Nice except for the nighttime noise…
The hotel is modern and clean and overall quite nice. We didn’t hear any of our neighbors, but our room was at the end of the hall near a service bay with a lot of noisy machinery (dumpsters/trash compactors?) that ran on and off through the night and woke us up multiple times.

Slow response time with no sense of urgency. Cleaning team did not turn down room until after 5pm. Showing age and lots of broken and chipped furniture. Welcome was nice but leaving felt very get out and dont come back.

Always a great stay
Nice upgraded lobby since my last stay. Large room, comfortable bed and nice amenities. I do appreciate they have full bottles of lotion and shower items to reduce the waste of the small plastic bottles most hotels have.

Saturday evening there were multiple r ents, one being a high school reunion. The hotel was loud with people blaring music, running up and down the halls and knocking on random doors as they ran by. The hotel didn’t care. When I spoke with a hotel employee at the front desk requesting a partial refund for Saturday evening they passed it on to Ecpddia saying they couldn’t do anything since I booked through a third party. Of course Expedia has to contact the hotel before I could receive a partial refund and they declined.
The hotel itself is nothing special. The rooms have low water pressure, the bed is mediocre and the tv signal kept going in and out. I tried the breakfast buffet and wish I did t. Despite saying they are open to 10am they were closing at 9:30. The food sucked. Wish I had my $18.75 back. Would never stay here again considering their price point for two nights was nearly $600. Very disappointing; avoid at all costs.

Room was absolutely disgusting! They put us in another room which was just as dirty. Everything was extremely filthy, walls, bed frame, tub, lamp, carpet. There was even urine and feces stains on bathroom floor. We asked for a mop or cleaner to clean it ourselves, but they wouldn’t give us anything. To top it off my friend woke up with a cockroach in her bed.

Mulch and cookie crumbs on the carpet in the hotel room near the exterior exit door.
Dark, gloomy, smelly, bad lighting,
Lobby Bar was supposed to be open at 3:00pm at 3:30pm the bartender had not shown up.
Overall an outdated worn building.

Awakened at midnight by wedding party guests leaving banquet facilities, under our bedroom window (room 126). Future guests may want want to avoid this wing on weekends.

I woke up to a moving cockroach next to the pillow in my bed and even more disturbing was that the front staff at the reception, didn’t even seem to care. Do not stay here. It’s disgusting.

Room smelled like they tried to cover up smoke smell with some type of scented spray. We had booked a 2 night stay and gave uo and left after the first night. Even the lobby area and halls smelled the same way.

I visited the DoubleTree in Andover years ago, but it had a decent vibe around it that was enjoyable. This time, each night was like someone had a party and left bottles all around the hotel (not cleaned up) with sticky floors in the elevators and hallways. Coffee had many grounds in it and tasted horrible. Breakfast was decent and they had cooked potatoes with vegetables (onions, peppers, and a few others). Dinner menu is more like bar food. Salad was not fresh. Closest thing to steak was steak tips, but way too expensive. For work, it was fine, but I would never plan a holiday trip staying in this hotel.
Very nice, secluded setting. The hotel has potential. It currently is focused on hosting events and during my stay there were several different companies using the hotel each night and it was fully booked.

Loved the free cookie when checking in. Staff was very friendly and the room was spotless! Enjoyed my time in the pool and overall had a wonderful experience. Will definitely be coming back here next time I visit family.

Great stay
Very clean, comfortable room. Will definitely stay there again. I like that they have a bar there. Wish the lobby bar stayed open past 9:00 pm and that room service was available, but no real complaints.

Overall, the property very nice. The staff at the counter was friendly & helpful with providing things to do in the area. The room was a bit dated, but clean. The bed was comfortable. We used the pool, and it was exactly as described on the website. Note, make sure guest bring their towel to the pool.
My only complaint is the noise level Not sure if there was an event at the hotel, but we heard music late at night (after 11pm) which makes it hard to sleep. Eventually it stopped after midnight. We had a restful sleep. We will go back again and hopefully there won't be an event where the hotel plays loud music late at night.

Everything seemed fine until my wife went to walk the dog in the evening and a man came out of the shadows with no pants on and was masterbating in front of her. Police came and gave a poor effort in looking around the property.

Horrible, booked this trip months in advance when we arrived they did not have a balcony room available which I paid a premium price for. I asked if I would have a discount or upgrade they refused and told me the price now would be more for a standard room. Two days into my 5 day stay I requested house keeping. They stated in needs to be requested the night before but they could request individual needs such as towels and garbage emptied. Upon return garbage was still over flowing and towels were on the sink. The breakfast buffet was cold and not worth the charge, there was one man in charge of every order and he only had one waffle maker & 2 omelette stations. I’ve seen better service at holiday inns that serve free breakfast. When I saw the cleaning lady in the hall she was speaking in English when I asked her about the door not opening she said she only speaks Spanish. The next day I asked her to take the garbage in spanish and she responded in English. This is the double tree part of the Hilton so I expected more. There was no parking and I had to park all the way out on the side lot by the shed. Overall I found staff unwillingness to help, unfriendly and unprofessional. The area didn’t have much around either. I would not recommend this hotel. The only positive I can state was the bed was comfortable.

My family and I were forced to leave by police at 2am tonight by your employee, Casey. I came to the front desk around 1:55 am after I woke to use the bathroom in my room and it would not flush. I asked for maintenance then asked for another room then I was told there was nothing that could be done. Casey was the opposite of helpful. It is almost as if they feel bad about their life choices that landed them working at a overnight shift at a hotel. Regardless the reason, the person has zero compassion as a human. I was accused of being intoxicated which I do not drink because the other issue here is I have terminal end stage liver disease with cancer complications and currently waiting a transplant or I will die. I just wanted to have a working toilet. I was insulted and offended by the level of service provided. I also had no where else to go and was here for Father’s Day to take my family to Canobie Lake park. Those tickets are lost as well. At the minimum I would appreciate a full refund. I will follow up Monday with a phone call to management. Let us hope it this blatant robbery is made right. The police officers that came also agreed with us this was the stupid waste of their time. If it is default policy for customer service to just call escalate and call the cops, then I question this business. I have traveled over 25 years at hundreds if not thousands of hotels throughout the world and never had something like this happen. What a sad world we live in.

Hidden fees were disappointing... after booking and paying in full with expedia the Hilton charged us an additional $63 for deposit. The room smelled musty.

Expected the steak and seafood restaurant to be open, but it was not. I also expecting the bar to have the atmosphere of a bar but it didn’t. I waited an unreasonable amount of time for a sandwich at the bar. It was very brightly lit and loud and not the atmosphere I expected. The pool was nice though.

The stay all in all was fine, but the rooms were definitely not as clean as it could be. We had hair balls on the floor and fingerprints on the mirrors. Also we did not feel to welcomed when we arrived. I don't know if checking in after 10pm was the issue.

Overall the hotel is starting to show it's age and needs a major refreshing. Our room was dirty, hallways and elevator were dirty. No daily room cleaning unless requested. Bed was uncomfortable, springs could be felt. Just an "Ok" stay.

We had a wonderful stay! Only 2 negatives that our room smelled like cigarettes. Also after having dinner at the dinning room we decided to eat out the second night. The dinning room was understaffed the night we were there and the staff seemed very stressed and annoyed that we were there. Also the fire detector in our room needed a battery change so it was beeping so loudly for 2 hours while we waited for some one to come change that battery.

Worn down, dusty and rude
This ruins the Hilton name. It is worn down and filthy. Dust on the lamps and hair on the bathroom floor which was there when we got there and shower grout is all moldy. They are low staffed and those there either don't care or are rude. Worst experience and would not recommend at all. Manager handled it horribly and says since booked through hotels.com I would have to call them.Left a voicemail request to return a call and never did. They need a facelift and a new staff. Man setting up outside patio was nice. Only one. I later found out another two people complained and one person checked out.

The breakfast servers at the restaurant were amazing. Some of the front desk staff were friendly and helpful, one was rude and two others had no idea what was going on. We had adjoining rooms that had exposed nails that you had to walk over in between the doors. The hallway also had a horrible plug in Glade smell.

the sheets had a spec of blood on one of the beds. The most important thing is that my mothers sugars were going low, I called the front desk the girl answered was not attentive at all and I stated if there are any snacks down stairs she was not even on the phone for the first maybe 30 seconds because she was attending to something or someone else laughing. She finally gets on the phone I explain the situation and how I wanted to stay by my moms side if someone may please bring up a snack her response “we have a snack bar down here you would have to come get something” as she continued to joke and laugh around. Over all rude, none sympathetic, and self centered.

Not the cleanest
The rooms were that of a typical hotel 2 queen room. I travel consistently for dance competitions. This one of the few hotels who has not switched over to USB outlets, lamps, etc. The hotel was busy with 3 local dance competitions, a wedding and a hockey tournament. The welcoming cookies that are given had to be people verified. Upon leaving Sunday for checkout, the hotel was we disgusting. There were plastic cups with different liquids in one elevator. Another elevator you had to dodge macaroni and cheese on the floor. From the floor to the check out desk, it was covered in trash. There was a couple at the pool still drinking alcohol, making you question if they were up early or who had never gone to bed. When the cleanliness was brought up to the front desk, she mentioned she wasn’t able to get that far. As I left the desk and walked to the exit, there was a group of kids sitting in the lobby chairs eating popcorn and spilling it all over the floor.

We had a family wake had asked for an early check because traveling from out of state olat 1pm would not allow. In my book that is terrible customer relations! I took a chance arrived at 1 and it was not a problem. Food was very limited and service was fair.

The stay itself was fine, but check in was horrible. I reserved a room online, had a confirmation number but when i checked in i was told my room wasn't cleaned. I checked in 20 minutesafter 3pm. I stood there for almost an hour waiting for a clean room.

Rooms were good size and beds comfortable. Main issue is they don’t clean rooms or replace towels. Requested fresh towels three times and got them once hung outside our door. Asked for bathroom to be cleaned and bed sheets changed twice and they didn’t clean or change once in a six night stay. Doubt I would stay here again given the lack of service or cleanliness.

Quiet, good beds, average cleanliness
Spacious room, quiet location.
Beds and bedding were comfortable and good quality.
Cleanliness could have been better: mildew on bathroom ceiling, cobwebs in hallways.
Like most hotels these days, they are clearly understaffed. I’ve noticed that this level of cleanliness has become standard in most chain hotels. It is what it is, unfortunately.
On site restaurant seems to have erratic hours, surely due to understaffing. It’s probably a handy option when open, but guests should not count on it.
