I booked a studio suite at the Radisson Wall Street. I chose this hotel because it is located near the Staten Island Ferry and wanted to walk there the next morning at 5:00 am to take the ferry to the NYC Marathon. When I arrived at the Radisson the front desk told me that my booking was transferred to the Holiday Inn Lower East Side approximately 5 trains stops away. I was very upset that no notice was ever provided to me and in fact had received a reminder email of my Radisson booking only a few days prior. Needing a place to stay for the night, I took a train to the Holiday Inn. I was charged the full price at the Holiday Inn despite the fact that there was no suite available. Overall, horrible experience. I was treated with disrespect by both hotel chains.

Based on the other reviews, I was surprised to find this hotel in decent shape and very clean. Check-in was super easy and the parking garage is right around the corner. The rooms are very basic (they don't have coffee machines or irons etc..) but it was absolutely perfect for a one-night stay. The heater wasn't loud, as other reviews mentioned, and the room's temperature was easily changed. I'll definitely consider going back here the next time I visit NYC.

Absolutely DISGUSTED with Radisson. My wife and I returned to our room from a holiday party around 2 AM. Shortly after returning, a man barges into our locked room! My wife is completely undressed, we’re both in shock, and after a brief confrontation the man leaves. We find out shortly after that it was a hotel employee!! He was on probation, left completely unsupervised (no mgmt. on staff), and given unbridled access to hotel systems. We also learned that he is not someone who would otherwise have room access, like a maintenance or cleaning employee would - he specifically created a key for OUR room! I believe he had bad intentions… we are traumatized by this incident. A complete failure in hotel security and negligent hiring. After an initial phone call, hotel management has disappeared. Stay away from this hotel at all costs.

I stayed for 2 nights and my experience wasn’t pleasant at all. The reception lady was rude and not welcoming from the beginning, the room was dirty and in the morning I revealed cow roach climbing out the bed, it was disgusting. When I went down to the reception, lady did not seem to be surprised and she told she sent someone to the room, but 2 hours later my room still was the same and no one came. If you are looking for a hotel in this area, there are multiple nice options and even cheaper. It’s very disappointing to have such experience for this big brand!

Location is excellent, a short walk from Stock Exchange and WTC. Apart from that though it doesnt have a lot more; it feels run down and neglected with closed bar and next to no communal areas. Lifts are in a poor state, especially the controls; ice machines in corridors dont work. Upside, it was clean

Great area with lots to do within walking distance. The first room I was given did not have working heat and it was unbearably cold. Thankfully, the staff was great and relocated me super fast. The next room was warmer, but I still couldn’t adjust the temperature. The property is pretty outdated as well. For the price and location, I’d stay here again

Overall, I want to say the staff was very helpful and kind, trying to fix the problems that they could control. It was a decent location; close to the subway. The property, however, was pretty awful. There was no thermostat in our room, so we walked in and it was super stuffy and hot. A staff member came up to adjust our temperature manually, but said the only options were full-blast AC or opening the window; we had him crack the window but then got bugs and noise from Wall Street all night. The room was not clean; there were used tissues and trash beside the bed. I chose the 14th floor because they said the wifi would reach to that floor (my other option being the 19th floor), but the wifi didn't work on the 14th anyway. Wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Very mediocre hotel. Rooms are large and clean but bedding included only a top sheet and a thin piece of material as a cover - no blanket, comforter, or duvet. You cannot control the temperature of your room and HVAC unit cycles and comes on (very loudly) every 10-15 minutes 24 hrs a day. No Wi-Fi on upper hotel floors, unimpressive lobby. Online pictures are deceiving.

I rarely write negative reviews. However, other visitors have to be informed just as I would like to be for future travel decisions. The elevators are dirty and worn out. Card censors are broken and management didn't care to fix them. The room is old and misses necessary features like the safe, working fridge, and decent mattress. But what surprised me is that they don't have normal heaters. They use AC to warm up the air in the room, which is very bad as it blows warm air and it's very unhealthy. You can't adjust it and it's very loud making you constantly wake up at night. The hotel's management should really fix this property before travelers can be allowed to visit. Simple replies to negative remarks by other visitors are unacceptable.

Terrible.
This was the worst hotel experience I’ve had. There was no heat in the room and maintenance confirmed that the compressor was broken and they will let the going desk know we needed another room. We waited and didn’t hear from them, so we went to the lobby. They stared at us and only said, “sorry, we can’t do anything.” After pressing the matter, they eventually said they will give us a refund. I am still waiting for the refund and they will not give it me/hotels.com customer service and are repeating the same line to us “we cannot help you.” We are still trying to reach them. I do not recommend this hotel.

I wanted a coat dry cleaned and took it to the desk well before the 8:30 am deadline but when I went to pick it up that evening after 7 pm I found it had not even been picked up. Since i was checking out the next morning the only way I could have had it done was to pay extra for overnight and I wasn't confident I'd get it back in time even if I did try overnight. The water in the shower took so long to get warm I almost gave up on hot water before it finally got warm. I took a shower at different times and it didn't seem to matter the time. I put the "do not disturb" placard on the door since I didn't need housekeeping but a chair in the room had been moved while we were out so someone came in the room anyway.

The heating system could not be regulated from the room, and an "engineer" had to called, which meant that either you slept with a noisy heating unit or the room was extremely cold. Staff not the friendliest. Elevator card reader broken with exposed wires. Carpet dirty in room. On the plus, pretty cheap for NY, decent location and good size room.

Do Not Book. Hotel is very dated and needs cleaning and updates throughout. Room had no Hot Water and could not take showers. Heat did not work and window was not closed properly and drafty. Rugs in room were dirty. Parking was an issue. Garage recommend was difficult to enter and after finally getting in and scraping my car on a pillar I was told they were full and had to back up a steep exit ramp. Overall a disaster of a stay. Google another hotel. This is not your place to stay.

DO NOT STAY HERE
I would never even think to stay here again. The room I checked into had filthy carpets and reeked of urine as if someone peed all over the floor. The room was also really cold and when I checked the thermostat (which you can’t control) the temp read 60 degrees. I went to the front desk and told them of my problems, expecting to be moved. Instead I was told “all the rooms are inspected by housekeeping before check in”. Okay. They sent an engineer to the room to turn the heat on and housekeeping to “freshen” the room, but when they came they smelled how bad it was and told the front desk themselves and ONLY then was I finally moved into a new room with no smell but still filthy carpeting. The photos are NOT RECENT. It looks completely run down here and I had the feeling that a lot of folks who stayed here feel tricked.

This was truly the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. First, it took 45 minutes to check in because there is only one person staffed at the desk. The room had a broken phone and thermostat. It was so cold in the room that it made us sick and they couldn’t even provide blankets. Only one elevator worked during our whole stay so it took ages to get in and out. The worst thing of all is that the mattress was MOLDY. A 2-star hotel at best. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Staff were very friendly and accommodating, we travelled with 3 other couples and they ensured our rooms were close together. AC in my room did not work. No panel on wall to adjust temperature, 1 other couple I was traveling with had this issue as well but other two couples had control panels and cool air worked. Engineer came to our room two days in a row to lower temperature but it did nothing so we gave up. Only one of three elevators were working during our 5 night stay, and the one elevator that was operating was constantly glitching, doors not closing or getting stuck on floors. This was frustrating. Had a few cold showers as well. If you shower late at night or early in the morning you need to run the water for 10 minutes or more to start getting any warm water. Floors in rooms very dirty and worn out. Hotel was used as a shelter during pandemic but many NYC hotels were as well, many of them high end so this fact did not bother me. However, the AC unit, cold water, elevator and condition of the carpet in the room did.

Hotel is poorly maintained with lots of broken things here and there. AC units in the rooms are loud as hell so its impossible to sleap, the only way to change the temperature or turn it off is to call a front desk and they send an engineer to manually adjust the unit. LOVE THIS HOTEL!
I love this hotel. This was my second stay with them this winter and I plan on staying with them again next month. I love the rooms I've had. They're comfortable and set up really effectively. They have a pull out desk under another, longer desk so you can really spread yourself out whether you're doing work, eating, or both. The blackout curtains work great. The bed is really comfortable. There's space to move around and you can really relax in your room. The only way it could be better was if it had a fridge and microwave.

This was a nice, modern-looking room. Everything was clean and worked. There are no tubs in any of the rooms, and that was my only complaint. Nice to have a keurig in the room as many NYC hotels seem not to have coffee makers. I would definitely stay here again. Very convenient to the 4/5/6 and a short walk to the seaport. Many new restaurants and other businesses have cropped up down here making it a more appealing place to stay than it would have been even ten years ago.

Operational Issues Not Ready For Guests
On arrival, Freedom, the gentleman at the front desk greeted us. He was lovely but he was also managing the desk alone late in the evening. Why? Some rooms without electricity, no hot water or phones I overheard guests saying at the front desk. Which I believe actually lead to them canceling my bosses room, who was arriving at 5.30 am in the morning and checking out the same morning at 11 am! She just needed somewhere to rest her head for a couple of hours prior to our business engagement at Manhatta, which is located steps away from the hotel. Radisson confirmed and confirmed each time I walked in to say hello, that they still had her reservation and that they do not give away rooms regardless of the time she was checking in. But as I walked back into the hotel, and asked again, three people behind the desk including a manager said they were booked and because it was a third party booking through Hotels.com, they could not help me. If it wasn't for me calling Hotels.com, and them demanding they provide my boss a room, The Radisson would have put my boss in accomodations 3 miles away, I was told which was within the policy.Well, this was my NYC hotel experience.

The hotel looks like it has just been refurbished. Spotless and comfortable. We had a twin room and there is space to layout our 6 luggages! Bathroom is functional but I find the hairdryer a tad too close to the toilet. Could have kept it in one of the drawers in the room. There’s a water station on my floor which is really convenient. Wall Street Station and a Duane Reade less a minute walk away. What more can I ask for :)

Wasn’t the best.
First, hotels.com promised a room with free parking when the hotel does not even have a parking garage associated with them. Then, we had requested an early check in, which was not ready in time for us. When our room was ready, they accidentally gave us an already occupied room. The towels smelled weird, the sink was cracked, and I was nervous someone else was going to have a room mix up with us. The gentleman at the front desk was nice and helpful with what he could do (I unfortunately forget his name), but overall the experience wasn’t the best.

Fecal matter
When we checked in the staff initially said he only had reservations for one night when I had booked for 2. I had to show him the email confirmation for him to locate the correct reservation. The next morning we discovered fecal matter on the wall next to the toilet which we hadn't noticed before. Also a stain on one sheet looked like the same. When the housekeeper checked she said it look fresh basically accusing us of putting the disgusting feces ourselves in the room. The manager told us the same thing after looking at the photo the housekeeper took. We did get a room change but being accusing of such a disgusting act is not how hotel staff should treat customers. We had to ask twice to have a working coffee machine brought to the room. Do not recommend this hotel.

Good place to stay
We took a quick trip to NYC and stayed 2 nights here. The hotel is very conveniently located, about a block from the Wall St. subway (on weekends, that entrance is closed, but it's about 2 blocks to the next entrance), and about a 10-minute walk to the World Trade Center. The only reason I didn't give it the highest rating is because the elevator had some issues, i.e., when I was trying to get to the 5th floor, it got there, but the display said 3. But the bed was very comfortable, there is a good selection of TV channels, the room was clean, and the hotel had a reasonable noise level, nothing that kept me awake.

High Tech Hoteling with Old Fashioned Good Service
The Radisson Hotel near Wall St. is in a very good location near dining and business venues. The hotel and my room were immaculately clean, fresh smelling, and comfortable. This hotel is an excellent example of efficiency and economy with comfort. It is very up-to-date. Shower feels great, bed comfy and pillows comfy all for a very reasonable price. Toiletries are provided as well. Info on checkout, etc. is all on the TV which once again shows efficiency. The front desk staff and hotel cleaning staff deserve a nod of praise and compliment for excellent service. Example, I had asked if a local restaurant was open for lunch. Without hesitation, Kirsten/Kristen at the front desk immediately called the restaurant to check on their hours. That was nice. Kudos to Radisson for high tech hoteling with old fashioned good service.

Very clean and updated. Felt like a larger room than it was. Only disappointment was no refrigerator.

Horrible
I was assaulted by a dude who followed me into my room, so clearly their key card elevator system sucks. The rooms were small, and I flew in a 8 am and nobody would give me an early check in. Despite the fact that I was extremely plane sick. The location is nice though. However I don’t think anyone should stay here

Great loca
I would never stay here. The staff is very rude and does not Help when there’s an issue. When I came they over booked the hotel and immediately dismiss people who were booking through any third party. They did not give us another option. Finally when they did give me a room it belong to somebody else. There was five of us displaced and we were told to go park our cars and that they would find us another location. When I parked my car and came back, they found the location a few blocks away and wanted me to walk with my luggage at 2 AM to the hotel. They tried to not comp me for the room, The manager was horrible, and they had been oversold for multiple nights and did not arrange it prior to the day. They also lied about parking, this is just a horrible experience overall. We ended up checking in at 4 AM, I asked to be compensated for breakfast, one night manager said OK but did not give me a voucher to take over to the other hotel. I was actually charged and when I mentioned that to the top manager at the Radisson, he said that he will honor at one time but that this is not their usual protocol to come for breakfast for inconvenience of the customer. It was The hotels fault not mine

The check in was great, quick and easy and they let us have our room at 10:00am after a red eye which was nice. The concerning part of the stay was that at midnight our locked door was opened and then the quickly shut, the front desk then called to ask “who’s in the room with you” and when I called back they said that they were checking to see who was in the room as they thought I was checking in the next day. I had given my credit card for incidentals and were issued keys so I’m unsure how they would not know we were staying in there and why going into a locked door with a do not disturb tag on the handle is an acceptable practice. The morning staff were understanding of the issue and did seem concerned and the gentleman who checked us in was again helpful and accommodating on the best price to get a cab to the airport. The bed was comfy and the room was a typical Manhattan small room that is a bit run down.

Parking space issues
In the page you advertise parking and the Hotel doesn’t provide one, this added 175 US dollars more to my trip.

Perfect location for a downtown stay
Cannot beat the location. Easy to hop on transit and get uptown or across the bridge to Brooklyn. Rooms are cozy and the desk area was super cute. My only suggestion was for a legit bathroom door vs the sliding door. Just for some added privacy. All the staff were helpful and accommodating. It seemed like our entire floor had recently undergone a renovation as everything was clean and new.

Would definitely stay here again
Super location. Great staff. I think we had a family room which was suitably sized. I thought it was very good value for NYC.

Overall the hotel looked good, fairly clean. The staff dosen't seem to be trained properly. Was told parking would be 35 a night, was charged 70. The heater was very loud coming on every 15 minutes. Was then charged again 2 days after checking out and still in the peocess of settling that.

This Radisson is listed as a 4 star hotel as the hotel that was once where it is located was a higher end hotel, but it is more like a budget hotel. I would rate it as a 2 star hotel, which is evident as soon as you get on the outdated elevator that looks like it hasn’t been cosmetically maintained in years. Our room was disappointing in comparison to the photos. When it comes down to details, there was no attention to them. The paint was chipping, the shower had a poor caulking job, there were marks on the walls. Worst of all - it was 72 degrees in our room when we entered it, and the thermostat was not able to be controlled by us as it was controlled by the hotel. By the time we woke up the next morning, it was 80 degrees in our room according to our thermostat! The window was not able to be kept open as it was too heavy and kept closing, so we couldn’t even open it to let some cool air in. We both got incredibly dried out and stuffed up from sleeping in such warm temperatures. We left the day and came back to the room being 75 degrees, so we alerted the front desk and they sent up an engineer. After about 45 minutes and now 8:45 at night, they figured out how to set the temperature by going up on a ladder and taking apart our air system, which is when they found out our room was set to 90 degrees. The staff was very friendly, but other than that we were not happy with our stay.

Was a great location in the Financial District. Nothing fancy but it was a clean and comfortable stay for my 2 day visit in NYC. Near Cipriani’s and the iconic Tiffany’s and a stone’s throw from the NY Stock Exchange. I didn’t check out any of the hotel’s amenities. Not sure if there was any? But my bed was comfortable and my room was clean. The staff was friendly. A decent stay if you need a place to rest your head

The hotel was very good, however the hotels.com ad indicated that parking was free. The front desk clerk told us that parking was available for $45 / day. We paid $45 to park on a weekend.

It is a nice hotel. The rooms are small, but have just what you need. The outside wall is mostly windows, and the bed is next to it, so it can be noisy. There is a church nearby and the bells are very loud when they ring. It is a fairly quiet section of NY at night, but you will hear sirens and such. The bathroom is small so there is only a shower, no tub. My only complaints are that there are no utensils or straws for stirring the coffee/tea, they say you can get ice cold water bottles on each floor and the machines are there, but nothing to put the water in, and my standard complaint for most hotels - they need to have a better selection of pillows. Not everyone likes big fat pillows.

The tv in the room had some automated system that reset every 15 mins, so you had to turn it off and back on to watch the tv channel again. Cell phone pairing on the tv also didn’t work like the tv instructions said it would.

Disappointing Stay
When we arrived, check-in was quick and the people at the front desk were friendly. Got to our room on the 21st floor, which was for 3 people. The carpet was pretty yucky, the window shade was broken and the ceiling was leaking. Called the front desk, went back down and was assigned a new room, also on the top floor. That room was also very shabby, but the big issue was there was no where for our son to sleep. Back down to the front desk. We were given two rooms on the 20th floor relatively close to each other, which was fine except that we woke in the morning to discover the ceiling in one of two rooms was leaking too!! Washed up and told the people working at the desk. Returned later and was told the room would be ready when we returned later in the evening. Arrived at hotel around 11:00 p.m. after a day out. Was told the room must be fine as there was no note otherwise. Went to the room and the bed had plastic sheeting on it and there was plaster on the floor - clearly a work in progress. Went back down to the desk and was given another room on a different floor. If you are counting, that's 4 different rooms over the course of a 2 night stay. So our family trip ended in being 10 floors apart, which made for a confusing morning as our luggage was intermingled the way any family's might be. While people were friendly, it all felt very unorganized and to change rooms so many times was frustrating.
