Very good property
The property is real good. Two things to be aware of……
1. There is no restaurant apart from breakfast. However a rake of eating places closeby(driving). Amazon Fresh is excellent for a take out
2. No lighting outside the property at night. Very tricky and hazardous.

We drove in for a concert and it was 7 minutes from the venue. The staff is amazing, the room we had (King Suite) was perfectly sized and the kitchenette was awesome. There is a compass coffee, burger place, and grocer within walking distance or 1 minute drive. Highly recommend. Super clean, spacious, and affordable.

When in Fairfax…
Multiple stays and continued satisfaction. Simply one of the best in locale, service, amenities, and overall decor. This Residence Inn never disappoints. A bit high in price, but for the quality, not bad at all.

Simply One of the Best
Never disappointed with Residence Inn, particularly this location. The best in service, accommodations, amenities, cleanliness, and accessibility to local stores and restaurants. We do wish breakfast were extended to 10am as we missed the 9am cutoff. Also Front Desk should probably ask if you’re ok staying on a “Dog Floor” as some of the barking can be pretty incessant, but we endured without much annoyance.

My wife and I stayed while visiting our daughter at GW. Perfectly located - very enjoyable walk to the mall & museums and right near the Foggy Bottom Metro. Staff here are AMAZING.

Lobby Under Construction
King Suite was well appointed and comfortable. Large fridge, dishwasher, microwave, cooktop. Comfy bed. Construction didn't bother us on 3d floor. Left before breakfast. Good choice if visiting George Mason U.

The stay was absolutely amazing no complaints!! The staff were welcoming and friendly. My daughter is a long hauler of Covid and as soon as we arrived she began wiping down and she found no areas that were dirty not even one bit. I asked one of the housekeepers for a blanket and explain my daugher is a person who has not improved after having covid last year and does not want anyone in the room. She was so understanding and ask if there was anything else we needed. As soon as a person leaves from the front counter it is wiped down. The breakfast we all loved!! There is a staff member in the breakfast area who is making sure the area is cleaned and everything is going accordingly. My granddaughters wanted to stay longer, a place we would stay anytime we had down this way.

Not much parking. Each night we arrived back at the hotel before 12:00 am. but each night we had to use the almost last parking spot at the very end of the parking lot. Also the first day of our stay, the continental breakfast was nice, fresh cut fruit, plenty of hot entrees. Seemed as our stay progressed , the quality of the breakfast declined.

Awful Awful Awful hotel . probably the worst hotel in the entire DC Metro Area . The Hotel has a concept where every room has only one king bed and in the case of our family we had 5 guests and the room was really tight on space . And the Sofa Bed gave my children a bad ache the next morning and a sprained neck . The Hotel Staff is also very rude and did not care to provide me with an extra set of towels or bedding items when I asked them very kindly and politely. One thing is for sure we will not be staying here anytime soon unless the Staff can get their act together and put the customer in front of them and address the needs fo the guests in a timely and polite fashion.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Residence Inn. The room was a nice size, clean, and comfortable. The bed/bedding were perfect and the towels were really plush. Having a kitchenette was helpful and the bathroom was big. One of the things the really impressed me was the fact that there was zero steam in the bathroom after a nice hot shower. The fan is right above the shower, so nothing gets wet - the mirror doesn't fog up at all. I also really enjoyed the free breakfast. There was a nice selection and the eggs were fresh and delicious. The dining area was very comfortable, with big, cushioned chairs. I have relatives in the area and will stay here for all of my visits. I was very happy with the stay and the price was fair.

All said & done, we'd stay here again
Pros: Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Room condition and cleanliness was good, with plenty of room for 4 adults. No daily housekerping due to COVID-19, but staff was happy to provide extra towels as needed. The hotel location was very convenient for us! Cons: The sofa bed matress was very narrow and thin. The king bed was a little too firm for a good night's sleep.

Two things: The TV channels are the worst here. Sports & news, sports & news, sports & news. Could use some popular channels like TBS, TV Land, Bravo, E!, etc.
The heat blows cold air RIGHT OVER THE BED. Perhaps change your filters?
And also their internet goes in & out constantly.
For the price, these things shouldn't be issues.

The check-in and check-out was flawless. I really appreciate the grab n go breakfast. Most hotels discontinued that service; cowering to Covid fears. Thanks again.
I was disappointed that coffee was not available after breakfast hours. A Keurig machine would be nice. Additionally, I was shocked that the hotel did not have an ice machine.
I realize these might be petty complaints, but I feel that these expected 'normal' amenities.

Amazing stay and will definitely stay here again. Great service and even under these crazy times the staff went out of their way to ensure cleanliness. Breakfast was okay (brown bag) so look forward to having their breakfast back to normal in the future.

We stayed in the property for a week and really liked the location and the social hour the hotel offers. The food and drinks served seemed to be better prepared and higher quality than others.
Staff is really amazing - friendly, polite, and efficient.
The hotel is rather dated and in need of an update - at least the furniture that was in our room. The sofa is totally worn, no support. The HV/AC is very loud and disruptive when we were sleeping.

Last minute reservation that turned out to be a lovely surprise. Immaculate room with super comfy bed and THE BEST complimentary breakfast I’ve had at a hotel. Staff was friendly. Convenient to beltway, restaurants etc. Would highly recommend and definitely return.

Very clean and classy. This is a hotel that me and my wife will always stay. A great place to get good rest. The bed omg was the greatest. I just enjoyed everything. Nice accommodations for a 5 night stay.
The daily room and overall cleaning staff made our stay enjoyable.
The in-suite stove top, full refrigerator, and full dishwasher (which is in all rooms) made it easier to not go out and venture to find restaurants everyday during our 5 night visit. There are many grocery, convenient, and drugs stores near the area.
