What a ripoff
For being a ghetto hotel, they charged my card 250 bucks on a prepaid room. Even the residence inn only charges about $1.36 deposit upfront. Its been 2 weeks and is still not on my account.

Bed linen was flirty & staff brought new linen but left it to us to make the beds. No apology or bother to look. Loud & day workers made it unsafe. Dirty all the way around. Horrible experience

The room was very nice, spacious & clean. Having The Box on the property was nice since it was a -40 wind chill outside. Didn't want to travel around. Staff was super nice helping me get equipment back to my Uber after helping me jump my car. This place was excellent & I know I'll stay there again!

Cleanliness seemed okay, at least for a hotel, but there was a big splatter of somethinf on the ceiling. Someone else chose this hotel for me, but I did not realize there was not an elevator and they could not get me on the first floor. This made it difficult for me when alone with my two small children when I could not use a stroller.

My room is by entryway and the door slams super loud and hotel guests hanging outside my room door and on stairs making my dog bark. Also big gap at bottom of my door

when we showed up it seemed like we were sent to a "leftover room" rather than a reserved room. The gal said "let me go check on room 152" and then called back to tell the gal it was ok to check us in. Mind you this was way after check in time so it should have been ready regardless. There were grills out in the parking lot like people just camp out there and there were people smoking cigarettes & weed RIGHT OUTSIDE the doors. At one point when we went to shower there was black crap that had came up from the drain which we believe was caused by the people above us showering and causing it to back up because it was "clean" when we first checked in. Very sketchy area and I wouldn't recommend staying there at all.

Un cleanly room
Bathtub was filthy. Called front desk and let them know they said there was nothing they could do, I had to clean my self and then asked for more towels and they were upset about bringing them to the room. Floor was not vacuumed very well. They would change our room or give us any type of credit because I paid through hotels instead of them.

The hotel was very dirty. My room was wide open when I arrived the floor was wet- had to wear shoes the whole stay. The door did not have any safety lock to ensure random key card couldn’t open. Toilet seat was broken

Be prepared. The place doesn’t live up to the photos. I wasn’t expecting a 3 star hotel, but this place was just plain yucky. We pulled up to a party going on in the parking lot. On the positive side, the front desk worker was very pleasant and check in went smoothly. We followed the scent of marijuana through the stairwell and down the hallway. The room was dark. Ceiling light burned out. No fan in the bathroom. Sains in the carpet. Bugs. No temperature control. Needless to say, It was not a restful night.
We packed our bags the next morning and found other accommodations for the second night. Did I complain? No. Since I prepaid on Orbitz, there was little I could do. Plus, there wasn’t much the staff could have done to fix the situation. The hotel needs major renovations.

Wonderful stay
This hotel was wonderful. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was so good. Full breakfast waffles pancakes sausage eggs yogurt muffins. They had everything. The beds were hard that’s my only complaint. When I come to fargo I will stay here again.

Came here with my daughter. Two different groups of men outside grilling…. No biggie. But they were drinking. Later in the evening could hear them banging on neighbors doors. Someone pulled on our door handle…. Very uneasy feeling here, didn’t get much rest.

People from another room having drugs all night. Very smelly and very noisy. No any sound insulation. Don’t feel comfortable and safe at all.

Our check in was nice the front desk person was friendly and very welcoming.
There was a rotten smell in the hallway.
The room wasn’t too bad. Had to ask for new sheets for the pull out bed because the one on the bed had blood stains on it. I don’t think the room was cleaned very well because there were some socks and hair accessories left from the previous occupants.
Breakfast was nothing special and the coffee was terrible.

Property is very dated. Mattress was old and uncomfortable. Garbage was found in the room from previous people. Tub was clogged with hair and drained so slowly you were standing in ankle deep water throughout the shower.

Shower was not draining quick enough. We had to wait 10 minutes to drain water before the next person could get in to shower. Milk was bad, sour, but could just be a bad batch. The room.was surprisingly quiet considering a bar below our room, and McDonald's drive thu outside. Staff were accomodating. But will probably go to another hotel next time, or maybe pay abit more for a better place.

I was checked in by a nice friendly young lady who gave me a room on first floor so I didnt have to climb stairs, I appreciate that. My room was clean and loved the tub in bathroom. I slept so good and woke up refreshed. This was the first time I stayed here and I really would recommend this hotel

This property is very dirty and old. And for the cost of this hotel....to have to wear your shoes in the room because the carpet was so sticky is unacceptable. The sheets are so terrible quality that they scratch your skin and there is a gross smell the second you open your door. Will not be staying here again.

My first stay was awesome... so i cam back a few days later and rebooked.... big mistake
Was placed directly across from a mans office that was weirdly located in middle of hotel, he chose to leave his door wide open
So everytime i stepped out of my room i had a guy in a desk facing directly at me.
I asked the front desk clerk why would someone place a woman staying alone in this room. She shrugged me off...
I took a pic but for obvious reasons i won't show his face .. but pic below is where they chose to place me in am empty motel on a Monday evening. Felt totally creepy.

Was not welcomed when we entered the lobby. Seemed like we were an inconvenience to the lady at the desk. She gave us our keys and when we went to our room it had not been cleaned from previous occupants. Cleaning lady was frazzled and she told the front desk the rooms weren’t done.

Take better care of your rooms
Door frame in washroom was broken so every time someone closed/opened the door we thought the door would fall off.
The sink would not drain so I had to reach in and force open the drain plug. Annoying.
Small room. At least the room was clean.
The breakfast was pretty good and had hygienic options for obtaining your food.

The hotel was clean, easy access to everything, mall that is walking distance. Only 5-7 mins away to other stores, i like their breakfast they have egg and sausages. The only problem I had when I was there. The receptionist (whoever worked on July 28 at 2:55 PM. She looks like an aboriginal american) was on the phone chatting (didn’t even say I word when I got there, has an attitude, we check in at 2:55 and saying to comeback in an hour cause the room wasn’t even ready when the check in time was 3 PM. But overall everythings good

First off, attendent had a 6 pack of Heineken in the back office. Could see it from the front desk. I got my room in a supposedly smoke free facility, smelled like I am spending the night in the middle of a marlboro red with hints of weed. Just makes you feel gross. Not very inviting, wouldnt recommend to anyone and if j werent so tired id leave right now.

The staff here are very kind. The room was small but we were only staying for one night. The bottles in the bathroom were empty but didn't bother to request refills as we brought our own shampoo/conditioner/soap. Location was great !

Service was friendly but the room was not good small bathroom and jacuzzie and bed was very hard. My husand and i did not sleep well at all. I definitely would not recommend this place. Over all cleanliness was not good.

When we first got in they put us in a room that had not been cleaned from the previous stay. We got put into a new room. The new room looked dingy and smelt like smoke and mildew. The wifi also did not work because our room was too far from the front desk.

The room smelled like cat pee, but was the last room in the hotel (sold out) so we couldn't switch rooms. The TV didn't work; the toilet wouldn't flush, and there was makeup on a "clean" towel. The tables were sticky in the breakfast area. YUCK!!

The staff were super friendly: everyone greeted us with a smile and a friendly greeting. We were there to visit family, so we did not stay in the hotel very long, except to sleep, but it was such a wonderful experience. My family wants to stay there the next time we visit Fargo.

Disappointed With Our Stay
When we got there the room smelled like Marijuana and Cigarette smoke. We topd from desk and they gave us spray. We had a hot tub in the room, and it apparently leaked as my wife took off her shoes and was met with a wet floor. Again we told front desk who gave us a fan which never fully dried up. The room continued to smell and borrowed the front desk spray several more times. We went out bought febreeze and a candle. We were in town for a wrestling tournament and stayed several days. Not once did we get offered to switch rooms or asked if they would like them to clean in and with how manh out of state wrestlers there were most hotels were already booked up or we would have left. Front office was nice but ultimately didn’t help a whole lot. Breakfast was prettt good.

Hair on towels, in the beds and bathroom floor. Kitchen floor was sticky, smelt like cigarettes and pet urine. Uncomfortable beds. I'm pretty sure this hotel is just a traphouse. Advertising with saying there's a jacuzzi tub in the room. Honestly stay somewhere else!!

Very different than the photos looked. Upon arriving and walking down the hall to our room we were greeted with an awful smell of cat urine and once passing through that, a strong smell of fecies. Room was not clean, room is run down and overpriced considering. Wall in bathroom was bubbling from water damage- you could see most of the caulking was gone in the bath tub. Beds were surprisingly comfortable but the bed spreads were not clean with visible stains. There were crumbs on the floor under the bed that we noticed when looking for something that fell. Overall, room just felt dirty.

A Hotel that Offers “Shady” on Plains
Just passing through on a cross-country road trip so I didn’t in the hotel long. What I did notice were the walls seemed to allow sound from the hall and other rooms to travel. I found it hard to sleep with the frequent screeming, slamming doors and the loud creaking and bumping of the bed in the nearby room. I almost decided to go to another hotel due to the receptionist talking to her friend for fifteen minutes while I stood there, made eye contact interrupted their conversation - but was told to wait... in which I left the hotel. When I decided to return, the receptionist was curt and rude. What I found really concerning was when I put my card into their card reader for incidentals - but was told that their machine couldn’t take non-charges... so the receptionist wrote my card details down on paper. When I inquired about what would happen to my card details, the morning receptionist’s reply was something to the effect of, “if you didn’t trash the room you don’t need to worry about it.” I’m amazed that the hotel has as the above average ratings that it does when it makes Motel 6 look like the Ritz Carlton.

The big Dakota suite we had was nice. I could maybe rate a bit higher but All the common areas smelled bad of weed all the time. And the common areas were not very clean. The vibe is a bit of a low end motel. But therefore the good price I guess. It does also have a bar attached to the one end that is open till 2 am

Drugs Being Sold Out Of The Hotel
Well, where do I start. I called the hotel before booking because I saw online that their large suite had a Jacuzzi tub. I asked if I booked the room online (I only saw one option for a suite) and if that was the room that had the Jacuzzi tub. I was told yes. I booked the room, I called back and was then told that no there’s two different rooms and the room that I got is for two queen beds and does not have a Jacuzzi tub, but the room I had did have a tub. I asked what the amount would be for upgrading and I was told that room was already taken for the night. I asked again then if the other room had a tub and I was told yes. Before I arrived, I called back to the hotel and asked them if their room came with pots and pans as the room I had booked had a kitchen and I planned on cooking & wanted to confirm before I purchased all the food. I was told yes when I arrive to the hotel the room did NOT have a tub and the burner that they had in the room only worked with special pans that they did not provide. So I spent $100 on food and I could not cook. When I went down to the front desk the girl told me why would it be her responsibility to provide me with pots and pans. I said well because one your ad says you do and two I called to confirm before I purchased all this food and was told on the phone that you did. the breakfast was a joke. Cold, gross and minimal. Oh, and there is a couple that is selling drugs out of the hotel across from room 151 on the first floor. Stay away!

The room was small and smelled awful, seemed to get stinkier each day. That could be due to the fact that in the three nights we stayed there, housekeeping didn’t come at all. The bathroom had no fan so when you’d get out of the shower it was 200 degrees. The door to the room stayed open if you didn’t close it all the way which doesn’t seem safe. The bar was cool though.

While it was it the worst hotel I’ve ever been to and the bed was decent and it was pretty quiet. The staff was very friendly at check in and out. However, the bedspread wasn’t exactly clean and the bathroom needed a lot more attention. The parking area was very small and the garbage by the front entrance was full when we arrived and still full when we left.

The room was stinky. The cofffe machine didn’t work , missing filters . Body wash and shampoos watered down. The breakfast was decent . Parking was ok , hard time to find parking in the evening. Bed and furniture was decent.

Clean and comfy
My room was very clean, as was the bathroom. The general decor was a tad outdated, but didn't affect the comfort of the room. Bed was wonderful, the heat/AC worked, tv, oversized mini-fridge: all appreciated. Staff was courteous and helpful. The building wasn't especially secure, so a bit unnerving for a solo traveler, but I didn't feel unsafe.
