Great place to stay, excellent staff and cleanliness. Nice coffee shop attached to the hotel which was amazing. Nice beautiful city with many walkable restaurants and shopping areas. Would recommend to others and will be back. Thank you for making this a pleasant experience.

The Dagny experience was luxurious and welcoming.The smell of the lobby and floors make you feel like you are walking into a spa. It’s convenient to seaport, which is a fun, vibrant, and relaxing experience and this is during the winter. I can’t wait to visit during the summer. I was only able to stay for one night this time, but I will be returning. Trust me and stay here, have the Calamari for lunch and ask for the desert sampler at Fin Point. Thank me later.

I am so glad I decided to try The Dagny. Katie checked us in. She was professional, kind and patient. Our upgraded room for our birthdays was SPECTACULAR. Spacious, clean, modern with a classic touch. We were also surprised with a delicious bottle of Prosecco. The cafe was a cool atmosphere with very tasty breakfast options. The restaurant had one of the best oysters I’ve tried. Thank you to all the staff. I can’t say one negative comment!

The hotel was beautiful and very clean however there was a large noisy group in the room next to us/ in the hallway by our room, and the noise kept waking us up at all hours of the morning/night

A wonder stay
The hotel is lovely. I had a very large room and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The lobby is spacious with plenty of spots to sit and work or enjoy a coffee from the cafe attached to the lobby. A wonderful stay!

Had a great say. Location is amazing, close to everything. Staff met all needs including an early check-in and late check-out (which was awesome since our outbound flight was delayed). Room was clean and well updated.

Things were great except for the bedding. Pillows were terribly flat, flat sheet used in place of fitted sheet wouldn’t stay down, and not having the option to turn the heat down were pretty rough. But otherwise this place is fantastic.

No clock in the room. Shower doors wouldn't stay closed, even after maintenance came by. Most of the plugs were so loose, they wouldn't hold a plug. One plug was blocked and wouldn't accept a plug. Room was always dark, because of little light.

Hotel was in a good location for walking to the tourist sites we wanted to see. The oyster bar annd breakfast were excellent Only issue I had was with a cleaning person. I returned one afternoon to drop some souvenirs off at my room when it was being cleaned - door open. I knocked, announced myself and went into put my shopping bags down. The maid came out of bathroom and start yelling, swearing at me and accused me of stealing. She physically shoved me out of the room and slammed the door and told me to open it with my key. When I did she didn’t apologize, just turned and walked back to bathroom. In my opinion she overreacted and didn’t handle the situation well.

Spent two nights and this was a great find. The room was big and very well appointed. Great bathroom! We were within walking distance to everything. The staff was very pleasant and there were good choices for food at the hotel and around the hotel.

There was nothing not to like. The room was really lovely, spacious, well appointed and warm. Well designed and decorated with good quality amenities . The staff were uniformly friendly, welcoming and very much customer focussed . I’ve stayed in many 4* hotels in Boston and this is as good if not better than most, I will have no hesitation staying here the next time I visit Boston, and will look forward to the experience.

The food in the restaurant is not that great. Wifi is not part of your reservation. Separate payment. Their tv doesnt accept mirroring. No netflix too. No parking garage only valet parking.

My company recommended this hotel, being that they always have their business meetings onsite. I came and was unfortunately disappointed. Checking in, we realized that the shower was filled with hair and the floors were unsanitary. We called down to the front desk and they stated that the problem would be taken care of that same day. No one ended coming up to clean, so we had to take Lysol wipes and wipe everything down ourselves. The next day, we were told that housekeeping would clean everything while we were gone for the day. We came back later that night to dirty, reused sheets and an unclean bathroom. The staff was kind enough to offer us a $40 credit for their restaurants, but the food we received was below par.
I wish I could say our visit was pleasant but it was far from that. Disappointed in the empty promises and uncomfortable stay. Would not recommend.

Spot-on Transition from The Hilton Downtown
The hotel has done a nice transition from when it was the Hilton. Was very happy to see that they have gone to the more environmentally-friendly bath liquids as one big container rather than all the little individual tubes. Seems like staff was also perhaps turned over as well—everyone was courteous and kind. We will be back, for sure.

I have been traveling to Boston for years and The Dagny is my new #1 choice to stay. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are well-appointed, the staff is very friendly and helpful, the dining options are great, and the location makes it easy to walk almost anywhere in Boston.

Had a great stay at the Dagny for a long weekend. Great location and walkable to a few Boston attractions (Quincy Market, Faneuil Hall, New England Aquarium, seaport, the greenway, etc). First, I want to say the service was amazing - from the valet to the front desk to the concierge, everyone was happy to go above & beyond to make us feel welcome. The hotel lobby, restaurant and coffee shop and all stylish & clean, as was our room. Our bathroom was simple but that was all we needed. The only minor issues were... there was an unexplained ring of caulk (I'm assuming) around the bathroom faucet & one of the bathroom lightbulbs was out (see photos). Overall, great stay and would love to come back.

The queen sized double bedroom is huge.
So much space with a sofa at the size.

The Dagny is an adorable boutique hotel. The rooms are great - stylish and very clean. Beds are comfortable. The hotel itself is very cool. Gives you a little bit of a Great Gatsby vibe. There is a very cool library sitting room as well.

Hotel is lovely/rooms spacious. Great location. Front desk staff and concierge very helpful and professional/friendly. Tradesman Coffee Shop was awesome each morning! Fin Point Oyster Bar was also very good.
Complimentary waters not provided in room three of our four night stay so had to ask from front desk. Nighttime construction noise was not ideal but not the hotel's fault.

Interior was a cool vibe, very beautiful.Super friendly staff. I purchased a premier room hoping for a good view and communicated with the staff that it was a special occasion for my son. I’m not sure what the other views are but we were on the 14th floor, three windows and spectacular views. So thankful. Concierge recommended several Italian restaurants in north end and they were amazing. They suggested the trolley tour and it was the best way to see all the main points!

Overall i felt this was a very miserable experience. The Hotel itself has a nice concept with 1920s. With the right changes, it could become something exceptional. However, my significant other & I, encountered issues from shortly after arriving, until after we left. From being overcharged and having to deal with accounting for months. You can call, leave voicemails, emails, they just dont get back to you. They didnt properly check and accept payments from third parties and charged me directly, as well. Deliveries are just left on a spot on the front desk, anyone can walk up and take it. The vending machine on our floor was unusable, with sodas filling the bottom of the machine. This was addressed to the front desk, nothing was done about it. Some nights the lobby was packed to the point, that random guests, just started riding the service elevator with things housekeeping left on it. There was no menu options for my significant other, who has allergies. Which is completely laughable, for a Hotel charging over 700 a night some nights. There were a few highlights, the tradesman cafe, the bed and some decor. Overall, it feels incomplete, like its trying to sell an image online of something, but in person, it feels like something is off and improvements are needed, to actually pass it off.

We chose The Dagny for this first trip together in Boston, and are so glad we did. It was beautiful-- from start to finish. The staff are so friendly, professional and helpful, & the doorman who greeted our taxi was funny, upbeat and helpful- and loved his jaunty hat/blazer/vibe. All the areas from the lobby/reception, the Tradesman breakfast/lunch cafe, to the Fin Point Oyster Bar/restaurant and the library were so beautifully furnished, inviting, and relaxing to spend time in. In particular, the Tradesman cafe served impressive giant filled croissants & coffees/teas in a setting with great decor/music & was certainly a gathering place for folks travelling as well as those working in the area. We were given immediate assist for a small thing we needed help with, both that day and via great follow up the next day. The hotel offered truly amazing value, and frankly made our trip as you can walk to anywhere- awesome pubs & restaurants & stores steps to a few streets away-- and each time we came back, the hotel welcomed us warmly again, and to such a lovely pretty spot. We found out later a family member had stayed there a short while ago & had all the same positive experiences/feedback. Thanks to the staff! You all rock!

“Awesome as always”!
This was our 3rd time here since the fall for Bruins games!!! The Dagnhy went thru major renovations n we just love coming here!!! In fact we will be back Jan 20 n our son n his wife also got a suite n celebrating his bday n going to Bruins game!!! We love going to Finn pointe restaurant in hotel n they have awesome drinks , apps n food!!!

Great friendly staff, great location to both Faneuil Hall and Boston Commons/Downtown Crossing and a fairly short walk to TD Garden. Excellent breakfast at their restaurant Fin Point. Had a beautiful room on the 12th floor with a nice view of the ClockTower. I would absolutely stay here again

We appreciated how friendly and helpful the staff was to us.
There was a little mixup with our bill. We wanted to split it 50/50 between two credit cards and that didn’t happen. The person at the front desk during checkout said it was because the room rate changed.
We didn’t know that you need to swipe your room key to go up in the elevator. Fortunately another guest explained this to us. A sign in the elevator would be helpful. It was extremely busy at checkout waiting for the valet service to get our car. Wish there were more places to sit while waiting as we stood by the door for about 30 minutes and it was cold when guests came in and went out.
