Love this hotel - perfect location. We had a view of the Empire State Building! And our room was large with 2 queen beds !
VERY CLEAN but they are remodeling and by March it should all be done - it will be perfect then - absolutely you should stay here if you get a chance

The workers were extremely nice, room was fairly large and clean ESPECIALLY for New York! It was about 10-15 min walk away from most of the places we went to! If we took an uber to anywhere else, it was less than $20!

Everything from top to bottom was excellent. The entire staff was amazing… anything you need, they took care of it right away. The doorman and front desk staff were so friendly and helpful. The cleaning staff was also excellent as well. We will most certainly be back on our next trip

No heat in room
I don't know how this property got such a high rating. It's a 2 star hotel at best. I had no heat in the room I stayed in and they didn't have any rooms I could change too, so they gave me this space heater instead to use. The shower is soo small. Its one reason why they don't show it when displaying their hotel's pictures. The carpet was dirty. I expected a lot from this hotel based on the rating reviews, but I was soo disappointed.

This was our first family trip to a different state. After doing so much research and reading reviews we decided on this hotel. We weren’t at all familiar with the area, so our stay was based on all the places we wanted to visit (Times Square, MoMA, battery park, ground zero, Rockefeller plaza). Times Square was about a 13 minute walk. We even walked the opposite way to battery park and towards ground zero which was about 25-30 mins (with multiple stops). A lot of sight seeing so the long walk was no issue for us. The staff were absolutely incredible and hospitable. Cleaning staff was incredibly friendly. Constantly greeted with smiles and ‘good mornings/afternoons/nights’. Our room was one of the remodeled junior suites and it was so clean, cozy and surprisingly spacious! We had a spectacular view of the Empire State Building. We came not expecting to want to make a second trip, but our stay and overall experience was truly memorable and are already planning our next visit at this exact same hotel. As someone who truly pays attention to reviews and is picky with hotels, don’t pay attention to the few negative reviews, you will not regret staying here. Everything was conveniently close whether you chose to walk or Uber. Thank you for making our family trip unforgettable!

Staff were very friendly and professional. Easy check in and our room was ready early.
The concierge was helpful and held our bags after checkout so we could explore the city some more.
The location was ideal. Easy walk to Times Square and great places for snacks nearby.

The staff was amazing very nice and professional. The 2 doorman Michael and Will were amazing friendly always greeted you with a smile, willing to help with recommendations. The only downsize was we stayed on the floor where the maids store the cleaning supplies so you can hear them early in the morning. Aside that would stay there again.

Brilliant stay in a great location
Brilliant stay in a great hotel. Perfect location for all that Manhattan has to offer 100m from the FlatIron Building. Opposite a fun rooftop bar - 15 min walk to Madison Square Garden, and Broadway. The staff were very helpful and welcoming and were able to give us a room facing the Empire State Building.

We have stayed here before, and will hopefully stay here again. The location is great, the rooms are very large. Staff is friendly and courteous. The only reason I am not giving a 5 star review, is that it would take away from a real true 5-Star hotel. However, don't be fooled, this is an excellent place to stay in NYC. Pricing is great; Location is great; Rooms are great; solid 4-star hotel.

This is a very cool location. Staff are all so attentive and the rooms are super clean and cozy with nicely sized bathrooms. Stayed in a room with two double beds for me and my teenage daughter and it was perfect. Close to Soho and Chelsea for shopping and subway stops all around for everything else. Can't go wrong with Broadway Plaza Hotel

We LOVED this hotel! The room was sooo clean and soo spacious! I don’t know anywhere else you can get so much space in NYC, especially double KING beds. It was perfect!! The staff was so friendly and helpful and we felt so safe. There aren’t a lot of extra amenities, but the space, location, and price make this place WELL worth it. We would definitely stay here again!!

We enjoyed our 2 night stay. The property is very nice and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Very convenient location and we even had a partial view of the Empire State Building. The only improvement would be to have a couple of more pillows on the bed.

We stayed at the Broadway Plaza for 4 nights during the Halloween break. We are a family of five with 3 children. The staff at the hotel were excellent and our room was fantastic- we had a deluxe junior suite.
I would strongly recommend this hotel as a family friendly hotel and a great place to base yourself in Manhattan. We were able to walk everywhere that we wanted to go and had access to great shops and restaurants. Five stars

We just returned from a quick trip to NY to see the holiday decorations, and stayed at the Broadway Plaza for the first time. I say first, because it will not be our last stay!!
The location is convenient to subways and easily walkable to shopping or restaurants and bars. The doorman was EXCEPTIONAL, and the concierge was ALWAYS helpful. Wonderful experience.

We stayed for two nights at the start of December. The hotel is really well situated within easy walking distance of Times Square and other famous attractions. The view from our bedroom window was the Empire State Building!
Staff were very nice and sorted out a kettle so us brits could enjoy our morning cup of tea.

The staff at Broadway Plaza is top notch. It is a smaller, more boutique type hotel with a beautiful lobby area. The room was spacious, especially for NYC. With a killer view and great location. Included a table with 2 chairs and mini fridge. The bathroom was a bit dated but also spacious. It appeared they may be renovating on the top floor. But any slight negatives are completely overshadowed by the excellent staff. You wont find better in NYC! Will definitely be returning.

Lovely little hotel in the heart of mid town Manhattan. Easy access to Times Square, Empire State and Broadway. Rooms are clean and functional and was a perfect base for our trip. Don’t expect 5 star luxury but rooms are comfortable and would suit travellers looking for an inexpensive hotel to explore Manhattan. Staff were really friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. If you didn’t already know, New York is very expensive so take plenty of spending money!!

Superb location!
Great location and helpful staff. Rooms were really nice. Only thing I'd change would have been a room on a higher floor we were on the 5th floor and we could hear all the street noise got woken up most nights by people singing and talking in the street (we knew there was nothing that could be done by the team it was out of their control) . it either needs double glazing or stay on the top floor. Would highly recommend despite the noise and would stay here again, but request a room on the upper floors.

The position was fantastic pretty central but away from the noise. Staff were lovely and the room was nice and big. The complimentary water was a thoughtful touch. Only slight negative was that there was not enough hooks/towel rails but really minor in the the scheme of things. Will definitely stay there again if i ever happen to be in new york. Such a wonderful experience

Not a fault to pick at all. Our 2nd stay at this hotel and won't be our last. The hotel staff are amazing, very friendly and attentive. We were in a renovated room 502 which was nice and modern, very spacious, has all you need like a safe, fridge, a dining table for 2, coffee and water which are all in with the price of the room. We stayed here again due to location and we had stayed previously so knew what to expect. It's been 4 years since we stayed here and I would say the surrounding area has also improved a lot.

Terrible overpriced underdelivered experience
Check in was 1/2 hour late waiting for room to be cleaned??? Room was not cleaned. Bottom sheet had lipstick on it. Sheets brought up did not fit so had to try and make them work.

The stay was amazing. We arrived a couple of hours before check in and they held out bags until check in. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The hotel is very clean as soon as you walk in and the room was amazing as well. Very clean the bathroom the floors the beds all very clean. The view was also a plus. I would definitely stay her again and recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to NYC.

Everything was fine except the check-out day. Hot water from my shower and sink was brown. Called the front desk and was told they had an issue with the hot water tank yesterday. I wish they had given me notice because I was late to my meeting due to the fact I needed to run the hot water for over 15 minutes before using.

Solid offering in a convenient location
Staff was very helpful in answering questions, room itself was larger than most in NYC for the money: nice view of the Empire State from my room. It was a bit loud even on the 10th floor but understandable for New York. While the blinds work fine, black out curtains would be a welcome addition for sleep. Some snacks and water are also included, which was a convenient perk.

The staff was great every time we walked into the lobby. Friendly and welcoming. The location was perfect and we all had the best time! Walking distance to most of the hotspots and the Mexican restaurant on the corner was great! The manager and the bartender and entire staff made us feel like we were hanging in our neighborhood bar every night. Amazing and thank you!!!

The location was great and within walking distance of numerous places. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was terrific and much larger than expected. Everything was very clean and comfortable. I woukd definitely recommend this hotel.

Noisy but nice, friendly service
2nd stay at Broadway Plaza, stayed in an older (not renovated) king room. On the first trip, I stayed in the same type of room except with a queen bed.
I recommend the queen room for 2 ppl, since the layout of the king was #awkward.
About 2 ft of hanging space for clothes tucked in a corner which was hard to access around the bed and the desk.
No side table on one side of the bed, teeny tiny fridge... overall, not super comfortable for a 4 night business stay. If you're out all day and night you may not care though, bed was comfy, room was clean, and fairly spacious, just awkwardly configured.
Hallway smelled like pot in the morning, although it's hard to go anywhere in NYC these days without running into the smell of pot.
Staff was friendly and helpful, doorman, front desk, housekeeping, all were quite attentive.
"Resort fee" - I would give this feedback to hotels everywhere employing this cash grab- just stop.
Everyone expects internet and amenities like water, coffee in the room, just build it into the price instead of nickel and diming. Unless there's something over and above what one would expect, it's off-putting, and often not clearly conveyed on booking sites.
This area is very noisy, be sure to bring ear plugs if you want to catch some shut eye.

Fab location and our rooms had a view of the Empire State Building - lovely to wake up to and watch the light shows on the hour in the evening.
Very spacious rooms, with twin beds and a table/chairs. Massive shower. Well equipped - fridge, coffee machine, hairdryer, steamer.
Super clean everywhere. Staff were always friendly and welcoming, door opened when you left and returned.
Right next to a great ice cream shop and 230 5th rooftop bar.
Metro entrance on the end of the block for easy access to everywhere.

My friends and I stayed at this hotel for a quick girls trip to NYC. We loved our experience. The hotel staff were very friendly, and our room was surprisingly large for a NYC hotel room. We stayed in the Gotham Junior Suite, which has a king bed and a pull-out couch with a queen mattress. The bathroom was small, but modern and clean. It was in a great location (lots for delicious Vegetarian/vegan friendly restaurant options in walking distance). I would definitely stay here again in the future.

This is one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in. The staff were fantastic and super friendly, going out of their way to be helpful, and the rooms a good size and very well appointed. The location is perfect for visiting any area of Manhattan, whether by train, bus or on foot. It is located on Broadway itself, and surrounded by many bars and restaurants. The only real problem we had was on the Saturday night of our stay, and a very popular rooftop bar directly opposite the hotel which was very very noisy until four in the morning. But when you are in the city that never sleeps, you have to accept things like that.....

The hotel is in an excellent location on Broadway within walking distance of major sights and very close to 28th street subway. The staff are all friendly and helpful. We had a problem with the safe but someone arrived within minutes of reporting it and it was fixed. We met the hotel manager in the elevator, seemed a really nice guy. The room (201)was extremely spacious for a NYC hotel room and was very quiet. Looking at the fire escape plan it seemed all the rooms were of different shapes and sizes because of the shape of the building. Bottled water was supplied daily and there was a coffee machine and welcome snacks in the room. The room looked recently renovated. No breakfast was available but we were given discount vouchers for breakfast or lunch at the Mexican restaurant next door. There were plenty of dining options nearby. Would recommend.

All staff was really friendly and helpful, fun to talk with and make you feel welcome everyday! Any questions or help needed is sorted out ASAP, and the hotel rooms are spacious with room to walk around. We also had an direct empire state view which is as amazing to see both during the night and day. Overall would highly recommend staying here, I know we definitely will again!

We so enjoyed our stay and would recommend the Broadway Plaza to anyone travelling to New York. Everything was great! All of the staff were friendly. Extremely helpful. The room was clean and we had so much space. It also is in a great location. So many options nearby. The Subway is close if you need it. Attractions are in every direction from this location. It was honestly so great, and probably our most discussed and agreed upon highlight of our trip. I cannot say enough.

When I arrived my room wasn't ready, but since there was someplace I had to be they very graciously stored my suitcase until I returned. The check-in process was very easy and they validated my parking ticket so I could receive a significant discount. My room was clean comfortable and I felt at ease. Over-all I would definitely stay there again.

I am so glad I chose Broadway Plaza Hotel to stay. I did a lot of research to find a room for two adults and two teens that was big enough for a comfortable stay (inc luggage). It did not disappoint- in fact it exceeded my expectations.
Absolutely huge. Impeccably clean. Two king sized REALLY comfortable beds. A large beautiful bathroom. View of the Empire State Building. And truly wonderful and helpful staff in every single encounter- from reception, concierge, bellmen and housekeeping. Wow!
I simply can’t fault them and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. I was really sad to leave as they made us feel at home.
A great area too- close enough to everything but far enough away from Times Square. Absolutely perfect!

It was the last night of our stay in NY. We were pleasantly surprised at the size & comfort of our room. The concierge was lovely. He was happy, friendly and helpful. All of our needs were met & questions answered. There was definite road noise at night, but aside from that, I would completely recommend this property.
