Only one working elevator ..... VERY hard time using it at all, so try to stay on lower level! During busy times the wait was unbearable.

Nice stay for the weekend college trip. Wish the rates were better for being purchased third party, although I have Marriott rewards I could not earn for all that was spent which is a shame.

Exceeded expectations all around!
The staff at Fairfield were amazing. From Ireland whom I first spoke with to each member of the staff - warm and welcoming. The place smelled great, the rooms were very clean, and all around a GREAT value. The team at this Fairfield is doing a great job!!

Great place to stay if you are visiting Liberty University. We were there for CFAW and it was very close to campus with access to LUs transportation or within walking distance of the campus. Great room with comfortable beds and all the amenities. Good breakfasts and I enjoyed the cookies in the afternoon.

Great place to stay in Lynchburg
We love to stay at this Fairfield Inn when we are in Lynchburg. The staff is super friendly amd the hotel is always clean.

Room was very clean. Refrigerator was nice and cold. Beautiful view. Beautiful area. People could not be more helpful. If you needed something, just ask. I will definitely stay here again.

Very nice hotel on the edge of the Liberty University campus. Well kept and clean. Friendly hard working staff. The only downside was the breakfast. The temperature and quality of food was sub par. I have stayed here multiple times and it was better in the past.

Family vacation choice of hotel
Our stay was very good. The breakfast selection could have been better; i.e., more of a selection like waffles, eggs and sausage or bacon, instead of an egg sandwich with meat.

The staff here was the most helpful, friendly, pleasant staff I have ever encountered at a hotel and we stay at many since we travel for business frequently. Julie stood out but her co-workers are equally as helpful, friendly and polite as could be. What a lovely staff!

As a Marriott property, it was dated, lacked a safe in the room. Bathroom was lacking proper lighting in the shower area. Tub was old and tub base was stained. Reception was kind and cordial, breakfast was continental but adequate.

The staff was friendly and very accommodating. The property was well maintained and clean. The hotel was located within walking distance to Liberty University, with all necessary retail shops and restaurants within a very short drive. I would definitely stay here again!

Two of the pillows had stains on them that looked like an old blood spot or something. The walls in the bathroom were dirty as they looked like they had blood stains smeared on them or something very dark and smeared.
The staff was very friendly, helpful and understanding of our concerns. They did provide clean pillows and a clean sheet for the bed when he called the front desk.
The staff also said "Hello" when you walked in the door and were very responsive.

This was the worst hotel stay ever!! Our toilet clogged with barely anything in it and they had no o w to fix it. After about 20 minutes the girl told me that I could have somebody else’s room that hadn’t arrived yet. And that when they got there, they were just Tell them to go to another hotel, even though all the hotels in the area we’re booked for Cifaw
We stayed five days and they only clean the room one time out of the five days
The only good thing was the breakfast, and the lady that was serving breakfast. They were very polite helpful, and the breakfast was good for a free breakfast.
We were out of body wash right when we got there and only got one tiny bar of soap to share between four people and I kept having to go and call the front desk because they didn’t have tissues either and we ran out of towels after the first day
The front desk girls were super rude every time we needed something.
We would try to call downstairs, and the phone was so static ky you could barely hear
I will never stay at this hotel again ever

The lady at the front desk (I did not catch her name and I wish I had) was probably the nicest hotel employee I have ever met. The hotel was beautiful, clean, and our room was VERY nice for the price we paid. The only complaint I had was a moisture smell when we first entered our room - but that is to be expected when the air is turned off when not occupied. 10/10 recommend! We'll be staying here when we visit Lynchburg again!

Staff was very friendly and professional.
The mechanicals were very noisy and reminded me of cheap appliances (AC/Heater, refrigerator and bathroom fan). I had trouble sleeping due to the noise level.

Everything was great but when we checked in and got to our room we realized the bathroom floor was covered in water due to a backed up shower and had to switch rooms. The staff handled it quickly but we were no longer right next to our other room we had reserved

The hotel was great. The pool was a bit over chlorinated and there were small globs of hair around the pool. The shower tub is peeling paint and had hair in it upon arrival. The head board faces were not cleaned either, they were very dirty.

Lynchburg Review
Front desk staff was amazing. Very helpful and friendly. Facility is starting to show signs of wear and tear. Not terrible but I'm very discerning and notice the small things. Room was good size and appropriately arranged. TV was a bit old and small for the room. Power strips were inoperative and remote was not in the room. Maintenance was very quick and friendly and resolved the remote problem but could not resolve the power strip. I was able to crawl under the desk to plug the computer in.

The hotel desk clerk at check in did not seem friendly and appeared to be having a bad day. The room was comfortable, but was very bare. I liked having access to youtube via the TV was nice. The daily breakfast was nice.

The receptionist, Julie was extremely helpful. She is exactly the kind of employee any business would benefit from having. I can't say enough about her. She made our whole stay safe. She kept us up to date on the tornado warnings and helped us understand the current weather circumstances. Loud applause for Julie!

Wonderful easy check in and out. Pool was warm and cool with the changing lights. Walls were alittle thin, but we slept fine! Breakfast was great to start our day.

Nice hotel, close to campus
The hotel was great. Clean, easy access to LU, beautiful campus view. The only drawback, and this is not Fairfield's fault, is one of our neighbors must have been smoking weed multiple times a day and the smell leaked into our room.

Everything was excellent EXCEPT I did not receive a wake up call. The second shift attendant has served me in the past and has been very dependable. I reported the incident to the morning attendant. There may be a technical problem with the phone system.

I would have given excellent for everything but the breakfast was still limited. They have no bagels or breads and they individually were serving any eggs or sausage (anything that would use a tongs) but we could open the fridge ourselves for a yogurt and serve ourselves coffee. It was silly.
