Furniture in room looked old and dated. Poor breakfast--no decaf coffee. Service staff was very helpful, front desk needs more training.

Everything was clean, but the beds were very uncomfortable. We are unfortunately spoiled with a memory foam mattress, so the bed was hard. It's a shame because the area around the hotel had a few restaurants, and it was right off I81.

Average hotel working to improve facilities…

My wife and I had a very comfortable stay! Upon entering the hotel we noticed an inviting and well kept reception area, we were also warmly greeted at the reception desk. The room inclusive of the bathroom was clean and comfortable. As far as the continental breakfast, we’ve had better as far as variety of items, but it was still very satisfying.
We make regular trips up north from our southern home and we drive the majority of the time, so we have definitely added this Wyngate property as our way station for the trip back home!!

This property was lovely, clean and updated. The guest rooms had wood/laminate flooring. It looks great but when the guests in the rooms above you roll luggage across the floor or drop their bags, etc., it’s quite loud. For me, I believe carpeted guest rooms are quieter for all concerned. Just my opinion.

Was very impressed with room cleanliness; left a larger than normal tip for attendant. Appreciated uncarpeted floors.
Everyone @ front desk very friendly and kind.
Appreciated 'disabled room' I had requested but was not guaranteed. Someone looked out for me.
The complimentary breakfast was very bad; we opted out our 2nd day. There wasn't much choice and that was pretty poor. Big dining area. I've been to places with hard to find sitting but much larger meal choices.
All in all we came away happy.

Stay away from stairs
The lady who checked us in was a sweetheart. The room itself was nice and the bed very comfortable. However, sound traveled quite easily through our door…our room was right beside the stairway door. All we heard at all hours was that stairway door slamming shut.

This was a very comfortable stay!
This was a great pic of a hotel. It was very clean, to check in under five minutes. The staff was very friendly, the entire place was well-kept and clean. The breakfast had a variety of choices. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was very clean. We will definitely stay here again. This was such a great pick! The only small complaint was my husband was ready to work out at 4:30 in the morning and the workout room was closed for maintenance and repair. Also, the pool was closed for maintenance and repair. I wished I would have known that, because we probably would have stayed someplace else as he loves to work out. But it was a very comfortable stay.

Traveling from Vermont to Tennessee, a late-night check-in, the hostess welcomed the grimy hunters in line in front of us with their musty wet baggage with the same respect and aplomb as any other customer. VERY clean rooms, we walked to Chili's,, for supper got gas a block away, had a good breakfast (Biscuits and gravy), and got right back on the highway. Highly recommend, and a good price, too.

When arrived found out the pool and fitness center were both closed for issues and renovations. Only vending machine on property also out of order. No mention of issues with pool or fitness center mentioned when I booked the property

The hotel looks nice inside and out. When we checked in our room, the room air is clean and fresh. Lobby is quiet and clean. Freshly brewed coffee was provided. Four restaurants in walking distance.

Nice clean place to stay
Traveling north, I needed a nice clean place to stay for the night, and this hotel definitely fit the bill. The bathroom was clean also and the bed was comfortable.

Bathroom very clean, large glassed shower and good water pressure. Towels plush, beds so comfy and four pillows for each bed. Great stay, easy parking and check in service. Def would stay again!

I booked this hotel as it advertised pool and when upon arrival, there was a sign. Pool closed for service. Disappointed as I was traveling with 3 children and wanted to expend some energy after being in a car for 7 hours.

When the AC started blowing hot air we talked to the front desk person and she told us how to fix the problem.
It did work after my husband fixed it but, I would have though that this would be the hotels staff's work not a guests.

Overall very good but the desk clerk while being efficient was not exactly friendly and the friendliness of the reception staff is critical to the first impression of a place. Overall it’s very decent and clean and I would probably stay there again. The included breakfast is basically continental but without meat so bagels, muffins, cereal, yogurt etc, - not cooked.

Why do Wingates have AC/heating units that kick on and off all night??? Room temp cool, room temp too warm… hard to sleep well when units function like that. Older, 32” TVs in rooms. Did like the chair with ottoman in the room!!! Nice after a long day!

We had a comfortable night's stay with our two small dogs. The only inconvenience was that our room was on the fourth floor and we had to go up and down in the elevator whenever we wanted to walk them.

This is a fine hotel in every way except…..the floor in the shower, which appears to be new, is a place looking for an accident to happen. As soon as it’s wet, the floor’s slippery as ice. Were it not for a wall mounted hand fail, I would have gone down. There’s no mat or slip-proof coating on it. Just shiny wet fiber glass. For seniors especially (I’m 76), it’s a hazard. If I’m ever booked at Whyndam again I’ll bring a mat.

Winchester wingate was horrible to stay. Couldn't sleep at all due to car noise ALL NIGHT LONG. I will never go back that hotel. Just horrible experience!

Nice clean hotel. Beds are ok, could use some nice pillows, but otherwise the room was good for travelling with our dog. Very spacious. Area is great, lots of meal options and feels very safe especially taking our dog out at night to pee. Would stay here again.

Best hotel in Winchester VA
Just a great hotel, stayed Sun March 19th on way to NY and Wed March 22nd on my way home to Charlotte NC. Associates are very friendly and professional and rooms are very clean. The fact that Chilis is right across the road is very helpful as well
