*** If you have a large vehicle (minivan, full-size truck, etc.) expect to struggle if you park underground: spots are tight and small cars take the better spots despite "compact" parking labels
It was a very good stay for me, a guest, and my two dogs: friendly, clean & dog friendly.
Issues: "nightlife", human and animal, gets intense after 10pm

Great ambiance, fun decor and not boring. We’ve stayed at other pineapple hospitality locations but this one was fun and funky. Complementry umbrellas or bicycles during daylight hours. During check in we received pineapple cookies that were wonderful.
My family and I just flew in from Hawaii with pineapple gummies so we shared some with the staff.

Kraken fan favorite!
This is our favorite for Kraken games, yes we live less than 50 miles but it so nice to check in, park and walk to game. Hospitality is always great. The bistro dude could use help on Saturday mornings. Love the deco and fuffly bed duvets. Great cleaning team, so friendly and helpful.

We loved everything about our stay. The location is extremely convenient and desirable. Every staff member was welcoming and friendly. Loved all the little details like a free welcome drink, comfy bedding, roomy junior suite, and the cheery lobby area.

Too many charges
Although I really enjoyed my stay at The Maxwell Hotel and it was centrally located for 6 nights for business I won’t stay there again. The fees just killed it for me. Resort fees for coffee and tea! Parking fees, taxes upon taxes. I booked a 7 night stay that was quoted to be about $1100 ended up over $1459! The resort fees are really the biggest issues! Why should I pay for services that I don’t use but rooms are only cleaned every other day. If you want to charge me to use the pool that’s fine, but if I never use the pool or gym I have to pay extra? Why not just roll these mandatory costs into the cost of the room. This is bait and switch advertising of low room prices to increase reservations while socking bulkshit mandatory fees. Travel 15 weeks a year and will not stay in a Staypineapple again.

Well, I booked parking online when I did the check in. Upon arrival we were told that I did not have parking and it was sold out. No apology. No attempt to see if they could find a space. We were instructed to use the parking garage across the street. The price was much higher and our windows got busted out.

The rooms have nice touches of friendly pineapple displays. Roomy and clean. The property has gated underground parking so there is no worries about your vehicle in the neighborhood.

A phenomenal hotel that is in the perfect location to catch hockey games, check out Seattle Center, get downtown, or explore around Queen Anne. Fantastic customer service and a great stay all around. We will be back!

Sweet as pineapple
Wonderful stay, the bedding was very plush and one of the most comfortable sleeping experiences I ever had in a hotel!
My dog loved the trip and even his bed was super comfortable. Staff is fantastic and they have a lovely resident bulldog in the lobby sometimes too.
Complimentary drinks the night of our arrival was a nice bonus and the cafe/bar makes for an incredibly convenient experience especially as it was (of course) raining the whole trip!

The hotel has its own somewhat “quirky” personality but that doesn’t get in the way of offering great beds, friendly service, and convenient/central location. We’ve stayed at this Stay Pineapple many times and haven’t ever been disappointed.

The great thing about this hotel is its staff. They are friendly and very helpful in answering your questions and assisting you where they can.
The room is spacious and comfortable, the bed is on the softer side. Temperature control wasn’t very effective but the room temperature was good so I didn’t need to adjust.
This hotel is close to event centres so when there is a game (which is pretty much every weekend) the traffic is horrible. And it’s always busy, so if you have an upgrade perk you likely won’t get it.
The gym was horrible. I feel that if you’re charged a fee for extras then the hotel should have facilities worth the extra charge. They have a pool as well. But it’s small like most hotel pools go.
Parking was limited and expensive at $42 a night but it is Seattle. The garage was under the hotel and was secure. There is no valet service. The option is the parkade across the street but not sure if it’s as safe for your vehicle.
The downtown core is a bit of a walk but you are close to the Monorail which is convenient. The hotel is close to the Space Needle and the MoPOP.
Overall, considering Seattle hotel prices, this is fairly affordable. You get what you pay for.

You are charged additional fees for run down amenties & will get an attitude from staff if you ask for water or coffee that you are charged for. I stayed for 3 nights and only had 2 towels. This is my 3rd time staying here and I won't stay again. It is a very stingy hotel experience. Staff seems stressed out telling you that you will be charged for parking. Don't forget you will be charged for parking. I was told several times. I can afford parking. Maybe if you weren't so stressed out delivering fees you could remember hospitality & how to deliver it.

Hotel was cute but parking was not convenient. If you find a spot I recommend not leaving or else you won’t get it back and have to park on the street like I did. Breakfast options were minimal and pool was cold.

This was my fourth or fifth stay at the Maxwell and it has been consistently excellent. The staff is unfailingly kind, friendly, and warm, and the hotel is a cozy home away from home. Although I don't have a dog, I love the pet-friendly elements (including dogs at the front desk and Dash the Pineapple Pup in each room). Neighborhood is great--close to the action but not too busy. The ability to self-park with in-and-out privileges is incredibly helpful. Will definitely stay again. One minor quibble--they have you check in and out online, and I confirmed with staff that I'd receive a folio/receipt after checkout, but I had to call for this. The billing person seemed strangely annoyed to have to send the document (I booked through Hotels.com but the hotel charged directly for parking and a resort fee). Otherwise, great stay as always.

Perfect locale, super fun hotel
Will totally stay here again! This hotel is beautiful, fun, quirky & comfortable. Had so much fun here. Well-done marketing dept! And the location was right where we needed to be, short Uber/taxi ride to the places we needed to go. Easy walking distance to Space Needle & Chihuy museum. Neighborhood quaint.

Just stayed a night in the junior suite and it was awesome!! The Maxwell is a great place to stay! Very clean and cozy! The staff is very friendly and helpful! Plus they are within walking distance to the quite a few attractions in downtown Seattle! Definitely check them out
