I liked the fact that this hotel was in close proximity to the beach where you could park for free. Very nice hotel.

The property looked like a newer hotel. Our room looked clean, but unfortunately our bathroom reeked of cigarettes. It’s supposedly a nonsmoking hotel. I went down to let the front desk know right away because I was sensitive to cigarette smoke & I didn’t want to be charge for smoking fees. He told me unfortunately they were fully booked & couldn’t change rooms for us. He gave me a smoke odor remover spray. I used it & it did help for a little bit, but later that night around 1am the bathroom reeked of cigarettes again. The smoke smell was so bad I had to hold my breath to use the restroom. I couldn’t even wash up properly the next morning. Sad it could have been a much better experience if people weren’t smoking & venting their smoke in the bathroom.

This place was nice, however, I have never stayed somewhere that has such poor noise blocking from the doors and walls. You could hear peoples conversations from their rooms several rooms away. If someone was outside your door it felt like they were in the room with you. So if you’re looking for somewhere to get a peaceful nights sleep, this isn’t the right spot, but if you don’t care then it was great.

My family and i recently planned a weekend trip. Once we arrived to the hotel i was told that there lights was out and i should get in contact with their manager. They didn’t tell us how long the outage would be, if an electrician was on their way or how they could accommodate our stay.

Check in wasn't good. Three room reserved and all of us had different rates, even though we all booked on Trivago. Breakfast was not good. Bacon undercooked (raw). No yogurt coffee cold.

My sheets on the beds had stains on them, the bathtub was not cleaned I took pictures of both. I was told by the lady at the desk she was not a manager and there was nothing she could do. I changed the sheets myself. The other lady i talked to stated she would talk to a manger for me, I still haven't heard anything.

The checking is too late and they don’t even take in the luggage which was very inconvenient. We stayed there for 3 nights and didn’t get any housekeeping! The room was clean which was nice but everything felt cheap! The toiletries and papers felt like they were bought from the dollar store. The towels smelled like bleach. The breakfast was just ok. So, overall I wouldn’t go back there and would only recommend it if you just want a room to sleep because the bed was clean and comfortable.

Nice place to stay. Close to shops and restaurants. Quick walk to the beach. Breakfast was good if you eat a lot of bread and pork. They had waffles and eggs which was all i ate. Ran out of food for the amount of guests they have.

Only part we didnt care for was we stayed a week and our room didnt get swept once. With being at a beach everyday the sand was not pleasant on the floors and when asked if they could clean our rooms i got told tomorrow and never did. Other than that the rooms were comfy and quiet.

Check in was at 4pm. We arrived at 3:35pm. Was told to wait since check in is 4pm. There was other people waiting in the lobby. One was there since 1:30. I get it that check in is at 4pm. But no attempt was made to see if rooms were ready. So at 4pm there was a large rush and a long line to check in. Very inconvenient way to start our vacation. Thankfully, the rooms were clean as was the hotel. A little noisy but I've stayed in worse.

I stayed here for spring break with my family for three nights. The room itself was good but, the service was terrible. They never came in to clean our room, they didn’t have a good choice for breakfast, and we had to go downstairs to pick up our own towels.

This hotel was perfect for me and my friends! We thought the beds were so comfortable, and it was in the perfect area.. everywhere we went was only about 5-8 mins away. Check in and out was easy and the trip was great! I will be coming back to stay again.

Mini-Spring Break Trip
Very pleasant hotel. We actually stayed here a few years ago, and once again, everything was great with one small issue. Just a heads-up that the sink drain in room 209 drains EXTREMELY slow. Other than that, we really enjoyed the quiet, clean, and comfy room. My teenaged son loved the bunk beds! Check in/out was easy and the staff was friendly. My wife liked being able to fill her water bottles with filtered water in the gym. The breakfast offerings were good. We will stay here again.

We did not get our room cleaned and had to ask for clean towels, when we asked about our room not being cleaned we were told they might have too many guests to get all of the rooms cleaned but from the number of cars in parking lot and the number of guests at the breakfast, that didn’t seem to be the case to us.

friendly staff and a bright, modern clean facility. Only concern was a lamp which appeared to have a short - when attempted to turn on it made a buzzing noise, the TV went off and the other lights flickered. reported to desk and was told they had experienced something like that before when circuit breaker tripped. This was the first night of a 3 day stay, and the lamp was not replaced or, to my knowledge, examined.

Lots of noise
Check in and check out there was no guest services around at all for several minutes. Having the only car in the parking lot we were given a room next to the IT closet that made a non stop loud noise the entire time. Aside from this it was a decent place to stay.

We really enjoyed the room and the hotel. When we arrived, we were able to adjust our reservation to include bunk beds - which my kids LOVED! They wanted to take them home with us. Everything was clean and well kept. It seemed to be the off-season as there weren’t many others there, but it was really nice. Breakfast was good, hot, and plentiful. It was also easy to get in and out of the hotel parking lot, and was only a few blocks from the beach.

Great place to stay
This is the 2nd time my wife and I have stayed at this La Quinta. The staff is friendly and professional. The room is clean and does not smell. The breakfast and coffee are really good. There is some maintenance that needs to be done but overall its a great place. The walk to the beach beats fighting for a parking spot and the Chinese restaurant has GREAT food.

The so called breakfast was shabby and they weren’t prepared for the business. They ran out of milk, no fruit available, very limited hit food choices.
The bed sheets were stained. Disgusting.
I had a wheelchair person with me and we could not even get in the pool because there handicapped unit was broken and looked like it had been for years.
The handicapped shower only had 1 nozzle working.
And even though we had the do not disturb on the door- the house man let him self in to collect the towels and sheets without knocking or warning.
Worst hotel in cleanliness, breakfast availability and options, and nowhere near handicapped ready. My money should have been refunded. Will never stay here or any other la Quinta again.

The second day sat of three days the room wasn’t attended too at all like they skipped my room. I got back that evening to my room and called the front desk and it didn’t seem to bother them I was told you can come get towels if needed. No type of concern for the guests being inconvenienced.

Overall this was a nice hotel. The floor our room was on had an odd smell in the hallway. Made us wonder if it was due to a combination of the moisture in the air from the Gulf and the carpeting.
The staff weren’t overly outgoing.
The breakfast they served was good.
Our flight arrived early and when we attempted to check in early we were told it would be a fee of $25.
The number of people smoking in the front of the hotel was off putting, plus the butts weren’t cleaned up.

Very nice property! Very clean and smells really nice like you know that you won’t need to check the beds if the sheets are clean ! Staff also very nice , Paul by the front desk was very kind and professional, he even gave us some rocommendations for some restaurants! Awesome experience inside out!!! Very close to the beach! We checked out early of a different hotel because of the conditions and La Quinta did not disappoint! So much better maintained, clean and safer. Check in was quick and friendly and check out was equally pleasant. We only stayed for one night but I would stay here again in the future. We gave up our beach front view but the I value the safety of my family over some views. The only thing I would change is the AC was turned off when we arrived so the room was 80 degrees.
