This hotel gouged me with a high rate when I got stuck overnight. But the hotel is in horrible condition. Holes in the carpet, rust all over the showers, scratches all over the place.

Very standard. Only wish there were more than the one room make up time in the morning. Breakfast was great. Lounge common area was great with ambient music. The room coffee was bad but there was coffee downstairs all the time.

Not worth the price
The rooms are not nice enough to justify that price point. The furniture is old and beat up and the bathroom was not clean enough (dirty corners where floor meets wall, chipped tiles). Very friendly staff.

The room I stayed in had a couch that was worn and torn. Carpet was horrible and the air conditioning was loud, old and noisy. There was trash overflowing in the can outside of the elevator. I will NOT stay at this location again. The only saving grace is the staff; they were friendly.

Great short term stay!
The service here is amazing! From the receptionists to the cleaning staff, everyone was wonderful! Breakfast was wonderful, there's plenty of great, fresh food. While there were plenty of updates to the hotel, like new furniture, flooring, and paint, there are some things they should have updated as well. The beds weren't the best quality or maybe just too old although my mom thought it wasn't too bad. The TV didn't have many good channels which wasn't too big of a deal, we didn't spend too much time awake in our room anyway and we all had phones. And we were a little disappointed that the rooms didn't have a mini fridge. The area is perfect- plenty of places to eat nearby and it's a quick trip into Chicago.

Our room did not have a fridge and microwave. I asked them to give us one so we can put our food and drinks. The staff said within 20 minutes upon our arrival which was 4 pm. They did not bring it up until 11 pm because of shift change. Otherwise, overall it was good

The carpet in the room was torn up and also had a damp feeling everywhere you walked. The room smelled odd the whole time and it wouldn’t go away no matter what we did. The shower curtain was gross and also too long so it took up space inside the bathtub. There were flies in the room. The bed was uncomfortable, the outlet by the sink was broken, and you had to hold the toilet handle down for it to flush all the way.

Feels like the owners are being cheap. We were only given 2 bath towels originally. When we asked for hand towels we were told they were drying (at 10pm?!). Also there are event venues on both sides of the property so can get loud.

I liked the cleanliness and staff. However, the top floor turned into a party until 4 AM when we had a tournament in the morning. (Stay on the bottom floor if you have an athletic competition) 😂😊

This hotel is good for a short stay but nothing more. If you need a place to sleep overnight it's decent enough. No fridge or microwave in the rooms. Ice machine only working on the 1st floor lobby. They don't have breakfast in the mornings as stated. Cleanliness could be better. Old, no upgrades.

There’s no breakfast, it’s just a grab n go type with few apples, cereal pack, muffins on a small table. Very disappointed without a good breakfast. We were staying in the second floor and there was noise from the top floor late night - we could hear people walking or jumping on the floor - poor insulation to cancel out such noises. Bathroom is kind of old style - We checked out from this facility without taking shower.

Below the expectation
Personal service was excellent but room's condition were very poor. It didn't have all the essential furniture, like fridge, microwave, etc. In addition the room had a bad smell.

The room reeked of stale cigarettes. People were yelling outside my window at 3 am, staff was powerless to stop them. Sheets were rough and scratchy. Avoid this place

I would not choose this hotel again :-(
When I made the reservation I notified the hotel directly that I would be arriving anywhere between two and three in the morning. After arriving via taxi from the airport at 2:45 AM, the man at the desk told me politely that he needed to check on the room because he wanted to make sure they had not given the room to someone else since I was late. I mentioned that I had notified the hotel ahead of time that I would be late and he said there was no note on the record. Luckily the room is still available, but their hotel is old and needs a lot of upgrades and things were not clean. I was exhausted so I just fell into bed and slept. The next morning when I checked out at 11:30, I was told that their breakfast was only serve till 930am Even on a Sunday morning., so I asked if they had any fruit and she brought me an incredibly lovely apple and a granola bar :-) that in itself is the nicest thing that happened to me during my stay :-) I would definitely not choose this hotel again when I’m in the area. Can you help me pick up the same

The staff was amazing. The front desk did everything they could do to make sure I was ok. But the hotel is ran down. The windows was filthy and the chairs in the room look like the should of been trashed years ago. Carpet was distinguishing and the water pressure horrible…. And they spent to much on refacing the hotel when you walk in. But the rooms are outdated

Very cheap linen and towels. Carpet old and coming up from floor. Coffee maker in the bathroom next to the toilet. Fridge on the floor. No safe in the room and the door didn't look too secure.

Disappointing
Bed was somewhat comfortable. There was no microwave or frig in the room. There were ants in the room.Not enough towels etc.,but they gave us more on request. Our reservation included breakfast, but there was none at this site. The staff was friendly. The room was rather cool and construction work was going on in the next room, the heat got turned off in error and had to be turned back on. Not the best for our 32nd Anniversary.

This hotel is awful!!!
Everything was
dirty and/or broken. So much to
mention. Elevator was broken, water
in room was turned off, chain on the
toilet tank was missing so you couldn't
flush the toilet, toilet was not bolted to floor, toilet paper holder was
broken so paper was just set on the
counter, there were yellow and brown
streaks all down the white walls, The
door lock was put on backwards so we
couldn't lock the door of the room. On
top of that when I asked for a receipt
for my room, I was told it against
policy to give guests receipts?! What?! Don’t think that’s legal.
Would not recommend. There are
plenty of other hotels closer to the
airport that also seemed to be in a
nicer area that I would use instead

When we got our room looked ok went to the bathroom the toilet did not flush no water at all in it the bolt lock an chain was completely broken off the door only one lock went down to look for the complementary breakfast as posted on the website and they did not have it all they had was bananas water the small ones and granola bars when to look for A part at the vending machines they had not one in the building very Disappointing for the price we paid

Great staff, i will be staying again
I really enjoyed my stay. I travel often. Even though this was not the standard I usually stay in, the new staff and owners were working tirelessly ti clean, replace, and upgrade. For only have the property for 2 weeks, they were making incredible progress. I live in Oregon but work in Chicago. I am.looking forward to seeing the improvements.
The staff was above and beyond what a normal hotel requires. They did everything possible to.make us comfortable.

Stay was alright at best with the exception of no microwave or iron in my room and limited refrigerators in rooms. Room was decent with the exception of the torn carpet that was duct taped together in my room. Staff were extremely nice.

Walked in and it was freezing off course the heat doesn’t work. Tried to call downstairs to front desk the phone doesn’t work. Went downstairs and tell her the heat isn’t coming on she told me it was a different heater, tried the other one and it didn’t even come on. The food I bought of course I see a roach crawl in my bag, had to throw the bag in a trash that wasn’t in the room. Me and my partner are laying sleep I feel something crawling on me … a ROACH. Nasty walls. Terrible experience. Wasted my earned Expedia points

The staff is so friendly , but i didn't like beacuse window curtains old ,also carpet looks old everithing else look olld tub looks durty . And was expecting to see a small refrigerator.
I came from 3 hours away. And like i said hotel its ok. For sure not coming back .

There was a dirty wash cloth hanging in the bathroom of our room. The lobby was okay but the elevator, hallways, and the room was dirty. Things should be spotless especially with Covid circling.

When you first pull up you realize that the hotel doesn’t maintain a clean appearance. The room was gently clean but with Covid we need it clean clean. Finger prints, dust and dirt everywhere. Plus there was such water damage in the ceiling, we prayed it didn’t rain. The pillows were horrible and they don’t give you a real blanket. That was the worst. They give you a blanket sheer and one sheet. I was soooo cold. Plus they have the coffee supplies and ice bucket in the bathroom. That’s disgusting. Haven’t they learned by now that toilet water when flushed spray a room. I personally won’t return. It’s worth it to pay a little more money and have a comfortable nights rest.

Empty shampoo bottle, no coffee, sugar or creamer. Just 2 towels and 1 hand towel. Room dirty, not vacuumed. I report to receptionist, and ask to fix that problem but I came back in the evening and nothing changed. Bought for us shampoo and coffee in CVS. Not nice at all

The proximity to midway airport was fantastic and the fact that they had onsite parking was very convenient.
The room was very dingy, the carpeting was torn up and the sheets and towels were like sandpaper.

I would rate this particular hotel at a -0. This is a motel and I was so disappointed because I've stayed at other Best Western hotels and they were no where near as bad as this hotel. This hotel needs to be gutted completely out and remodeled or they need to shut the hotel down.
