A great option if members of your party are interested in the National Park. Located only six minutes from the Sugarlands Visitor Center.
Hotel was clean and had several close dining options. The provided breakfast was adequate. Parking was somewhat limited for the number of guests at the hotel. Room door was finicky and had to be turned just right to get it to open. Toilet handle was also finicky and had to be held a long time for the toilet to flush. Otherwise, the room was pleasant and of good value.

The bottom of the jetted tub was chipped so we didn’t even use. The bathtub fixtures were in need of replacing & there was green around the drain. The towel rack had rust on it & the mirror above the sink is in the beginning stages of peeling. Very disappointed.

People smoke even though there are no smoking signs all over. Breakfast area is very small, no eggs for breakfast. The elevator could be renovated. My bed was not made up daily.

Worst Room I ever had anywhere
Upon opening the door i was hit with a terrible musty, industrial or somekind of terrible odor. It made me sick , after just one day of a 3 day stay, so i left after one night.
It had some kind of brown liquid in the bathtub, no clue what it was. It actually had a gas fire place, but it didn't work so i guess you are just supposed to look at it and get the impression that it works. It was on the ground floor , about 5 feet from the street, so you hear street noise all night long. I am assuming they give the Hotels.com guests the worst rooms or something, I will never go back to this place, and also those hotel remote controls for the TV are just awful, seems every hotel in Gatlinburg has them now, you have to go sequentially through each channel to get to the channel you want, because there appears to be no way to add a dash to the number you punch in as all the channels are digital , and the remote defaults to an analog channel.

We were greeted with a horrendous odor as soon as we opened the door. Everything smelled wet and moldy. The fireplace wasn't functional and the toilet didn't flush. We immediately left and found another hotel. The staff was excellent to deal with. He immediately reversed our charges. It appeared as though this was common for him to deal with.

Floors were dirty, jacuzzi tub didnt work, room smelled of gas and water pressure left bruises from being so hard. Only good part about the room was the location, and got to see a LOT of bear activity. The owners of this hotel need to do some major revamping and hire more or better house keepers that actually clean the rooms between stays. Very disappointing for a Wyndam owned property.

We booked this because it slept 5 and had an indoor pool. The pool was out of service the entire stay. The 5 of us where supposed to share 1 queen and 1 king bed. We were 1 couple, two adult sisters and 1 of their adult sons . They had no couches or roll away cots. So 1 of our party had to bunk on the floor.

Rented this suite with the jetted tub, tub didn't work only option for different room was a downgrade wasn't giving a discount was told I would receive a call from the manager which I never did and also holes in the walls, I honestly didn't have high expectations for the property but for the price I at least expected the bare minimum which I didn't receive. Both of the front desk attendee were very nice and tried to help me out but to no suprise no reply from management.

You need to upgrade bathroom floors. The fireplace never did work. Very few and very dim lights in room. The shower water was luke warm. Sorry about review, but being honest.

This property is absolutely disgusting. Our view was of a debilitated pool 1/2 full of green slimy water, trash floating, broken chairs, ect. It was the only window and the only view. The room itself was satisfactory as far as cleanliness. The fireplace didn't work, the hot tub leaked water, room smelt musty, the extra lock for the door was loose and was about to fall off-not secure. The grounds were filthy, the outside maintenance was awful. I would not recommend. We shortened our stay and stayed at a much nicer place in Pigeon Forge for $50 cheaper a night. Don't stay here. You work too hard for your money to use it on this place.

Fall in the mountains
The front desk staff was very friendly & helpful. We has a small tv issue but the maintenance man was there quickly, friendly & repaired the issue quickly. We had a much better stay than the last time. We would stay there again.

Hotel is nice but do not expect a heated pool. I called and they confirmed they pool would be heated but when I arrived it was not and they said the owners did not want to turn the heater on yet. Water was ice cold

It was going good until someone non handicapped parked in the handicap spot in front of our room 132, we had to take my 96 yr old mother around the building and over the step for the sidewalk to get to our room. We complained twice and nothing was done. I was highly disappointed in Days Inn for not taking the matter seriously, if there had been a medical emergency than it would have wasted precious minutes for everyone to have to go around. So we will not be staying at this particular Days Inn again when we come back next summer.

For a 2 or 3 star hotel, this one was really nice!! The room was very clean and tidy when we checked in, the staff was very friendly and super helpful, the location is so convenient being at the park end of the strip and minutes away from tons of restaurants and shops. The jacuzzi tub was really nice except for the jets didn’t have the best pressure, the bed was comfortable, the a/c worked great… the only negatives I can really comment on are in the mornings there wasn’t enough hot water (at night it was great) and the room was kind of poorly lit. One overhead light and two bedside lamps.
As long as you’re not expecting the Hilton out of this place I think you’ll be very pleasantly surprised!

Nice overnight stop
We came with friends and found this hotel on the day of the stay. It was centrally located, clean, and surprisingly quite quiet considering we were in the middle of town. The hotel is older but was very clean.

Spacious bedroom
Room was clean with enough space for my family. With 3 beds option everyone had enough room to sleep comfortably. The rooms was quiet and relaxing.

The staff members at checkin were really nice and helpful with instructions and information. The hotel was old and unattractive and it looked like it needed some serious updates and repairs. The room and bathroom were clean.

While it’s convenient to attractions and the staff is helpful the property conditions and cleanliness are terrible. The first room we had we had to get new bed linens as the mattress cover was soiled.
The room smelled of mold and cigarettes and the next morning we found a dirty towel looked like it was puked on in the corner luggage rack near the door and the tub had sufficient mold in the cracks and caulking. The toilet also leaked on the floor. The front desk gave us a new room which was better the next morning but even that the tub was stained and the tub fixtures were rusted and the toilet tank would refill every hour due to a slow leak. Outside property conditions are not much better as the outside pool which is out of service is full of dirty water and deteriorating conditions. There is an inside pool but I did not look at that.
I would not stay here again.

This property needs an up grade. Cigarette butts all over. We had to ask for face cloths, soap and shampoo every night when we got back to our hotel. This should be stocked every time you clean! And, the sheets were changed only once, and we were there for 5 days!

We booked this for 2 adults and 3 children. The description clearly stated that it sleeps 5. Since the name is Days Inn and Suites we expected a sofa in the room to accommodate the 5th person. There were only two beds, no sofa and no cot available. We had to request extra bedding for one to sleep on the floor. If they want to allow an extra person in the room, that’s great, but don’t list it as “sleeps 5”.

We liked the proximity to attractions and the staff was accommodating.
We didn’t like that it was way over due for renovations. For instance, our room door would stick and was very difficult to open, the ceiling in the bathroom had damage that needs to be repaired. The room didn’t smell clean.

Worse hotel we’ve ever stayed in!
Employee smoking by entrance, employees taking to friends and blocking entrance, room had mildew or mold on shower ceiling, trim was missing in bathroom exposing holes . Towels were stained and vary thin. Parking was awful, after an evening out , we had to park on the street. Excuse from employees was , well we are full.

Great hotel experience

This place should be condemned and bull dozed. It’s absolutely horrible. We tried to look past the rough exterior, but the interior is even worse. Everything is falling apart and crumbling. Staff was friendly. Room was clean, we thought, until checkout morning when we saw roaches in the bathroom. Will never set foot at this place again.

The room had a moldy smell, not all lights/usb ports worked on the room, prior repairs in room were obvious (caulking that had dried with drips, patches in wall not painted over, bathroom door not lined up properly). Stayed during rain which completely floods the pool level and the overflow film gutters floods the walking paths. All the ac units leak into the walking path, causing it to be slippery. Obvious need to repairs and improvements but if you just need to place to sleep, it's decent. Free daily breakfast if bagels, cereal, yogurt, bagels, sausage sandwiches, oatmeal and juices. AVOID THE ELEVATOR! The smell makes you want to pass out!

Friendly staff and walkable but it is about a 20 minute walk to the Gatlinburg strip. Pool is cold and breakfast is free but is basically grab and go things nothing prepared and hot. There is a general store, wine shop and liquor store as well as a gas station directly behinf the hotel.
Bathrooms are very small and the AC units are hit and miss on how cold the room gets. One of our rooms was freesing the other was just cold enough that we werent dying.

While our room had been recently updated with new features, mostly paint and some furniture, our toilet was coming apart from the floor. After the first shower we learned why. The shower curtain didn’t fit the shower so there was water flooding the bathroom. The staff was really nice and always greeted us.

Request for connecting rooms was ignored. The room was not very clean. The bathroom fan makes a very LOUD buzzing noise and you can't turn on the bathroom light without the fan, so every shower or bathroom trip was accompanied by a loud racket that disturbed everyone. We requested that they fix it the next day and they did not.

Was just a one night stay to be close to strip. Directly on main strip and the staff has always been friendly when staying here. Unit was clean but like most of the older establishments on main strip some updates are needed. Nothing that prevents you from enjoying your stay. Ac worked and ran smoothly, I’m a light sleeper so this is normally a big deal when they are loud at night.

The staff is excellent and understanding, but the room was terrible.
We got a suite, and were impressed by the online pictures. Reality was far from our hopes though.
First, the suite was small. The bathroom, smaller. My husband’s shoulders practically touched either side of the bathroom. The whole suite smelled like bleach. The tub’s finish was wearing off on the bottom. The door to the room was smeared with something dirty.
Second, we always check the beds for bugs, and yup, found one.
The staff was great and gave us a different suite. Same exact layout. This room smelled like mildew. The tub had a vent grate hanging off the side. A cigarette burn in the sheets.
We went to the front desk and they offered to refund our weekend if we wanted another hotel. We said yes and grabbed a suite at a nearby hotel for a comparable price.
Once again, I want to thank the staff for their understanding and patience.
The hotel needs a renovation badly. I hope whoever owns it puts some money into fixing it and paying the staff more — they deserve it.

First of all, we didn’t lose anything. But after room clean the cleaner not closing both front and back door. Our bags and luggages are all in the room for whole day. Also, the first floor has been cleaned but not second floor. Otherwise, it’s ok.

Excellent staff and very helpful. Bathroom fan sounded like an airplane taking off. I couldn’t leave it on more than 1 min. Noise from room AC/ heat was too loud to leave on thru night. Staff had it checked twice. Couldn’t be changed. Bad noise.

Toilet wasn’t attached to the floor and leaked all over the room. Toilet paper holder was bolted to the wall with a piece of wood. Room smelled moldy. Pool was closed. In the parking lot someone left takeout containers on our hood and keyed the entire side of our car. The town was touristy and loud. But staff was pleasant to deal with and the national park was beautiful.

This days inn, on the west side of Gatlinburg (the side like you're going up towards Newfound Gap / Clingmans Dome) (when busy bring the Gatlinburg bypass up to avoid the traffic) is an older building, but it's very clean, bed is comfy, it's right on the strip which makes walking convenience & excellent. You can smoke out on the balcony. They have self serve breakfast, with a coffee machine 24/7. There is an indoor pool behind the lobby / breakfast area. The ONLY downfall is if you stay in one of the front rooms along the street, you hear all the noise from vehicles & motorcycles reving their engines. If you set out from 1115pm onwards on the balcony you will see random bears coming across the street looking for food. And they are decently priced. I would definitely stay again, but not in one of the front street rooms.

The beds were harder than bricks. Roaches in bathroom. Cold in shower meant hot and hot meant cold. Pool was not heated. Breakfast was cereal bars and muffins… I was expecting hot breakfast. Had booked for 4 adults only had 3 towels had to go get them from desk they wouldn’t even bring to room. The room had stairs in it that were not in the description no tv available in that area.

Exhaust fan in bathroom not working or missing. Non smoking but ashtrays outside every room. Room smelled of smoke, if you smoke outside the air comes in through ac/heating unit. Door key worked 2 times then lock quick working-would recognize card (green light) but lock would not activate. Was offered a different room but stayed in room until check out due to difficulty of moving again at lateness of night.

The room had little to no lighting, only a couple of the outlets worked. This made it hard for 4 people to charge cellphones. The sink and toilet were so close together it was uncomfortable to use. The shower head was also not completely attached to the wall. It was also not the room we had originally requested. We requested a double queen room, it was confirmed when we booked the hotel. When we arrived to the room it was a lofted room with one queen bed a two full beds. It was hard for the adults to get up and down the stair case as well.We as a family expected a lot better accommodations from Days Inn &Suites

The main reason I booked this specific location was because it was in the middle of all the attractions and it had an indoor pool. Upon arriving, the pool was closed. Once we walked into the room, the air conditioning vent cover was off in the floor. We had NO hot water at all. The front desk clerk said it may be bc people in other rooms were taking showers at the same time 😔 No one came to change the linens or give us towels or toiletries the entire stay. The best part about being in Days Inn was that we were in walking distance to everything and the breakfast upfront every morning was very satisfying for me and my family.

Nice Hotel for 1 night get away
Check in was fast however the room was hard to find due to construction. The room did not have a bathtub only. a shower. There was no view even though it was a corner room. It was close to downtown within walking distance to many attractions.

The property is very dirty and rooms smell really bad. The outside hallway eas dirty.When I book it said it has a sofa and can acomodate 5 people. There was no sofa in room . Breakfast was ok with a variation. Front desk staff very nice and helpful. I would not recommend this hotel. Too expensive for what we got.

I thank the customer service at the desk for their #1 customer service. They added a room to accommodate us and we are grateful. Rooms are ok as far as cleanliness, but the lobby and bathrooms in lobby need some work.. dirty.

The hotel is very old and in need of repair. Tiles in elevator are cracked and loose. However our room was very nice! Clean, comfy beds and the kids loved the loft. We would stay here again.

Room was infested with roaches. They had been there so long they had hallowed out the bathroom door and trim around the room. Very disgusting place. We canceled our 2nd night and drive two hours.
We were refunded our stay as the on sight manager didn’t even dispute the infestation.
The motel is a hard pass for our family.

Good hotel for just sleeping
We stayed Monday to Friday. Housekeeping left 1 container shampoo and 2 packts coffee for 2 ppl the whole week.
Coffee machine didnt work for breakfast for 2 of those days.

What a dump!
