-sleepable. The shower curtain anchor posts were coming off the wall. Carpet that was worn and needed a good cleaning. The neighborhood was less than stellar, feeling dilapidated and crime infested. I did not feel safe leaving my car unlocked for even short periods of time.

Room was a non smoking room. Arrived to the room and it smelled like smoke. I had to go to front desk to make sure I wasn't going to be charged smoking penalty. Shower head not attached to the wall. You could see the pipes. When you use the shower hot water is not consistent.

Dont waste your money
Old furniture left in the room, the bathroom was not up to standard. No holder for the toilet paper roll. Toilet seat lid was cracked and falls off. The toilet seat is peeling.

Staff was friendly room was clean. However the many faults of the room outweigh the friendly service. No smoke detector, gap in bottom of door missing outlet cover, bed hard and worn, 2 pillows on King bed, pillows were very uncomfortable, seems paper thin walls could hear everything outside from inside. Not a 1st 2nd or even 3rd choice of Motel but last resort. Would not recommend staying here unless absolutely necessary.

There were 3 or 4 little black bugs around the sink and microwave and one cockroach, alive running along the sink and wall. The wall next to the microwave was filthy with food splatter. One of the shear curtains was missing. The office doesn't open until 8 a.m. and I had to wait 40 minutes to receive my $50 (cleanliness/condition) deposit. Overall I would not recommend this place but it was better than camping in the desert with a tent.

The front desk lady with the ponytail and blue hair heavy set white lady kept my deposit for herself and trying to act ask if I don’t have any paperwork she played dumb very well
