Beautiful stay
The hotel is cute and comfy as soon as I entered the hotel smelled so good. Great customer service clean rooms it was perfect stay I recommend everyone to stay here

The location was about the only thing we really liked about this stay.
There were blood stains on the bed sheets, the TV seemed to only have one channel - although maybe there are more but the remote buttons didn't seem to work properly, there were barely any outlets in the room, there were no outlets in the bathroom, people smoking blunts outside of our room at night even though there are no smoking signs all over, then to cap it all off, in the very small and compact courtyard area, there were workers doing maintenance with a leaf blower right outside of our room (about 5 feet from our bed) at 7:00 AM. I understand a hotel requires upkeep, but a leaf blower at 7 AM just shows no regard for the comfort of guests. It's South Beach, people are going to be out late and want to sleep past 7 AM on a vacation. When I brought this all up at the front desk upon check out the workers said they were sorry and seemed shocked about what we had experienced, yet that was it. Nothing offered for our troubles. TBH I would love and feel entitled to a refund. There are a number of hotels in the area for the same or less money that are much better quality.

This property need a serious makeover. I didn’t have running hot water for 2 days. To top it off, the receptionist did not return my drivers license upon check in. I didn’t realize until I was at the airport on my way back home. I called the hotel and they confirmed my DL was in fact there. The man who answered the phone said that the hotel could not mail my ID, he said I had to pay for a shipping label and then maybe an employee would do me a favor and take it to the post office!… I said that that was very inconvenient because that was the receptionist mistake.. he answered by saying. “ it’s your fault. You should’ve checked before you walked away”.. that should tell you everything about this place. I was there for 3 nights and not once was I told my DL was at the front desk. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

Location and price are good
You have to leave the water run on hot for 5 minutes or more before warm up. Floor is sandy. WiFi doesn’t work.

The shower had no hot water; they fixed it, only for it to break again the second day. The WiFi barely worked. The sink had cracks, and the paint job would have to work it's way up to amateurish. The elevator barely fits a single person and their suitcase, eating that you may have a wait and don't even think about disability access.
The fact that they get away with charging as much as they do for a lower quality room than a roadside motel is obscene.
The staff, however, was very friendly.

Great place for the young party people.
Location is great! Near many restaurants and bars.
Downside is the noise. Loud music until 1am and the drunks outside arguing at 2am.
Did not sleep well.

Worked for one night for the price, but honestly probably wouldn’t stay again. “Upgraded” to a suite. Would hate to see what we actually booked. Check in and out was a breeze. Staff was nice. Just kind of felt dirty and dusty

I stayed just one night and I moved in another hotel Townhouse Hotel by LuxUrban, approximately the same price but much better service and very clean
Actually get even cheaper if i consider the the breakfast and the towel service for the beach is included
And the service is great, the receptionist very respectful and helpful

The property itself was nice. As it was decorated in the classic art deco era. The staff was unfriendly, the property was dirty, and there was a lot of sketchy people/activities going on after dark. Cars being broke into, rooms were nice, but not leaned properly.

The building, room, lobby, and bar area were very clean and stylistic. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The only issue I had was the lack of parking— you had to go to a public parking structure 2 blocks away, pay $40 a night for parking, and lug bags because it doesn’t have a loading zone in front of the hotel in order to drop off luggage.

In an area very close to the beach, strip and all of Miami Beach is walkable which is excellent.
Was disappointed in the cleanliness of the room, floors needed to be properly mopped and left foot towel and feet dirty. Water needed to be run for a while to be warm or even hot. Room had some fixes needed like a broken light, cracks in washroom, tub jets did not work, etc. But these things are fine the main complaint is the dirty floors and water temperature.
Service was decent and have no complaints when dealing with staff.

This place was really good for the price. I just wish they had a price list for the stocked fridge and snacks. I’m not sure why the furniture is so low, but it was still comfortable and clean. I loved that it was really spacious with entrance behind a separate room from the bedroom.

Location is great, property is old and not very clean. 2 stars because, the hotel does not store guest luggage until the room is ready for checkin, nor you can leave the luggage with the front desk after checkout.

Uneasy feeling
The hotel itself reminded me of what they call a "1hr" hotel. There is no on site patking you have to park your car 2 blocks away.
Made me feel uncomfortable. I didn't even end up staying.

My room smelled old, the shower had a smell, shower curtain had mildew at the bottom. The floor wasn’t clean nor the nightstand. My towels smelled out. I asked for towels and no one deliver them to room when I was told they were coming. I had to get them the next morning even then they didn’t have any drying towels. This was a bad experience for me.

The property is nice as long as your not on the first floor facing the alley with bars on the windows and a view of garbage and trucks. One thing i never encountered, they ask a $100 deposit for every night you stay. If ypu stay 7 nights, you have to give a $700 deposit. Then they tell you it can take up to 30 days to get your money back. Supposedly depending on your bank. Im sorry but its not our bank its you. You deposit money in an account and it post. If you staying for a long period of time, bring an extra $100 a night so they can hold it for 30 days.

Very unfriendly staff . I had to fight for two days to change the room . They had loud music in the lobby that is located next to rooms in main level. When I raised my concerns regarding having music till 3 am. And also provided with a video proof they took some action and changed the room. They did not have beach towel at least in two occasions . They responded just sorry we are out. No effort to make your experience good . We were three persons in the room but they provided only two sets of towels. Also we had to request for toilet paper. There were not in the room Also they don’t have cleaning service on a day to day basis.I believe they come after the third nigh. Overall it wasn’t a good experience! I would definitely NOT recommend this hotel. Is very outdated, not maintained good, old furniture, always having trouble to open the room door ,….

We paid a cleaning fee in the hotel and our room never got cleaned. The staff was rude and didn’t solve our problem. When we said that our room never was cleaned we stayed there for five days and we also play paid a fee for room policy and they said they will give it back to us in 24 hours, but we are not sure, if is going to happen .

I like the Hotel location. Close to the beach and comercial business. I like the Hotel privacy. You go to yours room by side door. And have security camera. The front desk attendant very kind and helpful. Pet friendly. The only thing I am not so happy it is with the shower. Very little water there is not any microwave in the all hotel.
And you can park your vehicle for $20.00 all day.

I visit Miami a lot and I love this area. I have always seen Chesterfield hotel on Collins but never stayed there. I loved my room it was very spacious the pricing was very fair and I will stay here again. 😊

When checking out the staff was rude. I also have bites all over me. We also had no towel or tissue paper upon check in. This place needs an upgrade. Bathing was uncomfortable, and the hot water takes for ever to come on. Do better.

If you stay at this property you have to put a 100.00 dollar deposit for every night you stay which was never told ti me until I arrived there to check in… Then I was told at check in that the deposit was to be released 3 to 5 business days after I checked out but when I checked I was told it will take 2 ti 4 weeks for my deposit to be released…. Terrible

The worst on South Beach
I never seen a hotel cleainig rooms every 3 days. They did not advertise it on hotels.com . I would never would stay there if there was no cleaning. Staff was fine but Disgusting place.

Poor Customer Service. Went to front desk multiple times and no one was there. Requested towels multiple times and never got them. No landline to call from the room so you would have to go to front desk or calling your personal cell phone.

Overall property was nice. We requested some additional towels because we only have one towel in our room but they never brought it to us and we requested this twice and still never got additional towels. Had to go to front desk multiple times and no one was there to help. There is no phone line in the room so you have to use your cell phone or go downstairs. So I would say they have poor customer service.

Usually well priced. Nice courtyard area. Love room 405- there’s mirrors in the ceiling of the shower. Nice room- not huge but loved it. Hope I’ll be able to share pics next. Last time I was there I requested that room but it was booked. The awesome guy who checked me in The nice guy who checked me in walked me to another room towards the back upstairs- pretty private and awesome. VERY roomy! Be prepared for a mixed bag of customers- sometimes smoking out front but usually everyone is respectful and keeps to themselves. I’ve had nothing but great experiences here and it’s right around the corner from the infamous Clevelander bar

My sister, her boyfriend, and I stayed here for a couple of nights to get away and we had a great time. Staff was friendly and the area was perfect and convenient for everything we wanted to do. Oh, and dog friendly! We got to bring our little girl with us and that made our stay even better. Will definitely stay here again.

Do not stay there, they have bed bugs. I showed the staff how I had got bits from the bugs on my neck. She said she would contact management. She took pictures. I never heard from management. I contact their corporate office myself. They denied my claim and told me to kick rocks…. I have the emails and pictures also. Even before my stay there, pictures of my neck.
Poor management and Nasty Bed Bug Hotel! Don’t do it!

This was the worst hotel experience I encountered. The female supervisor who’s is schedule on the day shift. She was rude, unprofessional and egotistical. She refused to provide her name and information to suggest a chain of command for follow up concerns.

They put me in their next door building the Lily. My room looked like a run down motel. No running hot water for showers. The floor was a slip n slide. I had brown streaks running down the ceiling. It was really bad.

Cheap place gteat location
The hotel was fine, i had a bit of a disappointment with the staff that was there when i arrived, she showed no class the way she carry herself a bit offfor a front desk girl but ohh well, my stay was fine.
