Staff member at the front desk was very helpful and accommodating. This is a very nice hotel. I have been coming here about twice a year for 7 years and I have never been disappointed.

Go to the holiday inn. This place is outdated
The ladies up front are rude . There’s never towels by the pool. There were kids and adults slipping and falling all over the lobby asking for towels because when you call nobody actual brings them. There was throw up in the elevator and when we told the front desk nothing was done . It was there the next morning . I’ve stayed at plenty of hotels in the area . I recommend the holiday inn express instead . Rooms are bigger, cleaner, and the staff is AMAZING. The sign for the room numbers kept falling off the wall.. wall paper was peeling and the door bottom of the bathroom was bubbling from the shower leaking . For how expensive this hotel is priced it’s not as good as any other hotel in the area . I went here about 7 years ago and it was beautiful. I don’t know what happened but it’s really a shame nobody’s kept up with it. The only staff who wasn’t rude was the kitchen staff in the morning . That women was wonderful and asked about my kids every morning we woke up and had breakfast. She’s great . Update your rooms and your staff .

Pleasant stay
We had a very short stay here, but everything was great. The staff were all very friendly. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice place to stay.
We had an excellent stay at this hotel. The room was great and we enjoyed the breakfast. I rated everything as excellent except for eco-friendliness because of all the Styrofoam and plastic used to serve breakfast.

Unfortunate cold shower!

Wonderful Hotel!
Wonderful!! Clean room, ready on time, the front desk lady was the absolute sweetest. I loved the dove products and how clean and fresh everything was. Bed was also very comfortable. I will 100% stay here again!

No complaints here! Everything was great! Heat and water pressure were on point. The hotel and specifically our room was clean. Staff were friendly and attentive. Breakfast was good. We will definitely be staying here again next time!

This was our third stay at this particular Wingate by Wyndham, and it continues to be one of our favorite hotels! The property is always clean, and all of the staff are very courteous and friendly. A special shout out to Jovan and Greg, who are an absolute delight to interact with! I highly recommend this hotel to one and all!

Very crisp interior design. Clean from top to bottom. Very good breakfast offerings. Nice and quiet in public spaces and within the room.

The carpet has several dirty spots or stains. Either way, if they cared, they could easily shampoo out the stains. I even tried to move rooms, but the other room had carpet stains, too. Also, the shower backed up. Just gross.

I have never in my life been to a hotel where if there was an issue in the room (i.e.a clogged toilet), the guests were expected to fix it themselves.
Breakfast area was great. Very classy looking hotel lobby.
Room seemed decently nice but the heater was disgustingly filthy

Front desk staff was very nice and accommodating! Room wasn’t ready when I checked in, but they made sure to get it done as fast as they could. Even got a complimentary glass of lemonade and even a Snickers bar for having to wait a bit for the room! Thank you for that!

I was so impressed when I walked in. The staff were so friendly. The beauty of the Hotel was astonishing. Nice pool inside, spa, free breakfast and the quietness and spacious room of our hotel room. I didn’t like that they charged for incidentals and even though no incidentals were used, they kept the money. It’s supposed to be a deposit ie should be returned.

The accessible room was very nice. Loved the amount of grab bars in the tub shower.

I know they were doing construction, but i think they had people cleaning all the rooms around us, and they were a little noisy/the walls are just super thin. Kept waking me up on and off from 7-9AM. I know they have to do their jobs though so obviously I don’t care that much.

i would have been nice to know at reservation time that hotel was being worked on, which there was a varnish smell in hallway each day crewmen were working on roof, a_c unit was too close to bed and darkening curtains did not close completely

One Night Stay
I had a very positive experience at the Wingate. The front desk personal were friendly and helpful but most importantly had a smile on their faces. Very professional.check in was easy and every effort was made to meet my request to have a room close to my family. The room was beautiful and clean and quiet. I would most definetly stay again!

I would have given this hotel the best review. Unfortunately, when we checked out, we forgot our 3 jackets in the room closet. I called back within 2 hours of check out ( before the room would even be cleaned) so they could inform housekeeping. Sadly, I never recieved a call back stating they had them. I called the next day, never recieved a call again. After the 3rd day called, I was called back and was told nothing was found. Yes ,it was our fault that we forgot them. But its sad that housekeeping wasnt honest in finding them.

Out of everything i love their breakfast! It would be nice if they have more selections but all foods are very fresh and tasty! Maria is the one i met who us cooking and preparing the breakfast. She was very kind. This was my third time using this hotel but i would definitely go back there again whenever i visit Chicago!❤️Thank you Maria for amazing breakfast!

The water in the pool was very cold. They sent someone to see if it could be warmer but he said it was at the optimum temperature ( 83 degrees) to keep the correct balance of chemicals in the water safe. The hot tub was nice and warm, but our grandkids ( 3 and 17 months) and our disabled daughter, got too cold to swim in the pool,
and that was the purpose of our visit .

Screaming kids in pool could be heard throughout the hotel…even well after the pool was supposed to be closed.

Nice Rooms & Front Desk staff is responsive
I was a lil concerned w/pool party noise and kids running the halls. You sign a notice that it is not permitted after 9 pm. Sure enough,
I didn’t hear a peep thru the overnight hours. I rested comfortably.
I had an issue w/internet. An internet team called immediately, walked me thru & bumped up my speed. For my trouble, front desk gave me a free future night stay. I was impressed!!!
