Nice property the boat slips were quite small and if they would have been mostly full it would have been verry hard to turn boat in the marina unless your boat was un 20 feet. There wasn't much to work with in the kitchen either pots were very limited and no pans were in our unit. The grounds and rooms were nice but could use some work in the bathrooms.

The view was phenomenal! The pool area sat right on the bay for gorgeous sunsets.
Our unit needed serious upgrade to kitchen appliances. At least 2 pieces didn’t work properly.

Great location, in the heart of Islamorada close to dining, some within close walking distance. The unit was a little outdated, but clean and adequate for our needs. The only negative was the moldy smell in the unit which was overpowering.

kitchen could have used more, better items for cooking etc... and grill not working, no propane, promised it would be filled and didn't happen, important because many guest fish like we do and would like to cook there catch on the grill

Great friendly service. Clean units. Beautiful property. AC and humidity inside the unit is a problem. Had to keep AC very cold to hide moldy smell. Not very eco friendly as AC seemed to run 24/7. Also some carpenter ants found inside.

Second time we stayed here. First times at the Villas. Two bedroom townhouse style with full kitchen and washer n dryer was great for a family of five. Great staff. Easy check in. Spent most of our pool time at the Islander. Everyone loved it.
Our biggest issue was the key situation. Several times throughout the week all of keys would stop working. The Villas uses a different key system than the Islander. And there’s only someone in the Villas office during check in. We were part of a group of 18. And this caused a lot of issues. We had to wait up to and over an hour sometimes for someone to come over to make new keys.
We heard their reason for keys not working so many times we could recite it ourselves.
One of the villas had a 3 and 5 yr old that got locked in. Took an hour to get someone there. Almost called the fire department.
They need to update their key system. Or keep someone at the desk at all times at the Villas.
Everything else was great. We also used Clearly Unique for snorkeling and a Sandbar excursion. They run out of the Islander which was super convenient.
The fun crew were also great. Ricardo was great! My kids had a great time hanging and playing soccer, basketball, ping pong and a bunch of other activities.

Our condo was spacious and perfect for our family of 5. The bedrooms and bathrooms were nice and clean. We did not do any cooking in the kitchen, but enjoyed takeout on the dining table. Our condo had a bay view, and the sunset was AMAZING! We spent time at the oceanside resort which is a great benefit to staying at the bayside villas. Andrew in the front office was SUPER helpful with our condo and recommended a great place for breakfast. We appreciated the close parking spot to our condo, and quiet of the property. The villas are conveniently located to lots of restaurant options, shopping, and marina activities. We would definitely stay there again!

The rooms are worn down with bugs. The pool was filthy the entire time we were there. 5 nights, you would think they would clean it once in that time. Service and food at the resort was awful and overpriced. Billing practices on checkout are dishonest and not upfront.

We loved staying here. The villas offered more space and a kitchen versus staying at the resort. We utilized the shuttle service to take us to the resort which opened from 12pm to 10pm. Plenty of towels availability and supplies if needed. Amenities at resort were fantastic. Yoga, paddle board, kayak, tours etc. So many excellent restaurants to choose from within a mile. Check out Lazy days and Lorelies for sunset. We had room 112 which was partial bay view.... beautiful. The beach was not traditional but we loved it.

Horrible I have to kill 3 roaches was so upsetting was the fist thing that I see went open the door the villas are not in the hotel and you’d have to pay $100 extra per night to have the boat in the slot after paying for the ramp because the ramp for the hotel is closed
Really the worst trip that I had to the keys in a manny year!!!
Don’t stay in the villas is not worth it
And the staff manager don’t care

Property is nothing special and they charge you for dock space even though I couldn’t get a boat for weekend because of small craft advisory’s ! So it cost an extra 150 bucks for nothing ! Also I didn’t get any room service or extra towels for entire weekend !

Nice location & clean place
Loved the location. Near many restaurants and local shopping. They have a golf cart that will drive you within a mile or so of the resort. We tried to take it, but it took too long to come (waited 30 min). Kitchen cook ware and utensils were sparse.
Tried to contact the property through the VRBO app to see if we could make minor change to our dates, but never received a response.
Other than those 2 minor things, great place!!

Very well designed and unique. Parking can be challenging, but not troublesome. Nice floor plan. Needs more in the kitchen...utensils, frypans, plates, etc. Easy walking to a couple of good eateries and Bass Pro Shop.

Overall a decent place. The paint and other details could use some freshening up but the facilities are nice. The only bummer was the lack of quality wifi. I had to work during my stay and could only get wifi in one corner of the house and on the balcony. I spoke to management to see if something could be done and they said no. I left a day early and lost the money on that night but I had to move somewhere else in order to get some work done.

We stayed one night there and it was just perfect for a family of 4. Very well appointed with everything in the kitchen. There was also a laundry in the unit. And to top it off the sunset was out of this world!!!
They have a sister property at the Islander resort and we enjoyed kayaks and paddle boards there, as well as the pools. We will definitely come back!

The unit (505) we had was close to the road and the noise went right into the condo. Also very dark. Nice outdoor sitting area. Perfect size for my family of 4 to spread out. Liked having the kitchen for leftovers and breakfast. Beds comfortable. Unit a little worn but clean. Condos were on a small property, but the resort was fun! The shuttle transport to the resort worked out great! I would ask for a condo as close to the water as possible on the north side of the property. Beautiful place to watch the sunsets!

I love the location. It's convenient everything in Islamorada.
The townhome layout is perfect for two couples or a family.

We were disappointed to find out that the Bayside property was a half a mile down the road from the Islander Resort. We thought that the information presented about the resort was misleading and that the two properties were directly adjacent to each other.

The property itself is gorgeous. You can tell that the they take pride in maintaining the area outside the villas. Inside the villas is rough. They are very dated and not well maintained. Our bathroom door upstairs used a rubber band to lock, there were dirty bandaids in the garbage, open sugar packets on the ground in the kitchen, and multiple blemishes on the walls. They don’t have staff at the location after 5:00 pm and we booked for the night later than that. When we showed up we had to use an after hours phone to call someone at the sister resort. They informed me that I never should have been able to book and they would have to send maintenance over to see if a key could be made. Maintenance was very prompt, and friendly.

I loved staying here! I loved the price, the townhouse! Every townhouse has a water view from the balconies. At this location the office lobby didn't open until 9am so I couldn't get extra coffee creamer early in the morning or anything else if needed. But overall I loved it and can't wait until I can go back!!

This was such a quaint fun place to stay. The view was amazing. The main resort was a great place to spend the day as they had two amazing pools and a hot tub. They also had a beach area where you could use the kayaks and paddle boards. Islander Girl Snorkeling also left from their dock which was an amazing experience. Our townhome itself needed a little work as there was an ant problem and we also had a cockroach in our place. My kids got bit by the ants in the night. The kitchen was not equipped very well. We had bought a frozen pizza and there were no pans to use to bake it. Silverware was sparse as well, I'd suggest bringing or buying some plasticware. I never received any communication from the resort as far as where to check in at or how the check out process worked. It would have been nice to get an email with this information in it. Overall, it was a great vacation and we will more than likely visit again.

Great space for family vacation. Convenient location, everything was comfortable and clean. Only problem we had was parking, as only one vehicle is allowed. They provided additional parking at their other property down the street. Not convenient, but good enough. Doesn’t take away from how nice the place was. We will definitely return.

The location couldn’t be more perfect ! Right on water. Brought our paddle boards. They provide a free ride the sister resort which has a nice place to eat and larger pools . The kitchen is not very well equipped- bring aluminum pans and bowls for cereal. The dryer took few couple hours to dry clothes as well. All easy to put up with when you are in vacation ! ;)

Clean property but bad experience with the checkout and billing process.
The hot water in the bathrooms did not work. When I went to check out at 11 the office was closed (business hours were 9 to 5). Looked at my credit card statement and I was charged an additional $260 and no one can explain why. Will be disputing the charge and won’t stay there again. Other than that, it was great. 🙄

On the bay
The setting for this property is beautiful! Sunsets by the pool were picturesque. Sadly, the interior of the property needed a great deal of attention. Cabinet doors were barley hinged, the dryer did not heat therefore, clothes did not dry and the paint on the bathroom walls appeared to be splattered with bleach. The location was fantastic for day excursions in the keys! A little tlc would go a long way on this property.

Fantastic rental
When I booked this I wasnt aware that it was part of a resort called the Islander. With the rental came all the facilities and amenities of the resort which was awesome! The townhouse was very clean and the kitchen was great. Balcony that overlooks the gulf for sunsets. Couldn’t have been better I will definitely be back.

The property is well kept, on site pool, and marina are great. The office is only open from 9 to 5, and if you fish, you have no chance to go to the office, they do have the hotel lobby that is open, however, it is a mile away, and is not the best solution.

This is the second time we stay here. I can say we were disappointed in housekkeping. The fridge was streaked. The dryer didn't dry and there was a pack of someone else clothes left by the machine. There was food in the night stands ( yuck) . In addition , there was a boat in the slip with political messages .... that is offensive. Although, we received one days resort fee back . I would have preferred to have a neat unit.

Lovely Space with Great Amenities
The townhome was very nice. There was a pool on site and they allow you access to a nearby resort property with even nicer amenities. Everything seemed clean except there were dead bugs in the fire alarm box. Being a VRBO host, I look at everything when I travel. Overall, we would return. But attention to detail is necessary when dealing with cleanliness.

We loved it here! We came down during Christmas vacation with the family and we couldn’t have been happier here. It was in a convenient location in the Keys and lots of great food in the areas. The company also supplied more than expected in toiletries and amenities as well! The staff was friendly and the price is definitely worth the stay! Well be back!

My only complaint was the kitchen amenities were very limited. There were pots and pans and dishes and flatware and some spatulas. One very dull knife that would barely cut. No bowls for mixing no foil no measuring cups no salt and pepper. Very limited kitchen cooking amenities. Other than that the place was great.

We had a wonderful 6 night stay at the Islander Bayside Townhomes. We started on a very positive note when we received a phone call from the front desk 4 hours prior to our check-in time to let us know that our room was ready for us if we wished to check-in early. I am a seasoned traveler and I have NEVER had a property proactively contact me to offer an early check-in. Everything was very nice and clean and we really liked the quiet atmosphere. I do want to note that these are townhomes run as a hotel and not a private townhome rental (which is fine), so the kitchen supplies are very basic. Definitely do a quick check to make sure you have the cookware that you need if you plan on doing any cooking before you head to the store. If you do not feel like cooking on vacation, the townhomes are right across the street from The Green Turtle Inn which ended up being the best meal we had all week. Wednesday Steak Night was fantastic. There is also a very nice gas grill at the pool. We absolutely loved the pool area and spent quite a bit of time there. We did check out the Oceanside resort since we had access and it was beautiful, but the Bayside Townhomes pool area was more our speed.

ven when it rains, it’s absolutely perfect!
So pleasantly surprised how cute & quaint the townhome was. Perfect for a weekend away, plenty of space, awesome kitchen & super comfy beds. The location was top knot had! SO close to nearly everywhere we wanted to go. The pool was so relaxing & has a gorgeous view of the bay. The best part was actually the day Tropical Storm Sally hauled through, if you can believe it. We were so happy just staying in our little townhouse, sitting on the upstairs balcony sipping cocktails & people watching. It was exactly what the doctor ordered!

Townhomes were clean and adequately equipped and comfortable. The amenities and pool at bayside were pretty basic, but you also have access to their oceanside property which is much more robust with multiple pools, splash pad, activities, restaurant/bar etc. Overall it was a great family stay and wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Beautiful property & great amenities
My family and I stayed here in June and although there were some shortcomings, the service was excellent and the rooms are really cute so we decided to return in August.
My stay in August was night and day from the first trip. The place is great and offers access to great amenities but the front desk this time was not welcoming or accommodating at all. It’s still a nice place but I’ll probably try somewhere different next time.

Tropical home away from home
The property was amazing! It is like its own cozy little tropical village. The townhome is perfect and had everything we needed, it was like being home honestly. We had 2 adults and 3 kids and there was more than plenty of room for everyone and our things. The property is great and the pool has an awesome view of the water. And it was nice that we could go over to the oceanside resort to use the beach and pool. Also nice hint the green turtle inn across the street has a bar if you are looking for a close drink and food

Islander Bayside - Beautiful pet-friendly property
This is a beautiful, well-maintained property, and we love that we are able to travel with our small dog. It's close to great restaurants and scuba diving, and the Islamorada Beer Company tasting room is just a short walk!

I loved the space inside the unit. Very clean outside and inside even though there was a little spider on the bed. Pool was a little dirty. The stay was nice, besides that. front desk was nice , checked us into our room early. Just a mission with only one parking.
