Not prepared for 3rd person. Dirty, spotted pull out sofa mattress. Pull out mattress like sleeping on springs. Room by elevator they do not tell you about. Just not a comfortable, enjoyable experience all around.

Very crappy place to stay. Please stay away from this hotel.
Cleanliness is an issue, customer service level is under zero, and above all, discrimination seems to be part of their culture.
I checked in on dec 30, 2023 around midnight with my kids. Upon arriving in our room, we noticed that we couldn't use the shower, as the tap was too hard to pull. The same night I called the front desk attendant and asked for a room changed. She said she would send somebody the next morning to fix the shower. The day after, because nobody had shown up, I had to call the Front Desk back at 11 am and insisted that we be put in another room with a good bathroom. They sent me a Maintenance guy a few minutes later. The guy showed up, extremely rude, a blue-collar guy who obviously doensn't fit at all in an hospitality environment. The rude man could finally, not without struggle, pull the handle of the shower. Then he stared at me from head to toe (I am black) and told me: "Bathrooms are like this in all hotels. You guys just need to learn how to use a shower."
I have been traveling all over the world since I was sixteen and I am a former Hilton employee in addition.
At the end, I had to use the defective shower during my entire stay. Thank God I was staying only 2 days.
Not only this hotel is very far from meeting the standards of Best Western, but the level of discrmination there is also alarming.
My stay there was nothing but a horrible nightmare.

We originally were given a room next to the elevator which was quite noisy so they moved us. In the new room we turn the TV on and it didn't work. Has to call and have the maintenance person come fix it.
Then had a terrible dinner in the restaurant. We had to actually leave without eating the food! Manager was very apologetic and tried to give up something else. The food was cold and the hamburger was not as described in the menu. Very disappointed as we had previously stayed here and ate at the restaurant and were looking forward to coming back here.

I arranged in advance a room on the first floor and when I arrived I was assigned the third floor. The automatic coffee machine on the first floor was out of coffee and I was told it would be replenished in the morning. These two items are enough for me to never book a room with this chain again.

This place absolutely beautiful for our in Boston, the breakfast bar was amazing. So much different variety of food. Also they have a restaurant so everything was right there would recommend anyone that wants to stay in Boston to go there.

Awful - shower knob didn't work and no hot water
Wanted to go take a shower and you couldn't even pull the shower knob It would not go You had to use all your might. I couldn't even get it my husband had to pull as hard as he could. and then no hot water and if we had hot water it took over a half hour to even get it.
The mini fridge was awful nothing stayed cold. For a nice looking hotel.
Breakfast was awful. Cold eggs and barely any options.
The snack cabinet they had - had absolutely nothing in it besides a few drinks and chips.

Solo Adventure
This hotel was convenient with a great restaurant right on the premises. I was greeted with smiles and everyone was very helpful. I stayed here to travel spots from Waltham to Cape Cod and then Boston the next day.
Breakfast was GREAT and the 24/7 hot drink options were so nice!! I would recommend!

I like that it had a tavern connected to hotel.It wasnt anything that i didnt like staff was very friendly and helpful. I will be visiting again when in town. I did have one issue but it had nothing to do with anyone there, it was because i couldnt recieve rewards because i used 3rd party which wasnt a big issue but it was good that i found out for the future.

Paid for services that I did not receive. I paid for two double beds balcony room and upon arrival told me they did not have any balcony double beds available. I was forced after already being charged by the hotel/Expedia to stay in a room that I did not want. I drove from out of state for 3 hours to receive this horrible treatment. When I called to speak to manager I was told she was not available despite being told by employees to call on Tuesday.

Ignore any copy-paste response from management, and avoid this place at all cost. Worst hotel experience in the United States in at least 20 years, and worse than many stays in third world countries. Front desk was friendly - at that's the only positive thing I can say. It was the dirtiest hotel I've stayed in. Nothing appeared to have been cleaned. The room was horrific. And the entire floor smelled worse than any hotel I've ever stayed in. This isn't a 3 star hotel; it is a one-star motel with a large parking lot and breakfast.

Not at all clean. As soon as we entered the room, saw almonds and crumbs on the floor. Was too tired to call and complain, and since the beds and bathroom looked clean, I was okay to overlook it.
Then came the noise next door. We were given a connecting room on the 6th floor snd it was so so noisy with inappropriate words. My kids had slept and again, I just put up with it without causing any trouble.
Then in the early morning, my daughter woke me up and said she feels something crawling and we turn the light on and find a little bug. I squashed it, then we saw another and then another. Removed them all. Checked all over and couldn't find anymore. My son & husband on the other bed didn't have anything. I had a few red marks on me the next day. They looked bigger than bed bugs. The beds were also one of the worst I've ever slept on.
The only thing that was good was the breakfast. Really wide selection. The lady who was there was very polite and was always keeping everything full. For the price I paid, I really expect the rooms to be more clean.

The shower curtain in our room was not at all clean - looks moldy and dirty and there were areas that looked like they needed a more thorough cleaning.
Have stayed there before and it wasn't an issue so wondering if this is just a one time event.

We have stayed at this hotel many times and always found it clean. However, on this trip we found the bathroom, particularly the floor was never washed. We were on a tight schedule so I had wipes and did my own cleaning. We had no time to change our room or have housekeeping come.

Very good value and convenient option to stay when heading into Boston - in this case - to drop my daughter at Northeastern U.
Thought the breakfast was extra special and included in the nightly cost. Only ask would be to upgrade some of the equipment in fitness room - thank you!

We went to check in and and were told that they were overbooked and could accommodate my reservation. When I showed her my reservation, she just shrugged and said it happens all the time. When I asked why she didn’t call me and at least give me the heads up so I could find another room she shrugged again and said it wasn’t her job. Ridiculous to have to find a new hotel in the middle of the night.

Half of the pool is 8ft deep which is not ideal for kids but loved going into the shallow area. Breakfast was good, which was a combo of hot n cool food. Staff n cleaning staff were great. The room was nice n comfortable. We had a great view from the 6th floor

Changed reservation from 2 beds to 1 and failed to mention it at check in. Was told hotel was full and they could not give me a room with 2 beds, would have to use a pull out couch. Checked out immediately and was told they could not check us out because the manager wasn’t in and they could not guarantee I would be reimbursed for my reservation.

Didn’t receive any information from the front desk attendant when checking in. No mention of any amenities like breakfast hours or pool hours. No direction whatsoever as far as finding our room. Just gave us our keys. I think we interrupted his break. The other employees at the front desk were friendly and more helpful throughout our stay.

We had booked the hotel for the pool, which had great reviews, but upon arriving found that the pool was closed. I would have appreciated knowing this information in advance.
When we got to our room there was a big wet stain (still wet) on the carpet next to the bed. And when entering and leaving the room upon arrival there was a random man outside standing in the hallway right next to our door.
I talked to the front desk about our concerns, and they took our concerns seriously and were kind and helpful. They were the reason that we decided to stay at the hotel and not re-book at another place.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay here. I wished it was for longer than one night, even! The staff was courteous and welcoming upon arrival, though we were not able to check-in until 1.5 hours past allowed check-in time because the room had not been cleaned. The hotel was clean, the pool and fitness areas looked great! Comfortable, clean room.

We had a two night stay. After night one we went to my sons baseball game. (We were here for his tournament- from another state) we came back to shower and get ready for dinner. My son went up first while me and my husband were going to store. I get a call from my son that someone was going into our room (a minor 16yo) come to find out they “thought” we left. We had a reservation for two nights. They also had no house keeping/cleaners (short handed) so how could my room even be cleaned? They also showed me not even checked in after sleeping there one night already and all of our belongings in the room. Thankfully the lady that was given my room was nice and didn’t intrude. They did “fix” it I guess however I didn’t really feel safe at that point. We were already in an unfamiliar location and now our room was given up. Not very happy.

I stay at this hotel every other month and have never had a problem. I checked into my room the TV didn't work they had to move me to a second room. Around 630pm when I headed down to the restaurant for dinner I found out that the restaurant was closed today for a private party not disclose to me when I checked in at 3 o'clock. The indoor pool is closed completely drained. I also had issues with the internet being spotty that I had to use my Hotspot to get my work done because I couldn't use the Wi-Fi in the hotel. Worst trip I've had to this hotel in the 2 and a 1/2 years that I've been staying here.

Experience here is usually good. During this stay a few issues. Firstly Expedia messed up my reservation. They confirmed it with me but not with the hotel. I spent an hour in the lobby trying to get on the phone with Expedia. I don't understand why the hotel doesn't have better processes for dealing with this issue. When I did get to my room it smelled of mildew. Parts of the carpet were wet and felt dirty. At that point it was so late I just blasted the AC. I had a balcony but the people below me were smoking weed all night and day so I could not keep the balcony door open to get fresh air. I had to take the drain out in the sink in the bathroom because it would not drain properly.
On the plus side the gym was in good working shape.
I don't expect a ton from this hotel based on the brand and price, but they have done better for me in the past.

Check in was quick and easy. Staff were polite and efficient. Seems like they have a nice pool and restaurant. We were only staying approximately 12 hours, to sleep and shower. Water pressure in shower was weak but as to be expected. Big downside was we reserved a non smoking room, and the room was SATURATED with the smell of cigarette smoke to the point it literally burned my nose. There is a placard in the room, that warns of an additional surcharge if there is smoking, so I called and told someone, so that we would not be blamed for it. They said they would make a notr of it, but did not offer a change of room or a discount. Not the end of the world, but disappointing, as it did make it uncomfortable, and gross, even after cranking thd ac and opening the window as much as we could. Not sure if it was the staff or a guest who had been smoking in there, buf for a non smoking room to smell like a dive bar at closing was a real let down.
