Staff is great!!
The service was amazing!! The front desk staff was very warm and welcoming! Loved the location and the option for a late check out was truly appreciated. The only downside would be that the furniture is becoming worn and room could use a refresh. But, it was clean and quiet and I will stay there again when I'm in town b

Had an amazing time! Adrain and Danny were so helpful with me (I’m legally blind) and it has been my best hotel stay in Chicago. I am definitely coming back to this hotel!

Great hotel
I always stay here when I travel to Chicago for work. It’s not a huge deal but the televisions almost never work. I like to watch the local news in the morning but can’t. Really, that would be my only complaint. The staff is always awesome and the location is great.

The room was comfortable. It was perfect for an overnight work trip. The only issue was that, while it was nice to be able to stream YouTube on the TV, the internet was inconsistent. An otherwise good stay!

Only thing I didn’t like about this property is the walk across the street for parking. Valet service isn’t offered. It was cold and snowing and that walk to the parking garage was far. And it was $25 per day per pay

It was within walking distance of the Symphony. I enjoyed the bed, watching movies using Chromecast. If you're looking for a hotel near the Symphony and don't wanna walk far, take this one!!
I definitely recommend those that don't drive take this.

Overall our stay was good. Location is perfect. The only downside is, they don’t have their own parking space. Also, cleanliness could be improved, the coffee maker inside the room is dusty, the mugs are dusty as well. my friend found a lipstick inside the mug, so I guess they are not cleaning or replacing it every after a guest checks out regardless if they have used it or not.

Great place in Chicago.
Great Price. Good location for our needs. Rooms are smallish but comfortable and well maintained. Service is excellent and very friendly. Parking at the associated garage two blocks over, was cheap and had in/out privileges. Also close to the L. great for getting around town. We will definitely be back.

It was a comfortable room and bed, with a good easy chair to sit and read in, and a good desk to do some work at as well. I also liked the 24/7 availability of free coffee/cappuccino downstairs in the lounge. The restaurant downstairs, Elephant and Castle, had excellent food.

Pretty good hotel if you’re looking for a standard hotel. The pillows were a bit uncomfortable which it made it hard to sleep. The tv was also powering on and off as I tried to watch tv.

There are Walgreens, Subway and McDonald's in the immediate neighbor. Union Station is half mile away.
A little old and small room. The only electric utility in my room is a coffee maker which ironically you can dip your finger in the water it cooked. I tried many tricks to get hot water but in vain. Fortunately the front desk guided me to the coffee room in the basement. It was the coldest day in IL in these several years and you cannot expose to the open air even in a minute.
For the price I pay I should not complain.

Great customer service/front desk!
Front desk was amazing at upgrading our room with a bathtub when we checked in! The quick customer service is great here, especially for quick overnight trips to the city like for concerts and dinners etc. the hotel is a bit old/rundown and we did have issues in our room but we only stayed one night so it wasn’t anything horrible (the fridge door fell off and the tv didn’t work), if you stay long term I could see a few issues arising just due to the hotel being outdated. But the customer service would be right on anything needed from our experience. Other than the little issues like that it was a good experience!

All good but surprised by sizable security deposit required at check-in. Room was already prepaid with no obvious mention of security deposit. Return of deposit reported to take 4 to 5 business days.

- there are dirty stains in sleeping bed sheet.
- smell in room not at all good
- the room looks olds and the walls missed paint in few places.
- the room temperature is too much high in mid night and unable to decrease with temperature setting.
- the bathroom towels not at all giving good smell to use

Although the room was clean and the bed was very comfortable I don’t think I would choose to stay here again.
I arrived very early and was told that if a room was ready it would cost me $25 if I wanted it before check in (2 pm). While I didn’t expect the room to be ready I have never stayed at a hotel where the would charge extra when the room was ready. This left a bad taste in my mouth and I opted to just wait until check in. I stored my luggage.
When I returned just before 2 pm I was able to use the kiosk to register and get my key. When I presented my luggage receipt to the front desk I waited 15 min for my luggage, which never came. I was finally escorted to luggage storage where I had to find my bag myself.
Finally, the room was too warm and the entire building was on heat. Luckily the staff brought a fan which helped a lot, but had they been out of fans I would have been out of luck.
Only stayed for one night, but there are better places to stay in Chicago.

It is a quick walk to the Christmaskindle market and the parks. We enjoyed being able to walk to see the Christmas decorations and stop in at great restaurants and bars to warm up. Everyone at the hotel was very nice and helpful! Definitely will stay again.

All staff were extremely friendly and great to have. Adrian met us at the front and she checked us in an hour and a half early and said it was no problem at all. In the morning we were late with meetings and called the front desk and they were gracious enough to let us check out a few minutes later with no issues at all. The amenities in the hotel are nice and convenient to have a restaurant attached near the front. The one issue that I had was with the showers. I take longer showers and every five minutes the water pressure suddenly drops. Other than that no issue at all and highly recommend this clean and calm hotel in a perfect location to anyone looking to have a great time in Chicago.

Perfect hotel for the price and check in was super easy. Upon entering my room it smelled freshly cleaned but the toilet doesn’t flush well also handle had a crack on it. Other than that the bed was comfy and came with plenty pillows. Would definitely stay here again because it is conveniently located close to everything.

I always stay at Club Quarters if I have to be in downtown Chicago. It's 2 blocks from the Art Institute and Russian Tea Time, or 2 blocks from the County buildings (north), easy access to the train in either direction. The rooms are perfectly sized and wonderfully clean. I like that they have nice desk areas for any work that must be done. The staff are friendly and helpful. The Elephant and Castle is right next door, and you can arrange to get breakfast there

I have stayed at Club Quarters on several occasions. The location adjacent to the CTA Blue Line station is perfect for arriving or departing from O'Hare Airport - also a short walk to the Amtrak station. The staff members are amazing - so very welcoming and ready to assist in any situation.

Parking was the only thing I’d say was slightly less than perfect. The hotel had none but has very helpful staff to give you directions for security parking nearby which is very decent when the cost of such great space is considered in downtown Chicago. Very good value. Very good service

Stayed for a weekend in downtown Chicago. Great location, safe elevators (must have a key to get to rooms), friendly and helpful staff. Room was small but nicely furnished to make it seem bigger. There was a fridge and coffee maker. No safe. Bed was just ok, room needed some updating, carpet was old and frayed some. Exercise room was closed so cannot comment on that. Overall not a bad stay - price was a little high fo the room.

Save yourself the hassle and money!
The hotel is in a great location for the marathon, but the property itself leaves a lot to be desired. Thick layer of dust on the remote, phone, end tables, a shower head that did not work evenly, and overall dilapidated condition of the hotel means I will not risk bringing family or staying here again. Front desk was clueless about food options and the guy there was always leaning over the desk and very uninterested in helping. Not a good value!
