This is very much what you should expect from a Holiday Inn Express: comfortable rooms, a decent breakfast buffet, good housekeeping. Wireless Internet worked flawlessly for the most part. The only real complaint is the lack of in-establishment dining options within walking distance, but that's not the hotel's fault.

We really didn't spend alot of time at the hotel we were in late and put early. But whatever time we were there it was a good place overall. The staff people we're nice and accommodating. It could use a bit of upgrading as far as the restroom is concerned. Plenty of parking and the complimentary breakfast was good too.

Both tables in the room shown marks on top that someone put a drink and spilled. ( it wasnāt clean both tables)
The shower shows traces of āmucusā.
The door has a crack on the bottom that I could hear everything on the hallway.
Is a good location, but my experience was not as good as a night before that I stayed in a same hotel brand in a different city.

Nice clean hotel
Wonderful hot tub and pool. Room was clean, hotel was clean and looks new. It was very hectic when we were there but we didnāt hear anything while in our room. Firm beds.

It was an excellent choice for us, highly recommended. Room cleaning, breakfast everything were above our expectations. We requested a handicapped room which was also perfect plus went with a puppy whi also really enjoyed her stay. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The check in was quick . The staff was friendly. The breakfast was great and had a large variety. There was a small issue of some ants around the refrigerator in the room, otherwise room was wonderful.

Great new property right off i-75. Great hotel; wonderful staff. Hotel offered breakfast, but due to my fur baby I did not have a chance to sample.
The only drawback, there is construction going on very close to the property. Therefore during the day there was construction going on. Once that's complete, this hotel was be fantastic!

Wonderful hotel/staff/ location.
Major concern. The bkft. room has no " dog friendly" designated tables. Next to us was a dog setting in a chair eating w/ his people. . No one wiped the " dog butt" chair w/ a separate cleaning material. Where do people sit that have allergies/ fear/ or are not wanting " dog hair" as part of their breakfast ?? We spoke to the desk person, who didn't know the " dog friendly" dining area. This needs to be established , when you are " dog friendly". Dogs in dining areas are often required to be in carriers in other hotels.

This is a great hotel to stay at! I don't know if it's brand new but it certainly looks and feels like it. The staff was superb! Warm and friendly. Don't have enough good things to say about the place. I will certainly be back. Highly recommend it if you need a place to stay while in Ruskin.

Beautiful property, pool, outdoor lounge area, area to walk your dog, laundry room , gym , breakfast in the morning, the room was clean and fresh. Donāt know what else to say but, if you need to stay in a hotel in the Ruskin Fla. area this is the place. I give it 5 stars.

Highly recommend. A hidden gem in a quite area right off the I-75. The staff really made an impression on us right out the gate. Friendly and helpful from the front desk to the nice lady in housekeeping who saw to our room. So many genuine smiling faces. It smelled clean from the moment you walked inside. The whole area was well maintained inside and out and a well lit parking lot for night time. Our room had two comfortable queen beds with nice linens. The pillows were from heaven. The bathroom was spic and span clean and had wonderful plush towels. Great Dove products that smelled divine. Refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot already set up to start. Many cable television choices. Easy Internet connection. A very nice spacious room. The breakfast was wonderful. So many options both hot and cold. My husband didn't know were to start. So glad we selected Holidays Inn Express & Suites Ruskin. Thank you so much for the relaxing stay. We have family here so we'll be back.

Property overall was nice. My bathroom had a sticky floor and smelled like urine. I went down to ask for a mop and cleaner and attendant stated " I got this" so I went back and waited. Half hour later I went back down and finally was given mop and cleaner.

I loved the staff and the property. My company has used them before as a venue for meetings.
Only thing they need to review is their breakfast options. I understand they want to offer healthier options but I am not a fan of turkey sausage/bacon and egg whites as a regular option and that seems to be the norm.

Filthy rooms nasty customer service. Refused to check me out because my room was filthy and I declined another room. I booked the Marriott came back later that day to see if another front desk associate can help me and check me out. The lady from the previous shift had it where my reservation was not found even though I provided my confirmation number and the room number I was in. Iām Pretty sure it was notes left about the issue. But any who I have all the evidence to submit a claim through my bank for fraud. DONT BOOK HERE FILTHY ROOMS

I drove 3 hrs from Floridaās east coast to apollo Beach for an overnight trip. This after I had received two email confirmations previously about my reservation.
At 4pm (just after I arrived in town), the hotel called me to tell me āsorry, we are oversold. We have no room for youā. THIS ON MEMORIAL WEEKEND.
stated they had no sister property they could refer me to. They said āsorryā again, and wished me luck finding another hotel.
Why āoversellā the property? Why choose to cancel a customer who had prepaid a reservation a week earlier?

This was a beautiful hotel. Clean, rooms were big. We had a suite for 3 of us and had plenty of room. The front desk employees were very professional and pleasant. The breakfast was enough. I think even if offered aomething in the mornings makes people enjoy their stay. And they have really good coffee..All day long. We didnt get to go in the pool because it stormed every night we were there but it looked beautiful.

This was a perfect location for my stay. Out of the way, with a couple of small restaurants nearby. The Mexican place was pretty good! I really liked the customer service that Grace provided at the desk. She was great., The guy in the morning was a bit too happy to greet the day, but that was ok. Great stay!

I enjoyed the location of the hotel being in the back private. The rooms were clean, large, and comfortable. The selections of breakfast was really nice. We enjoyed the hot breakfast and the room was nice. They are doing construction behind the hotel which isnt great, especially when we had bad wind gusts that forced the dirt/sand onto us in the pool area. The back area was nice to sit in otherwise. Clean, well-kept, well distributed hotel, room very nice. Bugg bathroom and very clean. Comfortable beds felt very relaxed and rested. The hot breakfast was very good. Great breakfast! Rachel is a wonderful hostess, and the staff keep everything clean even at the busiest of times. Walls are a little thin, so you're likely to hear any neighbors who talk in a loud voice or young children. Not in an overly busy location, so less chaotic. Well placed in the Tampa area - not to far from the city and not too far from the busier beaches like Madeira and St. Pete's. I was visiting family nearby, so it was super-convenient.
