Our stay was a fast to for fun, the hotel was very nice as expected , the breakfast was very good.
One of our beds had sand in the sheets, the maids must have just remade the bed , no fault of the hotel technically.
We did not bring it to the attention of the hotel front desk, hopefully just an over site

Overall a great stay. Comfortable bed, nice breakfast, and right off the highway. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean but tub and shower were dated and shower faucet hard to turn off. The only negative is don't park under one of the trees! Our car was full of bird droppings when we went out in the morning 😫

My first room reeked of cheap cologne. They moved me to another room. The bed was terrible. It felt like the springs were coming through. I've stayed here on the past and it's in need a refresh. The breakfast was excellent as was the service.

Needs to be refurbished.
The hotel was dirty - especially the carpet in the halls and in the room. The carpet in the hallway was also buckled down the center of the hallway. My husband slipped in the shower because the bottom of the tub had worn out slip protection. Will not book again.

Quick overnight stay.
Room was clean. We stayed here for a quick stop during visiting colleges for our boys. Michael from the front desk was absolutely wonderful. That young man needs a raise. Would def stay here again.

Run down; needs Repairs and UPDATE, now!
ADA rooms unsatisfactory! Insufficient grab bars, toilet too LOW! Impossible for wheelchair transfer; extremely difficult for folks with bad knees. Space between bed and tv barely sufficient for walker, impossible for wheelchairs. I am searching area for a better place to stay; tired of waiting for IHG to help this property.

Needed the rest after 8 hours of driving. Was very quiet. The rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly, Professional and prompt checking you in. Would definitely stay again especially seeing that there was actually a hot breakfast for the guests.

This was a pretty generic hotel, nothing spectacular but veryuch adequate. One plus - there was a wide variety of pillow fluffiness levels so you dont have to sleep with your head propped up.

Decent hotel room! No smoking signs are everywhere yet our room absolutely reeks. Slightly outdated but feel safe and super easy access. Love that there is free breakfast! Lobby looks nice. No big girls but satisfied with this stay. Beds and pillows are comfy, great water pressure. Fridge and coffee maker in the room as well as shampo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, and hand wash attached to the walls (so large sizes). Outside of the smoke stink and being slightly outdated this could have been higher than a 4.

The bedding was dirty. I had to ask for new bedding and put them on myself. One of the staff was busy watching the football game instead of attending the front desk the other staff member was in the back and then when she came to the front she wasn’t any help other then giving me the clean bedding for me to put on. She did not offer for someone to come and do it.

I stayed here last week. Comfortable and convenient…why does Thursday cost more than a Friday night?? 3rd floor hallway carpet has wrinkles high enough for someone to trip on. I notified the front desk, but it’s a problem that can’t be quickly fixed. They said something would be placed up there to warn people, but it was a wet floor sign that was put next to the ice machine! Needs to be fixed, cuz that would be cause for a lawsuit.

We arrived on the property as we were traveling late from a long distance. Front desk was extremely nice and accommodating but we received the wrong room from what I reserved. The following morning we went down for breakfast and there was no juice or milk. Most of the cereal was gone and no pancakes. It was 7:30-8am. This was not worth the money we paid to stay here. I would find another place next time.

Better signage at the driveway entrance to the hotel parking lot. There's a large Holiday Express sign that can be seen from the main road, but once approaching the parking lot, if you miss the turn off, you have to go around the block.

The hotel itself was pretty clean, although the parking lot was full of trash. We reserved a room w/ two queen beds; however, upon arrival we were given a king bed and fold out couch, which was extremely uncomfortable. No sheets or pillows for the fold out, which we had to call down to get, and they did not have a blanket to give me.

Checkin was easy & fast despite being very busy. Beds were clean & comfortable. Area seemed safe. Bathroom was not super clean- hair in shower and on toilet. Water/toothpaste spots on mirror. Floor looked dirty in corners and near walls. Ceiling in bathroom was super low and had prior damage that was repaired poorly. Tried to use the fitness center but all 4 cardio machines were broken- buttons didn’t work, plus they were super rusted (cosmetic, but not a great look). Breakfast options were good. Overall the entire property looked like it’s time for a facelift and cleaning.

The bed was comfy, bed sheets, pillows were acceptable and clean. But the bathroom floor needed a thorough cleaning, and the bathroom sink drained super slow and filled up as soon as the water was turned on. The breakfast offerings were okay, but not as good as when we stayed there a year ago. The vending room (near the front desk) was sparsely stocked, so there was not much to pick from for our evening munchies. Overall, this hotel was fine for a one-night stay and the price is reasonable.

Overall property is outdated, carpets are old and nasty looking. Found a roach in the bathroom, toilet was nasty around the inside rim, shower floor was gross. The worst part is how they raise the prices due to family weekend at FSU, paid $951 for 2 nights...it's shameful!!

Holidirty Inn - an unprecedented filth pit
Clearly this hotel ownership doesn’t care about cleanliness. And IHG either hasn’t visited this location or gives them a pass on standards. This hotel was beyond dirty and poorly managed.
There’s a smell of filth and mustiness in the air masked by those random spritz air fresheners. Carpets are grungy and stained with greasy, dirty stains. The rooms are vomit inducing with dirty carpets, filthy bathrooms and an overall sense of having not been properly cleaned. Stains on the walls, stains on the ceilings, patch marks all over the place, dust/cob webs coated in dirt in various places.
Don’t even consider this hotel - you can find the same level of filth at a $50/night motel.

Filthy hotel, poorly managed
Filthy, run down hotel. Upon arrival you’re assaulted with the odor of popcorn/air freshener/moth balls to mask the mustiness. The carpets are worn, tiles are cracked and worn in dirt in main areas. The rooms are a menagerie of badly patched walls, poorly matched pain touch ups, over-paint, worn in dirt in carpet, poorly caulked grime-coated shower walls, and just an overall nasty condition.
The towels, although clean, shed lint terribly. But the bed sheets were clean.
If it weren’t for being on the road 12 hours with a hard to navigate, hard to park moving truck and late arrival we would’ve left and went elsewhere. We agreed if sheets weren’t clean we’d sleep in the truck.
I travel regularly and this is by far the most disgusting hotel I’ve ever visited. Filthy. Grime everywhere.

This was one of the best stays I’ve ever had! The cleaning staff made sure things were tidied when we were away (bed made, trash taken out, new trash can liner), and gave us new towels every day! Hotels just don’t do that anymore!

This Place Desperately Needs Management Attention!
This place was in a convenient area. However, having stayed at various HIE hotels in the past, we were disappointed that this location was way below the chain's usual standards. This HIE is very run-down & desperately needs some maintenance/aesthetic attention -- In public areas, hallway carpets are bunched-up & fixtures are grungy. Our room was minimally clean & smelled musty. There was peeling ceiling paint, dusty lamps, scuffed furniture, ripped curtains, loud rattling AC, & a leaking toilet. The carpet was so dirty that our socks were soiled! During our 4 nights there, housekeeping did not clean the room nor make the beds. We had to inquire to get fresh towels & have the trash emptied. The breakfasts were sufficient except for one early morning when there was no food to serve! The front desk staff is quite nice & helpful. However, the breakfast staff has a low morale - Totally lacks a sense of courtesy, enthusiasm, & friendliness. Hope that the management will put some effort & resources into perking-up this location & staff efficiency. In the meantime, there are many hotels nearby. Definitely consider other places when visiting Tallahassee!!

The staff was wonderful, the breakfast was good, but the entire hotel and especially the room itself had an uncomfortable moisture to it. The bed sheets were damp feeling and no fan in the bathroom which just adds to humidity after showers are taken. Location around is under construction but not a big deal.
