Great pool area, fantastic for kids. Lots of entertainment... and cool Tiki bar. Anything you need they are happy to get it for you. Even a couple security guards roaming the property. Very well run!

Property itself was well located with nice staff and great room layouts. The sales job upon check in was less than ideal. Understand it’s a time share property but even when we said no thanks she said she had to keep going because it’s her job. Bartender by the pool was sweet and helpful. The shuttle to the pier was also a great perk. Would stay here again.

Great for little kids, short walk to the beach which was amazing! Surrounded by small shops, local fast food chains (again great for little kids), yet local eateries also near by for the adults.
The only issues we had were the thinness of the walls- we could hear the couple next to us talking at night and a family with little kids running around. It took a bit for us to figure out the hot water, but we got there.
This is a timeshare community, so it’s up to you if you want to listen to their pitch- they do pay you for your time, but it was supposed to be 60 mins and it was 105 (1 hr 45mins) which was hard with little kids sitting there.

Great location. Staff was wonderful. Property exposed to streets and front building is very noisy all day and night long. Anyone can walk onto property to access room, even though some of the parking (not ours) was semi-secure. Great bar, great people, older infrastructure.

Be ready to be hounded about doing a meeting for a time share. We got a note on our door daily. The layout was not gteat if your in building one. Plenty of room in the place.

Loved the short walk to the beach and the rentals that were on the beach. The shower glass was not caulked and sealed so it leaked water all over the floor. The beds weren’t real comfortable. There was no carpet in the room which was good since it is a beach resort, but a broom would have been nice to have in the room for sand clean up. You could hear every move the people made above us even when the toilet was flushed. Overall it was an ok place to stay.

We were told that there was a gym. There wasn't. The pool was closed for maintenance. They said that they emailed us - no one in our party received any communication. The food at the Tiki bar was terrible. We ordered nachos and the chips were extremely stale. We were told that beach chairs were included - they weren't. Begrudgingly the front desk allowed us to get 4 chairs for the 10 of us. We were told that there was a free shuttle van to the pier. They shut it down before dinnertime. We think it is because there were not a lot of people at the hotel. They also had listed some activities by the pool area. When we asked about it, the person told us that the activities weren't going to happen since there wasn't a lot of people staying there. So, no water ice for our group. I would NOT recommend staying here.

Staff was exceptionally kind and helpful. Anything we needed was a call or text away. I had two little kids 18 months and 3 years old. Even though there was storms during our stay we able to grab some activities from the activity center to keep us busy in our room until they cleared and we were able to enjoy the pools and sun again!

There are 2 nearby grocery stores which was nice. We didn’t use them but they have gas grills if you wanted to cook on the grill. Enjoyed the hot tub, pool, lazy River and beach. Staff were helpful. We ordered food and drinks from the pool bar which was very good. It would be nice to have housekeeping during our 8 day stay, but we made it work. Couldn’t get Netflix to work on the tv, it was also limited to 3 devices on WiFi at a time which was hard since there were 4 of us. We took the shuttle down to the Cocoa Beach pier which had some stores and we ate at a restaurant overlooking the beach and watched the surfers. We drove into Orlando which wasn’t too far. We had a great time.

Overall it was ok but compared to other westgate properties I’ve stayed at, it was subpar. For example, the wifi was terrible which made it very frustrating to use for a party of 6 visiting from out of the country. As well, the dishwasher should have been upgraded with the renovations. I also recommend installing hooks both in the from entrance and all the washrooms.

Loved this property. Perfect for a get away with young kids. Friendly staff and very clean. I wasn’t aware at the time but if you want your room cleaned or restocked during your stay you need to request that. Not an issue for us and we plan on returning.

Excellent stay. Condo was a little dark but clean and updated. We had everything we needed. Our room was right by the bar. We thought it would be noisy but not at all. Lazy river was warm and fun. Super easy walk to the beach. Food and drinks were awesome. Highly recommend

Great place to stay! We stayed for a couple nights with the our kids.All of the pools are heated (splash pad, lazy river, main pool and kiddy pool and a hot tub) . They had cute activities for the kids to do throughout the day. Beach access is just a short walk. Everyone was very friendly. The rooms were nice as well.

We had a great time. The kids enjoyed the splashpad and we enjoyed the drinks at the tiki bar. The place was clean and the service was friendly. The only thing I didn't like was the timeshare presentation took longer than expected. But we will definitely come again.

This “resort” was NOTHING that we expected. For starters, it’s a timeshare, not a hotel. There is no room service and the beach is farther than they stated. The room was filthy! When we opened the pullout couch, there was blood stains on the mattress. We will NEVER stay here again!

We had a delightful stay! Room was beautiful and very comfortable. Within walking distance to the beach (which is why we chose this resort) and as a bonus, had a pool / lazy River / Kid Splash Zone which the family took full advantage of.
We were surprised to learn of a Falcon 9 launch upon check in and was able to go to the beach to see it launch - what an unforgettable memory!
Overall, it was an extremely pleasant stay!

This place is great for kids. However, I don’t really know what exactly was going on while we were there. Large groups of loud people seemed to be having parties and cooking large amounts of food on grills in the pool area. Seems this place can’t decide if it wants to be a nice resort or a party destination- unfortunately it’s difficulty to have the best of both worlds. There were also no windows in the bed rooms, just boards over where the windows should be. Very odd. They also do not have cribs, only pack and plays for baby. The beach was very nice and quiet.

We booked this hotel strictly because the room description stated "laundry in suite", we paid $550 CAD/night and thought it was worth it if we could get some laundry done during our stay as we were on the tail end of our 10-day vacation. When we checked into the resort we quickly realized that there was no laundry in the room, I called to the front desk to inquire..I was told that the laundry was shared. I called hotels.com to try and cancel my stay as I was obviously disappointed, I was told that I wouldn't receive a refund because I had already checked in. This was an absolute error on hotels.com/the resort's end and no one tried to make this right.
On top of that, our room smelt like mould and we noticed a wet patch on the ceiling that was about to pour water at any second.
The resort was very kid friendly and we had a great stay overall but the initial items kind of put a damper on things.

I typically do not leave reviews, but I would like to warn others who might be considering this property.
1) They only gave us 1 parking pass when we arrived. They suggested several places to park our other vehicle, but all of those indicated no overnight parking. We went back to the hotel and a man (we assume was the manager on duty) basically tells us it isn't his problem. We finally found a solution ourselves for that night and they gave us another parking pass the next day. We spent 3 hours of our vacation dealing with this.
2) Just because you have an elevator somewhere on the premises, does not mean that your rooms are accessible by elevator. We had to carry luggage up flights of stairs the first night, but they did move us to the bottom floor the next night.
3) This property advertises that it is beach front. There is one building that is beach front, but it is being renovated right now. The only buildings with available rooms are across a dead end street.
4) Water park and lazy river close at 8:00, which makes the pool area very crowded.
5) We paid cash for beach chairs every day and then the front desk tried to charge us again at checkout. They did take it off, but you need to watch your bill.
6) You can hear almost everything in the rooms around you.
7) Don't bother paying the extra money for better rooms. They will still put you on the end facing the street, far away from the beach.
On a positive note, the rooms were clean and many staff members were nice.

The parking was terrible no room to get in or out. The beds were hard as a rock and the pillows go flat. I asked for four pillows and was told I could only have two. The room was supposed to sleep 6 and they would only let one car park there. They had a bar by the pool for drinks and food but only one girl working. I was in line for 35 minutes for one drink. Also kids running all over the place jumping in lazy river and in hot tub no parents watching them. You couldn’t get in the pool because they close the lazy river at 8:00 so everyone going to the pool at that time.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Our room was beautiful and spacious and had everything we needed! The pools, lazy river, and splash pad were awesome- my kids loved it all. We also loved that we were so close to the beach and that we had private beach access. We absolutely will be returning!

What a great experience staying at Westgate. Staff goes above and beyond with kindness and helpfulness. So many kid friendly amenities and the suite we stayed in was immaculate. We are not owners and this was our first time staying at a Westgate resort. The only anxiety I felt was when we first checked in. It was after a 10 hour drive with two little ones and I was very tired. The front desk clerk was kind and prompt with check in, however I felt very attacked by “timeshare” concierge afterwards when trying to push me to attend an hour long presentation on what Westgate has to offer in becoming an owner. I would recommend checking to see how long someone was staying in the future( we were staying six days) and realize by someone’s attire and tired appearance that that was not an opportune time to present that offer. Overall it was a great vacation and wonderful place to experience. I would definitely recommend Westgate in the future and have already done so.

This property exceeded our expectations. The location is perfectly situated by restaurants and shopping, but if you don't want to leave the resort, the resort itself has everything you need. The gift shop and market is stocked and reasonably priced. The tiki grill has great food and there was never a time when we were bored. The lazy river, warm welcoming pool and the beach filled our days with entertainment. Service is top notch.

The property from the outside looks great, but in the units themselves there are cheap upgrades as the toilet roll holder fell off the wall while we were staying there, but the size of the units is great. The pool area was nice and the food that was available at the bar was good, a bit expensive, but doable. The thing that was annoying is the constant pushy sales people. We literally got bombarded everywhere about if we "took the tour" from people that work for Westgate and I don't mean just at the property but on the walk to the pier and on the pier. Very annoying!! Will I stay at another Westgate, probably not just for that reason alone. We stayed at another property earlier in our trip that also has timeshares and we weren't approached once about taking any sort of tour or buying into the property. Very different cultures.
On that note, everyone other than the sales pushers, were very nice and accommodating.

We loved our stay at Westgate Cocoa Beach. Everyone was incredibly friendly, probably more friendly than any other place I have stayed. Our group consisted of me, my husband, my newly 21-year-old daughter, my 14-year-old son, my 3.5-year-old son, and my 20-month-old twin girls. We rented 2 adjoining condos. It was absolutely perfect for our needs. The staff went above and beyond to provide for us. They even let a nanny i hired and a friend of mine and his kids come for the day. We ordered Instacart before we checked in, and the hotel had it in our room before we got there. I also rented baby equipment from BabyQuip and they allowed the person I rented from to put the stuff in our room before we got there. Everything was amazing and we would totally do this again.

Check In time was given as 4.00 pm.
When we reached property, we were told our 2 bedroon suite is not ready and we will get a text message. i had a senior and a 5 year old along with 3 adults in our party.
We received a text message at 6.25 pm that our room is ready, imagine how we would have waited after a long travel with a senior and young kid for over so long just to get in the room and stretch our legs. We waited in lobby, rested in car, walked a bit around. We couldnt go anywhere to eat thinking room would be available any time during the wait. I approached lobby 3-4 time during our 3 hour wait, only to hear back, room is not ready yet.

This is not a beachside property. The outside of the building does not reflect the inside. We were worried when we saw the place from the street once inside gated area pleasantly surprised. We would come back maybe off season as it was a little pricey. All in all everybody had a great time. walkable to many places and shuttle was great.

We spent a long weekend at Westgate Cocoa Beach with our three young children (8,6, and 1.5 years old). The suites were perfect for us! It was so nice having separate bedrooms and bathrooms. The resort provided a pack and play for the toddler to sleep in. The kitchen was great for easy breakfasts and lunches. It was so clean and the staff was so friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!

We loved our trip, great facilities for families, loved the activities for the kids, enjoyed our time poolside, although it was tough to get a chair as people "reserved them with their stuff" early in the morning, room was spacious and clean. Access to the beach was a breeze. I found the bed a bit uncomfortable, the mattress has a big dip on my side that hurt my back. Also wished the umbrella and beach chairs were included in the room. It was an extra charge. Our family did love our vacation, met lots of very nice people, we would definetely return.

I felt welcomed at check in. The communication was great. We had loud visitors outside of my children’s room the first night there around midnight blasting their music, smoking, drinking in a car (adults) after 45 min of this I messaged the front desk, they notified security who did speak with these adults within 5 min and the situation improved. The room is great, we’re a family with food allergies so being able to make our own meals was great. The dishwasher wasn’t great and rarely resulted in cleaned dishes (this could be improved). The twin beds were nice but very high, too high for our 3yo to sleep in, great for our 10yo. Main pool was heated and warm, lazy River was cold and so was the splash pad, only able to enjoy one day in those as the temperature wasn’t warm enough to enjoy the other days with not being heated. They asked us about participating in a 90min presentation to buy in to west gate (become owners) we did not attend and were only asked once about attending again. We were not harassed about this throughout our stay which was nice. Close walk to the beach 3-5 min. Location is walking distance to so many things! Overall this was an excellent stay. Would stay again and recommend to others.

We loved this resort. It was perfect for our family. It was so convenient to bounce back and forth from room to pool or beach. There is not much for food options at this resort but there are nearby restaurants and grocery stores. The room was stunning, clean, and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and accommodating.

We had no hot water for 3 days. Called twice for maintenance and they could not fix it. Parking is terrible and no spots available and we had to park across the street. Front desk is not helpful. Manager was supposed to be notified of our water issue however I was never contacted by management. We will never stay there again and will never recommend anyone staying there.

Overall we loved our stay. The rooms are large, updated, and clean. Our kids loved having a tv in every room with a great selection of channels, especially for young kids. The beautiful beach is an easy walk away. It’s a calm, family friendly beach with the best sunrises! And if the weather is warm enough, the pools are great. While they were supposed to be heated, the lazy river was always cold and the splash pad was only warm one of the days of our stay. The main pools were closed for resurfacing during our stay. We would visit again during warmer months but maybe not off season again.

The property is conveniently located next to the beach. For a family if 5 with 2 adults and 3 children 2 of them needing a crib staying in the 2 bedroom was not enough space. Its nice that the resort provides a pack and play but there is not space to put them in the bedroom. Beds are high so its not safe for children. The staff is very nice and helpful which is the only pro I found. The splash pad and lazy river are supposed to be heated and was told by the front desk that they are. However this was not the case at all. Water was freezing cold and no one used the splash pad. This caused more guest to stay by the jacuzzi and pool. Right at check-in we were approached by a member of the resort to sit in on a 90 presentation of the property. We decided to go to the presentation, however we left towards the end because our host had to tend to an owner's needs so that left us waiting.

The hotel was very nice and my grandson enjoyed the water park and pool. They said the water was heated but the water park water was cold luckily my grandson had a wet suit. The pool water was heated. The rooms are spacious and clean. There was no luggage cart so I had to make several trips to my bloat my car. The walls are a little thin as I could hear a baby crying in the next room but we had a nice stay.

Westgate at Cocobeach is the prefect place for a get-away with children. My daughters did not want to leave the swimming pool, splash pad and lazy river. It's loud all day, music and children playing, so not come here thinking that is going to be a place to relax, there's just too much going on, but in a good way. The rooms were clean, confiable, and the kitchen was well stocked.
