I really like the convenience of being so close to the convention center where my daughter was having her volleyball tournament. It took a long time for the water to heat up in the shower and sink in our room. TV service was lagging and signal kept cutting out. Could watch tv for more than 5 min before the screen froze

The property was clean and it was easy to find. However, they’re online statement about what kind of cars they can camper is not accurate. They state they can camper anything under 6’8 . However we arrived and were told that we had to find our own parking. The bathroom wall needed to be wiped down from a splatter. Eating and bars are a couple blocks away. There is a restaurant and Starbucks connected to the hotel though.

Room was clean, staff was friendly, and great area to stay in. TV wasn’t a smart TV(cable only). No water bottles in the room nor vending machines on the floor (I was on the 7th) just ice but received complimentary water bottles when requested from front desk.

The hotel was a block from the convention center and there are many restaurants nearby.
It would be nice if the rooms had bottled water.
There is a large homeless population in the downtown area, so be informed.

I am very impressed with the Courtyard property in Austin. The staff is professional and very helpful.
Not sure why housekeeping is not available each day. I understand cost saving but not in line with the expectation of consumer.
Also made no sense to me why the room was listed at a price much lower online with third party versus the rate offered by Marriott.

Very clean facility that smelled so good. The room was a spacious accessible room and very comfortable. The Champion Sports Bar had good food as well. It’s nice that we didn’t have to go off site to find something good to eat. Very convenient.

I was impressed by the cleanliness and professionalism from everyone. It set the tone for my stay. If every experience at Courtyard Marriott is like Austin Downtown, you have a customer for life. Best hotel stay and accommodations in a long time. I highly recommend.

Great spot in the center of many sites of interest, the convention center and the rail.. Very courteous, and helpful staff too. Rooms were nicely appointed with the minimum self care facilities (refrigerator and microwave) which is perfect for business trips or conferences.

The hotel was fairly clean and the members of staff were very kind though there some that did not speak English at all, they did their best to accommodate my family and I. However, I rated the area around the property poorly due to the amount of vagrants around the outside of the property.

Parking Situation
Everything was great but had to either drive to a parking garage a block or two down or take valet for $55 a night. After a long day, didn't want to have to deal with parking somewhere else not knowing the cost. that was frustrating.

Booked with including the parking package thru the app. The hotel had once again double charged for parking, super inconvenient to notify the staff upon arrival then waste time having to correct their error after the stay. And that was the first ledger discrepancy noticed, there is another unknown charge.
The hotel and room were great but this branch could upgrade its ethics on charges.

The Courtyard by Marriott Austin Downtown/Convention Center is great if you're in Austin for a conference. Its only steps away from the Austin Convention Center, close to many of the food & bar options in downtown Austin. Would recommend.

Fantastic room and bath, friendly and helpful staff, restaurant and Starbucks on site, great fitness center and pool, and great valet service. Only downside was valet was expensive at $55/night and it was the only parking option. Their great service made the cost less painful.

The first room I stayed at specifically had a connecting door that had zero sound proof abilities. Could hear next door neighbor partying in the room till 5AM. Also the shower in the room could not turn hot at all.

Hotel was very clean, the room was spacious and in the part of town I needed to be in so I could walk everywhere. I just wish they had better parking options (it was $55/night) and free breakfast. Only the left side of the hotel got free breakfast. I was on the right side and it was $19.99.

Wouldn’t waste my money here again
I’ll start off saying I stay in hotels 3 out of 4 weekends a month, and this was one of the dirtiest rooms I’ve seen in a while. I literally had to get on my hands and knees and clean the floor before I could let my kids and dog play on them. See photo to understand how gross it was. Also website states pet friendly, but when I went to check in I was informed I would be charged an additional $100 for my dog to be able to stay, not a deposit, but a fee. Not very “pet friendly”.

It was very noisy. Besides the runway and hiway noise, there seemed to be some noise from inside the hotel. The staff was not helpful and not very friendly. I asked if there was somewhere i could print out my boarding pass, the clerk just said, "No, we don't have those facilities for guests." No smile.

Very satisfactory not huge value pricey city
The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful - and were incredibly helpful in getting us a cab and in helping us print our boarding passes. The hotel was pricey for what we were looking for and give there was no pool, no coffee or food, we would like say no TV and lower prices.Pool was closed so that was not so great. A shuttle to the airport would also be nice.
The hot water took a long time to get hot in the shower.
The TV was large but we did not have time to use it. The view was not that great but the light adn large windows are nice. The room was nice. The bathtub did not hold the water. It was very clean and the amount of cleaning was nice they came I like every other day. The location is very very good and we felt safe.

The convention center is right across the street, so this is a great property to stay in if you're working a conference. The staff was terrific, the room was nice, and the hotel is in a quiet area.
They have a nice breakfast selection each day, and there is a Starbuck's if you just need coffee.

The overall hotel was nice and secure. Upon check in I was “upgraded” from my booked room to a “king suite”. I was tired from traveling all day and excited! However, the room reeked of cigarette smoke. I attempted to call down but received no answer at the desk as I’m sure they were busy. Since I was so tired I just sucked it up and stayed in the smoky room - but I was not able to enjoy my stay in what was supposed to be a “treat night” booked in nice accommodations splurging for this hotel during a several weeks journey. Was NOT worth the almost $400/ night I splurged on this at all in that sense.
I’m sure if I’d had the energy to force the issue with the hotel staff they would have tried to get me a new room, but I was just too exhausted to deal with it.

Subpar at best
This hotel had no amenities. The restaurant was closed for renovations, and there was no bar on the property. Basically, there was nothing to do unless you left the premises. Parking was horrendous and the valet was expensive and it took forever to get your vehicle.
