Room not ready at check in. Pool out of order since 11/30/2023. Staff not willing to accommodate. Literally had to wait 15 minutes for them to “finish cleaning our room” 30 minutes past the hotels posted check in. Manager just stood there. Didn’t offer an apology.

Staff at check in was not friendly and did not explain any amenities on site. The website never mentioned the pool/ spa was closed for remodel. Breakfast was ok. Would like salsa for eggs.

My experience @ the Confort Inn
I really enjoyed my stay at the comfort Inn I previously went to another hotel that was in Scottsdale and that was nice too. But this one seemed to be just as nice and it was surprisingly a little bit cheaper and also had a microwave and a Mini fridge in there and in the comfort Inn as the other 1 did not.

My experience here was not good! When I showed up for check in they said they needed more time to clean (I was early so okay) however I came back three hours later and it was NOT clean, I asked for a vacuum because when the desk clerk said he could move me he couldn’t find a room to move me to. The pull out couch bed was NASTY, dog hair everywhere, trash, sheets stained and dirty.
This is a dog friendly hotel (I was not aware, don’t know how I missed that) so the rooms had dog hair and dog food and scratch marks my tv remote was chewed up. I won’t book here again, and when I went to the front desk to complain it was as simple as “well let somebody know”

Everything was great. Would like to see the lights fixed behind the property. Had to park a U-Haul and would have felt better if the lights were working. Would definitely stay again

The desk person was not available upon arrival. He had to be summoned by the contractor that was working on the wiring of the inn. He wasn’t very friendly. I was just to sign and gave me the keys. I wasn’t asked if I preferred lower or higher floor. There was wires everywhere. There was insulation fragments on the carpet. The bathtub had paint peeling from its wall. The lotion container was empty. That must be a bad weekend for this Inn!?
The best part was the breakfast. It’s fully maintained and stocked and the coffee was tasty and hot. The lady at checkout was friendly and wished us a safe trip home.

We overpaid to stay in this property, a whopping $149.18. This property seems more like a motel than a hotel so we should have paid a motel price between $50-70 per night. It was dated, old, dirty, the spring mattress hurt my back and had not enough towels nor toiletries for two people. Just a bad experience.

Room had a heavy scent of cleaning products, something like Lysol or ammonia. Thought it might bother my asthma, noise from young girls talking and laughing under our window around midnight, then woken early by the garbage truck emptying the dumpsters. Hotel is clean but is very old and dark.

Check-in wes quick, and staff were friendly. However, room was unsatisfactory. Curtains were dirty with multiple holes.light switches on wall were dirty. There were hairballs on floor. Thankfully, bed sheets and towels were clean.

The staff was great, the check in and check out was great. It was the up keep/condition of the bathroom, chipping paint. Some of the structures like the pillar made for the room closets were unexpected and kind of weird.

I used a washcloth to wipe up some soda and left the room spotless but was charged 30.00 for a washcloth they can wash . It smelled weird they showed barley worked it was not pleasant plus they tip you off

Consider staying else where.
The beds were old. They were lumpy and just worn out. Our TV didn’t work. Continental breakfast area had their area AC blowing on FULL BLAST, it was so uncomfortable. The AC unit in the room was loud. The people next door were so loud, some even had dogs that were barking.

Normally enjoy Comfort Inn - not this one.
Staff members were all very nice and helpful. The outside and grounds of the property was very clean. Inside the building was disappointing.
Hallways were dimly lit, elevator was so tiny it got crowded with just 3 people, and breakfast was disappointing with hard eggs and very limited options.
The room was the most disappointing - the bathroom was pretty gross. The shower/tub had hair in it plus it didn't drain very well so ended up standing in water. It had been patched with something that was whiter than the original tub which made it look dirty. Patchwork gave it the look of having toothpaste or caulking smeared on that needed a good scrub. I knew that wasn't the case, but it's what my eyes registered every time I was in the shower.
I was wishing for my water shoes - didn't want my bare feet to touch the floor, tub, or carpet. I will try to avoid this property on future stays.

The hotel room was fine. Didn’t have anyway to charge electric devices like other hotels (plugs in lamps)
Shower and bathroom needed some care. When you turned on the sink to wash your hands you smelled sewage.
Shower was slippery, almost fell when I stepped in. The shower head was terrible.

Things that go bump in the night...
AC in the room was really noisy. Every time it came on it sounded like a semi driving through, waking me up at night (but at least I was awake to hear the couple in the adjacent room having sex, so there was that...). Overall, it's not a bad hotel. I would stay there again.

The room smelled awful! Like pee! Yes we stayed with our dog and I’m assuming they put us in a “pet” room but we have stayed in plenty of hotels with our dog before and never have I experienced a room like this before. It was hard to even fall asleep the smell was so horrible. Rip that carpet out and put in a laminate floor for goodness sake!

Wanted a top floor room away from the street noise. Gave us one but it stunk of cigarettes. Second room smelled okay but was on the noisy street. Then the writing of the WiFi password was illegible. Hire people who can write. Check the rooms for stink.

Hotel is old and run down. Mattress was broken down and very uncomfortable. Stains on the carpet. Poor water pressure. Bugs climbing up wall in the bathroom. Door to room from hall wouldn’t shut on its own (like most hotels). The bright spot was the clerk checking us in. He was very nice and efficient.

Our stay was very nice! The room was nice and cool every time we would step inside, which was so great after being in the heat. The inn is very close to Walmart and many different restaurants so we never had to travel far to get food or other groceries. We were grateful for the breakfast that was served in the mornings. The staff was always super nice and helped us with whatever we needed. Our only complaint was that the room didn’t feel super clean. The bed had crumbs and the bathroom was badly stained, the shower head was weak, and the sink drain didn’t work very well. But we still felt comfortable and had a nice stay. Thank you!

The refrigeration in the hallways was not on or was turned up too high. Was very warm and muggy in the hallways and elevator. The refrigeration in the room while very effective was very noisy. After asking front desk clerk how to find the room, he said "you'll see the signs" without any other direction.

We picked this location because it was the closest hotel to the ASU west campus and we were there for a tour. The room needed updating. The mattresses were old and furniture was dated. Half the lights were out in the room, so we had to call for service shortly after checking in. The bathroom a chipped tube and wasn't the cleanest. At least the room was quiet and located close to places to eat. Outside of that, not much to write home about.

The beds were comfy. The bathroom needs work. The base of the toilet leaked, the shower escutcheon was broken, clothes line was broken, and the floor tile shifts. The AC was so loud we had to wear earplugs.

We weren’t able to turn on the shower. When we could turn it on, the water was cold. It never got warm. We reported it. Our breakfast was the worst breakfast ever at a choice. We came down at 7:15 and there were very little eggs and no meat. The coffee I poured was full of grounds.

Frustrating!!
Bed was comfortable, noise travels in this place and the neighbors I had were very noisy. I stayed 5 nights and housekeeping only came into the after my first night to freshen up the room and give clean towels- if this is an optional thing then it should come with a reduced rate for days not serviced, but it doesn’t. Checkout time is 11 Am but the cleaning service really wanted to enter my room on my 1 day to sleep in by tapping their room card on the door three different times by 8:15 Am. Sure now they want to be in my room, not all week I was staying. Frustrating

First at checkin I felt like a criminal. They took a copy of my driver's license then charged an extra $50 deposit for booking thru Expedia. Then we found out they charge $3 per day extra for their energy savings campaign. Then our room stunk of paint. One other couple was overheard saying they could barely stand the smells. The place is only worth $79 per night!

Great place to stay the staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome. Whoever is in charge of purchasing the breakfast sausage needs to reevaluate their life decisions because it tastes horrible. There is no way anyone could eat it and say “damn that was good”. A nice place to stay but they need a better breakfast.

I stayed 3 days and had a travel trailer, I had my trailer unhooked while I went to work at night. I was asked to move my trailer to the back… for no reason. They called my room multiple times and came to the door while I was sleeping to constantly ask me to move it. I asked why and manager said this is not an RV park! I was staying in the hotel not in my camper. I explained I was not going to get up during my sleep to hook up and unhook my camper just because she preferred it in the back and not the front. Housekeeping repeatedly knocked on the door despite the do not disturb sign on the door. Working nights I sleep during the day, it was explained to the front desk to let housekeeping know not to knock on my door, yet everyday it happened. I also now have a 25 dollar deduction from my deposit and was not given an explanation at all. The furniture was completely dirty and gross bath tub has stains all over. So many nicer options out there at that price.. Holliday inn from now on.

Room was dirty and the shower tiles looked like someone slammed into them and they were glued back to the wall. Bathroom lights flickered the entire time. Water leak of some sort in the lobby as the paint on one of the pillars is bubbling and wrinkling. Bed was comfy, newish looking mattress. Breakfast was good. Front desk staff very friendly.

Fire alarms for a couple hours one day that the manager could not figure out how to stop. Fire department had to show up. Then it started up again in the early evening. Stayed there 3 days and had 6 towels. Old bathroom with a screaming shower head. Manager said there would be no refunds for the terrible experience. Not the friendliest person. They had a breakfast which was good. will never stay there again!

Check in was with non professional employees, felt like I was at a dollar store or Circle K. Had to wait a half hour to be able to check in due to previous hotelers leaving late and leaving the room in poor condition, not that anyone could prevent that. The room was in no way the condition I was expecting for the price. Walls aren't wiped down when something brown was dripping down, the window coverings were gross and dirty, floors were sticky and the room had a smell I couldn't identify other than chemicals! I literally bought a candle to help the smell. The bed was comfortable, thank goodness. Just very disappointed! Tried to add photos but app isn't working correctly.
