Hotel is outdated, old carpet, strong smell… rooms look bigger in the picture. When you actually go in it’s pretty small, the carpet MUST GO! It’s stinky and honestly in 2024 at the price we payed, we should not have to walk on carpets. Sofa bed looked old, we were 5 we needed to open the sofa bed but instead we squeezed in 2 beds. Disappointing….

Needs renovation but friendly staff
Staff was very friendly and ensured we got our items we accidentally left behind. There was some miscommunication about breakfast times so we missed it. The rooms were a bit outdated and for some reason we only had 1 trash can in the entire room.

Great time with family
The hotel was very decent. The first room they gave me had broken furniture, and the employee asked me to help them bring another couch into the room. I refused because it was a liability, but they switched me to a better room. The service was always prompt, friendly, and professional.

The breakfast wasn't good. No variety. The waffle machine didn't work. Didn't have a lot of food. The hotel room wasn't clean. The microwave was filled with coffee. They had to clean it also the shower was filled with hair. The TV didn't work. I called front desk they called the cable company to reset and it still didn't work.I over heard people talking about the door wouldn't close and the air conditioner didn't work. I was shock for this to be part of the Marriot Hotels. I never had problems with their hotels. Also I was told they were under staff so I would have to request for house cleaning.

Jacksonville, Florida, United States of America - Was absolutely filthy and unsafe. I have video and photos. I contacted the staff upon experiencing violence in the hallway and direct harassment from the guests. They were unruly. Sprinhill was understaffed and overpopulated. The property was dirty and smelled awful. I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN.

Hotel room is falling apart.need new door hardwar
My hotel room had issue after issue. Immediately after checking into my room I went to the front desk to say that the lock wouldn’t move and the door therefore wouldn’t close. The girl working at the front who was wonderful came and showed me I had to lift the lever to get it to work. When leaving in the morning the following day it took me almost 10 minutes to get the door closed doing it the way she said.
There was an odd smell in my room the entire time. On my second nights stay I noticed it was coming from the water in the toilet, so I closed the toilet lid and door to the bathroom. I will add that I was staying alone for business and had no closed the door previously. When I woke up in the middle of the night to use the restroom I found that I was locked out of the bathroom completely. Such a nightmare as I had limited time to sleep and found that waiting for someone to unlock a bathroom door at 3am was not worth the time. Horrendous. I would never stay at this hotel again! Nice staff but the rooms need to be fixed!!
Also nobody came to clean my room and the drawers in the night stands had crumbs. Definitely do not recommended.

SO....they had a fire alarm one night about 1030pm that evacuated all of us for over an hour.. apparently a fire suppression head went off down the hall in 518 and flooded the top floor hallway to some extent as well. We were in 505 and had to listen to fans running for days to dry the flood...and smell the wet carpets, etc. flood went thru conduit and dripped form lights in the lobby too. I think we should not have been charged full price for the remaining 3 days of our stay? Dave Lansang

Check in was great and easy plus helpful. A few issues with lobby ac condensation and equipment in some areas also maids not clear on guest trying to leave which seemed disrupting as we need to get to appts in the morning but could not get out of the way.. but it's a good area and reasonable Marriott with pool and jacuzzi that helped our stay for the evening.

This is a facility that is dated in appearance and functionality and needs renovation pronto. When I arrived I had to wait approximately 30 minutes to check-in because the customer ahead of me was upset with their accommodations. The desk clerk was doing her best so my poor review of the hotel should not reflect on her. She deserves a raise for having to work at such a dilapidated property. In regards to the room, the A/C barely worked and there was no TV remote but I was able to get one from the desk clerk. At around 10:30pm the fire alarm went off and all the guests had to evacuate the building. We had to wait outside for about two hours in the late evening on a chilly night. Needless to say, I will not be staying at this property again.

Weekend stay
We stayed here for a quick weekend getaway with the family. Hotel its self was nice and staff was excellent. Customer service was beyond great. The rooms definitely need an upgrade. The carpet and sofa is very dirty. You can visibly see the stains in the dark colored sofa. The carpet need to be replaced because cleaning it will do no justice. It gives off a musty dirty odor when you walk in the room including the hallways. Outside of the odor, carpet, and sofa it was a nice stay for the weekend.

It was a nice little spot for our family to get a weekend away. Everything was clean in our room and worked as it should. The pool was a bit dirty so we didn't swim in that but overall we were happy with the place for what we payed.

Everything was great except the pullout sofa-bed. It wasn't really comfortable.
The location was perfect. It is close to everything. Restaurants, Costco, Walmart, shopping, the city, etc.
The staff and service was very friendly and helpful.
Overall we enjoyed the stay.

Great property! Rooms are a bit outdated (renovated, yes, but still with carpet that smells really old and weird, and areas that you could clearly see need maintenance like dirt close to AC unit or paint); Bathroom was fully renovated which was fantastic. Service was top notch too, breakfast was great and would not skip it! Lots of good food around too, recommend Oishi and Terra Gaucha. No paid parking which was a relief for FL standards, pool looked nice but it was too hot outside so we didnt enjoy it lol Would certainly stay again

Hotel met our needs. Good breakfast with multiple hot choices.
I was not told that I would need to request house keeping ( bed made and clean towels).
When I went to the front desk and inquired at 5 pm on Saturday, I was told I needed to request the service. They did as I asked but I was surprised.

The front desk staff was friendly, prompt, and helpful. When I apologized for forgetting my key, the evening clerk said “That’s what I’ll here for”. Andy day clerk was extremely hospitable to me and other guests in the lobby. Highly recommend this property.

Property was well-lit at night when we checked in. Only 2 towels in the bathroom and we booked for 4 people. Room was clean and AC was working well. We had scrambled eggs, sausages, coffee, kids had cereals for breakfast. Overall great hotel and experience. Thank you!

Easy checkin, friendly service. Breakfast was adequate with hot eggs, sausage, waffles, oatmeal, bagels, etc. The coffee that was available 24 hours on the first floor was very good. First room was very clean but with a mildew smell that was worse when we got up in the morning. We discovered that the drain under the kitchenette sink was leaking and the floor (which is carpeted) was wet even though we had not used the sink. They put us in another room which smelled better but the couch was filthy with stains from a spilled liquid on the cushions that was still sticky. I turned the cushions over and put a sheet over the couch. Spent two nights in this room and on the morning of checkout this room was getting a smell also which seems to indicate that the carpet and furniture is due a good shampoo and cleaning.

I’ve stay on this property many times. I find it affordable, clean and in a safe area of town. My only complaint on this stay is that my room had the strong smell of Indian spices probably due to the previous occupants. This was the second room that was like this. My original room room wreaked of the strong spices to the point that there was no way I could stay in the room. They moved me a couple doors down and the smell was much more bearable, but it would have been nice if they would have somehow gotten the odor out, especially with it being a Pure Wellness room.

There was VERY LOUD music booming into the room until the wee hours of the morning … kept waking up the kids … kids were running and screaming down the hall with a yapping dog late at night for about 45 minutes … back and forth … woke the kids again … the pillows were AWFUL!!! There was no pillows, sheets or blankets for the pull out bed … the hot tub didn’t look too clean … the water was dark green and cloudy … the breakfast was very nice and everyone enjoyed it …

I can’t say enough good things about this hotel! Staff was extremely nice, facility and rooms were extremely clean, location was located next to everything you could possibly need, everything was fantastic. My only complaint would be the AC seemed a little outdated and there’s a smoke detector light that was a little annoying at night. But nothing deal breaking.

Overnight stay for an event in Jacksonville. Originally booked a king room, but the room we were initially assigned was a 2 queen bed. Phone in that room did not have a cord to call the front desk so they could remedy the situation. However, when I arrived at the front desk The staff were incredibly amenable and quickly put me a new room. The stay was great! Clean rooms and bathrooms, living up to the SpringHill Suites name. Checkout was easy as always. Would absolutely stay there again!

My first and Last stay at SpringHill Suites.
Arrived after a long drive. Got ready for bed and then a Fire Alarm forced us to get up and get dressed. False alarm, but it was not shut off for 30 minutes we sat outside.
People drag racing all night right outside our window all night.
No hot water to shower in the morning. Breakfast was marginal at best
