Ok but

The hotel was nice. The shuttle driver picked us up at the airport in less then 10 min. And he helped with luggage. We had a pre arranged early check in but did not get our room till after 2pm. Front desk and bell staff are friendly. Room was clean. Food on sight not so good. $27 for a plain hamburger and fries, and they got that wrong. Overall ok hotel

Property had a power cut around 5am. Had just stepped into the shower and was plunged into darkness. Could not wash or dry my hair. Power not back on until after 8am. No apologies from staff or anything offered for inconvenience, complimentary breakfast etc.

Being so close to the airport and cruise ships in Miami, this Sheraton gets used a LOT! Lots of traffic of people and vehicles in and out and only limited space. Only two of the three elevators seemed to be working and people were waiting 20 minutes to be able to squeeze into an elevator! Fixtures are aging and need some updating.
Waited a while to get checked in behind only one small party. Had a person in training, which is understandable. The trainer apologized to us and offered up complimentary breakfast buffets for the three of us, which was nice. After I found out what the buffet cost, I was happy to have them!
Worked good for a one-nighter since it was so close to the airport but wouldn't go out of my way to stay here again. Price through Expedia was a lot cheaper than what some of the others in our party paid. Happy about that! :-)

The young lady that checked us in when we arrived was a breath of fresh air. So upbeat and helpful, with a big beautiful smile. A rare find these days!

A real NO-GO
Hotel needs a complete renovation, including employees. Place is old and obsolete. The darkest hotel room, with all available lighting on, I have ever stayed in!! No one even bothers to answer the front desk phone (no they were not busy when I made the long trek down to speak to them in person)!! The food is mediocre at best, but very over priced. The best thing about this hotel is its free shuttle service to the airport. There are lots of hotels around the airport — skip this one!

Do Not Recommend…
This hotel is not as it appears in the photos. Walls are warped, carpet coming up, rooms have a musty smell and something on the windows that do not allow you to see out of them. We were placed in a terrible room on the 9th floor and moved up to “ Club Level” after complaining of the stench. Club level
Is the same as lower levels. The lounge was not clean, there was food waste smeared on the trash can and not wiped up both times we went in there. Tables were not clean. Our room, the heat was AC and the room was freezing. Room service plates and bowls remained on the floor in the hallway for the entire 48 hours we were there. The fitness room was not well kept and the weights were sticky.

Overall it was alright, we just needed a place to rest our heads for a night. I don’t feel the $300 price tag was worth it. The grounds and hotel are rundown and had a dirty feeling. While we were sleeping at 8:30 AM housekeeping (I think) tried to enter the room…

Understaffed, toilet in the original room was broken, and toilet in the room they moved us to to also broke. Had to use the lobby bathroom all evening, night, and morning. Disgusting. Only 2 of three elevators working. No possible way to check out on time. But the food was good.

The hotel is an airport hotel, so usually just clean and easy. But this time, there were dirty face washes in the bathroom, the room stunk of a mixture of weed and mould. We couldn't have the air conditioning on as it sounded as if the planes were landing on us. For the amount of money we paid, it was quite disappointing.

At arrival the valet did not bother to help with the luggage. I did it myself.
For the checkout, the same. Asked by phone for bell boy assistance, but nobody came so I had to drag 5 luggage pieces all the way to the elevators through the carpet by myself, hurting my back in the process.
Some elevators didnt worked, also the AC in the room was noisy and overall the room was outdated, needs more maintainance and a good remodeling.
It was disappointing for a sheraton and a 4 star hotel and definetely NOT worth the price they charged.
Overall, disapppointed.
will not stay there again nor recommend.

Elevator Mayhem
Only four elevators were available one was out of service. Another one would not let you get off with the key or go to a specific floor. For a full hotel, this was most inconvenient.

First of all, entry to driveway is poorly marked. Couldn't tell which way to enter from the roadway. Parking garage is misleading, as
Valet parking is most of the first two floors. There's no elevator from the top floor-third-so handicap is forced to use valet. Upon entering our room, find empty beer bottles in trash-leading me to wonder if the room was even cleaned. Toilets in bathroom are child sized. An adult toilet is a little higher than these were. Will be checking out in the morning and definitely will not be returning. Not a smart move to purchase this place, Marriott!

Great location for airport access as well as access to public transportation. The hotel is older, but the amenities are in good shape. High-end toiletries in the bathroom. Staff was very friendly and professional from parking to front desk to bar/restaurant.

Only a few issues.
3 of the four elevators were not working, cost for breakfasts was ridiculous high for what you received. Did receive free breakfast due to the inconvenience caused by the elevators being out. Dinner on site was outstanding. Service at dinner was outstanding. Shuttle to site was outstanding but return to airport dropped su off at wrong location for Southwest Airlines and on the wrong level.

Not what you’d expect at a Marriott
Our trip from Orlando to visit family was a short one, just one night. However, considering the price we paid for a hotel owned by Marriott, I must say I was quite surprised. On the whole, the hotel had a pleasant appearance and aesthetic. It was clean, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the decor was nice. The front desk staff were friendly and accommodating.
However, almost everything at the hotel seemed to be overpriced, including their breakfast buffet. They advertised it as $22 per person, but when we arrived and paid after eating, it turned out to be $27.50. Fortunately, they honored the lower price, but it would have been nice if they had informed us about this discrepancy beforehand, either at the restaurant or at the front desk.
Additionally, some of the staff members were extremely rude. One server had an attitude and basically brushed off any concerns, saying "it is what it is." Although we were given the correct price for the breakfast, they still kept the original gratuity from the higher amount. I'm not complaining about that specifically, but it does raise some concerns about their business practices.
Furthermore, we encountered a few issues with our room. The toilet didn't flush properly, the bathroom door wouldn't stay open, and the outlets didn't work. Additionally, there was no mini fridge or microwave in any of the rooms. While these may not be major problems for a one-night stay, they could be quite inconvenient for guests staying longer.

Stayed here because in my opinion it is the most conveniently located airport hotel at MIA - other than the hotel that is actually in the terminal, which however is pretty nasty. The Sheraton is basically located right opposite the rental car center, so if you know how far that is, it should give you an idea of where the hotel is located
The shuttle takes 5 minutes and runs every 15.
This is an airport hotel so don’t expect a 5* Sheraton resort. Having said that, the rooms are clean, spacious and functional - my main criteria.
There is a bar and restaurant serving typical food and drink - beer, wine, (mediocre) cocktails, wings, burgers, pizza, pasta - so no need to leave for a meal.
I will definitely stay here again, mainly because it doesn’t deliver any less than any of the other airport hotels, yet is significantly more conveniently located.
And the staff were all Super friendly and helpful.

I stayed one extra night as I couldn't cancel one extra night reservation.

I have not written any negative review in a very long time. I believe this hotel does not deserve neither a good review, nor a silence.
If you don't find have a extraordinary low rate do not stay here, as many hidden charges occur, and you are not -in my opinion- staying in a hotel similar to other Marriott or Sheraton hotels.

for your own good do not stay there
I regret booking this hotel. I stayed before in Sheraton hotels and in Marriott Hotels, I don't know how they have their brand in this hotel.
I wanted to spend a special weekend with my 8 year old son who lives in Florida, booking a Sheraton hotel, so we could spend some time together. The result was catastrophic.
First at the check in they want to charge you around 30% of the price of the night for parking your car (if you drive ca. 10 minutes you will have parking included)!. I guess it is the fine print..... next.....
Only one of the 3 elevators was working, so you could not go to your room to brush your teeth without climbing 5 floors or doing a queue to get in a crowded elevator.
The Breakfast was of course at Sheraton price, but the danish were not fresh and many of the items were same of those offered in hotels that cost a fraction and offer free breakfast. For example some of the pound cakes, and the waffles are same of those of significantly cheaper hotels.
If you see for example the men's toilet on the ground floor had a reparation that you could expect in a cheaper hotel.
My advise is do not sleep there, unless you need to stay there in particular, or if you find a ridiculous low price.

We stayed here overnight before our cruise. I have to say I was wow’d from the moment we arrived. Great service at check in from Alyssa who took excellent care of us. She upgraded us to club level which included free snacks all day/night with access to club room on 10th floor. We had a great meal at the restaurant and Eva took exceptional care of us there. Food was amazing. The Cesar salad was delish! Our upgrade also included free breakfast. Pool was wonderful and clean and fresh towels were available at pool. Iguanas hanging by the pool were so cool to see. They had happy hour appetizers starting at 5 pm in club room until 10 pm. This was a treat after swimming and sunning all day! Shuttle from airport was waiting when we arrived and it was a 3 minute drive from airport. If you are looking to explore the town you will need a car or Uber as there is nothing nearby to walk to, but we were completely satisfied staying at the hotel for the day as they had everything you needed. Super cute gift shop/Starbucks bar in lobby and they had a section for almost any toiletry you may have needed or forgotten. Room was clean and beds were super comfy! No noise in hallways at all and all the staff was super friendly. This will be our spot to stay whenever we are taking a cruise from now on!

I would never stay there again. I stayed for one night and there was small bugs all over the furniture there, I called down to customer service and told them about it and they said they would send someone to look at it but they never showed up. The guys also said that he would talk to the manager and have the manager call me back that never happened either. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

My stay was short and brief(1)night, however that (1) night was exceptional. Clean room, nice bar, good hot wings, and top notch assistance for disabled guests. My sister was in a wheelchair and the hospitality shown to her was more than amazing. She was taken to the airport by shuttle. What a blessing your staff was to my for for just (1) night.
