My first room smelled terribly of mildew or something. I found the source was concentrated on one of the beds sheets. The heater when it came on would screech. I went and was told to turn the heater off and turn it on again and she couldn’t tell me that that would resolve it permanently. She also said she could give me new sheets. They did not apologize or offer me a different room. When asked they did move me. When they moved me the second room did not have a smell but both beds squeeked anytime you moved and I noticed the next day that the remote was filthy with what I assume was food.

The room was clean which is key for me and at a reasonable cost! The bed is a little hard for my taste but the pillows are great. Great water pressure and lots of hot water. Breakfast had plenty of choices and the staff kept all items well stocked. I took a star off because the tv service is not great. Not HD and no program guide. I’ve stayed here before and will again.

It’s OK if you really want just beer bones no frills you ask when you want your room to be cleaned and just a place to sleep it’s fine. The beds are comfortable but definitely no frills. Reasonable priced.

My husband and I did a quick trip to Naperville for my bday and reserved a whirlpool suite. The room was clean and the tub worked fine. The hotel lobby and all areas we saw were clean and in good shape. Staff was all friendly and the breakfast wa ls surprisingly good for a free breakfast. Chicken sausage patties, scrambled eggs, potatoes, biscuits and gravy as well the usual items.

Booked a Jacuzzi room and the seal on the door was not there so light and cold air was coming thru all night long. The Jacuzzi did not work so that was a bummer, toilet leaked and had condensation on the toilet and there was water on the ground.

This property was deplorable , the room was gross with dry blood on the mattress and stained, black stuff coming from out the drain the sink, sink did not drain, toilet ran continuously and did not flush.

I really liked the jacuzzi inside of the room, made it more personal. & the carpet tiles in the rooms were clean. The only problem was when I hit my ankle bone on the rail sticking from under the bed in the Presidential suit. But other than that everything was perfect!!! Me & my husband will definitely be back real soon.

The manager, Joy, allowed my wife and I to check in a couple hours early and waived a fee. That was vey nice of her and we appreciated the good will. My wife thought the room had a lingering smell of smoke even though it was a non smoking room so we opened the window to air it out. Overall a good experience though.

The room wasnt the cleanest. There were a lot of broken things in the room. It was way overpriced for the jacuzzi tub, which was not in the best condition. It was close to a lot, but entering and exiting was inconvenient.

Can do better....
Ive stayed here a few times before but since the management changed it doesn't seem as "kept up." Nothing major just noticeable. I arrived a few minutes before 3 (check in as at 3) & was told the room wouldn't be ready for 40 minutes, meaning I wouldn't have access to the room until about 3:30! Normally it wouldn't be a big deal however my husband & I that came from work needed to get ready for our anniversary dinner reservations thad were at 4! Luckily the restaurant was 5mins away, but still annoying! The person working at the front desk was nice enough to call the cleaning staff & I was able to check in around 3:15 & in the room by 3:20. Not a huge big deal, but certainly nuisance.
Staying here before I always brought my roku & was able to use it, this time they had the tv settings so I could not connect to either HDMI port.
When using the jacuzzi the drain did not stay closed so it slowly drained while using & we were constantly having to add water. Also they put some sort of pliable back splash that was coming off OVER the tile. Nothing major but definitely an eye sore.
There was a rip in the sheet and spots where the carpet was coming up. Again nothing major but for $200 a night I would have expected all of this stuff to be taken care of and double checked routinely.
The breakfast options were great and very tasty! Again nothing major, but for the price I would expect these minor things to be kept up with as well as be able to check in when Im supposed to.

it's a Best Western. A good Best Western. The property is older, but newly refurbished. Everything was new and in good order.
The staff was friendly and helpful.
The only downside was that it was in a funny location, a little hard to navigate.
We would defenitely choose this hotel again.

We've stayed at this Best Western several times. This stay was the first time we ended up in a first floor room with an exterior entry door. The room wasn't as nice as previous visits. The sheets seemed inferior by comparison, and the tub/shower was simply dangerous. There were no grab bars inside the shower or to hold onto getting out of the shower. I'm glad my husband didn't take a shower because he really would have needed them. Didn't ask for a handicap room, but probably should have.

The hotel staff was amazing but that was it. The air conditioning did not cool off enough and I had a terrible time sleeping in the heat and, the hotel stunk like urine.. or they shampooed the carpet and never dried it out which also affected my sleep and comfort. The bathroom was not the cleanest either.

This hotel doesn't try to be anything special. It's a good, basic place to stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with basic amenities. There is a surprisingly nice breakfast, available at 6 am. My only complaint was that the TV in the room was analog, with no channel guide or way to enter specific channels.

Best staff and overall value!
The staff is amazing! They are friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Everyone that works here goes out of their way to make your stay exceptional. You will not find a better hot breakfast included anywhere at this price point. The rooms and linens are clean and although the rooms were not renovated last week, they are well maintained and everything is in good working condition. Stacked against its competitors, you will not find a better value. Everyone takes pride in their work, and it shows. From the intial presentation of the room, the linens, the fuctionality of the of the faucets, toilets, lamps, furniture and layout, all well done. The coffee bar is always fresh, well stocked and ready 24/7. It would be helpful if the coffee bar had coffee napkins. I am a bit clumsy and always seem to spill a drop or two of creamer. It would be nice to have an easy way to clean up after myself, because I don't like to leave it messy for the next person, and currently I have to go across the hall and grab a paper towel out of the bathroom. Why? If you could take hard boiled egg out of rotation and mix in another option? poached? Would work well if ham was mixed in on that day possibly? Sausage patties and sausage links are the same. Pick one and take the other out of rotation. A second waffle option like blueberry maybe? And whipped cream versus topping would increase my satisfaction 10 fold. I am not alone when i say another even $5 is worth bacon alone, all day long. FACT!

We chose a room with a spa tub inside and were slightly nervous about the cleanliness of it. We absolutely loved it!! Very very clean and functional. Would absolutely choose a room with one in the future. Thank you!!

Low quality build and repairs.
Paint and caulking in bathroom, poor ceiling leak repair, very hard mattresses, and no insulation in interior walls two I could hear people walking and talking in hallways, and easily hear conversations and television in closest rooms while trying to sleep.

housekeeping answered "no english" when we asked for anything. room was cleaned once in ten days. had to take towels, tp and tissue from cleaning cart because no one supplied them in our room. hallways vacuumed once in ten days by cleaning staff from another floor. toilet in bath was short and i'm only 5 foot tall. sink faucet was loose. toilet stopped up. will never stay there again.

Have stayed here a number of times but this hotel is in need of better managment and an update. Stayed 2 days. Arrived and were sent to a room that was not ready. Returned to our room later after it had been cleaned. Thin walls made it impossible to sleep as young children of large family next door were yelling until 1:30 AM. The maid service NEVER came to service our room the 2nd day.. With a few improvements im sure this place could return to what it once was.

Best western is always on my list when I travel or have business trip. I have stayed in best western in different cities, but this will be my last time to stay. It was terrible experience. The room we entered first was not cleaned well and lots of pets hairs on the bedding. I called front desk and was told all room are sold out so they will ask housekeeping personnel to come. Later I got a phone call that no housekeeping on site, so they happed to have an “available” room for us to switch to. When we entered the second room, it smells horrible. It’s stinky and tiny fly bugs everywhere. The windows are open and AC is off. The flies and bugs were all around our heads in the bathroom also in the sleeping area as long as there is light. It was super annoying. The AC was old and loud. Around 2pm, we were wake up by loud talking in hallway and people stayed next door. After it lasted half hour, I called front desk to ask for help. No body showed up to help. I called again and nothing happened even though the front desk lady promised to come to take a look. It was until 3am, it finally became quiet but I would never fall asleep! It’s such a bad experience to stay here and I will never ever consider it again!!

Service and cleanliness was great. Bath towels were thin and scratchy. The breakfast buffet was so-so. The bed was comfortable but I am not a fan of the smaller square bed pillows unfortunately a lot of hotels are using them recently.

The staff at the front desk were great. The first thing we noticed when walking in the room was the musty smell. The housekeeping staff tried to enter our room twice while we were in there fairly early in the morning. The continental breakfast was not good and I felt like the staff kept pushing us out of the way to try to fill up the breakfast bar. The bed was lumpy and the pillows were very flat.

The property is old but refurbished. Our bathroom was small with a little over 6ft ceiling height. Original toilet, tub and tile. They basically put a granite counter top in the bathroom that had limited space. Towels were stained and after requesting new ones, the new ones were stained as well.
Hotel has one elevator for three floors that has lots of rooms. I've eaten many of breakfasts at hotels and this was a 1 out of 10. Limited selection and the food wasn't good.
Lastly, the hotel was harboring Illegal Aliens. They had people from all over the globe in the hotel. I know this because the bus pulled up on the second day and took them all away. A big safety concern!
Lastly, after day one, I contacted Expedia to get me out, they contacted the Management team who told them no, because I had prepaid for the room, 3 days total.
This hotel is over rated and you should look at other options in the area which are much nicer and safer/cleaner. I chose this because of it's rating but was severely disappointed after I checked in. The old saying is true "you get what you pay for." I would suggest you find another hotel.

The staff was friendly and our room was clean. Smaller than what I would have expected from the price we paid for it. The breakfast had very little choices. It is definitely an older facility so if you are looking for a more modern place I would not recommend this.

Do not stay here! I can’t believe that they are allowed to pretend to run a hotel. It smelled like a dirty ash tray and was dirty. The shower ceiling was stained and paint was chipping off. The pillows were so flat and lumpy that they barely qualified to be called pillows. The toilet was leaking all over the floor. Disgusting place!!!

We had to check out at 10:45 PM because the people on the second floor were so loud and the front desk person didn't want to be bothered to ask them to stop. We were there for our 24th wedding anniversary and it wasn't as planned. Never again.
