Good choice hotel.
Excellent hotel for stays traveling along I95.
Clean, comfortable and good breakfast.
Only complaint is the excessive $50 pet fee.

We were at the Comfort Inn in Florence the 20th which was ok, but a step down from the one in Newark the night before.
The desk receptionist was as short in answers as could be, didn’t even look at you. The room was clean. As always the beds were comfortable. And I give a 5/5 for the breakfast attendant, she really deserves it.

The front desk was absolutely amazing, very courteous, kind, funny and accommodating. The only issue we had were thin walls you can hear people you can hear people in the hallway and multiple rooms. Alarms went off at 5:30 AM. You can hear it all over so I’m assuming a housekeeper set them or somebody set them all up and there was one going off next to us in a room where I guess there was nobody so it went off for a long period of time at 5:30 in the morning other than that very clean. Food was a little less desirable in the morning.

One of the nicer hotels ive stayed at comfort wise. Expensive when traveling with animals though. 35 a dog. Usually hotels charge 15 to 20.

Change rooms due to loud heater unit
Not good. We had to change our room as the heater started making a terribly loud noise. The front desk agent did his best to accommodate us. I was given another room which I refused as the heater was making a loud ticking sound. The third room we got was ok, but it was very inconvenient to change rooms after being settled in. I would not recommend nor stay at this hotel again.

Due to horrendous weather we were unable to get to this hotel. Even though it was way after the check in time and a non refundable room Comfort Inn credited our account through Travelocity-negotiated by Travelocity Customer Service. Superb customer service by both Travelocity and Comfort Inn!!

We find the location just off 95 convenient when traveling through. Location was quiet and allowed for restful sleep. Breakfast included was fine and got us back on the road in a timely fashion.

Arrived late for a one night stay. Front desk made it an easy arrival. King room clean and very nice and comfortable. Free breakfast was a bonus and good for a light bite to eat. Would stay again!

It was a heavily perfumed to cover up other odors. Party central went on until 4:50 am. Called the front desk several times but it did not resolve the issue.

This Comfort Inn was extremely clean, the beds were comfortable, and all the staff that we encountered were super friendly and welcoming. Many choices were available at the free breakfast including waffles, eggs, and sausage. We will definitely stay here again when in the area.

The property was very nice. I enjoyed the breakfast. It had eggs, sausage, oatmeal, different breads and waffles, among other things. It was filling and I appreciated the staff. The front desk was very helpful in letting me know about the availability of transportation to the airport. The only item that might need work is that housekeeping tried to barge in my room while I was still there to clean. They didn't knock before they used their key to try to get in. Thankfully I had the deadbolt on and the security lock in place or they would have gotten a surprise. They should really knock first. Also, I asked them at that time to come back in 30 minutes since I was still in the room. When I got back later that evening, the room hadn't been cleaned. So I guess you snooze you lose. But otherwise, it was a great stay.

After a long drive it was great to have Lamont checking us in as soon as I walked through the entrance. He had all the forms ready and it only took about two minutes!
The facility is modern and we enjoyed the included breakfast. Coffee was tasty too. All employees we encountered were friendly too!

We ask for a quiet room. Put us next to ice machine and elevator. Coffee machine did not work. Shower had little pressure. Water would not go out. Should have stayed in a $80 hotel.

We had a quick one night stay. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The room was clean - in fact, we think maybe the carpets had just been cleaned. Traveling with an 8 month old, safety was my biggest concern so we didn't book the room until we were sitting in the parking lot. This hotel was definitely safe, clean and convenient to the highway.

Only one person working who had to service room requests as well as the front desk. Room we were assigned first smelled like cigarette smoke - 2nd room was fine but no tissues. Had to go back down to desk and wait until clerk on duty got back. Clerk was unaware of dog run in back of the property and instructed me to use any grassy area, which meant using the landscapes beds. Such a shame.

Do NOT be in the first floor by the exit door! Every time someone comes in or out the whole room rattles! Horrible room and smelled like urine. Front desk doesn’t care, the response was “I wasn’t working when you checked in!” She also shared she puts pets in these rooms, which explains some of the smell! Not enough seating at breakfast which was also nasty. Salty freeze dried eggs and gloopy bucket of oatmeal that sits for hours.

The Comfort in was a fine place to spend the night. The room was clean and met our needs. We chose the Comfort Inn because they allow dogs. There was an additional charge of $50 for our pet which I don’t recall seeing in the listing or disclosed until we got there. The very friendly front desk person asked us if we knew about the charge at check-in so it seemed like a standard cost they address upfront.

Always see a hotel listed as clean and inviting but that’s not always the case. This hotel was clean, the staff friendly and readily available to assist. Parking lot well lighted, floors quiet all night and throughout day, room well cleaned and maintained. Will definitely stay there again.

OK but could be better
Room and bed was comfortable and quiet. We stayed 2 nights. First breakfast had watered down orange juice and few breakfast choices. 2nd breakfast had good juice, more food choices but watered down decaf coffee. Reception staff appears impatient-talks fast and is abrupt.

I walked 6 times the perimeter of the property for a mile walk. Easy, quiet and relaxing. The personnel were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very good. I recommend highly.

I’ve stayed at a few hotels in South Carolina and this specific comfort inn was by far the best one. They lost electricity for a few hours due to the weather, however it was still the best stay I’ve had in South Carolina.
