I gave this hotel 5 stars because of many reasons. The staff was amazing! They were very accommodating, friendly, and knowledgeable about the area. The hotel was very clean in all areas. The only negative for me was the bed. I didn't take off points for this though because it might not be a negative for others. The bed was very firm and I like a softer bed. Other then that i have no complaints and would recommend this hotel.

Nice cozy hotel
I've stayed here before and will stay again. Short walk to South Station, Fanuel Hall, Downtown Crossing and many great bars, restaurants and sites. Recommend the smaller rooms with only one window because they are much better insulated in cold weather.

Great hotel, misleading parking
Good hotel in close proximity to local tourist spots. Ideal that there is a bar/restaurant attached. Day staff a lot more friendly than the night staff. Parking is misleading but it isnât that far away and $36 for 36 hours isnât terrible considering youâre in the heart of downtown Boston. Wish it was clearer in the booking.

Hotel was clean. Staff was friendly. Keurig machine in my room took 3 to 4 tries to get coffee. After I reported, someone went to room, ran it, dumped coffee in toilet and did not ensure it flushed. (Then again, toilet had to be flushed several times to work properly) After my second complaint about the coffee maker I got a replacement. Ice is only available on the second floor, make sure to push the button VERY hard. Great location, the restaurant is great! Again, staff was great! Overall, the price, location and staff were worth the experience.

We booked at a great rate for a weekend Bruins game. Great location- spent afternoon in the North End and Faneuil Hall area and quick T ride back after the game. Rooms were clean and the beds were comfy. Definitely would stay again.

Great hotel in the middle of a little bit of everything, only about a 10 minuet walk from hotel to south station and Chinatown. Plenty of restaurants around as well as the one attached to the hotel so thereâs no lack of options for eating! Great little coffee maker in the guest lounge area by the lobby that makes really good lattes! Only complaint is the showers were a little snug but besides that, we had a wonderful experience. :)

Hotel is ok. The location is really good as there are many stores and restaurants literally within a stone's throw. Everything you need. TD Garden is about a 20 min walk from the hotel also. I went to a Bruins game and a concert so ya it was good. The hotel itself is totally adequate. It's not the Four Seasons but more like a Super 8 with some extra cosmetic aspects to make it seem grander than it is. Customer service is mid. The front desk staff seemed indifferent, but you kind of get what you pay for. It's good if all you need is a good, nice place to sleep for the night. Place is a 6.5/10. It served its purpose just fine. Lots of scuffs and scratches here n there too haha. But all in all, if you're npt too particular, it does the job. Location is great. The restaurant downstairs is totally mid too. Way better options in the general vicinity of the hotel also. I wouldn't recommend for anything other than a drink or select appetizers. Wings were brutal. Typical pub food but not very good. Overall, the hotel is ok and does the job.

Stayed here for my first time in Boston and had a great experience. It's right by most of the main touristy stuff without feeling like it. The room was good for what I paid for and the staff was helpful and easy to talk to. Shoutout to Carla who was a riot to chat with and gave me some nice tips for my trip!

My fiancĂŠ and I checked in on Christmas Day. On a day on which almost every restaurant in the city was closed, and it was known that guests would have few to no dining options, I was surprised, and upset to find that the hotel restaurant was also closed. In the end, I found a Walgreens that was open, and was able to buy some frozen dinners.
I understand the desire to let staff have the holiday off, but food is a necessity, and prioritizing the holiday over dining for your guests was a major hospitality failure. I am unlikely ever to stay at a CQ property in future.

The staff was very knowledgeable. Carla from the front desk was especially personal and helpful. The hotel has a great coffee machine near the lobby and free water machines with water bottles for guests. Honestly no need to bother packing shampoo conditioner or lotion, there's full size bottles of all three.
Location is perfect to walk to everything. 7-Eleven is 5 minutes away, the liquor beer and wine store is about two doors down. We were able to walk to Quincy market, and the aquarium in about 10 to 13 minutes. For shopping Primark,TJ Maxx are about 5 minutes walking away from the hotel. If you're like me and you want to pay for things ahead of time I would recommend adding the breakfast to your reservation.

The smaller rooms are cozier
I've stayed here before and will stay again. However, my kitchette corner room had large windows on two walls which made the room too chilly for comfort. As soon as the heat would shut off, it almost immediately cooled off. Other than that, this is a nice hotel that is walkable to South Station, Downtown Crossing and Fanuel Hall.

Thanks to Expedia and the propertyâs unwillingness to change my reservation, let alone refund me, despite reasonable notice and a good reason- I lost what I paid for a night's stay. Lesson learned. Never again book with Expedia, never stay at this property, and tell anyone who will listen the same.

The service was very good, especially Laura who cleaned my room. The hotel is surrounded by a lot of restaurants, stores, and subwaysâ entrances. Since it was in downtown, Boston Commons, the aquarium, and others nearby sites were easily accessible. The hotelâs restaurant had tasty foods at decent prices. I will definitely recommend this place.

Noisy barebones hotel
Went to the concierge, but was guided towards self check in even though the lobby was a busy room is pretty bare bones. You can hear every sound from every other room. Good luck.

The employees were so friendly and willing to help in any way to ensure your stay was everything you would expect from a 5 star hotel. I told my family that live in Boston, when they have friends coming to visit the area to recommend Club Quarters Hotel Faneuil Hall. When I returned to Virginia told my friends the same! The hotel is perfectly located in downtown. BUT, I was disappointed with the room's condition considering I had to pay $469 per night before tax. The TV had no signal. I found a live bug in the bathroom.

The hotel hallways are being renovated so the walls were pretty shabby in the hallway. The room was a bit worn, but the pillows and comforter was very soft. The mattress was ok. I had a large room with a couch, fridge and microwave. Always appreciate those in a room. The front desk staff was always very friendly and helpful. The adjacent restaurant was pretty good and nice to have so close. I would likely stay here again.

Eventhough they posted apologies for the remodeling process, it was discourging to see walls and floors with mold. The employess did a very good job of making us comfortable. They were at their best. But it was a shame that they had no television in their lobby for us to sit and unwind without having to go up to our rooms to see TV. I also did not like the fact that they had no Safe in the rooms to keep my valuables, and no small fridge to maybe have some for our midnight snacks. All other hotels I have stayed at have this.

Great location if your looking to hop around Boston. Close enough to a lot of things. But a lot of walking in the city. Hotel was very nice and attached to a decent pub for drinks food and breakfast. Hotel is clean and quiet and the rooms were small but comfortable for 2. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Free coffee and water stations throughout. Certainly will return. One thing parking is not on site have to walk 5 mins to a deck. Wasnât a problem for 2.

The room itself was pretty small, but nice and clean. The difficult part is if you drive a car (which most people do here). Thereâs one little section for you to pull up to the front, and if there are more than two cars you are stuck waiting on a narrow busy road with no place to leave a car to check in or out. Which wouldnât be a huge deal if they had a valet, but they donât. You check in and they hand you a card and say to self park in a nearby public garage and walk back to the hotel. Especially when we were trying to check out, it got a little messy because everyone is trying to leave, thereâs no place for more than two cars, but we all have to pull the cars up for luggage and to check out. It took so long for us to be able to have a turn to pull up, that the front desk had automatically de activated our room keys (it wasnât just us having these problems, there were other couples there in the same boat), so we werenât able to go up and get our luggage. Had to wait in line at the desk to be able to have our keys re-activated (only one front desk person at check out time), and eventually got to leave. But that whole process was stressful, and had us leaving on a âehâ note. The hotel itself is in a decent location, but if you are driving there are probably easier places to stay that will take care of your car for you.

Right in the heart of everything. Could easily walk to everything we wanted to go to but also close to the subway so we could hop that around and to Salem. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The rate was amazing and we loved the water bottles you could fill up to go for our walks around the city. Great anniversary trip.

Reoccurring toilet issues!
Unfortunately, had an issue with toilet. First it was running constantly. There was no tank for us to try to stop it. We called front desk to let them know because we were leaving. When we came back the handle on toilet would spray out. So it was leaking onto the floor. So again we let front desk know. This time after returning the used most of our bath towels to clean up floor. But it was still spraying and leaking a little bit. So for the third time we let front desk know. Our last night there they asked if we now wanted another room. Which would have been nice earlier. But that day we were going to be gone all day and returned back close to 11:00 pm.

This hotel has lots of eco friendly practices like plenty of refill stations for water bottles and free coffee in mugs. Plus the refillable toiletries, it was very low waste. Comfortable (small) room with just what we needed and nothing we didnât. Friendly staff. Would stay here again!

When we arrived after a 6 1/2 hour delay at the airport the young man at the front desk made us feel very welcome and very sympathic of our sitiarion. When we needed a ride to too the cruise .port on Sunday one of the young ladies working the front desk on Sat arranged a ride for 4 of us and luggage.

It was ok.
Overall it was fine but nothing special. My âupgradedâ room just meant I had a fridge and microwave. I thought a fridge was pretty much standard in most places. Bed was not the most comfortable. The main issue was the shower stall. The curtain didnât reach the floor so you were either attacked by it during your shower or it was blowing out of the stall and drenching the floor.
I didnât feel unsafe but it should be noted that every two doors basically touch and angle towards each other making a little alcove. If both rooms opened their doors at the same time you would have to take turns walking out of your room.
