I was not really happy about being issued a Handicap Room, when I paid for a King Suite Room. I asked why and they said it was oversold so, I got what was left. I feel there should be some sort of monies reimbursed when you aren't given the type of room you paid for. That all being said, the Lady at the Front Desk was very nice but, couldn't change my room.

The staff was great, they allowed us to check in at 11 am. The room was clean, quiet and good sized. The staff was friendly and professional. I highly recommend this hotel.

This was an excellent hotel for our 1 night stay here. Quick, easy, and professional check-in and check-out. Very clean and spacious rooms. Very convenient access to downtown for entertainment events. I would definitely stay here again.

Great, but...a few considerations for handicapped.
We booked a handicapped accessible room. I loved the place, but I woukd have loved it more if the bed was a little taller. It was a struggle to get out of the bed. Also, their should be a low peep-hole in the room's door for a wheelchair bound guest.

A few issues
The quality of stay is in the details. While the rooms were clean it is obvious when in the facility that basic maintenance is lacking. One example is the drains on the ice machines that are filthy, moldy, and look like they have been ignored for years. This is one of the first sights you see as you walk out of the elevators. Makes you wonder what else is not being taken care of.
Rooms are clean, staff good but not great. Breakfast is acceptable and the pool small and minimally maintained. Would stay again but also might try the place next door to compare.

Just so-so stay.
Nothing wrong per se, but the bed was uncomfortable, no hair dryer, breakfast items undercooked, front desk staff not very attentive and you can hear loud people at the pool. That said, it was safe and clean.

This hotel was great for my quick stay in Phoenix. It was only 10 mins away from the airport so I got there fast. The rooms were spacious and nice. I will stay here again :)

We were only there for short time. Breakfast looked like it was going to be extensive but we left too early to enjoy it. Downtown Tempe seems like it was all built at same time (last week) and they forgot to add the people. Homeless people, one very crowded college bar, that's about it. Maybe different on a weekday when all the office buildings are full. But hotel convenient to airport, which is why we chose it.

We arrived later in the evening, check in was quick and easy. Breakfast buffet was delicious with a variety. Room was clean, the only problem we had was with it our room getting humid after 4 showers, we cracked the window to help. We enjoyed the pool after hours with special permission and that was memorable. Will stay again.

I stayed 4 days and 3 nights and the place was nice, clean, safe, breakfast included was good.
If i have to recommend one thing it will be that during my stay no even one time i saw cleaning services or towel changes. That can improve to do it at least once during that time.

The hotel had a really good breakfast, the shuttle to the airport was also good and it was a nice large room, but the beds were very uncomfortable, there was loud banging that went on through most of the night and the soap container in the shower was empty.

We stopped for the night before leaving for Hawaii. When we checked in we booked the shuttle for the ride to the airport and made arrangements to leave our vehicle while we were gone. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. We had a nice breakfast and the shuttle arrived on time. Our driver was friendly and the ride quick and easy. She told us to just call upon return and the shuttle would pick us up to return to the hotel. I can't say enough about the professionalism and quality of the staff here. They were excellent.

Excellent! The gentleman who answered the phone when I called them to notify them of my late arrival, and who also checked me in later that night was cordial, well-humored and accomodating. The facilities and the room were spacious and clean. I was very pleased with the full size bottle of shampoo as I have a lot of hair! Wish I've gotten to sleep longer in the comfy bed! The hot breakfast was great as well. I didn't get a chance to use the pool or gym, but I will if I come back. I'm definitely going to stay here again next time I'm in Phoenix!

Employees need to be better in customer service
Everything was wonderful until my 74 year old father and i went to have some breakfast. The lady in charger of setting up breakfast. She got upset cause my father didn't put the spoon back the way she had it. I do understand that she was just doing her job but that's not the way you talk to your guest. She just was too unprofessional to be so Aggressive speaking to a 74 year old person. room and location is great.

My room was facing the interior garden, which was a really nice contrast with the way the hotel looks from the outside. The guy at the reception was not professional at all.
