I really liked the nice ambience and feel as soon as I walked in, decorated nicely. The employee staff treated us very well. Also the heated pool was extraordinary, comfortably heated warmly. The location is very convenient to many stores and restaurants also near the highway so it’s steadfast to get to the airport! I would have liked a alarm/clock radio in our room, even though our people of the world rely on our smartphones!:) I especially liked the nice amenities in the bathroom/standup shower! Nice place for adults to stay! 👍😀

I have no idea how this property has such good ratings. It is old, tired, beds worns out, with rooms cramped and in disrepair. Our overall experience was poor. There are much better properties in this area. If I hadn't prepaid we would have been gone after one night..

Awesome!
I was at the hotel for business and every single staff member I had the pleasure of dealing with was super friendly. They remembered me every day. Some even asked if there was anything they could get me for breakfast even though I don’t think that is part of their job. I was very much impressed by the customer service- you don’t see good service like that much anymore l.

We had to switch our first room. Smelled of smoke. Room size good. However, not as much counter, night stand space as we needed for 4 people. Bathroom-shower low water pressure, small vanity/sink counter, no hair dryer, needed additional towels/wash cloths even though we requested on our reservations. Only 3 pillows on each bed for 4 total people. Also, requested on our reservations. Not enough lighting. Quiet room, requested away from road noise, elevators & ice machines.

No maid service for multiple night stay but paid full price. Was not aware of the reduced service until I checked in. I felt deceived and disappointed and won’t do it again. I expected more of the Marriott name.

We enjoyed our stay at Fairfield Inn on Chesterfield Parkway, E in St. Louis, MO. However, someone needs to work on the signage and sign placement. We had difficulty locating the Inn after a long flight and then using Google Maps.Larger signs capable of being seen, and not hidden by poles and hedges would have helped us arrive less hassled.

When i arrived it was later, darker in the room, i saw toenails on my bedroom floor. I woke in the morning to notice chipped polish all over my foot area of my bed. They didnt vaccum my room. I notice a giant spider in the bathroom floor.

Just a few maintenance issues
The room was very spacious and clean. Everything was great except a few small maintenance issues. The shower wouldn't drain and there was a crack in the faucet on the sink, so when being used, it leaked water all over the counter. Other than that the stay was very restful

Nice, clean hotel
This hotel was easy access from the highway; check in was quick & easy. The bed was comfy enough and the bathroom was large and bright. I wish there had been a tub instead of just a shower; but that's not a deal breaker. There was no couch to sit on to eat dinner; so we had to eat on the bed - not ideal. there was a large work table, but only 1 chair.

Rooms have an odd layout but beds were comfortable and clean. Large stains on hallway carpets and distinct, strong odor of weed in elevator and hallway one night during our stay. The toilet in our bathroom hummed and vibrated, which led us to request a new room. Staff were kind and responsive and moved us to top floor, which was much quieter. In general, hotel is lackluster, with paper-thin walls, and disappointing breakfast but with a very kind staff.

You must request service for your room 24 hours in advance. This wasn’t explained at check in. I feel that for the price, there should be a discount for someone not servicing the room after them asking for service. The location is nice and the rooms are adequate, though I am not sure that a 20” path to the bathroom/far side bed is adequate. Not sure how that passes fire code for egress.

Great family vacay
Service was very friendly. The room was clean and we appreciated the joining rooms. We had plenty of room for two pack n plays for the kids. Shower was hot and good pressure. Hallways were clean and quiet. Breakfast was good and the pool was fun for all. It was easy to find and close to the highway for all the local attractions but quiet

The hotel itself was great. The room was spacious and comfortable. The only problem was that the TV was blaring Fox News in the lobby/breakfast area. A local station or a sports station would be more appropriate

The room is supposed to have a tub shower combo. My wife due to health issues needs a tub and when we arrived was told no tub. We have used this hotel numerous times with great satisfaction but it is probably the last time for this place

Hotel.com needs to update site
Hotel was really nice and clean. The problem we had was when I booked it was supposed to have a sofa bed. The hotel has remodeled and taken them out of all rooms. Hotels.com had not updated their website so when I got there at 10:30 pm I was told by management. One in our group had to sleep on floor. The hotel manager was so nice and kept apologizing. Had I known there were no sofa beds I would have gone to another hotel.

Big spacious room. 2nd sink, coffee station, fridge, microwave. Beautiful decor. Super clean. I walked on carpet with white socks and they stayed clean!! Night staff was excellent, kitchen and cleaning staff were excellent. Loved the indoor pool and hot tub. Small exercise room to keep mobile till you get home. Thin walls but neighbors were quiet and respectful. Facility being remodeled but it was not a nightmare as it was at another facility. Will return to this facility again when I am in the area. Walking distance to Logan University. Injured leg. Staff placed me on the first floor for convenience. Very considerate. Hot breakfast. Eggs, sausage, waffles. Grounds clean and nice landscaping. Lobby smelled clean. Pray everything remains this way. Plan to return soon.

The phone in 219 would not give me an outside line and I did not have a cell phone with me. When I asked for help from the front desk, they said they didn't know what happened and advised me to use the front desk phone. I did, but it was inconvenient since I needed to make the call and hoped for privacy.

Would give another shot
The hotel is undergoing renovation so a bit hard to rate. We had an older room style. We liked the large suite style and that there was a sofa bed for extra sleeping space. Though the sofa bed drastically needed a good clean or replacement. Location is a little off beaten path, but not too far to restaurants and shopping. Was very quiet.

It was not a good experience. There was blood on the carpet by my bathroom. Pubic Hair in my washcloth. Every counter was stained. I got a second room and it was better, but still dirty. Really disappointed, but it was too late because of my work trip to cancel and find other accommodations. I would not recommend.

The staff was very kind and helpful. I didn’t like that I was put in a room right under either where they were doing construction all weekend long. Nothing on the website mentioned they were doing construction so it was a huge surprise when we arrived. It wouldn’t have been so bad if I wasn’t trying to nap in the day because I didn’t get any sleep the night before but I couldn’t sleep because it literally sounded like someone was drilling in my room. I called and asked when it would stop and they said it would be going all weekend long 10-5 everyday. I was able to get a refund thanks to Expedia!

The staff members were extremely friendly! Couldn't ask for better staff. However, the rooms weren't as clean as I would have liked. The couch cushions had quite a few stains, and possible mouse poop on the pullout mattress. Random stains on the walls too.

The hotel workers were amazing and so friendly! We will be going back to that hotel when we go to st.Louis. The rooms could have been a little cleaner but they weren’t bad at all. I am just picky because of my ocd!! Beds werw very comfortable!! Over all the stay was amazing and the pricing wasn’t bad!!

The staff at the Spring Hill is awesome they treat you like family and always greet you with a smile as you walk in the door. They’re always willing to help. I’m a nurse who works 16 hour shifts back to back sometimes and that’s when I stay and it’s just comforting knowing SpringHill is there for us Frontline workers.

Most amazing guest service!!
We cannot brag enough on the amazing staff!! They make you feel welcomed and actually interact with you and your family! They went above and beyond. Going thru the nightmare of waking up to car issues on a Sunday 3 hours away from home and having to wait 4 hours for insurance to send someone, they made sure my family had food, water, place to wait, and even tried to jump car. Continued to check on us until it was fixed! They never made us feel put out or in the way. They completely helped prevented a complete nightmare! We are in STL yearly at Shriner's. We just found a permanent place to stay when we go! Thank you so much!

The lobby staff was very kind and accomodating. The location was easy access off of the highway and only a 1/4 mile from a grocery store. My only complaint was that it took a long time to get hot water out of the bathroom sink.

A hidden bargain.
Front desk attendant (Ron) checked me in at 3:00 am and was super nice and informative. Room was clean and well equipped with needed supplies. Mattress a little softer than I prefer but it didn’t hinder my sleep. Well lit parking. It’s not a 5 star hotel but it’s perfect for an overnight stay in a good neighborhood and close to anything you might need for shopping & entertainment. Very satisfied.

Part of weekend stay with 2 other couples. All rooms were booked via Hotels.com but 2 of the 3 did not have cards verified at check in, one of them was told by check in attendant that the card could not be changed.

Nice hotel and room
I was very pleased with the hotel and the room I was given. It was a suite, I was expecting to bring family but didn't, and it was nice. The couch area was large with a small kitchenette and second tv. I appreciated the lamps having outlets on their bases. The pool of course was not available not was the fitness room. I would stay again. Oh and I forgot to mention the breakfast was excellent, hot eggs and sausage or bacon. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Just a nasty place
This was the most disappointing hotel I have ever stayed at. It is old and not clean. Everything in the room is very dated. I was supposed to stay several nights, but after just one I checked out.
When I approached the front desk person to inform them...I couldn’t believe his face mask only covered his bottom lip, and the top of the mask was covered in snot and what appeared to be some blood. He would not agree to refund since I pre-paid. Never again.

we got deactivated the access key before check out date.receptionist demanded payment before check out date.we showed proof of email that we booked the room from the 29th to 11/02/20 and she told us we only booked from 10/29/ to 11/02/20 and spent 2hrs trying to reach orbitz on the lobby we had no choice but leave the premises and look for a hotel last minute.we still need an answer why this happen and who takes responsibility and get our money back for the night we got kicked out and payed for it.thx

Don’t stay here!
We had two rooms. Our room was dirty. The carpet was so stained and felt dirty I wouldn’t walk barefoot in it. The ceiling fan had not been dusted in a long time. The toilet seat was half broken and maintenance didn’t work weekends. We we’re told we could change it if we wanted, but who does that. Bed was comfortable and shower was clean. We had actual glasses in the room and when we asked for clean ones, we were told that because of COVID, they hadn’t used glasses in over 6 months. For a Marriott, it was extremely disappointing. My daughters room wasn’t much better.
In addition, we had booked through Hotels.com we were told that the room HAD to go on the credit card used to make the reservation, which was my mother’s credit card. Well my daughter asked if she could use her credit card and was told Not problem.’ So inconsistency in training of staff.

Mostly good stay
We had a couple small issues, but nothing Earth shattering.
The toilet in the room didn't flush well. It didn't take the toilet paper, just kind of disintegrated it. The other thing was that the Decaf coffee in the lobby was never full, even at breakfast. The drops that we could get were cold each time, but there wasn't enough for even half a cup each day. Disappointing, but again, nothing Earth shattering. The staff was very pleasant and the room was comfortable.

Decent hotel but some issues
Good place to stay, bed was comfortable and water pressure in shower was good. A few housekeeping issues though. There was a "blob" like kids putty on yhe carpet near the trashcan that could have been removed. Also there was a bottle of daiquiri mix in the freezer. This tells me that housekeeping probably does the minimum if that.

The staff was incredibly friendly helpful and pleasant. Masks were worn at all times and they adhered to the health and social distancing guidelines even when it came to simplest things.

Great service. Suggestions to make things even better. No trashcan except a tiny one in bathroom really need one in living room. Food options for diabetics, only scrambled eggs and a sausage hash for diabetics which has potatoes. No paper towels or soap in Kitchenette would be good to have, along with dishes. Which might be due to covid, not sure.
