Stayed here for New Years Eve, and it was amazing. Down the street from the Space Needle and a Walgreens across the street. Located downtown so there were plenty of dining options.
Clean rooms, friendly staff and convenient.

I like it because it really convenient for New year. Butbi wish they put us in the better room. We have no view but gas station and traffic. However, still like it with the overall services

The staff are super friendly, and helpful! The property is dated and needs a refresh, but renovations are on there way. The rooms are very clean! Everything we were there to do and more was all within walking distanance, including the Space Needle Climate Pledge Arena, the Pop Culture Museum. We had a veiw of the space needle from our room.Free breakfast everyday and free coffee, tea, hot chocolate and water all day everyday. We would definately stay here again!

Budget friendly, great staff, great location
Great location, very reasonably priced, great staff and a good complimentary breakfast. It was a one night stay, and we couldn't have asked for more at the price point. The property is slightly dated, so expect some minor problems here and there, but outside of that, great hotel.

Ok but not great
The room was large and fine for our family of 6. The bathroom is small but clean. The front desk was helpful when needed. The staff working the breakfast area were not very helpful and hard to communicate with. The beds need improvement, very basic uncomfortable mattress and linens. The breakfast area very often ran out of items, there was a long line one day, the eggs are tiny pieces that don't even pretend to be real eggs, and all the breakfast meat (besides the bacon one time) was covered in a weird oily spice mixture. We have been home a week and our stomachs still haven't recovered. They also want $45 a day parking which is outrageous and tried to bill us for it even though we never parked with them, thankfully I caught it. The hotel overall worked for our needs being in downtown and a room large enough for our family. But we expected more from Hyatt.

Nothing unique, but i will say i stay at this hotel many of time with my two daughters. The reasons was the pool and breakfast. Now no pool, they making it to a larger workout room, second the breakfast was horrible both morning i was there never was like that before example, food cold unless coming from the back, nothing stock beside dishes etc. I think i will not be getting a room there again, don't know what happened but from my past and now experience I might not be staying there with my daughters.

The shower had mold and hairs were left from a previous guest, otherwise the room appeared clean. Breakfast was not great,no butter for the waffles ir toast. Milk for coffee looked off. However I would like to thank staff member Dexter who was very pleasant and welcoming.

It was crowded in the room but they were quick to accommodate things we needed like a micro and towels and trash service. On some days they ran out of food for breakfast but you still had something to fill you up with. And the staff were excellent and the place was clean. There was no pool and only one washer and only one dryer

I asked prior to our stay about the ability to provide a gluten free breakfast. On the morning when I asked what was available, I was told “I don’t think we have anything” When I told the staff that I was told they do, she went into the kitchen and returned with a plastic bag with 2 cold pieces of bread and was told this was all they had. Whenever I go to a restaurant, I have many questions to protect myself as a person with Celiac Disease. Asking in advance is one of them. When the serving staff has no knowledge and presumably asked the cook staff, I don’t bother asking more as I no longer trust their training or knowledge. This was not what I expected of Hyatt Hotels

This property has amazing staff. We cannot thank Dan enough for his thoughtfulness and generosity. This property is within walking distance to the Space Needle, the waterfront and Public Market, and Climate Pledge Arena. The rooms are large, the hotel is clean, the bed was very comfortable and the Continental Breakfast choices were exemplary.

The room was spacious & I really liked the layout with the bed separated from the living area. It gave a couple good separation when one wanted to sleep.
The breakfast was poor. The three cereals were sweetened but paradoxically, the milk was reduced fat. The hot food selection was poor. I didn't taste the coffee but luckily, there was an excellent espresso bar only half a block away.

Great Location, Friendly Staff
This hotel is a gem. It's a short walk from the Space Needle, which is right next to Climate Pledge Arena and the monorail, which can get you downtown to the Light Rail and Pike Place. Great location. The rooms are suite-style, with beds on one side and a small living area with a desk and couch on the other. Beds were comfy. Some of the fixtures are slightly dated, but there is already a renovation underway and nothing feels old or worn out. The front desk staff are super friendly and helpful. The daily breakfast is among the best buffets you're going to find. My only issue revolves around that, which is probably a one-off. On one of the days the buffet was lackluster: prepacked muffins, toast and cereal. I heard the cook called in sick (not sure if that's true). But staffing is an issue everywhere these days and it was a minor blip in an otherwise fantastic stay. Overall, I highly recommend this spot.

Nice room, suite tyoe with sevtioned off living area and king bed. Great for a 3 night stay. We walked to the Space Needle, MOPOP, Science Centre, Chihillo Glass Museum. It was close to the Monorsil which we took to get closer to Pike's Market, the Wharf and the Art Museum.

We liked everything about this hotel, especially the location...very short walk to the Space Needle and the Chihuly gardens and the Monorail, which takes you to the Pike Place Market. It is also walking distance to numerous restaurants. The service was excellent, the staff was very friendly, everything was very clean. My 9nlybcomplwint is that the breakfast was just adequate. Other than that we very much enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful views inside and out. Only downside was the pool/ spa area was closed for maintenance. Why do that on the weekend with so much going on? Other than that- great stay.

The property was dark, dated, and dingy. The plumbing in the room was damaged (sink crack, damaged grout in shower). The air was damp. I genuinely did not enjoy staying there and would not recommend. ALSO the food was terrible. The breakfast was worse than McDonalds.

Location is great, not to far from the space needle. I had a city/space needle view room which was perfect. The breakfast was cold when I got to it unfortunately, but other than that everything else is great and definitely would recommend as an option for the downtown area.

charge for a night without staying
I book a reservation and when I called to confirm my reservation, they could not locate my confirmation #. I tried calling the hotel with not luck so as well. I had to rush and find a new hotel as the Hyatt Place no longer had any double bed rooms available. Now 9/19, I saw that Hotels.com / Hyatt Place charged me for one nights stay. Unbelievable!

We were able to check in early. We loved our city view of the Space Needle and walked to the needle, MoPop and Glass Garden and the monorail, which we rode to Pikes Place Market and the Boardwalk. The bed was comfortable and the AC worked wonderfully! Everything was perfect!

I very much enjoyed my stay here, good breakfast which was different every morning, close to everywhere you would need to go, but I didn't know that parking was $45 every single night which is ridiculous but there was a parking lot across the street which was way less so overall it was great!!

Very good location walking distance to most amenities and close to bus station. We stayed for 3 nights, use bus service just to go to see the Fremont troll statue, the rest of the attractions we just went walking. Good for families. Coffee and tea service 24hrs.

I asked if they would put Fox News on in the lobby as they had MSNBC and CNN playing on TVs there. I was informed that local management forbid Fox News being turned on in a public area of the hotel. Welcome to Seattle.
