The worst stay ever
Woke up with bug bites. No heat. No toilet paper. Loud neighbors & outside until 5:30 am. People living at Hotel. People coming and going all night long. Burn holes in bedding. Dirty room. $74 way overpriced. Rude

The husband and wife that run the hotel is nasty..They talk to you any kind of way..They're very unprofessional..They have no customer services skills..My toilet ran and over flowed, water was everywhere and I had to get it up..They have roaches and lil net's flying around that rooms..They have a Sewer problem...
Living conditions there is not good.. Condemn the whole hotel..

Some people shouldn't deal with the public
Upon doing research on the internet for pet friendly locations this location was recommended. I booked on hotels.com and proceeded to check into the hotel. After traveling all day I failed to see the sign on the window "no dogs" I assumed all was well seeing how the website specified "pet friendly". I was never asked if I had any dogs nor was it addressed online for an additional fee, of which I would have paid. I got settled and while bringing my dog (boxer) into the room, my boyfriend was approaching the room when the lady in the office (red box braids) yelled. "Y'all gotta check out, you can't have dogs here". Meanwhile he enters the room to tell me we have to leave. We immediately started to make other arrangements to take our babies elsewhere. About 10 minutes lapsed when there was an extremely hard bang on the door. Upon opening there was a black car with 3 occupants and the office manager. My boyfriend trying to explain we were preparing to take them somewhere. She was very demanding and aggressive outside the door. Telling us it was too late and she was deactivating our room key and evicting us. I called the police and because it was her demand we were threatened with trespassing charges and had to leave the property without arrangements to stay somewhere. Now we are 5 hours from home and on the streets at 12am. I don't think this is the policy or ethics of Days Inn. I've stayed at many nice Days inn hotels and never experienced anything of this magnitude.

Less than meets the eye.
I hardly ever leave a review for anywhere but felt the need to do so. This was just for one night so no big deal, right? This place has non running partially dismantled cars in the parking lot (more than a couple). The rooms are outdated. There were visible holes. The bed coverings had several obvious cigarette burn holes. You might say I could have asked for another room but I highly doubt it would have been any better. This is not a place I would recommend at all. I am not extremely picky like some but this was definitely not a good choice. I knew it was not the Hilton but this doesn’t even deserve the ratings it has been given.

The place was falling apart. Bathroom door fell off the hinges, shower curtain rod was super loose and dangerous. TILE floor was loose and could easily cut someone. Not only all of that… All the bedsheets had holes in them from cigar ashes. As soon as you walk in you get that smoke smell. For 109$ this was not worth it at all. They should really be pricing way less if this is how they treat the rooms. It didn’t even look like they cleaned the sheets. The floor had this weird sticky residue by the bed. Walls were filthy. Gross gross gross

Worst place I have ever stayed
This was literally the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Where do I start... There was a person sleeping in the check-in that was not of sound mind, the room was dirty, there wasn't even sheets on one of the beds, everything was falling apart, the door barely closed. Literally the worst place I've ever stayed in. Not sure how it's even in business

This property was disgusting. There were roaches in the room and in the lobby when checking in. No closet to hang your clothes, no hangers, the fridge was at room temperature, no place to charge your phone. Everything felt dirty - I didn't want to touch anything.

kept getting locked in bathroom something wrong with knob kids had to freak out just to stick something in door knob to turn it very scary they didnt know how to get out of room to get help..very scary had to walk them through a coaching on how to unlock door while i was locked in.. now what if no one was here no one would here me and i told the attendant i was very scared she acted as if i were lying..i told her i did want room another night since my stuff already unloaded i asked could i have some type of discount she says nope..that’s horrible

I am use to five star hotels so I know my bar is a little high when it comes to ratings. However this would have been a low rating even for someone who has never traveled. The hotel was old and run down looking. My reservation was cancelled and I did not cancel. The staff was nice and I was able to make another reservation very quickly. The towels had spots on them. The bathroom celling had a whole in it. Then later that night we heard gunshots. For me not a good experience

At the time me and family are here. And we have been here a year and a half. It's been nice overall. Price could be better with the time. Family is happy, so I'm happy. Nice atmosphere. Friendly people overall.

I've been staying at this hotel for months it's the same thing as the AC doesn't work as a cable doesn't work every night you can't even get the staff to accommodate you on anything booked for a week here for 375 and they still haven't came and fixed the AC or the cable and told me it's not refundable

Broken ceramic floors... mold... sketchy people. Smoking smell in all 3 rooms we had. Queen size sheet for king size bed. No fitted sheet. No cover (quilt/comforter) dirty pillows

It was okay. Enough for an overnight stay in the city. Check in was very quick and easy. The room needed upgrading. The ceiling was peeling in areas, a light over the sink didnt work, the bed had a bed spring box that makes a loud noise if you hit it, the walls was peeling, the bathroom had crayon marks on the door and the toilet made a high pitch sound when you flushed. The walls are very thin for next door and the people above you. Itwasjust cheap and convenient for an overnight stay to visit ODU.

Stay somewhere else
The room was terrible. Broken tiles on bathroom floor. Shower curtain rod was broken. Towels were stained. Mirror had writing on it. Pillows were horrible. Comforter had cigarette burns. Only stayed there because it was last minute and everything decent was booked.

WORST HOTEL EVER!!!!
The lady that run it during the day was very rude. She hung up the phone on me 3 times while trying to ask questions. The sheets and comforter had burn holes in these from cigarettes. It was supposed to be a nok smoking room. Woke up to a roach on my pillow. Roaches in the corners of the bathroom. Poop on the bathroom wall. Was woken up to people laughing and partying right outside the room and office. 1:30am and no one made them calm down. Dont think your doing yourself a favor and saving money here. Its worth the money to go somewhere else. NEVER AGAIN WILL I STAY HERE AT THIS PLACE! Ive already spread the word to friends and telling them not to go!!!!!!! Wish i could have gotten money back!!! Thats money ill never see again and wasted on a lousey room when i should have went to a little more pricey of a room

Not such a great experience
You get what you pay for! When we arrived I immediately knew this was a mistake. Check in was simple and easy. But when we get to the room no air was on and upon inspecting the room there were cigarette holes in the blanket. It look like they just painted all the walls which you can definitely tell where they painted and where they didn’t paint. I found a bug crawling on the sink one morning. The area is not so savory for my choice of words (if you get my drift).
A lady had the audacity to offer my husband five dollars to take her somewhere!! And he noticed a lot of traffic going in and out one of the rooms with multiple cars pulling up and driving off. The only thing I would say was they did come and replaced our towels twice during our visit.

The rooms are very old and damaged. They smelled like cigarettes and there were cockroaches everywhere, even in the beds. The mirrors had cracks on them. Floors were very dirty and the toilet paper has to sit on the toilet because the dispenser was missing. The window curtains were also damaged and not hung correctly because of the damage.

Falls advertisement I drove from Philly to Virginia Beach expected to have a pool and it wasn't one the room smell like pee and my 2-year-old son found a condom in the bathroom I will never book again

DO NOT STAY HERE! LISTEN TO ALL RHE COMMENTS. I ended up not staying at all. Asked for non-smoking room and it was sprayed with men cologne to mask the smell which did not work. Had my asthmatic nephew with me and my 7 yr old who is alreagy allergic to the smoke smell. They were not going to survive the night there. I asked for a new room and when I went in to check I could not breath with the amount of smoke smell there was. On top of how dirty and disgusting the room was. To make matters worse the door would not close. It looked like some one tried to break-in. RUN THE OTHER WAY!

Run in the opposite direction!
This place was the worst we ever stayed at. Blood on the bathroom door, toothpaste on the sink, earwax/hair stuck to the walls, gross dried muck on the table. The toilet paper was open so we used our own. We used our own blankets and such and used hand sanitizer often. It was a last minute decision to stop so slim pickings but seriously do not make the same mistake we did!

Lady at the front desk was very kind. The room reeked of cigarettes, the bathroom ceiling was leaking, walls are paper thin, people were inconsiderably loud all thru the night. Didn’t get any sleep at all.

I honestly would rather spend the night in prison
This Motel is the absolute most disgusting place I’ve ever stayed in. The sheets had stains including blood stains. There are holes all over the sheets and linens. The place looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for years. There’s a bunch of insects on the floor. I honestly would rather spend the night in prison in that place again.

The covers and under the sheets was a mess and dirty , the room smelled like smoke as soon as you walked in we smelled it , the staff was horrible I kept telling them I had paid and they kept telling me I didn’t I tried to get my refund back they said it wasn’t refundable which is a lie . Any other hotel refunds you back , and I tried to call Expedia and they didn’t answer just hung up on the line . VERY RUDE! and never going back !

Don't do it
The staff was unhelpful. They removed all towels from my room after my first night. When I asked the front desk worker to provide more she had no idea what I was saying. General questions were impossible to get answered. The other residents were extremely sketchy to say the least. Several people were just walking around shirtless. Not recommended.

Worst hotel!
I would not recommend this place to stay for anybody. We booked this place online and their pictures are WAY out of date due to the condition we walked into when we check in. We booked a non-smoking room but as soon as we walked in it was horrible. There were flies in the room. The whole place was nasty. So I took my family out of there. Now they are being a pain in trying to give me my second nights stay refund because we o lay stayed an hour before we left. Hotel is also in a bad part of the neighborhood. Did not feel safe with my two little kids there.

Disappointing
We lowered our expectation as you “get what you pay for” (paid $118 for one night stay). But entering the room was a nightmare because of the strong smell of cigarette (We booked a non-smoking room). The pillow sheets have stains (and even holes) in them (probably washed okay but it’s a stain that’s tough to remove). Bathroom terribly needs updating. We stayed in a lot of budget hotels across the US (even those <$50) but this is the worst. Will definitely suggest to just spend a bit more than book here. If you smoke, this hotel probably is an ok hotel for budget travelers because of the location.

The room served it's purpose for a short stay. The bed was comfortable. It was very close to activities downtown Norfolk. The fire alarm went off every hour. From 6 am until 9 am. It was very scary and disturbing. I don't know rather there was a malfunction with the fire alarm or was that their way of awaking there guess to leave. The room was out of date and could use some professional repairs to the walls and floors.

Very dirty room
The room was dirty. There was dirt on the sheets and bed spread and feces stains in the toilet. After 5 minutes, I walked out. Called them later and was kept on hold to tell them to check me out.

This hotel should be closed and condemned. The smell in the rooms are unbearable. The fridge runs cold,but stinks,U can't store food or anything open inside. The worse,I have seen. Checked out early cause I couldn't take it anymore.

If I ever go back to the area I’ll go there.
The AC worked like a 5 star I was able to rest well. I was checked in immediately no complaints refrigerated beverages, microwave decent size tv I had a comfortable stay.

We were mistreatedd in a very bad way. The owner did not honor the rates of Orbitz. We were charged $50.00 for parking ,and $50.00 for wifi service. Theses services were supposed to be free. We were cussed out by the owner of this property. We found bed bugs in room 117 at this motel. We left and found another motel.

The staff was very friendly at this place. However; this was a very sketchy neighborhood and the room had many problems. I had no issues with bedbugs or cleanliness, but the bathroom door, and front door, had both been kicked in at least once. The neighborhood didn't really seem safe, and there were people making tons of noise all throughout the night (Not the hotel's fault, but a big issue) The room also had a very strong smell of smoke.

orst place ever
It is in the worst part of town. Door was bent from a crowbar and the rooms are occupied by prostitutes and/or drug dealers. Cops had just done a “sweep” prior to our arrival. I left after 30 minutes (if even that long) of arriving.
