Evaluator was broke down twice they did fix the first time but less then 24 hour later it was broke again and would not be fixed for 3 or four days
4 week post op for knee replacement was b placed C on 4th floor so had to walk down four flights of stairs twice

Easy comfortable stop

Amazing value for amazing stay!
This was my first time at candlewood suites, we went for a fun weekend at Cape Con and we were so impressed with our room! It was an amazing value and the rooms were extremely clean and well stocked. The pool was also a plus!! We will absolutely be returning, Candlewood made us want to make this a location for a yearly trip! Thank you for the service!

Double charged
Great weekend with family! Very nice hotel! But I used one card to book the room and paid with another card! Both my cards have been charged and the manager will not resolve the problem! He is telling his desk person when I call it will be reversed on Friday! Well here it is Friday and I’m still double charged! It would be nice to get my 147.54 back! The manager is not very professional at all! The only one time he talked to me he was not very friendly! He stated it will be back on your card by Friday!

Definitely loud on the freeway side, and the bedroom doesn’t get very cool with the wall fan replacing an AC in there, but, the people are great. Everything is clean, parking is great. The outdoor grill is an awesome extra. The gym could use a bench and maybe a cable machine or something? I’d definitely appreciate more gym options. That said, I always stay here when I come to town because it’s nice andI love having the kitchen.

Hotel management has an unlisted fee of $450 cash upfront for customers who live in the city. This is not listed anywhere. I was presented this when I checked in so I had to go to an ATM and withdraw cash so I could check in the hotel. This is a very poor policy.

Put a trash can in the bathroom too!!!! Not just the kitchen area. Especially helpful to females to have a trash can in bathroom. Not expensive accommodation to make for hotel.

I’ve stayed here before and it is very nice. I was slightly disappointed to find toenail clippings and hair in the bathroom. Things happen, I’ve worked in housekeeping and I know housekeepers are human. The hair didn’t bother me as much as the toenail clippings, but still had a great stay.

Ridiculous policy and bad quality
Our bathroom had mold. We paid for a king room and they gave us a queen. They made us give them a $450 CASH deposit to hold over night because we lived 33 miles away and they require that if you live within 35 miles. We are 2 women in their mid 30s who didn’t want to drink and drive after a comedy show.

Room was clean. Coffee pot did not work, but thankfully they do have free coffee downstairs. The free laundry was also very nice to have access to, I did not use the pool or fitness room. But the pool looked inviting!

Reserved a king handicap accessible one bedroom suite and upom check in found we had been given a regular 2 queen room. Was told that there is no guantantee when you reserve and its expedia's fault but yet also the day shift person who assigned rooms. Took an available 2 queen handicap room and got everything carried in to find the door lock didnt work. We packed up and moved again to another 2 queen hadicap room. Room not as clean or as good of shape as the 2 previous. Laundry room dirty, machines left a mess from other guests. Had to wash clothes twice because of filth in machines. Pool very small, occupancy of 10 max per sign. Was told the manager would be contacted and compensation would be requested which we agreed would be acceptable. We were charged full price and no one made the follow up call to us as we were told would happen. The positive points were the room refrigerators, courtyard with grill and few kind staff. We travel multiple times a year and stay in a variety of places. This is the worst experience we have had and the first time i have written a review on any of our stays. We would have moved hotels but unfortunately everything was booked up. My advice to others looking at this hotel is to read the fine print that says you should call the hotel directly to verify your room booking and not expect any follow up or resolution on issues.

Interstate traffic noise
Stayed on the interstate side of the building and could hear the traffic all night. The AC drowned out the noise a little, as it was that loud. Room was otherwise great

At check-in was charged $800, when the front desk called management the situation was dismissed and i was told I'd have to come back Monday...oh you mean while im working???!! So ive spent my entire stay worried about when i may or may not get my larg amount of money returned! Update they have deducted more now making it $1000 taken from me for 1 night no incidents

Beautiful grounds, great location. The place could use a maintenance check. Our rooms sink and dishwasher leaked a lot of water all over our room floor so, we had the inconvenience of packing all of our things and moving to another room.

Overall this was a good stay. We were on the side facing the interstate and we could hear the tragic. At first we thought, is the window open? But of course it wasn’t. Could even hear the interstate noise from the bathroom.
I would stay again if I could be sure to get a room away from the interstate.
The bathtub had some black marks (like split paint) inside it. Needed to replace it.
The facility was clean. The staff was helpful and friendly. The location was convenient.

If I could rate this hotel no star, I will do so. I booked a room of two queen beds via Expedia, and I sent a message via Expedia requesting a pet friendly room. When I arrived, the front desk told me that they were oversold. The only room they could give to me was a handicap room of one queen bed. Because I travel with my wife, my teenage son, she will give a roller bed. She stated Expedia never sent them the message about the pet room. They cannot put me in the other room for two beds. She asked me to call Expedia to complain. I called Expedia who contacted the hotel. The front desk called saying hotel manager offers three drinks and snack bars as the compensation. I declined it. 15 mins later, she called again saying her manager asking what I want. At the same time I was on the phone with the Expedia who wanted to talk the front desk to confirm my allegation again. I walked to front desk. I then spoke to the manager over the phone. He stated that was my fault I did call to tell them I travel with my pet. Policy is on their website. I told him I put my request when I booked the reservation. He said you just want to have a free night! I said I never said it. I asked his name three times. Then he said his business card is right in front of me. He never told me his name. He said Expedia told front desk I wanted a free stay. I then questioned the front desk. Front desk told him that I never said I wanted a free night.

I cancelled this stay a month ago and they keep trying to charge me for checking in, I am over 846 miles away but yet they say I checked into a room. Pathetic way to treat what would have been someone who would have stayed with them had I ever got to Cape.

We arrived at the property and there was a long line of customers. The attendant explained that the property was overbooked and some would be turned away. We waited patiently and luckily received the last room of our selected type.
Our room was okay. There were baby handprints on the mirror, the tub faucet had a loud, noticeable drip, and there was a sticky cup ring on one of the nightstands.
We were also unable to get our towels switched out until later the next day due to a shortage of cleaning services.
We expected a more upkept facility but it seems there is a major shortage of workers.
This is a great and convenient location.

Our hotel room was clean and comfortable. It was a little noisy due to highway traffic so it was hard for me to sleep. It took a while to check-in as the only person working was on the phone with another customer. But overall. We had a good experience and would stay again.

Our room's heater was not working and wouldn't get fixed till Monday(this is on Saturday). Gave the option to move 4 people to a room with only one bed. Plus putting us on separate floors from our teenage boys, no thanks. Was told 65 degrees was not cold and room wouldn't get any colder. Did get extra blankets.

I liked the in room kitchens and staff was extremely friendly. Overall the facility was clean. Our room lacked some cleaning in the bathroom and kitchen cabinets but was addressed immediately by staff. The only thing I didn’t like was the pool exit was close to the front door and was really cold coming out wet. I would and am staying again.

Was a clean, friendly, place to stay. We stayed 8 days. Very quiet and comfy. Loved the kitchenette. Need to replace some of the pans. Would of liked an oven. It saved us from eating out all the time. Great place for long stays. Awesome crew of workers.

Okay so the biggest issue i had was having a $250 deposit because im a local as opposed to someone out of town with a $10 one. The a.c. only sorta worked and our bathtub had patch tape in it and the bottom looked like it could use a deep scrub. Also in a building that size there should be atleast 1 ice maker. It took forever for the refrigerator to make ice. And no breakfast included for the price. They do have some kind of room that u can buy stuff from though. All the staff was super friendly especially Dorothy and the main areas where clean.

We booked a double queen and had our pup with us. Expedia doesn't give the option to tell that we had our dog staying with us. Apparently, Candlewood Suites puts all dog owners on the first floor. They had no double queens available so we had to take a single king. We wanted an upper floor as we don't appreciate the noise from above. Unfortunately, there must have been a younger child's slumber party that was unsupervised right above us because the pounding and stomping went on for hours, we complained once by phone, then to the desk, they said they would remove the guests if we had another complaint, we couldn't move because all rooms for dogs owners were booked. So we decided to pack up and leave at 10:30 pm on the first night and they refused a refund. I am going to demand a refund. They could have moved the guests above us to another room as when I checked in the person at the front desk told me the hotel was less than half full. I will never recommend this hotel. Also, the highway noise was very loud on the first floor.

Quiet large rooms, great bedding and TV. Best shower I've had in a hotel in a long time. Great kitchenette and large bathroom. Sink drain was plugged but immediately tended to and resolved. No breakfast but you can prepare yourself or many options close by. No complaints and probably will stay here again when visiting.
